My husband purched lumber for a new deck at the Mississippi location in May. Half of our order was delivered June 16!! We were told that they were having trouble with their deliveries. A polite man then called me the next day to let me know that our remaining lumber would be delivered Monday, June 19th and not Saturday bedause that day was already full. I waited all Monday and no call about lumber delivery came. I called the Mississippi store who let me know that my lumber had been delivered to the I-70 and Tower and gave me their number to call and check the status. I called them and they told me that the short of it was that the notes do say we should have been delivered our lumber this day, but someone didnt do their job right and had us scheduled for Wednesday, so the lumber would not be delivered. I let them know we were not available Tuesday or Wednesday. I asked that it be delivered Friday, June 23 because we would be home. The man I was speaking with told me that his manager would call me Wednesday to go over everything and that our lumber would be delivered first thing on Friday. I never got a call Wednesday, or ever from his manager! I called the store at 10 am on June 23 because there was still no lumber delivery. I was told that the delivery driver does not get in until 1 and then that our lumber would be delivered first. So I called again at 3:30 when there was still no lumber and was told by the manager on duty that he wpuld look into what was going on and would call me back soon. At 5 I got a call from him and all he knew was that they had the wrong truck and and the delivery company would not deliver it. He was working with the pro-desk supervisor and would call me in 5 minutes. Now it is 5:45 and no call back and no lumber!!!! I have an idea!! Get a couple employees, get one of those fancy rent me by the hour trucks and load my 46 pieces of lumber in it and drive it to my house!!!!!!! I would never recomend using Home Depot for large purchases or any delivery!!!! I wouldnt use Lowes lumber though either!! Go with an actual lumber company who knows what they are doing!!!!

Tried ordering items online was a nightmare due to inconsistent pricing. Did not receive all items and now they wont answer the phone. Manager refuses to address the issue. its been weeks now and im still trying the acquire a specific item that I paid for over a month ago. Accruing interest as I wait for the material.
