I picked Xpertech after a google search of Honda service locations in Asheville. My wife and I were traveling, and we needed an oil change for our CR-V. Xpertech worked us into their days schedule after I walked in at 8 a.m. I had a chance to observe their operation for about two hours, and I could tell this was a well-run, customer-friendly shop with an outstanding work ethic. Kevin, the owner, is constantly on the move, and he really knows his stuff. Made a point of updating me on progress of my work, even as he was handling other customers, taking calls, instructing staff and mechanics, and seeming to be everywhere at once. Gave a great impression of a true car guy. He made a point of letting me know of additional filters needing to be changed and tires that probably would need to be replaced in a couple of months. The shops work was excellent and very fairly priced. As I told them when I had paid and was ready to leave, if I lived in Asheville, they would get all my work. A great small business, and I highly recommend.

Fabulous experience! Excellent repair work, very fair pricing, and great customer service. My truck handles so much better now. Price for replacing inner and outer tie rods was half the price quoted for just outer tie rods at another place. I’ll definitely be getting all of my service done here from now on. We were driving from SC to Pittsburgh after a family holiday, when my husbands truck started to throw codes and lose power. After shutting it off and starting it numerous times we were able to limp it into the Asheville Ford dealership. Ford told us that it would be a week+ before they could get it in and wouldnt even hook it up to their handheld diagnostics to let us know what the codes were until then. The only good thing they did for us was tell us we could try Xpertech and that proved to be the best experience either my husband or I remember having with a car repair.We limped the truck over to Xpertech, again having to pull over and shut it down often, and upon arrival they diagnosed it within 5 mins as a throttle body issue. They ordered the part for us and to get our family back on the road ASAP, one of their service managers drove to Ford to pick it up to save time waiting on it to be delivered. While this occurred, the owner drove us and our small children to a coffee shop to wait for the repair to be completed. 2 hrs later, a tech picked us up at the coffee shop while he was doing a test drive on our repaired truck.We cant say enough good things about Xpertech and the amazing people who work there!

This place is wonderful. I never feel like Im being taken advantage of because Im a woman, they always do their best to be accommodating with time constraints, and are just generally really nice. Kevin, the owner, is always there and able to answer your questions. I always speak with Ben and he always finds a way to be honest yet funny when he calls with the bad news. Stop looking elsewhere. My friends have used this place several times, and Ive used them once. I do almost all my own repair, as well as repair my friends vehicles. When the repair is beyond my capabilities this is the ONLY shop i can recommend, 100% of the time, without exception. They are always busy, and for good reason! Xpertec put new pads and rotors on last week as well as a 60000 mile service. While driving home I though I felt a pulsing type feeling in the brake pedal. After giving it a few days I asked Kevin to take a look at it. The rotors were out of round (Im not a mechanic but I think that describes it) and even after several days had not been broken in. Today Kevin not only had new pads and rotors put on but also put on an upgraded brand. I trust Kevins honesty and will always come back to Xpertec. Thank you to the mechanics and Kevin.

I was going through Asheville when my car started acting up. They immediate took it in, called with updates, sent pictures over text, and I was back in less than 2 hours with 4 new tires, new front brakes, and a diagnostic on a sound that had been there for a while, all for less than I would normally pay for just the tires. Overall wonderful and quick experience!!

Very nice experience at Xpertech! I found Xpertech through a recommendation on Nextdoor social media website. My 2005 Lexus RX330 had a problem with the radiator and needed replacement. I towed it to X and the communication with Ben was clear and concise with pricing before the job started. I compared pricing with the dealership, in addition to other recommendations on Nextdoor, and found X to be more reasonably priced.The cost was important to me because this is the first time I have ever owned a vehicle with 165,000 miles. It was either I find a good, honest, reliable mechanic and keep the car I LOVED or sell it and buy something newer. So happy I found Xpertech! Now, I have high hopes for my car!.So a month after my radiator replacement, it was time for a major maintenance. I needed the timing belt and water pump changed, along with transmission drain/fill, oil change, 3 old belts replaced, engine filter, etc. Kevin and his team completed the job in in a very timely fashion, around 6 hours and, again, at a great price! I dropped it off the night before my appointment and it was ready by 1:15 the next afternoon!Keep up the good work Xpertech!

These people are great! I feel like I can trust them, and they do very high quality work. Their prices are reasonable, though not the cheapest. Their diagnostics are thorough. I feel in this case you get what you pay for: skill, honesty and good precise work. Everyone there is respectful and kind, and I’ve never felt like someone was talking down to me for being a woman. Far and away the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. My car was due for inspection but failing for a check engine light. I had taken it elsewhere initially and was quoted a significantly higher price. They told me it was a ways out to make an appointment.. but when the owner overheard it was my brakes he chased me out to drive it and check to see if it was an emergency... they where metal to metal in the back.. he took my truck in right then.I am very thankful Ill be driving safe now.

These guys are awesome! I am from out of town and came to this area to buy a car, I wanted an independent mechanic shop to look it over before the purchase, so I took it to them based on their good reviews. I was not disappointed, they were very honest and objective, and they took me back and pointed things out for me while it was on the lift. Even as I talked to customers in the waiting room, they said these guys were fantastic, one guy said he had been going to them for years. I highly recommend!
