Used to be a good place to get games but everything is digital now. I just never have a reason to go in there anymore. Its just over priced and less convenient than it used to be. Last time I was in (over 11 months now) the chick didnt even know what a flight stick or flight simulator was. Pointless store now a days.

I spoke with an associate over the phone who told me to bring in my defective xbox one controller and she would return it and let me switch out the controller for another one no matter the warranty on it or not. I have this all on audio recording, when my husband took the controller with the box almost new back up to the store. The assistant manager claimed that he didnt care what the associate said, he will not allow her to exchange out the product since I didnt buy a warranty. Mind you, I have it on recording that she stated she would just return it and do an exchange for a defective remote controller.... the way this whole situation was handled by the store assistant manager was enough for me.... we will never return, or do business with any gamestop.

Nice young man working phones and customers by himself. He was working hard, and was still so polite.

I am rating this store 3 stars because their prices are high for the merchandise they sell. There are other places online that are cheaper and get the same quality of merchandise

Even though there is social distancing going on the employees are working hard to help the customers. The sign says 5 people maximum at a time but they are unable to enforce it because they are so busy. The people who were waiting in line were all very respectful of each other and the staff. Despite being overwhelmed with multiple customers the staff kept calm, was respectful, and did their best to ensure Speedy service so people could go on their way.

Waited in line, with product in my hand, for 25 minutes. Employee clearly saw what I had. Finally get the counter and before I can even set it down he tells theyre out. Couldnt he have saved me 25 minutes when looking dead at what I had in my hand and just said, sir we are currently out of stock? I have bought EVERY game that I own, since the PS2 here. I will never return. No apology or anything from the employee. It wont let me give 0 stars.

Very nice, very friendly service. Riley had a very good attitude and was super helpful. I was down because I couldn’t get my preordered copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Called the store and Riley was able to help me out.

My only issue recently is that they dont always stick to their return policy, especially when Ive bought two controllers that have been defective and wanted the credit towards a different selection the same day within an hour but they would only offer an exact replacement. I bought two different Blue Sport Xbox One controllers that were defective and decided I just wanted to upgrade to the Elite Series 2, however they wouldnt give me the full price as a credit, only the trade in price. Otherwise I appreciate their prices and selection in most circumstances.

Great place to bring the kids to pick out video games. They have good prices on used games and accessories also one of the few places that will buy back your old games and accessories for cash or store credit. I really like this store. I just hope they can stay afloat and not have to close their doors. But I see it coming. I reccomend you stop in and check them out.

I absolutely love this store Im not a gamer Im old school I was into sports and running outdoors but Im raising my oldest granddaughter shes 11 and she has been gaming since she was able to talk so I had to ask them a lot of questions and they are extremely patient and will answer and it doesnt care they dont rush me they are excellent people there and I wont go anywhere else.

My Son is 9 years old with Autism. This GameStop had a Mario kart tournament yesterday 7-20-19, he played and did great! He got 4th and won 7 games, we were so proud of him. Plus he was the youngest player. Every person in that room was cheering him on yelling “Go Levi”! He was so happy and excited! I want to thank Billy so much for putting this on! He was so nice to Levi always telling him “Good Job” and “You Got This”, and explaining the bracket to him and us! Thank you Billy for putting a smile on our sons face and letting us cheer him on! ❤️

The staff is really nice. Probably the best option left in Anderson to buy anything gaming related. Wont get into the negative, as Everyone knows the downsides to Gamestop as a company.

Parking lot requires careful navigation as its at the end of a strip mall off a busy business highway with a median. Brightly lit and clean, your standard GameStop store!

I went in on Xmas Eve last minute in a rush and this girl Ashley, knew everything I needed and helped with every question I asked just as quickly as I asked. My fiance will have his Xmas present on time bc of her. Shes the perfect person we like to help us. Give the girl a raise!!❤️

Knowledgeable staff. Everything games. All the time. If I do not go digital I use them to pre-order and for pre-owned. Only thing Im not fond of is someone always approaching me like a car salesman. Gamers know what they want usually and will ask if they need help. Doesnt affect rating as they are just doing their job. Some people may need the face to face approach.

Wait time is almost non existent, Cashiers are cool.

They have a good selection of games and decent prices on used games but their trade in and buying prices suck! For instance there has been a few times including today that I’ve bought a game from them for $35 to $40 bucks and not long after go back to trade it in for something else and they offer me $7 for that game I bought for $40. To me that’s a greedy profit margin! They want to buy games from people for bottom bottom dollar then sell them for full price. Think about your customers for once!

Stood in line for 45 minutes for the spider man ps4 bundle there wasnt to many people a head of us. However right before we got to the front they said they were sold out! I really think they had maybe 4 or 5 in the store to begin with. And its a black Friday sale! Expect lines and to sell a lot. Youd think they would have more in stock.

Jade was super friendly and the only factor saving this from a 1 star. Ive preordered twice here now and both times they insist they have nothing for me. Thankfully I was able to scroll through my emails and find the confirmation and they finally gave me what I ordered. Not sure where the disconnect is in their preorder system but someone at gamestop needs to fix it.

I wish I could give it a -000000 because I wanted a new headset because I had a warranty and there out of stock and the employee was extremely rude and he said I have to buy a new headset bc they were not gonna replace it and I asked for them to order a new one and the employee said no

Great place, I like the owner. However on Black Friday I bought a $20 Scooby doo game for my son on his birthday and when he unwrapped it, the game wasnt in it. I was heated. I left immediately to go back to the store. They fixed it on the spot and I left a happy customer. But now I know to check the case before I leave just in case. First time out of a lot of times,and I believe the cashier was new. Thank you game stop for all of your help

I buy games without a ID all the time so why when I visit do they not let a pregnant lady trade her games in. I know why because of it doesnt benefit them they arent willing to help they sold the game to the lady with a expired ID so y cant she trade her games in.YOU ARE PATHETIC

My son is crazy about Gamestop he says he breaths it. And he also gets the pre owned games, but they arent really pre owned to him, they all seem new to him, even though he plays a 2012 gam and he thinks it was made in 2018

I dont enjoy checking out at this store. Its great to be personable with customers, but a 10 minute conversation is a bit much when there are others in line.

Not very good. We shop frequently at Game Stop and Think Geek and we went in to pre-order an item and the guy was no help and stated we could only pre-order online which we knew was a lie. We went to Castleton Think Geek and Game Stop and we were able to pre-order our items and we were told we could have most definitely saved a trip and pre-ordered at this store. Epic fail

Not always the biggest fan of Gamestop given some of the buisness practices, but this one is pretty good. Always enjoyed the staff, both when I go and appreciate the help they give my mom whenever she is there to pick something up for a gift.

This place sucks -- they actually tried to rip me off on my trade in -- then they sent me at least 100 emails about the PS VR and this location only had 1 bundle -- then they tried to charge me $60 for a xbox 1 controller on trade -- the ridiculous part is I have a Gamestop CC and now I will cancel it -- I will buy all my things from online, WalMart, and from Game Exchange -- this place sucks and I believe no one should ever got here and get ripped off

Cheap games, and good clearance prices

I can almost never get reliable information that i specifically need from this gamestop.Is there gonna be an early release for this game?Employee: check back 2 days before it comes out.A few days before it comes out nobody answers the phone.Employee: yeah that game comes out march 2017But the release date was pushed to june 2 months prior to the conversationI went to an early release at the time i was told it was happening the store looked like it was closed. Shutters down and all nobody seemingly in the store or going in the store. Half an hr later 2 employees come out and refuse to let me pick up my game nd they told me everyone came nd got their copies already. I was lied to my face. Nobody was even in the parking lot the whole time.
