I have bought, sold, and traded cars with them since I turned 18 NEVER one time had a problem, but I have also taken cars not purchased from them up there to be fixed always seem to have fair prices and do good work. Funny nice people to me. Any car, new or not can have problems no one knows how the person before took care of it but all in all Good place.
We purchased an old Ford work truck from Frankie for $1800 and used it for three years before it needed any kind of repairs. There wasnt a big selection to choose from, but all the vehicles they had seemed to be clean and well maintained. Would do business with them again in the future.
The owner Greg was and salesperson Greg. Was very helpful and kind, but the owners mother who is the secretary and does all paperwork . Has to be the most unprofessional person I have ever met. She was never on time not once to meet us about a car . And them lied straight too mine and my husband faces and proceeded to yell and cuss at us when we called her lies . We got our money back that we had put down on car and left. ! I suggest to never go there unless u like being lied to and treated unkindly.
I bought a used car for my 16 yr old daughter on 2-19-09 and was told that they checked it from top to bottom and it would be a reliable car for her. We drove it a few times, but not far and it ran ok. She could not get her license till April and the Friday that she got them, that evening she went to go to Asheboro to visit a friend and went out on Hwy 220 and it spend up to around 85 mph and she could not get it to slow down, but finally she got it to slow down and stop. When she got it stopped and cut it off, she called us hysterical. She just knew she was going to die ! We are lucky that she did not die, or hit someone and kill them. When we got there and checked the car, there was not even an oil stick !! It was broken off inside the motor. Id not checked, trusting Asheboro Auto Sales guys and it had mostly sat in the driveway, waiting on her to become a legal driver. We put less than 100 miles on this car.It has not cranked since and its now 5-24. We have had two machanics checkit out and they both said that the car had been ran hot before we got it, because you could smell it in the water and they had to know it was about to lock up, because thats why the pushed us to look at that one and thats exactly what it did- lock up. Its been crystalized inside. You cant do that in a short amount of time and not driving a car !So now we are out of $1500 and she has nothing to drive. Please be ware of these scam artists. Be prepared to have it checked out, before you buy it and lay down the cash for them, like we did. We gave them every penny that we had and could borrow and now we have nothing !Its going to cost way more than the cars worth to replace the motor and we dont have two dimes to rub together to get it fixed. We live on a part time job and she had gotten a job too and now cant go to work.I hope the money they scammed out of us, does well for them and makes their life happy.Im glad that they can sleep at night knowing that they steal money from hard working people, who worked for the money that they take from them.
