I was made to feel very welcome. They checked in on me occasionally without being pushy. They held stuff for me behind the counter while I kept shopping, answered my questions, and let me know where the dressing room was in case I wanted to try things on. They have a wide variety of products in different price ranges, and I easily found what I needed at a price I was happy with. Definitely coming back next time I need gear!

Awesome staff, good prices and convenient location. Cant ask for much mote than that! If you ride a lot, opt for the membership for discounts on gear. Also, I found out if you plan on renting bikes through Twisted Road, the membership here will give you 10% off ALL rentals! Pretty sweet deal imho.

Store staff was very helpful in helping me choose a helmet. Very patient and positive and knowledgeable about the options. Love my new helmet. Fits great, has a pull down sun visor great for those of us who cant wear sunglasses over regular glasses. Reasonable price.

Salesman was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful to me, especially because I’m so new to motorcycling. He seemed to know when I needed help and when I needed to think. Very courteous and not at all condescending to a beginner. They carry a great selection of gear. If you can’t find what you need here you’re awfully hard to please. I’ll definitely be going back for more gear in the near future.

I visited the store on a Sunday, which is great that they are open that day, I needed a small bolt that I had lost. The gentleman that helped me went to the back and found one. I also bought a battery charger while there, they had a few different type to choose from. Great service, great people.

The employees were very nice and helpful, they stuck with me and helped pick out the right gear for a first time buyer. I gave them a budget and they did there best to get me there with quality gear. Overall it’s a good place for people getting in to riding and I will definitely go back again

If you need any gear or two wheel related items, Cycle Gear has you. Sam hooked me up with an Alpinestar jacket which is what I wanted but the best part was being able to work with him finding what works best for me. He educated me on the different styles they carry and really gave me my best options. My experience didnt stop there, he made sure I had everything I needed to make my ride comfortable and safe. We went over gloves, coms, and added armor for the jacket. I wish I could get everything all at once but some things will need to wait. The best part is that Sam got me set up with their membership so I save on all of my motorcycle needs for the rest of the year. It just makes sense.

Dropped off wheel for my Harley at 11am for a new Dunlop elite 4 tire that they had in stock and was told that there was a 24 hour turn around time. I was ok with that. At about 5pm same day they called me and said my wheel was ready with new tire installed! That’s what I call amazing customer service

Anthony was a huge help in finding my first helmet and gloves. He greeted me when I walked in, then quickly measured me up and got me in a few helmets that fit my head shape. When they didn’t have the color/style I wanted in stock, he ordered it so it would be in before my MSF. They had tons of glove options, even with my specific request for wrist sliders. Everything was at a reasonable, competitive price, and you can put a price tag on the great service and experience they have. I’ll definitely be coming back once I’m in the market for a track suit and snell certified helmet 👍

I forget the guys name, but he was informative and helped me find exact brand and features I wanted in a helmet. They also opened exactly at opening time, not late which is awesome.

Bought a helmet that seemed like a good fit when I tried it in-store but I didnt realize until I took it for its first true spin a week later that it was too tight and it caused a headache. I brought it back and I had technically violated the return policy because a week had passed but they were super nice and understanding and took it back anyway since it was still in like new condition. They then helped me find another helmet that fit my head shape a bit better and no headaches now with the new helmet. They were super awesome and Ill be back for any future bike gear.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Store has a lot of stuff, but not everything. I was able to get what I needed but I did compromise on boots since they didnt stock the exact model I was looking for. Theres a pretty limited selection of smaller sized stuff but thats kind of normal at most places.

Went in to get my gear I had reserved. Tried everything on, got a bigger jacket. Whole thing took 10 minutes or less. Great place, I will be back.

Just finished my MSC course, so I needed to get several items and have no experience in moto gear. I needed a helmet, jacket, pants and boots. I was a little worried about my lack of knowledge going into a big box store, but Anthony was awesome guiding me toward items that fit my budget and soon-to-be riding style. I feel comfortable the products I bought will serve Mt well as I learn more about motorcycling.

My number one go to shop in Austin the staff is not only cool but extremely helpful helped me pick out gear that fit and was what I wanted they also have a lot of gear and parts pretty much all you need awesome shop!

I was just killing time, but they had a huge selection of helmets, jackets, gloves, boots and track suits. They also sell maintenance items such as chains, levers, grips, tools, and a pretty good selection of tires, both on road and off road. Staff was very friendly and not pushy at all, they checked on me a free times to make sure I didnt need anything.

Very helpful staff. Dont remember their names but multiple people offered help. They answered questions and looked up whatever they didnt know right at the spot. Definitely worth a visit.

My sister and I went here with zero knowledge on what we were looking for, just knowing we needed gear to participate in a motorcycle safety course the next weekend. We took some time looking around before an employee, Tim, basically took us under his wing and guided us through every single one of our purchases.We needed boots, gloves, jackets, and helmets. Tim took us through all the options (sans gloves b/c we already picked some out), being very thorough with his explanations and making sure to work with our preferences. When there was something we wanted but the store didnt have it in stock, he took us through the online catalog on his computer to make sure what we wanted was available. Tim also informed us of and applied for us the new motorists discount, which we were completely unaware of and it saved us quite a few dollars.Plus it didnt hurt he laughed at all my jokes. 😌👌Only thing is neither my sister or I could find pants that fit us and werent extremely long. I think that had more to do with the product than the service, though, and the service definitely deserves 5 stars. Unless you need pants, I would suggest coming here.

Great selection of jackets for summer for women. Mens have been hit pretty hard where the REVIT Eclipse jackets are concerned but I was able to order one via mail order while I was there.

Since they expanded the store (its been years now) they have a great assortment of gear, including the better brands. That said, the staff is very helpful and doe snot upsell. They are happy to show you what they have and let you make up your mind. I also appreciate their care in protecting themselves and customers during the pandemic. I recommend them highly.

I brought in a mirror to the Austin store that I bought from the Killeen store and asked to swap it with the same mirror but normal threads not reverse threads. These folks were very nice, even listened to me running my mouth too much, then swapped out my mirror with no receipt but were able to look me up to make sure i had bought it. Very classy cool place I would definitely be back and recommend them highly. Austins store is larger than the one in Killeen. I still love motorcycling and this is one of few motorcycle accessories places still open and great customer service too!

Ive been to the store 5 or 6 times now. The staff is normally very helpful and knowledgeable. Last two visits I was helped by Crystal. She could not be better. Helpful and persistent with great attitude. At one point she said after helping a different customer with a rushed special order I love doing the impossible for customers!I have been happy with the quality and product selection every purchase. I have had trouble with a few things but it has always been resolved. Only once that I had difficulty with a warranty issue however that also has been resolved easily.I also like that I can find other Cycle Gear stores around the country when I am touring. I also know that they can rush ship to almost anywhere.I recommend this and this company.Additional note. One of the best retail managers any type of store that I have met is Cycle Gear manager Jake in Pacheco California.

Great to get your motorcycle ridding gear, lubricants and supplies. The staff is courteous and friendly. Prices are very competitive with local shops. They have great on line ordering system with a liberal return policy. They have a tire mounting shop and sell motorcycle tires.

Im a new rider and I walked in with little to no idea of what I wanted. Clint helped with utmost patience, explained a ton about helmets- brands and features. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He also helped me with other gear, price matched the helmet to the best price i found online and told me about upcoming sales and discounts so I didnt shell out the money on stuff I could wait for. They also changed the pads in my helmet as I wasnt comfortable with the ones people have tried in the store.

Helped me pick out the right boots. I was going for a cheap option, but after talking with the staff ordered a pair of tcx boots. They are great.

This place is horrible. My first experience was in June when I bought a bunch of stuff for a fixer upper only to have to return 3 times due to bad or incorrect items provided, one of which was a missing master link for a chain. I live 40 min away and my bike is my only transport so this was unacceptable and stopped shopping there. This past week (5 months later) I needed a chain same day and foolishly thought they couldnt screw up a chain purchase twice. However, they did screw it up and since my bike is my only transport, I was stranded with the old chain cut off. It has become obvious from their multiple screw ups that Cycle Gear doesnt care about something more than just taking your money. More times than not the items given to me were returned by a prior customer after defects were found, and still they sell it. Ill never go back even if I have to miss work to allow parts to arrive by mail. Im not saying they wont take back the stuff you buy, Im saying you shouldnt have to return the parts in the first place.

We are first time riders and had no idea where to start when looking to purchase helmets for the first time. Les helped us figure out what sizes we needed, educated us on shape, fitting and material. On top of that, he stayed open a little after closing to help finish our transaction. We were confident in our selection and very excited to begin our biking experience. Les was knowledgeable, kind, patient and not pushy. True definition of LES is more.

Just bought another bike here in Texas, and I went to cycle gear to get a new helmet. The staff was super helpful and let me try a bunch of different models and colors until I was satisfied, and then told me I still had 30 days to return or exchange because I still seemed hesitant on my choice. Awesome place and they always seem to have good close out deals.
