I ordered cake for my best friends birthday. The lady in the bakery department was very accommodating, from ordering, picking up and checking out at the service desk. Ive been a customer at this store ever since I can remember. We ordered cake in every friends birthdays and any gatherings. Cake was so yummy! We all enjoyed! 💕🎈🎂🎈💕 Thank you Giant Eagle!

Always clean and inviting. The staff are always pleasant, friendly and professional. I personally find the selection can be limited and the prices are a little higher than some other places. Overall a nice place to shop.The pharmacy is great. Always treated well, great hours and competitive prices. They are my preferred pharmacy, especially using GoodRx.

This is one of the very best Giant Eagles Ive ever been to, so quaint and welcoming felt like I was in a grocery store as a kid in the 70s! Wow just love it! Please never change it!

In Ashtabula. Much better than Geneva Giant Eagle. Had many more selections of fruit and vegetables. Most of shelves were stocked. Plenty of checkout lines open so you did not have to wait.

Its not a bad place to shop but it smells like death when you walk in...its horrible...I dont know if its from the fish or the whole meat department, but wow...they need to do something about that...

Nice atmosphere but prices a little high on some things

It’s so expensive, but most supermarkets are now, sales usually seem to save you much as I believe they raise the prices of many of the items during the sale, like the bogo meat deals appear to cost almost double the price you would usually pay for the same item and usually a smaller package.

The harbor location is the absolute best. In and out as fast as can be. I hate to give them 5 stars because I worry others will learn about this well hidden secret in Ashtabula County.

We really like going to Ashtabula Giant Eagle. Much cleaner and the staff are very friendly. We have a giant eagle in our town but enjoy going to the one in Ashtabula.

They usually have whatever you cant find at Walmart. Possibly a little more expensive, but Worth getting away from the aggravation of Walmart. 🤦😏

The curbside service is excellent at Ashtabula giant eagle. The person picking the groceries texted to tell me they didnt have an item and what I want to replace it with. Had to wait maybe 10 minutes once I let them know I was there . Definitely use again.

I would recommend that when you are out of a product and its unavailable to put a note in that particular area telling why so that you dont go looking to find a person that works there to ask him if they have any in the back. For example coffee mate original

Someone in the bakery tried to give extremely dried out old pepperoni rolls to my child. what a great way to ruin my sons birthday.

EDIT: LOOK AT THAT CHICKEN. Please hire a meat cutter and wrapper that have a bloody clue what they are doing. ATTENTION GE STAFF: Please remove the displays in the main aisle at the back of the store by the meat. This is totally ridiculous people are CONSTANTLY HITTING MY KID WITH THEIR CARTS. Imagine how much room there would be if you just let the aisle be an aisle. They have a box of fireball in the liquor store stay away from that stuff. Otherwise looks like they cut the meat with a grenade. Ok wine selection, beer not so much. The gluten free food section is hidden in the back of the store. Hilariously they put a bunch of hostess treats right next to it.

Pharmacy is great, some of the store staff is a bit cold but its understandable with how busy they always are. recommend, they usually have more varieties of frozen items than Walmart

Giant Eagle has a good variety if you shop with your Giant Eagle card you can get some good deals other than that they are a bit pricey on some things but the stores are well-stocked and the staff is friendly

I went in the ashtabula giant eagle this morning looking for vernors. I only drink vernors due to having crohns disease. I approached Liz at the service desk, because they only had one 12 pack of vernors on the shelf and running a sale of 3 for 13. Explaining my situation, she immediately jumped into action, this wonderful soul loaded up my cart with enough vernors to get me through the week and gave me sales price for it all! Giant eagle needs more Lizs! Thank you, you are truly a life saver!!!

Their checkout lines are so small. Hope you dont buy a cart full because you WILL NEED a second cart so that you can put groceries in while youre still unloading your only cart. Conveyor belts are beyond small.

Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Theres only one lady that wears her mask on her chin and doesnt cover her mouth and nose. Everytime I see her shes like that. Other then her everyones compliant and i have no other complaints

Hey its giant eagle if they dont have it you dont need it. Just takes a while to figure out where stuff is . If not ask they dont seem like they dont mind. Well worth extra money

I had a curbside pickup. I was communicated with for everything that was in question.

Very clean. All employees Covid compliance. Interaction with employees brief, pleasant and informative. Though laid out very nicely, a very few parts are awkward, and I spent an extra minute shopping. But thats really no biggie.

Above and beyond in customer service and cleanliness! They go above and beyond! Will NOT be going back to Walmart

Best Giant Eagle I have ever been inside

Generally well run. Very good sales items. The odd exception is the angry, vulgar, thug corporate music often turned up loud that punches everyone in the face. Stores used to be peaceful. Groceries must have good taste.

Prices are reasonable, shelves were well stocked and the liquor store inside had a nice supply. Mens bathroom and store floor were dirty and unkempt, looks like they havent been done in quite some time. The fresh produce was a hit or miss, tomatos, onion and apples looked good, but most of the micro greens and lettuce did not. You bag your own groceries and the bags giant eagle supplys is of the cheapest material, many of the bags were ripping from the bottom with only a few items.

Did an online pickup order...got home and half our stuff was missing... called and they said they found our other stuff... made another trip... got home and STILL didn’t get all of our stuff... called and they said they found our other stuff and would deliver it. Waited hours.

I just went in to use the coinstar to cash in my change jar at 8:30pm. The store is open until 9pm after I was finished using the machine I took the voucher to the customer service counter. There was nobody at the counter aanager or a cashier Im not sure which opened the office door and said we cant cash that in tonight we already shut the register down I asked why she didnt say so before I put the change into the machine ? She responded well I didnt know you were using it. Then how did you know I needed to cash in the voucher!? Not only that there were multiple cashiers at the checkout with no customers who could have said something or how bout shut the machine off or if you are supposed to be open till 9 stay open till 9! Then after telling the woman that it was the gas money I needed for work the following day she replied with not my problem! Thanks lady appreciate it I will just call off and miss out on a days pay. Not only that but the voucher is only redeemable the day its printed

Best bakery in the area. Wonderful meats. They have their own butcher so meat is not frozen prepackaged stuff.

Always clean and well-lit, good product availability. Prices can be a bit high, but always a lot of deals available if you look.

Definitely a clean store. It has changed a lot especially in just the past 5 years. The asliways are definitely too loaded with displays jamming them up, especially when its busy. Overall friendly staff, but a bit pricey. They do have good sales, and their gift card perks are a plus.
