My wife and Is vehicle was in need of repair and, after checking reviews of local exhaust shops, we decided to choose Velazquez. We could not be happier! They replaced our resonator in less than a half hour and for a great price. Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle here!

They have lost their touch and got lazy, Last two times Ive went they have not put their all into their work. They barely even try anymore. Use to be my favorite shop now Its just sad. They messed my exhaust up even more than asked for a tip. Do not recommend.

They charge more then the one in elgin . 200 for a muffler delete and elgin charges 120. Same work and same pieces. And overall when I denied paying the 200 they gave me attitude and the main guy slammed the door on me . Unprofessional and don’t recommend this shop . Elgin I recommend %100

Please i repeat please do not go here, they dont speak English and rip u off, they broke a pc on my vehicle and tried to make me pay for it but the labor would have been free, umm in wat world would i ever do that coming from a shop not a alley machanic, if u can look up another shop besides these guy (all 3 are bad) in aurora il. If u can get a price from your dealership first then go from there but u will be disappointed here i promise u

Needed some exhaust work done and was looking for another quote. Called ahead to see if they had time, the lady answering the phone was very polite and answered my questions and said they had time to get me in.They showed me what needed to be fixed, gave me a couple options, was able to fix it right then and there for a very reasonable price and showed me the completed work before leaving. Would def recommend this place.

Another great experience at Velasquez Performance Exhaust. This time, had my wifes LandRover in, needed a new exhaust resonator, done in 2 hours, very good price. Also, I like the way they show you exactly what needs to be done on the vehicle. Office manager is very professional, and nice. Everything top notch!

I have been here since 10:33 with my girlfriend who likes this location(since its the only place she has been). From an unbiased perspective this place is a joke. I am still waiting for brakes and rotors. We have been the only business since we have arrived and we are still sitting here. I step out for a cigarette to see the mechanics sitting on there butts listening to music and laughing when we are spending $240 for brakes and rotors. The receptionist is unaware and fails to relay vital information regarding repairs. I asked the mechanic how long it usually takes, he responded 2 hours. Are you serious lol? No you cannot be because Ive sold cars for the past three years and Ive never heard such a thing for brakes.....and rotors. First time Ive visited and the last time I will come. If you need car work, go to discount tire in st. Charles. They value business and keep you abreast every step of the way. The owner should be disgusted with the service he is providing. Their business hours indicate they are open Sunday mornings until 2. They are not. They will put a muffler on your car thats a fact. But the welds are horrible. I mean its a big welder boys. It doesnt have to look like you drooled filler metal on it. And if I wasnt standing in the garage watching they would have installed the exhaust pipe so the downstream o2 sensor was inaccessible if it failed. Very little skill out of the few workers I encountered at this shop.

I had Velasquez replace all four of my brakes when they wore out. At first, everything was great. But after a few months, the brakes started squeaking while driving. I took the car back a couple of times, but of course the squeaking stopped when I pulled into their lot. Even though the written warranty was expired, and a visual inspection revealed no problems, they kept telling me they wanted to make things right. I elected to wait, as I had a long tip to take.Well, as it turned out, there was one defective brake pad that disintegrated after only a few thousand miles of use. It scored the left rear rotor. Velasquez replaced not only the left rear brake pads and rotor, but also the right rear as well, all at no charge. Again, they told me they wanted to make things right, even though the warranty was expired. They exemplify good customer service.

Drove in, got taken care of right away at a great price. When they discovered another issue, they gave me multiple options including another great low cost approach which was best for my aging vehicle.

Didnt have work done at this location, but the tech who helped diagnose the problem was very knowledgeable and suggested a couple options for me. Ill have to write another review once I have them fix my muffler problem. But for now Im just rating based on courtesy, knowledge, pricing and building accessibility.

Best quality repair and cheapest oil change around.At $80 I got a Flex pipe fixed here for damn near half the price of Super Lube, who wanted $150.The Velasquez shop across the street (for some reason its not listed on Google) does oil changes for $18, $2 less than Super Lube or Woodmans and $20 cheaper than Jiffy Lube.

If I could give it a Zero I would! My husband brought our vehicle in to have a new muffler installed not only did they do a terrible job on the welding (look for yourself at the photos) but they swapped the muffler that we brought to them for one that was a different part number and cheaper than the one that we gave them. Where our muffler went with the box, we have no idea. Also originally we were told a different price and when we went to pay it was more than we agreed upon. Overall this was a complete waste of money and I had to order the replacement parts all over again and had it done the right way. As you can see the welder didnt know what he was doing and did not have the welder set properly to get a clean weld.

Showed me an $80 replacement flex pipe with a flange that they said my car needed. I was under the car this weekend and found that they cut my old pipe and welded in a cheap $20 piece of flex pipe. They charged me for the $80 part. They cut and pieced crap together and made no effort to adapt pipes of different sizes together, instead they filled 1/4 gaps with crappy welds. A good weld is stronger than a clamp, these are not good welds. I will never go back

Friday afternoon went to have tires rotated saturday evening the tire came off. The bolts were not torqued. Unable to move the car the police towed it because it was abandoned check plates on police sofisticated computer find out Im a resident. Instead tow co. collects $150 police collect $80 pretty good deal must have counted over 30 cars..Velasquez denies fault saying brand new torque gun! Not brand new mechanic! Talking to wall..no CS..

They charged me 150$ to make me a y pipe and I had exhaust leaks everywhere and I went back and they said I needed new clamps. I spent another 30$ and my time putting these clamps on for it to keep leaking. Horrible service
