ONE OF THE BEST T-MOBILE STORES AROUND! T-Mobile in American Fork was on top of things and extremely helpful. I had the opportunity to be helped by David, he made sure all my questions where answered and honor a quote I had received at another location. It was easy and pain free, they even let me go run a few errands while my name was in the que. Ill definitely be going back to this location again in the future

I am a 74 year old grandmother. He went above and beyond his job description. All of this technical setup and maintenance is intimidating to the “older” generation. The merger between T-Mobile and Sprint clearly favors T-Mobile. Long time, loyal Sprint customers are not given reasons to switch. Reasons that favor the consumer.

Chloe went the extra mile to set up two phones for us. She was very patient with us even though we forgot our passwords. It was my daughters first smart phone and Chloe made sure everything got installed on it so my daughter could do all the things she wanted to do with her phone and knew how to use it. It was a really positive experience for something that could have easily just been a chore. I also appreciated that Chloe informed us about discounts that were available on new phones.

I think I have only written one other google review before in my whole life. I would like to be kind in my communication here, but there were some significant mistakes made when I purchased three devices at this store last Friday, May 14, 2021. I wont go into describing the mistakes, though. I appreciate reviews written by others. So, I will contribute a review here. Since last Friday, two questions have kept coming to my mind: #1 Would I ever come back to this store if I needed anything from T-Mobile? and #2 Would I ever recommend this particular store to anyone I know? The answer to both of those questions is no. I have been a T-Mobile customer for about 20 years. I have extensive experience with various T-Mobile stores and Customer Service Representatives. So, my opinion is not based on limited experience. To be kind, I will say that I believe that the employee who initially helped me did the very best he could with his skills and what knowledge he had. Also, the manager, who helped me the following Monday, May 17, 2021, went out of his way to make things right. Extensive work had to be done over the weekend to my account by the T-Mobile Customer Service Representatives to try and straighten things out. In my opinion, on a positive note, I think that this particular store might appeal to customers who are young and less conservative than I am. My expectations in a professional setting are higher than what I experienced here. This store might also appeal to people who are less detail oriented than me and okay with sorting out significant mistakes. I do believe that the employee who helped me needs to gain more knowledge because of the significant mistakes made by him. I also did feel that he was rushing things quite a bit. Speed is not near as important as accuracy. No one likes negative feedback. I certainly dont want to cause anyone to feel bad. I mainly feel compelled to write a review for the benefit of other potential customers...and maybe this review will help raise the standard at this store? Again, these two questions keep coming to my mind: #1 Would I ever come back to this store if I needed anything from T-Mobile? and #2 Would I ever recommend this particular store to anyone I know? No, I would not.

I came face to face with a nightmare this week! We have 8 phone lines in our family plan and I needed to upgrade 6 of the phones. With 3 teenagers, everyone on the go and people using the plan ranging from age 15-90 I was not really excited to go climb that mountain.I have been to all 3 T-mobile stores in my area over the past 5 years. I decided to go to the American Fork location this time simply because Chloé helped me so well last time I was there.Long story short- she turned the nightmare into a great experience and actually saved me money and time in the process by finding the best plan and upgrades for our family. Wasnt sure how things would be since T-Mobile and Sprint merged. They send e-mails to existing customers about deals they are offering then come to find out the deal is really for new customers only. I understand businesses wanting to grow by adding new customers but what about existing and loyal customers? I left Direct TV for that reason. Maybe time to start shopping cell phone companies. Stop sending me e-mails that dont apply to me as an existing customer. Start respecting loyalty.

Too make a long story short the customer service reps on the phone were of no help and I was on my way to Verizon to switch carriers. I was at the point I didn’t want t mobile to receive a single dollar from me ever again. But I decided to stop at my American fork store just to see if they could be of some assistance. Ty one of the reps at my store was amazing. He went above and beyond to help me and save me as a customer. He heard what was going on and knew exactly what to do! He created a customer for life. I made the switch to T-Mobile, since Verizon’s customer service vanished since Covid-19. I went into the American Fork store and had Ty help me make the change. He was excellent to work with. He was very thorough and made sure I understood every detail. I had issues switching out one of my phones due to an iCloud ID error. After much frustration trying to solve the problem at home, I went back into the store. Ty spent almost two hours getting the problem fixed, which was a huge relief. This was definitely the level of service I was looking for.
I went in to obtain a replacement SIM card. The store was very busy yet they were able to accommodate my needs professionally and in a very acceptable time frame.
I never have left a review, but I had such a poor and very underwhelming experience to say the least. The employees never introduced themselves on both occasions that I have gone in to get my phone plan set up. The original guy that helped us was there today, and he didn’t even attempt to come and help us. They were all very were cold and uninviting. Not once did they try and make small talk, or educate us about our new phone plan. It genuinely felt like they were miserable and it gave the entire atmosphere that vibe. It definitely didn’t make it exciting for us to be switching from Verizon to T-mobile.

A shout out to Thomas, Blake A, and Ty at the AF Tmobile store. You guys are awesome and very customer oriented!! Last night we went to get a new S20 phone. The PG store did not have one in inventory and found one at AF for us. The AF Tmobile associates were all so kind and helpful. Thomas was quick to get my old phone contents transferred over, installed my Screensaver and helped me find a new case. We ran into an issue when my text messages did not transfer over. My S7 technology was too old and not compatible with the new S20. Thomas apologized after several attempts and informed me my messages would not transfer over. As I looked at my old phone, I realized I would loose the text messages from both of my parents who have both passed away in the last 2 years. Memories, pictures,encouragement, laughs.....all would be gone. As I took a moment to accept this, tears began to flow. Even behind my Covid mask, Thomas could see how sad I was. He asked for my phone and he and Manager Blake tried for the next hour to transfer my messages. Everything they tried could not work. I was going to screen shot the most important ones when associate Ty even tried to back them up from Google and then save them as a PDF to my sim card. I confidently can say they tried everything. In the end, nothing worked. But I am so grateful for their patience, persistence, and help. Find closure for your messages and memories if you have an older phone.

Ive been there several times and this guys are great,They are gentle and they know how to treat customers. They listen to our needs and they seem to be interested on what we want and not just selling things. I live in salt lake and I always prefer to go there to get my phones, plans, cases, speakers or anything I may need
The sales rep that helped us (Brayden) was very helpful and courteous. He did a great job of getting my wife’s new phone transferred over.However, another rep (Blake) was quite arrogant and clearly thinks he’s a know-it-all. The way he was talking to people was ridiculous to watch and hear. It’s like he was making it a point to make others feel stupid to make himself seem “oh so cool”.Shout out to Brayden for his professionalism and courtesy!

Great experience at this American fork location. Ive had several issues at another local store, which most were understandable except for the last one. I turned in my phone after upgrading but it gotwas never credited to my account and I paid $220 to pay off that phone. The store never found it, and then claimed they sent it into T-Mobile. T-Mobile never received it and therefore didnt credit my account. after that experience I decided to go over to the American fork store as I used to go to that store before and never had any problems other than it was really busy. With the other stores that are open nearby now its not as busy and the customer service was excellent. Gabby was really awesome with her help and showed me some features on my new phone that I didnt know existed. I will continue going back to this location.

Very frustrated with my experience with T-Mobile today! I started at this location (American Fork) Ailey to get pricing, where I was told that my iPhone 7+ was worth a $500 trade in towards the 11 Pro Max. I specifically asked if there were any stipulations with this offer and was told that there were none. After leaving the store excited with this information, I later returned to another location (Orem) to purchase my new phone. After sitting there for over an hour waiting to be added as an “authorized user” on my parents account, I was informed that I would need to add another line to be eligible for the $500 trade in offer. Thank you American Fork location for giving me false information and wasting my valuable time today for absolutely no success. I will be taking my business elsewhere and suggest that no one else wastes their time dealing with these sales people who are more worried about making money than being honest and making their costumers happy.
I went up to Utah for the holidays and decided to change my carrier from AT&Terrible to T-Mobile. I worked with Ty, who helped me transfer my number, get me a new phone, walk through the entire transition (I’ve been with the other company since they were the only ones that seemed to sell iPhones)...and it has been great. Ty was super enthusiastic, took pride and pleasure in explaining the benefits I would receive. My bill has been cut in half, the service feels the same, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Ty!

This store was amazing to work with. Anna bent over backwards to do everything she could for us before we left. I would highly recommend this store. Bought 3 new cellphones based on suggestions from employees at this store. They dont work- drop calls, wont connect to the network, decide to be silenced and wont let the ringer or notifications turn on. Went to the store this evening and was told that it was my problem and my only option was to buy 3 more phones. The employee was rude and unhelpful, but it also sounded like the company policy is to not help the customer.
4 years ago I decided to try t mobile service and I will always regretted, at that time they had a promotion to move to t mobile and the promotion said that you can try their service for 1 month I even ask them to check if they have good service in the area that I live and they told me yes, the issue was that their coverage was terrible and we where never able to use the phones so we return the devices and got our money back in full (2 lines 2 phones) 5 months after I got a collection agency letter saying that we owe them for the service, at that point I paid them to forget about it since then they keep reporting on my credit so I call their customer service so they can give a letter telling that I dont owe them anything and at this point they tell me that they dont have history of my account (847839416) I am so frustrated with not only for reporting negatively without a reason but for also not be willing to help. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE THEIR COVERAGE IS BAD.

Had a great experience previously when attempting to add a line. Went in for help with account questions and got the brush off. Not that they were busy, one employee helping a customer, two standing around.

Because the guy who helped me Did everything wrong and sent me On a goose Chase for about 9 hours and then told me that my phone was network locked when it was a T-Mobile phone and told me it was a paperweight! These guys are so sales driven. They push you till your breaking point on getting extra accessories that I dont even need or would even use. It took 15 mins of listening to pitches to be able to buy my phone. Which is what I told the person I wanted to do today. Horrible Horrible customer service. They treat you like a sell and money and if your not going to make them money, they just dont care to help you at all!!! Avoid this store!! I go to Highland T-Mobile. They are very personable and friendly. I feel like family their. They are my every needs store!!

While the sales associate was very helpful, I have to say the corporate stores, such as this, are not where I need to go for help. It appears they never were trained to ask the right questions when a person walks through their doors. I was there to see what was available, and was shown, but not with the purpose to sell. Training is lacking. I definitely dont blame the person I spoke with. I blame either the manager or his manager...
Braxton is the man! Ive been trying to work out an issue with an old account. I was tossed back and forth between stores and calling in to their customer service until he helped me out. He knows a lot and is definitely the guy to go to if you are looking to get a phone, change your account, or anything else. What a nightmare. We worked with Gabby. She couldnt keep her story straight. We went in to get 2 additional lines. She told us it would be $10 per line and we would get 2 free phones. We selected the phones and while we were waiting for her to gret the phones.. she came back and told us it was going to be $20 per line. We must have been in there 2 hours. We were supposed to get free Netflix. She didnt tell us that until we asked. This should have taken 20 minutes and ended up being 2 hours. It was waaaaay more complicated than it needed to be
The American Fork locate has staff members that are friendly and knowledgeable. This is the only location I go to.
It’s extremely annoying when the hours online say they’re open on a Sunday and then you get to the store and the hours on the window say they’re closed. Should fix the hours online to match what’s actually right.
Very unhelpful. We went in at 7:15 and the girl just kept mentioning how she couldn’t finish this and couldn’t finish that because they were “closing soon” when they didn’t close for another 45 minutes. I get that they want to be done right at closing time, but at least be helpful up until that point or just close at 7.

Let me premise this with my bias ... I love t-mobile, I love their service, I love their customer care, I love their plans ... as a matter of fact I have shopped several of the t-mobile stores and have walked away a happy clam. But! The American Fork store leaves a lot to be desired. The store manager lies out of his teeth (for example last week he claimed that t-mobile wouldnt have any sales this holiday season so we should just buy a phone right then, and then this week [during a sale period] he claims that there will not be any other sales for Thanksgiving weekend ... even though hours before we contacted t-mobile via phone and they told us that a new sale would roll out on Sunday) he is unwilling to help with service issues, we had to take our service issue to the customer service phones to get resolved, and he tries to sell frivolous things (presumably for the commission, such as a full coverage insurance plan on a 3 year old phone!).My advice ... skip the AF store and go up to the Salt Lake Valley to find a better store ... such a disappointment AF.

My husband and I have been to this t-mobile location at least 10 times trying to claim a refund from this company. Each time we have printed proof that they would in our future bill receive this. We still to this day have not. And it has been 3 months since that time. I have had T-Mobiles service since my first phone. I have appreciated doing business with them, but with this location I feel very displeased and am actually reconsidering my phone company for the first time. Telling us they would give us a refund not just by word of mouth but by paper, and not doing it to me is just the same thing as stealing in my opinion. From a mistake made on your companies part in the first place. I love T-mobile, but I do not think I will enter this store an 11th time.
I have continued to have issues with my current phone. I have been a customer for 10 years and I have paid for insurance on my phone. I went into the store and was explaining that the new phone had the same issues as the one that was replaced. Next thing I know the guy tells me that I came in with an agenda. He was correct, as in wanting a phone the actually worked and was not a piece of crap. They offered an inferior phone, at which point their agenda became clear. Screw your customer.....

Wow. Walking into this store was pointless. I am a Verizon customer and was ready to switch to T-Mobile. I told this to the employee. He was kind and smiled but was not helpful in any way. Assuming they make commission, I left the store and will return to another location where another employee may be more deserving.
Terrible service the girl that helped us answered the phone twice while she was helping us and talked to her boyfriend. Also told us they had to leave for top golf and to come back Monday. NO STARS!!!!!!
I cant believe that i have to write a negative review. I always am willing to give businesses a benefit of doubt. Do not go to this t mobile branch and id even recommend not changing to their phone service. Their store manager Clint and employees have made claims and actively lie to customer to push their sells. When confronted they lie and cover up, when customer support is contacted they actively tell you that its your fault for believing their claims. If there was a way to post recordings of their customer support stating that their sells teams are encouraged to push the sales at all costs i would post them here for everyone to know about.I ask for anyone considering changing to just people look into their service make an educated decision about changing, do not trust anyone involved with this branch or phone service.

I have been with T-mobile now for 7 years and I love the service I get when I walk in. My only problem is that they are super pushy to get you buy extras on your account that they break down for 24 months. They are paid on commission so just be careful knowing that when you go in!
