I noticed Cell Phone Repair when taking my daughter to tutoring. I decided to go in without my daughters phone which she had dropped into water a few weeks ago. I asked a few questions regarding repairs from water damage and was told to bring the phone in for examining.. This shop is great. All employees I’ve interacted with and worked with have been supremely polite and very quick to assist me. At most, I’ve had my repair completed with 1-2 hours with perfect work. They have shown me why repairs were needed and what was required to remedy the issues then asked permission to complete them before moving forward. I’ve had the pleasure of working with repair technicians, Varun and Nikki. Both were very nice and did great work. I will definitely come back with further repair needs.

He then fixed one of the phones very quickly and for a reasonable price. If I could rate negative stars I would. I got my MacBook Air screen fixed here. The guy at the front desk was unsure of every question I asked. That should have been my first red flag. I picked up my computer and it was working perfectly fine…until I took it home. The next day the computer wouldn’t turn on at all. I took it to an Apple store (which I should’ve done in the first place) and they called me back to tell me it would be $400 or more to fix it and that whoever replaced the screen replaced it with a non-authentic Apple screen. I paid $400 for them to kill my computer. If you have any sort of Apple device, learn from my mistake and TAKE IT TO APPLE! Otherwise you will get screwed over like I did.

I was trying. to get my Iphone XR screen repair and saw this on my way home so i stopped in. The lady tells me it. will be $149 +tax and i agree. I signed all papers and tried to pay with my hundred dollar bill (i just got the bill from work) the lady tells me she’s not sure if she can accept it (it’s an older hundred) and says she needs to go check the bill. she walks away, WITHOUT the hundred, makes a phone call then comes back and tells me my money is fake without actually checking. Will never take my business back and actually used the money at another phone screen repair in plano for $50 less and got a new case at legacy and chase oaks in jusgo supermarket!

Worked with young man (I think his name is Varun). Very honest, and he knew exactly how to fix my phone. He could have charged me more and I would not have known about it either, BUT he did not. I got my iPhone back in 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place and even more importantly I suggest ask for Varun. I applaud such sincerity, honesty and knowledge.

Verun was AWESOME! We had gone to go visit my parents up in Allen and I dropped my phone and ruined what I thought was my screen. Some places would’ve taken the money and replaced the screen for$100 or more but Verun said it was merely the glass protector I had on it and not only charged me all of $15 but did it in like 3 minutes.While there he overheard my conversation with my daughter regarding the lack of battery she has in my old Iphone 6s and offered to put a new battery in it for ONLY $30. We had been quoted $50 and even as high as $75 down here in Houston so I said for $30 - SURE! Needless to say, it works 10 times better now and her quick charge lasted all the way back to Htown.Thank you Verun and thank you Cell Phone Repair of Allen!!!

I needed to find a place to repair my iphone 8 since the charging port wasnt working very well and my screen was cracked. I called cell phone repair Allen after my workout and spoke to Sean on phone. Even though the store was closing in 20 mins, he insisted I come by to have my phone fix. When I arrive, he was very professional and had my iphone repaired in 20 mins. If you ever need your iphone or tablet fixed, this is the place to go!

My phone wont power on. I took it two different cellphone repair shops and they couldnt figure it out. One of the repair shops recommended taking it to Sozo and Im glad I did. They were able to fix it at a very reasonable price. This is my go to cellphone repair shop now!!!

Took my phone in with screen damage, and potential thought of interior damage, but when my phone screen was supposed to replaced correctly, the battery just happened to malfunction while being work on by the technician, requiring the phone to be left there over night until, what was supposed to be noon the next day when we went back, the phone wasnt even at that store anymore, it was at a different location getting the battery replaced and the connection made sure it properly worked before they returned it to me, but it took two almost three additional hours for the phone to return to the store for it to still not work properly, the rear camera no longer focuses properly despite doing that before the phone being fixed, with proof snapchats, do not intend to ever return to this store or any of the branch stores.

I went in ready to argue why they should fix it, they took one glance, told me it was covered by the warranty, and it was no charge. 30 minutes later it was as good as new. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Yikes - I dropped my cell phone and of course, it wouldn’t work - and today is the day before a long holiday weekend. So I took it to Sozo immediately (my daughter recommended this business as she has used their services and really liked them). They were very busy so I had to leave my phone for 1.5 hours - but when I came back, it was good as new. The owner was very nice and explained everything to me. He said it would be either $25 or $65 depending on what he found when he opened the phone. It turned out to cost only $25.00 so I know he was honest. I am appreciative of this business and will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

My husband and I took his phone in late on a Saturday because the screen was cracked while washing our dog earlier in the day and he couldnt even get into the phone because it was shattered so badly. We were greeted immediately upon entering and explained what had happened and explained that we needed it back asap since my husband was leaving for a military exercise on Monday. We were told he had a lot of repairs brought in that day that still needed to be finished but that he would see what he could do to get my husbands phone repaired. My husband and I went and worked out and were called a bit later and told the phone was repaired. Little did we know he had stayed quite a bit past closing just to ensure my husband had his phone in time to leave for training. Its not often that someone goes out of their way for their customers but in this case I cant say strongly enough how much we appreciate his kind heart and professional expertise. My husband now has his phone back and its working perfectly. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. HIGHLY recommend and would go back in a heartbeat should the need arise again.

There really should be a zero or negative rating. Very rude owner...will likely count as my worst experience with any service provider. Went in with a broken screen. After about an hour of waiting, I get my phone back. Screen was fixed but now there were 2 other problems 1) my finger print reader was not working and 2) the screen was not evenly installed. When I brought this to the owners attention, he, in a very very condescending and irascible manner, tried to convince me that the finger print reader was already almost dead and that it is not surprising that it no longer works. Keep in mind that, even with a broken screen, it worked perfectly. With the misaligned new screen he also blamed my phone for the slanted screen. Ultimately, what this condescending owner was expecting was for me to pay $200 for what he called a screen repair and then take the phone to an Apple Store and pay another fee to fix the finger print reader. Obviously, I did not believe his flawed hypothesis about the finger print reader...I have a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and spent 11 years designing telecom systems. Anyway I asked him to put the cracked screen back on and void the $200 charge, so I can take the phone to an Apple Store to get it fixed. At this point he agrees to do that (for a $25 fee) and takes the phone in the back room again. Long story short, his hired technician (very nice and professional guy) must have taken a crack at fixing the phone himself and actually got everything working, finger print reader and screen flush like new. I am very happy with the result at this point. I expected the owner, who through is own incompetence nearly cost me $200+ for a non-repair, to apologize but he did not. This man did not have the humility to apologize to a wronged customer. I spoke to his wife (very nice lady) and both she and the hired technician were very apologetic. She offered a free charger but unfortunately I had enough of those at home.Anyway, this was such a terrible experience that I doubt I would be going back to this shop. If u still plan to use their services, please be careful with this owner. You just might end up paying more than you should, unless of course you deal directly with the hired technician.

DONT GO HERE! The owner is extremely rude and staff do not know what they are doing. When I brought my newborn son home from the hospital I dropped my phone cracking my screen. My husband took my phone here the same day and when I got it back it said something about entering a pin # in 10 tries or all my data would be erased. Since Ive had this phone for years I was unable to remember the pin I entered then. This office obviously knew they messed up by entering the incorrect pattern password I used daily and that my husband provided- because they gave him a print out from an Internet page on how to unlock the phone without the pin. Nonetheless it did not work and I lost ALL my data including the photos taken of my first child. When I went to the store myself the owner/repair man would not take responsibility for putting my pattern password incorrectly and locking my phone. He repeatedly said I need to take responsibility for not knowing the pin even though this whole situation could have been avoided if he had waited for my husband to return to the store after he realized he was unable to unlock the phone himself. Being emotional and upset I asked if there was anything he could do. When he asked what I would like him to do I responded asking for just partial refund of the service. He said he would refund my money but put back my broken screen (leaving me with none of my pictures and a cracked screen). All I can say is dont take your phone here, the repairman search online to figure out phone repairs. Save yourself the money and take your phone to professionals.

Luckily Leonard handed it back the same day I brought it in for the repair. Hopefully I dont break anything. But if I do break anything, Ill be sure to check back here first.

I have been here 1 time with a friend for his phone, which took 30 minutes. After that initial experience, I made it my go to place for when I crack my phone (as Im very clumsy and dont like reorganizing my phone with AppleCare. Besides it can only be used twice a year). Ever since that first time, Ive been there an additional 5 times on my own (all within a year, dont judge me, Im clumsy). Every time, Im greeted professionally and effectively. Even when he told me he has a high work load and could take up to 3 hours, I receive a call telling me my phone is ready no more than an hour and a half later. There was one time when the repair was done incorrectly, leaving minor glitch issues (the screen spazzed out like once an hour or so) so I brought it to Sozo and it was repaired in 45 minutes, free of charge.Terrific work, expertise, and consistency. Absolutely wonderful work, I recommend this store to anyone with telecommunications issues.

My daughter forgot her iphone was in the pocket of her sweatshirt until after she tossed it on the bathroom floor hearing the dreaded thump. Cracked screen in hand I went to where I have always gone before SOZO. The owner is so nice and understanding. He had my daughters phone back to me within the hour - good as new! Not only did it need a screen but the proximity sensor as well.Now my other daughter is having a speaker problem and is at the apple store to first see if it is manufacturer problem. If it is not I have already spoken to SOZO about the issue and he is confident he will be able to repair.This is where I will go every time! Local, honest, fair prices and extremely educated on all parts associated with my devices.

Sozo cellphone repair is a joke. I thought when learning about Black History that some blacks owned slaves. Well I can see how now. Sozo is owned by a black married couple. First of all they are not level 3 Technicians. They cant fix anything but an iPhone and they cant do that well. The owner (the husband) is very rude to customers and employees. I have seen him curse female customers out and tell them get out of my Fing store. Any lcd vendor coming to the store he has chased out when they were trying to network with us and brings us business and return we would give them business by purchasing lcd screens from them. I was the Technician for the past year.I was supposed to be a fulltime Sozo employee after 90 days. But I was kept as a 1099 contract employee for a whole year so they wouldnt have to pay the taxes for an employee. We agreed last year when I started that after a year I would get a $2.00 raise to bring me to the pay I wanted in the beginning. But after a year the owners for some reason didnt want uphold to what we agreed on. Now before I started working at Sozo they only did iPhones thats it no ipads no ipods no Samsung devices nothing but iphones. Now when I start working we can fix ipad,ipods Samsung device etc. I did 90% of the repairs that came through the door. And after a year of me improving sozo repair base I still dont get a raise. Sozo doesnt offer and PTO.sick days,holiday pay nothing. They offer nothing to the employee working for them. You are treated like you are a slave. Im upset becase this black couple went back on their word which was to pay me my raise after 12mnths. When that came they came to me with less than what we talked about and then wanted me after a year to turn into there janitor. For any customer lookoing to get your iPhone screen fixed here please dont. The owner refurbishes his own screen at times and he will use a sozo refurbished screen which isnt the same as a screen we get from a vendor. They do buy iPhone screens from vendors but like to hold on to those so he can sell you his sozo refurbished screen without asking you. So you are getting a new screen from sozo thats not that good. He is getting over on all customers that walk through their doors. He is mean hearted and only sees customers as nothing more than something beneath him. Stop going to SOZO CELLPHONE REPAIR IN ALLEN TX. they have been getting over on customers for years. They are not honest people at all. They treated me like a slave and then got rid of me when I wanted a raise. I brought good customer service to sozo with a great repair history behind me. They have also violated there bi board contract on more than one occasion. What I mean by that is,the bi board states that whenever someone come in off of the bi board and we need to fix there mobile device we needed to use OEM parts. We were not using OEM parts at all. The parts were either Astock or Bstock but never OEM when we were suppose to. I spent 1 yr of my life at this Slave factory and Im pissed that I did. Never Go here AGAIN Trust ME.

When I took my device back to ask show them that they replaced the screen but touch functionality is not working now they said they cant do nothing about it and there is no warranty on their job. There should be a zero star rating. Took iPad to get a connector replaced. Ended up with an iPad with a screen that fades to black on 1/2 the screen! The staff blamed me that I took the laptop there in this condition despite NO documentation stating this. Owner only tried to have fixed once she was made aware of how angry and frustrated her staff was making the customer as the tech was and condescending!
