Buying a Spa can be overwhelming, time consuming and fraught with indecision. We have been searching for a 50 amp Spa throughout the Albuquerque area for several months. After visiting many locations, we were not satisfied with the buying experience, or the lack of personal service provided when spending that type of money. Fortunately for us, we ventured into Calderas Spas on 5310 Menaul NE. ABQ and was promptly met by Carol who provided us with her personal attention, listened to our needs and provided recommendations based on our own needs. We left the store with many thoughts and one of them was trust, trust in the salesperson and the business as we all know is essential when making a large purchase. We left the store feeling good about our experience then out of an abundance of caution (as previously mentioned “indecision”), we ventured into another location that we had visited earlier in the week for a second look and the experience was lackluster to say the least and there was absolutely no trust in our interaction with the salesperson. 3 days later we returned to see Carol and was greeted again with her professional, attentive, and respectful attitude. The positive interaction with her was a selling point and we purchased a 50 amp 3-person Spa that met all of our needs. Delivery was timely and set up was flawless. Our electrician who hooked it up was even impressed with the Spa and how it was internally insulated. We have had the Spa operational for 2 days and are completely satisfied. We will contacting Carol at Calderas Spas for any of our future needs and I would recommend that if you are looking at purchasing a Spa reach out to Carol. Another satisfied customer.

Finding the right swim spa can be a daunting experience. We looked at many different stores and many different web sites. Carol at Caldera Spas was very knowledgeable and patiently helped us through the selection process. Carol is very friendly and you can reach her almost anytime. Carol also gave us contact information for people to do the site prep work, electrical work, crane work and delivery of the swim spa. This step was important because we wanted to install it partially inground.We purchased an American Whirlpool Swim Spa and Carol helped us throughout the process. Even though it was frustrating because of the delivery delays from the manufacturer Carol did a wonderful job of working for us to get the swim spa delivered. She kept after the manufacturer! We highly recommend working with Carol if you are in the market for a hot tub or swim spa.

How do I start? Carol pulled teeth and every string imaginable to help us. My friend had ordered a swim spa while in treatment for cancer. After over 5 months of living in an RV and moving to and fom air BNBs and 2 robberies while waiting for their house to be ready, she was hospitalized and put on hospice care. Her wish was to move in and swim in the spa. Move in date was days away but delivery was weeks away. Carol made it happen. We are all so very very grateful. It was such desparately needed relief. I was suspect that Rick might be pricey but after three other estimates, Rick definitely was the wise choice AND he was very thorough, experienced, skilled and did a great job. To be fair, when we walked in we had already done our research and were pretty clear on what we wanted for our family. Carol met us with such a warm personality, uplifting and truly cared if we were having a wonderful day. Expecting the normal sales approach, we explained what we were looking for, and she had no issues finding what we wanted on our terms. The reason we chose Caldera Spas was because of the longevity, reputation and quality. Carol knew every hot tub inside and out, Caldera or otherwise, she knew the warranty and even with an obscure electrical connection issue, she found the answer which was a change in the latest version and was not documented, but she did not only just find the answer, I can’t stress enough how much she CARED about finding, learning and knowing the answer for future questions. We had checked with a few other places before, only to be met by pushy, stubborn individuals that didn’t even know their own product, Carol and from what we can tell everybody at Caldera are on their A game. As far as the ordering experience, the spa that we chose was ready before we were and they were able to hold it for a couple weeks while we prepare, the instructions for care are much easier to read and perform then some other spas, the heater / jet combination was exactly what we wanted. Even though we chose a model that was 240v, it comes built in with options for 30 and 50 amp service so it fit our existing house electricals which has Solar, electric stove and Forced air and they have one of the largest selections of 120v spas.I really can’t say enough good about our experience and I sincerely appreciate the amazing compassion, salesmanship, knowledge and quality!

We bought a hot tub last month from Caldera on Menaul, and have been extremely happy so far! We are using it daily, and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I love my spa. I wasnt sure about which model to buy, but Carol was so helpful. She was welcoming and kind, and was there every step of the way in the process of getting it delivered and set up. We almost bought a smaller spa then we were shown the Caldera Tarino and realized for not much more money we could get a bigger spa with more features. The Tarino is perfect for the price. It sits five people with plenty of room to spare. Also, there are plenty of jets and the added waterfall and colored lights are great. I would definitely recommend going to Carol. Whenever Ive had a question she is there to answer it. She is a naturally great salesperson because she is genuine. I got the spa in February and have consulted with her frequently. Most of the time I get her but if I leave a message she will call me right back. You are in very capable hands when you buy a spa from Carol.

I was looking at hot tubs for a while and I walked into Calderas Spas and started talking to Carol. Carol is so very knowledgeable about hot tubs. I told her what my budget was and what I was looking for and she suggested the Caldera Vanto spa. It is such a wonderful spa with a lot of jets, waterfall and even changing color lights. Everyone at Calderas have been great, from the sales person Carol to the warehouse guy. I picked up my Spa 7pm on a Wednesday night and the warehouse guy waited for me. I would highly recommend Caldera Spas for a spa, they are simply the BEST…

I have been all over the 505 looking for a pool cue. Carol at Caldera was so delightful from start to finish. I really wanted a particular cue at 22oz. She was able to order it for me and it arrived very quickly. The showroom is nicely laid out and they have a great selection!

Carol took excellent care of us. The 2 gentlemen who delivered and set up our spa in Paako did a great job and made knowledgeable suggestions about placement to get the best views. Referred a colleague who bought the same model from Carol and had the same experience. Would recommend for any future purchases.

The best in town!! Kevin not only sold us a great hot tub but was completely upfront, transparent and honest with us. He even showed us some money saving tips when he could have withheld info to make more money. This was completely refreshing considering the dishonesty that permeates the business world. I highly recommend Carol Brown at Caldera Spas. She is passionate about her product! I visited many hot tub dealers in Abq. and Santa Fe over a 6 month period and spoke with many professionals of varying caliber. I liked Caldera and Hot Springs most...wonderful people representing wonderful, highly rated products. Word of advise...wet testing is critical!!! Many times, I found the hot tub I thought I really liked was disappointing to enter and/or soak in. We are older now, so safer accessibility is critical. Ultimately, we purchased the hot tub model that we felt best served our needs and wants. Also, quality and accessibility of future service was very important. Its very similar to purchasing a new car, you need to do due diligence and choose whats best for you from someone you feel comfortable with and confident in. Ive never owned a hot tub, on line research is mind boggling, and there is a lot of misleading information out there. Ms. Brown was extraordinarily patient with me, fielded every single question I had, researched the obscure ones, and never hesitated to call the rep to get me the answers I needed. Its a VERY big purchase and I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision. I challenged her and she delivered every time. I ended up trusting Carol so much that I ordered a top of the line Caldera Cantabria Utopia model from her sight unseen. I based my decision on the quality and the comfort of the mid line series she had me wet test in the store...I NEVER do that (work too hard for my money and never buy a pig in a poke). It was delivered yesterday and I am more than impressed with it. Its not set up yet (unexpected home electrical issues to resolve), but I was all over that tub with a fine toothed comb...its breathtaking! Dear Mr. Owner, you really should carry one of the Utopia models in the store...it would make Carols job easier if a client could look, touch, and feel one in person instead of a catalog...luckily, after A LOT of reassurance & convincing, I took her word for it! Kudos Carol for a job well done from a very satisfied client!!! Fingers crossed well have it up and running for New Years Eve! PS...and a shout out to Jorge and the delivery team...great guys!!!

Its easy to give a great review when everything goes right, its harder when things dont go as planned. The biggest factor in a great review when things dont go as planned is how the problems are dealt with. Kevin was friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience, but when we had a couple of issues with our purchase he was also informative, attentive, and apologetic. Everything was taken care of and we have exactly what we want and the spa is fabulous. Thank you again, the product (Tuff Spa) and the service are great!
