Really creamy ice cream. Many snow cone flavors - avalanche is huge! Closed on Monday and Tuesday in winter.

I stopped by today to try their homemade Ice Cream. Gotta say their Butter Pecan was AMAZING!!! Owner is always super nice. Thank you. I’ll be back next time with more people.I will be supporting this amazing local place. Stay safe.

My family and I love this Snowball stand. The quality and quantity of the ice cream is good. I usually cant eat it all. I highly recommend the chocolate peanut butter ice cream! Also, my puppy loves the Puppy snowball.

The ice cream was good but I have some serious concerns about health and safety. It was hard to tell but it looked the person serving us was wearing a mask made out of mesh! I hope that I was wrong as masks such an easy way to protect your costumers and your community...

What a stunning find! The ice cream really is home made. On par with best European ice cream made of natural whole ingredients. Theres a long list of available flavors to choose from. Dark chocolate, chocolate and butter pecan were amazing. Everyone was impressed with theirs so we tried and sampled from one another too :) Keep in mind, please, that the scoops are on the large side here. We didnt try the ices. This is a family operation - a true American business, so you get that personal touch and appreciation of customers satisfaction. Well definitely make the drive here our next chance.

My family and i have been on many different occasions, and always have a great experience! the ice cream is great and of course the snowballs are great! all of the employees are super nice and welcoming whenever we go and they even have puppy treats that my dogs love!!

I come here for the shaved ice. It is dirt cheap, there are like 118 flavors, the service is quick and friendly. I always use the drive though. The small is adequate for an adult and the large is gigantic; I bought it once on accident and could not finish it.My favorite flavor is wedding cake. I have heard their ice cream is very good too but I have never personally tried it.

Weve been going to this location for 11 years this August. Through the name change and reboot to AliGators its only gotten better! We Love to see Mary Ellens familiar face each season and the prices, quality, and service have been consistently amazing! Hi highly recommend!

The young man working there today (8/29/15) was really friendly. The prices are great, the portions are generous, and they have a ton of cool flavors (Shark Attack has a huge gummy shark in the middle of the dessert). And its just a fun atmosphere, with colorful benches and ice cream-shaped trash cans.I had to remove a star because of the CRAZY amount of bees hanging around. I know its not the fault of management - its nature! But, the fact is, it took away from the enjoyment & we left ASAP because of my husbands potentially fatal allergy to bee stings. I really have no idea what they could do to help the problem. Maybe hose down spills more often and remove the nearby flowers? Just be aware of that when you go. But DO go!

They give way more than other place for less money. The Reg. Ice cream is like 2x amount than upscale baskin robbin places and just as good or better. I believe is local source ice cream.

So freaking good! Known about this place for years, but finally took me up until 2 weeks ago to finally make it here. Lets just say I love it so much I have been here 3 times in the past 10 days :P. Only $2 for a really nice sized medium snowball. My favorite so far is the Spiderman

Ice cream is delicious, but the older woman working this evening (9/9/2016) has some of the worst customer service skills Ive seen in Apex. I recommend not slamming your sliding window on waiting customers without acknowledging them. Dont forget, you chose to work this job. Its not forced labor.

Decent quality and friendly service. Dark chocolate ice cream want as chocolatey and rich as Id hoped but was obviously fresh. Kids loved their sno cones and there are tons of flavors and huge portions.

Even better than New Orleans. The ice has the correct texture, and their flavors are not only better, but really creative in the combinations. The owner is a great guy whose mom makes the ice cream (yes homemade and awesome!). The snowballs are great... if in doubt for your first time go with the classic strawberry (and eat it Nawlins style with condensed milk).For NOLA folks who have migrated here. Yes, I loved the old mans place on Harrison Avenue in Lakeview (New Orleans) and Plum Street Snowballs (Uptown New Orleans) and even the Snowball place in Kenner at the intersection of US 61 (Airline Hwy) and Power Blvd (or Williams cannot recall at this point!). I grew up visiting my grandparents in New Orleans, and remember vividly begging to go get snowballs because they were so awesome. The ice was smooth and soft, a distinct difference from typical circus faire. My wife is from Houma, and I spent the majority of my adult life in New Orleans. This place is awesome with a great family friendly environment and fun decorations outside. Looking forward to building great memories with my son (born in NC) and wife. Pretty good. A little pricey. But a ton of flavors and they have ice cream.

Service was really bad. Two of the four items we ordered were incorrect. The shave ice was pretty good.

The snocones were great. They even had a special treat for our pooch. I got a plain shaved ice with no syrup and it was light and fluffy and was perfect for my awful hot flashes lol. The kids had cheesecake and banana and they loved thiers. Also decently priced. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.

I can’t speak for the ice cream. We come for the sno cones! Cheap family treat. I choose dreamcicle and one of the kids always ends up finishing it off. Be prepared to wait 5-15 minutes if you come on a busy summer evening. There’s not a ton of seating and we’ve often seen bees swarming the trash cans but it’s a family favorite so we look beyond those things.

I went to there location yesterday with my family and we had a somewhat big big order that cme up to $22. There were two young guys working at the time and the one that took my order was really nice and patient considering i was being very specific with my order so when he was finished I put a dollar in the tip jar. Later on a girl that was sitting on the bench went up to the other guy and told him I had stolen their tips and he actually came up to me and acused me of stealing that money even though the money was still in the container. I told him all i had done was put a dollar in there but he kept on asking me if i was sure i didnt take it. That honestly ofended me a lot. I work really hard to make my money and i know what it takes to get it plus i have no need to steal specially not tips. I love their icecream but i will defenetly never go back after being trated like that.

Don’t be fooled by the mini golf in the pictures. Sadly disappointed about that one.

Their homemade ice cream is fantastic.

Has fallen to three which sucks but this is business. In short prices increase of 25% and portion has decreased by that much as well. So your net product is 50% less then last year. So for that reason 3 stars and will also be looking at other competitors for the future. Its a shame, but thats business.
