Beautiful selection and showroom with lots of options. Several reviews mention remnants and we had several small projects that we were interested in granite or soapstone for. However, they did not have remnants and also didn’t recommend soapstone for our main project (a vanity). They have a 10 square foot minimum for projects and ours didn’t meet the minimum. I am sure they would be great to work with for a larger project, but it was clear they didn’t seem interested in working with us.

I have been exclusively using Austin Granite Direct for 7 years. Their prices are fair and the quantity is top notch. If i have had an issue, their customer service is second to none. The owner (jose) gave me his direct number quickly settle the issued i had. Everyone makes mistakes, but its how you handle them, which determines how good of a company you are.

I’m very, very disappointed. They are dishonest. From the very first time I called in early August 2021, I asked if their staff who do estimates and install countertops are vaccinated and use a mask. I was assured that they did. I reconfirmed this several times in my interactions with their manager, Michelle. She said she had two kids and didn’t want them to get Covid so she reassured me each time. On several occasions when I called Michelle regarding clarification on the estimate, availability of granite slabs for me to see, etc. Michelle never called me back. I had to make the 40-minute drive to their location to talk to her. When I came on August 25, 2021 to sign the contract and pay a deposit Michelle was not wearing a mask. When I asked her to put on a mask she refused to do so. Then she informed me that she couldn’t assure me that the installers would wear a mask. When I asked why she said because they had to lift heavy things. When I asked why she hadn’t indicated this when we discussed it before on several occasions, she had no answer. My husband and I are at high risk of catching Covid and current local guidelines indicate people wear masks indoors even if vaccinated. These people don’t care about their customer’s health. They are rude and unresponsive. In other complaints I see that they blame their problems on their customers being rude but they are the rude ones. Don’t use any of their services.

Great experience with these guys, especially Blaine and Katy. Katy was very responsive on the initial bid process, and Blaine made the template/measuring appointment very easy and paid very close attention to detail. Martha was great on the scheduling side and the installers were top notch. Probably the best hidden seam Ive ever seen and took the time to protect our floors and clean up as thought theyd never been here. Cant say enough good things about this group of people!

Great experience start to finish! Theres a great selection of stone and its well priced. Belle and the team responded quickly and she even stopped by our house to deliver new samples when we changed our minds. The install team showed up on time, was super respectful of our space, and even discarded our ginormous sink box for us. Of all the contracted work we hired for our kitchen remodel, this was the only company that we are 100% satisfied with!

We had a great experience! Blaine was very nice and easily accessible through call or text. Our countertops turned out great and it makes such a difference in our home. If we had any issues Blaine was great about making sure everything was right. Would definitely recommend!

As a designer, I have recommended Austin Granite Direct to many, many clients over the years. One recent client had selected them as her provider for new kitchen & laundry room countertops and together, we coordinated subcontractors for all of the various parts of her remodel so that the whole event could be conducted while the family was on vacation and able to avoid the downsides of living through such a project. The client arranged to have Austin Granite Direct templatize her new counters a month in advance so there would be plenty of time for her counters to be fabricated and installed within the vacation window. It is Austin Granite Directs policy to collect a deposit prior to the template stage, after which time they order the product & tell you its usually a 2-week turnaround. In this instance, Austin Granite Direct came out to the clients home, not once, but twice--once to measure for an estimate, and once to pull templates--yet they never asked my client for a deposit. They spent man-hours to run digital templates but failed to follow through on their own policy to collect the deposit for the job before running those templates. Flash forward to the moment when I was ready to book the installation day, I called and emailed numerous times to coordinate this on behalf of my client but didnt get a response from Austin Granite Direct. I had to show up in person in order to get a response and book the installation date, which was booked a week in advance. Imagine my surprise, when a few days before our install date, I found out that they had never ordered the product. Their excuse was that they hadnt collected a deposit yet (their fault) and despite having an entire month to rectify the situation, failed to do so. Now that theyve left my client in the lurch, they didnt even have the decency to apologize to my client or offer even a minimal discount as a show of good faith for the time and trouble this interruption has caused (they predict multiple weeks just to receive the slabs, plus additional time for fabrication and installation), instead, effectively telling us its our fault we picked out something that is less common. Due to this completely avoidable disaster caused by the incompetence of Austin Granite Direct, we have lost the timeslots we had booked for the subcontractors to follow countertops (plumber, tilesetter), and in this competitive remodel market, you know this represents the potential for additional delays. Consequently, my clients will incur an inoperable kitchen for more than a month as we go back into tighter covid restrictions again and cooking at home becomes more vital to the health and safety of a family with two children too young to be immunized against the virus.As a designer, I represent not just one remodeling project to a countertop provider, but HUNDREDS of them. So if Austin Granite Direct wont have my and my clients backs, how can any homeowner expect that AGD will have theirs?You cant.So do yourself a solid and find another resource for your quartz, marble, and granite countertops, because you for sure cant depend on Austin Granite Direct.

I am helping my son with his new home remodel and I’m doing it from CA, so it’s a challenging process. I am so impressed with the responsiveness I received from Katie C. at AGD ! She replied within minutes, was friendly and provided some quick education on material choices, which was really helpful as it allowed me to go directly to the countertop material that would work best for the space. Great service and pricing. Blaine Vortman and the team at AGD were extremely patient. Blaine tirelessly put various quotes together for me with their slabs, or other slabs from Levantina or AG&M. Contracts provided via docusign. Martha immediately followed up with scheduling. I started by testing their work with my master and powder bath. Install teams are meticulously clean, organized and polite. They did very well so I moved on to the kitchen. Daisy at Levantina watched out for the specific slabs I needed and called right away when some potential slabs came in so I could approve. Taj Mahal moves fast! After laser measuring, I was provided with electronic visuals of my seam lines so I could approve where they went. Bruno with measuring also came up with some solutions to fix odd backslpash areas. The install team was terrific again (Ernesto and Juan) To top it all off, AGD provided a tile expert for my backsplash. Melvin is a true artist and craftsman. He installed my zellige 2 x6 tile which is not easy. He was so efficient, he never really dug into the extra 15% overage tile. I look forward to finishing out my house by having AGD do my second bath and laundry.

After looking at several places for the right product for our master bath remodel, I realized I needed help visualizing the end result. Amy brought samples to my house and talked me through what would work with our existing flooring/shower tile. Her professional eye was what I needed to make the decision . The installation process was quick and efficient. The quartz countertop, tub surround and window sills look great and I’ve never seen such seamless caulking. We’re very happy customers.

Blaine has lots of experience, and he provided valuable input for my vision, and if it would work. The granite seams were well matched, as they use a laser to cut the granite to be vert precise. The finished product looks fantastic!

THE BEST! I had a wonderful experience working with Blaine and his team at Austin Granite Direct. They were professional and communicative and were able to be flexible with scheduling around the construction delays that continued to come up. I was disappointed when I learned that we would need a seam in my island counter BUT WOW, I have NEVER seen such a SEAMLESS SEAM in my life, and I am a Realtor and see A LOT of countertops!! I had to look VERY close to see it is even there, which is EXACTLY what you want when it comes to needing a seam on your counters.COULD NOT RECOMMEND AUSTIN GRANITE DIRECT ENOUGH. Remodeling is a very stressful process. Having people who are good at what they do and reliable makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

This is the third time we have used Austin Granite Direct and they have exceeded our expectations each time. They have done two house remodels with us - adding new marble, granite, quartz, and quartzite. Even when there were a few touch ups needed or a little more to be shaved off the counter for appliances, they were quick to get us back on the schedule and complete that work. They also have great prices by the sq foot for amazing looking pieces. Recently they put soapstone on our outdoor kitchen and it turned out great! I highly recommend using AGD.

Holly and Blaine were a pleasure to work with on my first kitchen remodel. Very knowledgeable on the product and guided me to a beautiful quartzite . They are perhaps the only countertop installer that use a commercial laser to measure. Makes you feel very reassured and it does show in the end product. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! I had them redo my kitchen counters and backsplash and I had a seamless process from the first phone call to finish. I worked with Blaine V and cant believe how quickly we were able to complete the project. Once the paperwork was signed, the project was scheduled for two weeks out. Ive worked with other contractors in the past who I have to chase down to return my phone calls, etc. They always showed up on time for measurement appointments, etc. We had a last minute glitch where we discovered that the wrong faucet was ordered and Blaine was able to find us the correct faucet that same night and even have someone deliver it to our house the same night so we could keep the entire project on schedule. I felt the price was very reasonable. Jorge and Daniel did the install, I did waterfall edges and they were meticulous, professional, followed Covid protocols, and polite. The finished product looks amazing!

We love our new countertops! Austin Granite Direct was responsive, and patient, to our desire to get the perfect match in our kitchen. They worked with our time table, and were able to get the job done in a professional manner. I want to especially call out Blaine, who worked out several issues that arose. The sink that we had initially picked out didn’t fit, but he was able to help us find a matching sink that fit and did so quickly. Also, the first two slabs had imperfections that AGD did not accept, and were only satisfied when a quality slab was delivered. I appreciated that they were looking out for me. They were thorough, precise and worked until the job got done under a tight timeframe for a renovation. They had to come back several times to get the appropriate measurements due to other work being done on the home and did so without charging extra or delaying the instal of the countertops. The finished product is stunning. They exceeded my expectations in every area, including a very reasonable price. I am so incredibly happy that I chose Austin Granite Direct for my new quartz countertop! Not only is the quartz absolutely gorgeous, but the service was amazing. Suzzane (who worked in the showroom) was so patient with my fiancé and me, allowing us to check out countless samples, and even staying open a little late to accommodate us. When we finally decided on the quartz we wanted, Blaine Vortman came out right away to measure our kitchen and was extremely helpful - he ensured that we got exactly the product we wanted. Not to mention that the both Blaine and Suzzane, along with Martha (their scheduler) were very communicative throughout the process, providing me with updated quotes, accurate times for appointments, as well as follow up to make sure we were pleased with our countertop. We worked with Austin Granite Direct for our kitchen remodel and couldnt be happier with the entire process. From the first visit to their showroom on Anderson they were attentive, helpful, and able to answer all of our question. From there the project management and field installation team did a great job scheduling things quickly and getting the installation done when they said they were going to (which isnt the necessarily the case with all suppliers, trades, installers).We went with Calacatta Gold Silestone and it looks amazing. AGD did a great job working with our unique cabinet layout and made sure everything fit just right.We are still remodeling two more bathrooms and will definitely be going back to AGD for vanity countertops when the time comes. Extremely happy.Also, very reasonably priced and their pricing was also very straightforward and easy to understand.

A nightmare! First go at installation in bathroom the granite was tilted back toward the wall so water pooled. Thank goodness I had another company take it out and they realized there was no waterproof and shimmed with broken pieces of tiles. The shower step was also shimmed using broken pieces of tile from the trash from my shower install and a glob of glue that wobbled, again not water proofed or secure at all. The original order was sent in but the computer doesnt have a code for charcoal soapstone being in suede as We talked about and got a different one instead. I am giving two stars for the replacement of this mistake but after it all I am still to blame for the bad install, bad ordering, and fixing it without letting them do it first. Now I call before I need to do work on the kitchen counters so they can Inspected because there is a single shim holding a large section of the counter that isnt pushed in so no trim and can go there without work being done adding shims and cutting these others for trim to fit. I am told that is a minor job for a contractor and should be done by him.. thanks

Great selection of materials and fair pricing. We shopped around for materials a bit, before we came to AGD, and had our eye of a few quartz options. AGD had what we were looking for, and they were able to give us a rough estimate within a few days. Our first visit to the store was on a Wednesday, we got a quote by Friday, they sent out a measuring member the following Monday, we had our counters installed perfectly that Friday! Very happy with their work!

Not a great experience. Purchased a slab from AGS and it was a comedy of errors from poor communication to lack of accountability. Late to deliver, mistakes made in measuring and trying to get me to pay for them to come out to fix their mistake! I would not recommend this company.

I like this place and the people who work there. There is a warmth and kindness along with a down to Earth quality that makes me feel comfortable in their Burleson showroom. I have used them 4 times - twice for backsplash/tile and twice for countertops. Callie is a gem and Jose is honest and kind.

Dont hire Austin Granite Direct if you want stellar communication either in selecting your product or scheduling your installation. Their first guy to come measure for our new kitchen countertops couldnt even get to the correct house. Even with our address painted on our mailbox in 3 letters, I found him about to knock on my neighbor’s door. This concerned me. While measuring, he didnt have the most professional manner or appear to be the sharpest knife in the box. Then, he sent me text questions intended for another customer. Having lost confidence in their abilities, I requested another person to see us through the process. He was extremely professional, but we never received communication for when our install was scheduled. Because a date was selected without our input, it eventually had to be rescheduled due to logistics with arrival of appliances. Communication with a customer to confirm an appointment is not unusual. There was none, here. Our install was scheduled for today and I had to call them to confirm their ETA or inform us exactly how to prep our space for them. To make things worse, once they arrived, the countertop material was not as it appeared in the sample. I was VERY clear that I didn’t like/want veining… this material is FULL of it. (I’m sure some ppl would like it, but I don’t) The rep we worked with was not helpful at all so we HAD to go with a surface that I was clear from the beginning I didn’t want – simply so we can have an operational kitchen. This should be a delightful experience – replacing 54 yr old countertops. Instead I’ll get to look at new counters I don’t like for another 54 years. I feel awful. A dear friend recommended them and our experiences with them so far have been far from enjoyable. Do yourself a favor, if you appreciate top of the line customer service and KNOW what you want (and don’t want) find another vendor for your counters.

They installed granite countertops in our home. They stole the connection hoses, took the old sinks without permission, and knocked holes in the sheetrock in several places due to careless removal. They refused to repair the damage and only agreed to pay $30 to replace the hoses they took. They said they would replace one of the sinks they took but I havent seen that either. I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy!

From beginning til the end, Austin Granite Direct went above and beyond....and all was done with plenty of communication. They installed new granite countertops in our kitchen. Our stove was almost over-sized for the space....and the team worked extra-hard to make it fit!

We have used Austin Granite Direct on a couple of bathroom projects for Silestone and Granite. They were on time, clean, curteous, and conscientious when doing work in our Clients homes.
