Wow. What can I say about this place? We had an amazing experience here. We always come here to get gas and have never used their garage services before, as we havent needed to use them. Today, my wife was about to partake on a long drive and we noticed a screw in her tire. Every single person in this establishment went out of their way to help us out. We were very appreciative and will definitely be back for any service needs we have. Cant say enough of how well the people treated us here.

Excellent service. I took my car in to have a problem with the steering diagnosed and repaired. I got an appointment at an ideal time for me. The problem was diagnosed and repaired within a couple of hours, and the car was ready to go. The cost of the repair was very reasonable, considerably less than I expected. We had our cars inspected here a few months ago, and a tire repaired, and the staff are always friendly and polite. The next time our car needs maintenance or repair, we will definitely bring it to Nicholas Fleet Street Shell.

I have always had great experiences at Fleet Street Shell but never got around to writing a review. I have taken my Honda Accord there for over five years and always had good service with fair prices. Today I managed to lock my son in the car and the owner dropped everything that he was doing to help me immediately. I will always be a customer, but now an even more grateful one.

I try to support local businesses, but this place makes it difficult. I expect a small shop to spend the day doing something that may be done in a few minutes at a jiffy lube, especially because I usually just show up,so thats not the problem. The problem is that you actually can schedule appointments online, which I actually bothered to do this time. I rush there after a 12hr overnight shift to get my car there on time @8am for a tune up. Only to call around 2pm and have the lady tell me the mechanics were just talking about starting on your car YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! Oh you were just thinking about it?? Then why bother with appointments?? I have never done an online review, but usually the mechanic take a quick minute to talk about the repairs the car needs (maybe thats not standard and they just happened to have some time on their hands the last few times Ive brought my car there) but that did not happen this time so I did get to say all this in person, and I dont give attitude to receptionists that are nice and have nothing to do with the weak customer service of the mechanics. I am exceptionally sure they serviced my car this morning and did not lay a finger on it yesterday. On top of that you can authorize repairs up to whatever amount you choose I did that, nothing was done, no one ever called to ask if I wanted any of the repairs, so what was the point in the authorization. Thanks for my 26hr tune up and tire rotation. Never going back and never recommending this place again.

These guys are hard working, honest and friendly. They have no problem explaining the work they do and offer fair prices. I dont know what these 1 star reviews are about but from my experience, we need more shops like this one right here.

I took a 1998 Mercury Tracer there for inspection repairs. The work was done quickly and perfectly. The inspection station was very impressed as was I. They did not give me the run around or try to pile a bunch of unnecessary services or repairs. They did EXACTLY what I asked for and were very open to answering all of my questions and explaining things to me. The staff is extremely friendly and the work is impeccable. I will be taking my car there for the duration and my monster truck too. Thank you Fleet Street Shell - you guys are amazing.

Most convenient place in Canton to get your car serviced. You can drive the car there to drop it off and walk home. Have had poor experiences elsewhere in the city and used them to fix the errors of other shops. Good communication as well.

Got an MD safety inspection out of the way here the other day. Took it here because it was a little bit cheaper and much closer than the dealership I was going to take the car to. It wasnt as quick as what I wouldve wanted, but there were a few people ahead of me, so naturally itd take longer. Only thing that didnt pass were my wipers (which I knew were in pretty awful condition). They fixed the issue and I passed. Nice folks, convenient location, good service, fair price, 5/5.

The cashier that was on duty earlier tonight could use a little training in customer service and also the Shell rewards system. Instead of trying to figure the problem out and take care of the customer(me) the man refunded my money and told me that I should just take my money elsewhere because he doesnt have the time to remedy the situation. One would think that if an employee is working their shift by themselves that they should be fluent in the companys computer system.

A pretty good gas station with decently priced gas in the area easy in and out access the service is ok this is where I normally fill up my tank.

My car spent some time in and out of a different shop for about a week. Bill had my car for one day and was able to tell me what was going on with my car.

My car wouldnt even start before I brought it to the shop. Bad new was I needed the entire alternator replaced. I had it at Mr. Tire and they just replaced the battery and charged it, so it started when I left that lot, but the battery drained out quickly after. I am happy that Fleet St. Shell was able to fix my car quickly and correctly. It seems to be doing fine at this point. It has a bit of a rumble, so I am hoping the car holds up, but no check engine or anything has come on and it seems to be running fine overall. It has had a few problems in the past, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I never write reviews - but the service at Fleet Street Shell really has forced my hand.My car was having an intermittent check engine light, but was driving fine. Unfortunately, I had an up coming emissions test, so I took it to this service station to get it checked out (since it is very close to my house). These guys charged me $144 just to take a look at my car (which wouldnt get counted in repairs).After waiting 4 days for them to finally take a look at it, they told me that compression in one of my cylinders was low -- the only solution a complete engine overhaul (the guy on the phone told me that it would be at least $2,000+). No thank you.I took it to another shop which I trust (but is much farther away). Turns out there wasnt anything wrong with the compression. The guys at the other shop fixed my car for a total of $250 (their fee to examine it counted towards the repair).These mechanics are charlatans of the worst kind.I wont even be patronizing them to get gas anymore.

My car would not start and I towed it to this place in the morning. They wanted to charge me $140 for just taking a look at it. I asked if the $140 would count towards my repairs and they said no, that would have to be paid separately. Any other mechanic charges about $40 to take a look at your car and those count towards repairs. I decided to call AAA again and tow my car to a reasonable mechanic.

This is old fashioned service at a fair price. When I dropped off my car the mechanic offered to drive me to my office on the way to pick up my parts. When was the last time that happened.

If I could give negative stars i would. WORST experiences I have ever had. I took my car here about 3 years ago when my car died thinking I needed a new starter. They assured me it was the battery so after $150 to replace that my car died again a week later. Turns out it was my starter...GRR. After another $200 to replace the starter I had my car back only to have it overheat a week or two later. Turns out their CARELESS MECHANICS tore out my coolant reservoir and neglected to find a solution to secure it before giving it back to me. Needless to say this caused the reservoir to rub against the hot belt burning a whole in it so no coolant could stay, Yet another thing I now needed to replace unnecessarily. When I took the car back to speak with a mechanic it was the WORST customer service experience I have EVER had. The guy was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to help or acknowledge that they had done anything wrong. Since then I have avoided this gas station even for gas because I was SO angry. Unfortunately my car broke down again and this was the only station I was able to get to. I was told my car would be looked at this morning and not only had i not heard anything I was told it would maybe be looked at this evening. Although I did not find out that this was the case until I called at 3pm. I am pretty sure the only reason they are in business is because of location because the customer service is TERRIBLE and my faith in their ability to correctly diagnose and fix a vehicle with any sort of competency is non existent. I am just trying to get it working enough to take it to ANY OTHER SHOP.
