Great manager named Ruthie with some inattentive employees. Ruthie cannot do it all. When the cat is away the mice will play. Kaylie and Maria are great. The guys they have still think they are in high school. Gotta grow up guys and concentrate on the job. Right know this coffeehouse is the motel six of the coffeehouses. These guys would never cut it at Starbucks.

Great coffee! The salted Caramel iced coffee is my go-to! Lots of options, and always willing to customize and adjust to however the customer wants! Great small town shop atmosphere.

I came here a couple years ago, I remember it being delicious but today I had some extra time and came in and the service was awesome. The girl at the front was very patient with me because I had no idea what I wanted. The real star of the show however was my breakfast sandwich!!! Ham, fresh tomato, egg, and cheese on sourdough

One of my two favorite coffee shops here in the high desert. The staff is friendly, sweet and observe the highest standard of customer service. The cozy seating arrangement makes you want to stay for hours! I got when my kid has dance class the next building over. It is my little retreat for the hour. Go! You wont regret it.

Who in the High Desert has not had a Seattle Freeze? If you havent and you like coffee, chocolate and ice cream, you will need to go and experience the famous Seattle Freeze! One sip and youre hooked! Plus, this place has great coffee and wonderful other healthy food options that you cant get anywhere else AND the servers are extremely pleasant! There is also a cozy little patio with a little fountain which is especially enjoyable on Summer evenings. Even if you are a diehard Starbucks fan, give this place a try. You wont be disappointed!

I always get the Seattle Breeze which is always good. My granddaughter had the Chai Tea Latte iced and to me that was really good. They make good drinks.

Always a treat! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They offer a large selection of drinks and have a stocked pastry case. The shop itself is festive and always moving art and helping out local businesses big or small.They have a monthly special menu. Pictured is one of their flavored hot cocoa!

When Indiana Jones was trying to pick which cup was the holy grail he picked the wrong cup. He obviously didn’t see the perks coffeehouse cup behind and a little to the right. The coffee, being brewed on the to of mount Vesuvius, you can almost taste the sweet nectar of the gods. With the espresso being made with tremendous quality, it’s as if Zeus struck with a lighting to give you that extra boost to start your day. The customer service is unlike any other. You are always greeted with a smile and this is my favorite way to start the adventures of a new day.

I used to love this place but it seems its gone a bit downhill. I could barely tell that there was any coffee in my drink, The taste wasnt all there, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, yet had slow service.

Best coffee shop ever!!!! Always make it they way I want it, even if they have to redo the whole drink. I am picky lol plus they make amazing breakfast sandwiches. Num num plus I can call it all Im so Im not late for work. Last but not least their staff is always amazing!!!! Love this place!

Fantastic little spot. We stopped here for a cappuccino after we got cannons. I loved the vibe of the place, very old school cool.

After seeing all the positive reviews I was excited to give this place a try but I was so disappointed. The staff was rude and my coffee was watered down and it tasted horrible. The pastries I got where excellent just wish the coffee wasn’t so bad.

Ive gone here a few times now after being introduced to the Seattle Freeze! Its like a cinnamon roll coffee shake and its so good! Definitely worth a shot. Just be careful as their large cup is a bit flimsy.

Not to please. Very busy only one person working. Overwhelmed made several mistakes on orders. Must have been a bed day. My smoothie was watery. Seattle freeze was delicious as always.

Pastries and coffee, with a tv for viewing pleasure, or, if reading and relaxing is more your speed, theres adequate room and seating to do so, indoor and out. They also have a jumbo checkers set on one of their tables! The employees were kind and cool.

Good options, but great black coffee

I was meeting a friend for coffee and I decided on this place since neither one of us had been. I checked the reviews and it seemed nice, so figured why not. I am so glad we chose One of Lifes Perks Coffee House. The employees were Awesome and the coffee is Delicious. The employees attitudes, desire to get your drink Right, and customer service was above and beyond. The overall feel and comfort you get here is Amazing. My friend and I sat here an hour just talking and drinking our hot coffee/tea, we actually lost track of time. They also have an outdoor seating area as well, which is cute and relaxing. I definitely will be coming back and bringing more friends.****What are your hours? I showed up at 8pm & its closed with employees outside goofing around.

Never knew there was such a good hidden gem in my home town.. its hidden off the outer part of hwy 18. I am so glad i stopped it.. the coffee was delicious i have the red eye because i love strong coffee, the staff was friendly the menu is creative and i am sure everything is great. They offer paint night with coffee.. great date night idea for the desert peeps.!!

Lovely little place, great coffee, pastries and bagels. My daughters like it and ask to go all of the time. Cheaper prices than Starbucks, plus its a small business so theres automatically a good feel.

Very accommodating and friendly shop. Their capachino is a 12 Oz which in spite of their efforts made my coffee too milky for my tastes but this was solved by giving me a 3 and then a 4 shot cap until it was just right. Could be a new thing for me... but a lot of caffeine! Breakfast sandwich was delicious. Very friendly, even wanted to meet the dogs who were invited to hang out on the outside patio.

Whenever my friends and I walk over to grab a drink or something to eat between dance classes the employees are always there with a smile on there face. Its really awesome because they take the time to learn your name and your drink, and whenever we go they always ask us how our day is going and how dance is going.

The staff here are polite and friendly. They have many options to choose from to customize to your liking. The ambiance is cozy.

This is my second time coming to One of Lifes Perks and I am enjoying it. The coffee is really wonderful and the staff is so friendly. My husband and I came to this little treasure for the first time for our 11th year anniversary a few days ago and I was instantly hooked. They are about community and host community events. You have to try it out for yourself to know what I am talking about.

Ive been coming here for about 8 years and always love it. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and even the customers tend to be nice. I now live 20 minutes away and still stop by every time I get a chance.

Ok so my daughter turned me on to this drive up coffee shop knowing Im an anti- Starbucks kinda guy after many in the dark years as an avid buckers fan. I was impressed both by the employees and the coffee, and the selection. Located on the south end of town in the parking lot of Cal Ranch, its easy to miss but search will be worth it when you shop their coffee. They use real beams too that dont contain chemicals and additives like the big corps do. The price is good and the taste great, dont miss this place.

Great place to sit and drink a hot beverage. Enjoy a local Danish or cinnamon roll from Old Town Bakery, or grab a quick sandwich (breakfast for lunch).Enjoy some WiFi while working on a school project or play checkers with your kiddo.

Amazing coffee and teas made by an awesome staff! This is the only place you can get a Seattle Freeze. If youre lactose intolerant they have dairy substitutes. Their Perks Panini is crave worthy. They really go the extra mile for customers! I love this place!

A++ for friendly and chill atmosphere. Also fresh baked goods! ❤ Coffee snobs, this is not your spot, but for the rest of us it was great, and alternatives to dairy creamers are plentiful. We were passing through, and will be back for sure on future road trips!

I hve bkeen a customer of this establishment since b4 the gentlman owner sold his business, when he was located on Hesperia Rd. in Victorville abt 20yrs ago.Whn i visited this coffee shop today,the staff was rude and unprofessional.I will no longer patronize this establishment and this location requires a new store manager because the one that is there currently is lack-luster at best.I will spend my hard earned cash elsewhere for coffee.

Some of the best coffee in the high desert, their espresso is second to none. Friendly staff, decent atmosphere.

The barista working there when I went didnt know what a tea latte was. She put espresso in it along with the tea. I could tell she was annoyed when I told her it wasnt right, as she said that if I dont want espresso in it, then I dont want a latte. Ive never had a problem ordering a tea latte at any other coffee shop before (not just Starbucks but other small, local coffee shops, too). I know tea lattes arent a new thing, as Ive been getting them at coffee shops all over California for 5 years.
