It’s a nice store but needs more staff. I went on a Saturday and only 2 full service lanes were open. However, every self checkout lane was open. My daughters and I even bagged our own groceries and I saw another customer in the other full service lane doing the same thing. I don’t mind lending a hand but on a Saturday, which is a busy day, please get some more staff!

Store is always nice and clean, its not as big as some Kroger stores but it has everything you need. Most of the staff is kind and helpful.

The shelves needed to be stocked. I am unhappy that the deli does not open until 8am. According to employees someone named Denise decided to change the deli hours. I only ended up with half of my items on my list. I wont be back to this Kroger. I dont have the time or the good health to have to run to 2 stores to get all of my items. You guys just arent worth it.

Shopping here is always a good experience!!! Especially today, there was an employee named Tanna. She bagged our groceries in a pefect and thoughtful way. She had a huge smile and was great to talk to. Makes the shopping experience wonderful!!!!!

The bagger bagging my groceries was very rude. I asked if she can not throw my items around and yet she still did. Then I asked for another bagger and she gave a smart remark, while continuing to bag my groceries. Very bad attitude.

Did curbside pickup for apr18, 2020. Was going to use the bread apt 19 and it was moldy. In multiple places. Sell by date sticker was apr 20. Bread was in kroger bakery, $3.59. I expect more from kroger.

Today’s experience was terrible. First the store waited until about 10 minutes prior to my pickup time to text to say there would be an additional hour wait time. Only saw this when I arrived at the store as I don’t check my texts while driving. Second, the attendant told me an item had been substituted and I did not approve any substitutions nor was I given the opportunity. I let this one go as it was only one item and not a big deal. Third, I asked for a receipt as I was not given one and the attendant had to go back inside to acquire one. Fourth, I am assuming the person bringing me the receipt might have been a supervisor. This person needs to spend more time making sure that receipts are given to customers and less time on her intimidation speech prep to attempt to make it the customer’s issue. Fifth, I arrived home and began unloading my vehicle and found can goods sitting on top of produce. Sixth, one of the cans is badly dented and has been thrown in the trash.

Click list is a joke here. We have used it 2 weeks in a row at different times of day and have waited over a hour once we arrived to receive our order. I could definitely shop for myself faster. After getting home they made multiple substitutions to my order and after walking around the store low and behold I found everything they substituted for stating they didnt have it. WOW WOW WOW walmart at least lets you know what you are getting and a choice on weather that works!!!!!

I had made a purchase the day before and had an awesome conversation with the cashier at checkout unfortunately Id forgotten to use my Kroger card. The next day i returned to see if they could help get the savings back. Gale at guest services so kind and not only refunded the money from savings back to my card but even updated the proper fuel points to be added to my account as well. What an outstanding example of taking great care of your customers and going above and beyond.

Logan was my bagger today and he made my day by taking the time to get me a second cart. Mind you i had my 5 month old son with me crying of course lol that didnt stop him to help and make me feel comfortable cause people stare anyways! he also took the time to walk us out with my 2nd cart of groceries and load ALL my groceries in my car for me while i buckled my son in! HUGE Thank You Logan for your A1 customer service today to make my day a little easier on me today!

Shout out to a couple great guys at the Alcoa Kroger. Draven in the deli and Nathaniel in the meat department. Each encounter with them has been very positive. Both are curtious and friendly and helpful. More employees like these guys would help keep customers coning back! With losts of area competition, customer service wins with me and my friends and family everytime! These guys are a value to Kroger, I hope they are recognized for their exceptional service.

So I go here getting a lift from my Uber, nice guy his name is Gabe, in the need of a dozen glazed donuts. Simple right? So I read the label of the dozen glazed donuts and Im out the door back to Gabriel to enjoy my purchase.Next to my surprise I open it up expecting the perfect glaziness of that donut to enter me. But no its a f%#$ING pretzel. But pretzels are great so f%#$ it, win win amirite?So I down that salty b%#$@rd but now Im ready for my sweets. Next up, a F%#$%NG BAGEL. If Id have known I was getting bagels Id have gotten cream cheese! I check the box and theyre all bagels! And not just bagels but theres only six of them not the dozen like I expect!Oh well it was on clearance so you cant be too upset, I guess. Either way Im not too pleased with my experience. But the Uber driver kicked a$$ so 5 stars.

The Click List pick up was horrible. I waited over an hour to get my groceries. The way they have the curbside lanes organized is chaotic and very confusing. I felt really bad for the 2 employees I saw working curbside, they were trying their best but they couldn’t keep up with the line of cars.

Everyone is extremely nice have shopped there since 1990. Couple of questions, why do the deli employees wear the same gloves with multiple orders touching the meats, the equipment, the packaging and on to the next customer. I have seen one young man who changed between orders and also washed his hands. 2nd, several employees wear their masks below their nose and touch their faces, nose etc. I know it is a hassle, it is for me too but sorta defeats the purpose ! Their are many of your employees who are following the guidelines and I really appreciate it. I wish more of the customers would wear them . Thank you for the person who wipes down the carts

I had a problem with my pickup date with my medication. It seemed to be a computer issue regarding the date. Tommy, the pharmacist was able to correct the dates, keeping me from having to go without for 2 weeks. Im disabled and need my medication on time. Tommy went above and beyond with my receipts to correct the problem. A1 Service!!!!! Thank you KROGER pharmacists!!!!!!

Carries more than just their brands like Walmart. Walmart wants you to buy their brand only... On many things. Grr

Kroger Hall Road grocery pickup is so convenient. I used the Kroger app to order and they had most everything I needed or offered substitution options. Saved me so much time not having to go in and shop.

Mask mandate needs to be enforced better

Tons of customers without any masks on, and no employees enforcing mask wearing policies. Kroger makes enough money to pay someone to not allow customers entrance to the store if they refuse to wear a mask.

I enjoy shopping at Kroger on north hall road because of the workers. Most grocery stores have about the same items and products but seeing a familiar face enhances the experience. Ive been shopping at this store for 12 years.

The pharmacy is about useful as a white crayon. Been there 3 times today still not ready, people are rude and careless. I will never ever be back to this pharmacy.

Great experience! Loved the variety. The prices were good, friendly & very helpful staff and the bathrooms were very clean! A plus for me! We stopped here on vacation & this store left a great impression on an out-of-towner. 😉👍

Negative 3 stars. The pharmacy staff is always so awful and rude and treat me and everyone I know like they’re stupid and criminals. However, the store is great and staff is very friendly! Just don’t recommend for your pharmaceutical needs.

There are so many good things about this store. I love the people that work there. They are always friendly. I love the new app that provides a shopping list with things that I have ordered in the past and it is in order by aisles. There are lots of digital coupons and they mail you paper coupons for things that you buy on a regular basis. Now they have the CLiCKLIST Its wonderful and easy. I love this place.

Stood in line for 25 minutes to check out. A Saturday at 6:30 you should have more than 1 register open, especially when we have 8 employees up front just chatting away

Arrived at 5:50pm. Told Rx would be ready at 6:35pm. Still waiting at 7:15pm. Happens over and over; in process of switching. Can’t tell if it’s lack of awareness by management, or they just don’t care.

This is one of the worst Krogers I’ve ever shopped at. Almost as bad as Chapman and the sketch Kroger on Broadway. There’s never any parking like EVER. The light poles and cart returns take up so much space. As a mom with a young baby parking far away, especially when it’s raining and at night, is very inconvenient. Also, they’re always out of the things I regularly buy. The water I buy from here is double the cost that it is anywhere else. The staff look and act miserable and are totally unhelpful.

Has everything one would need and is an overall alright place to pick up something quick. Dont expect too much help from the morning employees though as most of them are just talking to one another not really paying attention to whats going on around them. Also with it being a bit small and rather crammed for a grocery store, a lot of the smells from various places just kinda of mix together and leave this strange lingering odor that seems to sit in the entrance to near middle of the store. I would only recommend this Kroger as a regular shopping place if you live within a almost walking distance. Otherwise, the Marketplace Kroger which isnt far from this location is the better option of the two.

Used to have great service now you have the courtesy clerks looking at you like are you going to bag your groceries or what. May have to check out food city

The butcher at Krogers is fantastic. He is always ready to lend a hand with your selection and with what you might want to cook that night. We have gone there for 20 years now. Robbie is the man when it comes to butchers.

I am a big fan of Kroger. In many ways, the Alcoa Kroger fulfills my needs. With so many regional store upgrades though, this location is in serious need. During busy times, the parking lot becomes seemingly 95% full, and traversing the store feels clunky compared to more modern grocery layout designs. Im happy with the management and service, but hopeful there will be renovations soon.

Never going back (and neither is my company for Im the treasurer)!!!!! I called the store to see if they had an item (which it says they carry on the website). I got transferred several times and told they had it. I then show up for me and and an employee to waste literally over an hour looking for a product they didnt have!!!!

No cashier on hand after 10pm, only self-check. Some of the cashiers are less than pleasant. But there are some really great ones that make up for the grumpier ones too :)

Very limited selection on products especially in the meat department. Produce was lacking also. Other Kroger stores are better. Staff were helpful and friendly. I will shop elsewhere.

Visited July 26, 2020 between 1:30-2:00 pm. Kroger mask and social distancing policies were not being enforced. This store is a bio-hazard.

Staff wasnt friendly at all, and when I used my digital coupons they were not all applied. I did check and realized that there was a couple that were my fault B.C. I grabbed the kind or size. Im still confused on the others though. And we are talking about a pretty fair difference.

I like this Kroger. Its practically next door to where I live, so is my regular store. It stays clean, is well organized, and the people are friendly. My only big complaint is that they seem to constantly be out of stuff, making us frequently have to come back later or choose another brand to get everything on our grocery list.

I used to enjoy going to this Kroger; however, every time I go in lately, they dont have something on my list. I go here every week, and I buy the same groceries - and yet every time, I cannot get something that I usually do. Its always super packed, and its hard to find good parking (especially for a pregnant woman with a 14 month old). Theres always a line at check out. I usually end up frustrated with something during my visit.

Excellent pharmacy experience at the Alcoa location with great techs and pharmacists who always take the time to respond to any concern or question.

Kroger is an awesome grocery store that tries to make sure they have the items people are looking for. Its a clean store and the personnel are so friendly!

Comparable to Publix. Good selection with competitive prices. Our newest one has full deli, sushi & salad bars, a bakery, Starbucks & a craft beer bar.

I prefer shopping at Kroger over all the other grocery stores. This kroger is always clean, well stocked and has great customer service. They are in the process of updating this store so thats a bonus as well

I came in after midnight. There wasnt anyone working out front. It took me several minutes to find an employee, nearly 4 or 5 minutes. That was after I had very loudly asked for someone to help us. By us I mean the 5 other shoppers in the store. The stock boys came out to help find someone that could work the registers. I know that someone that looked like he could have been the night manager came out of a room behind the counter. There was one girl that came out with him and then another girl was found smoking outside. The one outside appeared to be talking to several friends. Someone could have easily filled their shopping cart full of nothing but meat and just strolled right out. I will not be going to that Krogers again!

Been shopping here for a while it was better when it was 24 hours but prices are comprable in some cases and every once in awhile their clearance section has a heck of a deal...between the customer satisfaction coupons and their online coupons its generally pretty affordable

My go to grocery store. Not so big you have to budget an hour for the trip or so small it doesnt have the selection you need. Wonderful people and clean.

Kudos to night shift manager...my card declined unexpectedly and he was very polite and suggested he keep my FULL cart in their dairy cooler over night till i could return in the morning....without so much as a sigh of having put him out to do so.

Waited in line In drive thru pharmacy for nearly 45 minutes just for someone to come to window. The car behind me finally gave up and left. I then backed out and went to park. I went in and and waited another 15 minutes to be waited on. The tech said only 3 people were working. I just turned in my prescriptions and left. They said it would about 2 hours to get it. They never even apologized. I dont recommend them to anyone.

Came into this store at 9:00 pm just to go to the money center. As Im trying to find someone to ask if the money center is open, I see an employee talking to what Im guessing was a friend that came to visit her by their reaction to one another, Im waiting for them to get done conversing bc she was the only employee that wasnt working. I wasnt going to ask the others up front bc they were busy with customers, so this lady gets done talking to the other lady and as she is hurriedly walking past me I ask if the money center is closed and all I get is I believe so. I dont get a straight answer nor do I get a let me check and she goes out the front door. Im left standing there confused and baffled by the poor customer service that just occurred. I didnt get the womans name and I hoped that she wouldve helped me on a account of her being the only one that wasnt busy. That was very lowsy customer service on her part.

Its small and cozy, especially the parking lot, but I like that - its easy to quickly get around the store and get what you need. The employees are all friendly and the store is laid out very efficiently in what little space they have.

I shop there all the time. I live really close to the store, I get my prescriptions filled there, and they are the only one that sells my sensitive dish soap, and they have comparative prices. And SOMETIMES they deliver my meds, if they can get a delivery driver for that day.... I just wish THIS Krogers delivered.....

After downloading the app to my phone, for some reason, the ad doesnt match the sale. Asking for assistance on several occasions, no team member or manager can acyactua help with the Kroger AP.So I simply take the item sale ticket off the shelf and bring it to the register and make the cashier over ride the price and give me the sale price.

Its very small, strangely organized, the parking is horrible, produce isnt as well maintained as other Krogers and neither is customer service. Essentially, its a good location and has the has station or I wouldnt bother at all. Most of the time I will drive further to another Krogers or go to another store.
