Dr Britt was thorough in his exam and addressed my concerns and questions. The staff was very good. Getting new eyeglasses was easy and reasonable.

Everyone, without exception, treated me with courtesy. They all seemed to actually see me as a person and not just something taking up their space. It was a rare experience.I highly recommend Eye Care Plus if you want a very pleasant experience.

I had an exam for contacts in August and here it is in November and still no contacts. On top of that I was charged double what I could order the contacts for online. I have called multiple times and I was always promised a follow up call and never heard back from them. I keep getting told it is due to supply shortage so I asked for a printed prescription and got contacts elsewhere for half the price.

Updated: they cant even keep the place staffed enough to get people their glasses apparently. Waited over 30 minutes just to pick up glasses and never once had a staff member even check on me. Its not understaffing. They had two people working and I was the only customer in there and they saw many multiple times. Nice Dr but the staff is severely lacking in proper customer care and the whole thing is just one terrible customer experience. Ive been hung up on dozens of times, had them be outright rude, been left on hold for hours, and more. The worst experience ive ever had anywhere for anythingThey didnt order my glasses after I paid for them, so they got delayed by what they said would be 2 weeks onto of the original 2 weeks and its now been 4 without so much as an update. Every time I try to get ahold of someone after they left me a message saying one of the 2 pairs was actually ready I never get called back (4 business days now), hung up on, or have someone just be outright rude and tell me they dont have time to help me pick up my glasses. So why you get a good Dr, they obviously dont have support staff that cares.

Dr. P is a very knowledgeable and caring person. The exam equipment is first rate and the triage is very quick. The staff is courteous and friendly with the intent to make the patient feel comfortable and the center point of the business. The facility is up to date and well kept. COVID concerns are treated seriously. All precautions have been taken. You will not regret making this your family’s eye care center.

I had a really great experience for my eye exam recently. I was gotten in and seen very quickly. Everyone was super nice and Dr. P was so great! She takes the time to really explain everything and help you understand your eye health and what she’s seeing. I really appreciated her effort to ensure I was educated. Had an appointment at 2. I was screened and put in a room by 2:15. The staff was very kind and efficient. I waited in a room for 30 mins when a staff member popped in to say they were sorry about the wait. at 3:20 Dr. Britt comes in an rushes thru a greeting then throws out his elbow to me. I do not bump elbows, he insisted so I hit hit elbow with my hat and asked if we can get started. He then said something about getting his rabbit zippity, and I lost all faith he could maintain any semblance of professional standards and walked out. I have no idea what was going on outside in the office but to come in and offer me the same decorum you would a 7 year old is unacceptable. I am 48 and a 20 year Army Veteran. I expect that when I schedule time off to get an exam, that time is respected.

We have always loved this place! We usually see Dr. P but today, we saw Dr. Britt. We got to go in as a family. It was our sons 1st eye appointment. It was fun for him! He even earned a gooey eyeball prize!

This was probably the easiest eye appointment I have ever had! Dr. Britt and his team were great! I enjoyed going to a doctor who partakes in jokes and knows how to laugh. Dr. P and the ladies and gentlemen treat you like family.....they treat you as if your a person not a number or $$$. They use advanced testing and is open minded to new and improved equipment and products to help the patients. They listen to their patients and let them know they care. If more than one family member are patients, Dr. P always ask how everyone is doing and if anything has changed. Sge is a very remarkable doctor and definitely a lady in every sense of the words.

Took my wife and 3yr old for vision exams today and it could not have been a better experience. They were patient and informative, and they were able to easily conduct the examination on my 3yr olds eyes using their friendly and fun approach. Another thing I liked is that when we wanted to look at the glasses, they already were prepared with knowing what our insurance covers on frames and lenses and told us those amounts right off the bat. They also told us pricing during parts of the examination. Everything felt transparent and everyone was great.

When I first moved to Amarillo, I went to several eye care places before I found this one. Loved it and my doctor. E I went here for several years and just loved it. Then, my doctor retired. That year I went back with a bit of trepidation. But Dr. Britt is just as good as my previous doctor. They make something I dread every year less of an ordeal than any other place I have tried here. They take the stress out of the yearly exam.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We took our 8 year old who had been complaining of blurry vision. Every person was courteous, professional, and pleasant. Dr. Britt was amazing with our daughter and took the time to explain every little detail, he even went over the anatomy of her eye while looking at the picture of her eyes and answered every single question and gave her lots of education. It was like a super fun science lesson! This was the BEST experience we’ve had at an optometrist. Our entire family will be coming here from now on!

I called 2 months before my annual eye exam to inform them I was supposed to have additional eye testing due to starting a new medication. I was told it would all be done on the same visit. However, at the visit the doctor told me I would have to come back in a week or two to have the additional testing which would require taking off more time from work. Also, I had to pay an additional $25.00 for a retinal scan that I assumed was part of the medication testing but it actually replaced the typical eye dilation and manual exam that the doctor wasnt doing due to Covid even though both of us were wearing masks. I was not informed of either issue when I made the appointment. The office staff and doctor need to communicate better with each other and then pass along the correct information to patients in advance of their visit so this does not happen again.

We have seen Dr Jentzen for years but he has retired so we were a little hesitant to see a new doc. However, Dr Britt was fantastic. Very efficient, polite and made us feel at ease immediately. Our five kiddos range from 3–17 and they all loved him and we were in and out of the office in a very timely manner.

Everyone is always friendly here and they are doing a great job of keeping staff and patients safe during this time! I can even have my contacts shipped directly to my front door! Great place for eye Heath!

I found my new optometrist!My last provider retired and the remaining staff just weren’t friendly. So Google reviews led me here and for good reason.Dr. Pathapati is 100% amazing. As a nurse, I know providers are crunched for time and cannot always give patients the quality they would like. Dr. P makes time. She listened to my nonchalant symptom and earnestly investigated. She found a bigger issue missed by my previous 3 providers (I move around a lot). Something that could cost me a lot more in my later years. Dr. P took the time to educate, offer solutions, and ensure my needs were met. She is rare gem. Oh and she’s funny too! What more could you ask for?Also, the staff around the office are patient and kind. They didn’t rush my decisions and were quick to provide options on choices and their services.Lastly, they have a great selection of frames. Last year I went to 6 different stores hunting for frames. I should have gone here!
