Any review above 1 star is for the Charles street location, not the one in the Renaissance hotel.The staff greet you with the $10 charge notification and you turn right back around. Ive never heard of a place charging extra money for totally prepaid shipping. Its not the consumers fault youre on the 5th floor of a hotel.If you need a great, friendly team--walk about 3 blocks away from the harbor and 3 blocks left to the FedEx on the corner of Charles and Redwood. No crazy charges there!

Don’t even bother showing locations like this on the map if they’re a “non-traditional” center that charges extra for dropping off a pre-paid package. This makes no sense. Stick to USPS, UPS, or worst case scenario a traditional fedex.

I’m another frustrated FedEx customer. As previously stated by others, FedEx claims these are real FedEx locations but because they aren’t a stand-alone brick-and-mortar store, they charge for dropping off a pre-paid package. The charge I was told is for the “privilege” of being able to just come in off the street and drop off a package. Ridiculous. I’m just going to use USPS or UPS whenever possible.

Once I finally found the location (the google map image shows a standalone location, not a tiny office on the fifth floor of a hotel) they said their Internet was down so theyd have to call me later to get my payment information. I was desperate to make a flight so I left the packages with them. They called me the next day and I missed it. When I tried to call back several times all I got were busy signals when they were supposed to be open! Im still waiting to resolve this but even if it works out, it has been a horrible experience and they said they charge an extra fee for the convenience of being in the hotel (where I was not a guest). Use a different location.

I had a fine experience at this print shop. I mailed a bunch of big boxes to Europe and the staff was helpful. At the same time I had three big files printed and the staff did the job quick and it came out well. The paper was very high quality, not like the last time I had printing done at another local shop. All in all I would go back again.

Its a Fedex shipping center that insisted they have a right to charge me extra to drop off a package with a pre paid label. Google should absolutely stop recommending this location as a FedEx drop off and start labeling it for what it actually is which is a SCAM. Also its inside a hotel on the 5th floor which literally is impossible to find. Dont even bother with this place. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I have had a similar experience to many of the folks above... had a package set to be delivered to my downtown apartment, and missed the person twice because they have no way to get into our building unless someone lets them in. Had it switched to be delivered to this location so I could just go get it (was told theyd call when it was there - never happened). I called the store twice last week was told it was on its way so Monday this week I went into the store as it appeared online that it had been delivered. The worker told me it wasnt there, and was very condescending in saying I had to understand that the 4th of July holiday had backed everything up (even though it was showing up online as delivered). But fair enough. Today, I call the store and they say Oh, yeah, that package has been here a week, so were sending it back if you dont come right now. So I had to leave work and go get it. No apology or anything, and was made to feel like it was my fault and that it was human error, regardless of the fact that because of them it wouldve been sent back to the shipper. Just stay away from this place. Beyond a poor system in place, cant even muster up decent customer service after a mistake. What a mess.

This location charges you a fee (starting at $10 and going up) to drop off a prepaid Fedex package. I recommend going to the store at 11 S Charles Street instead.

Not worth it. 56 cents for black and white? They dont even offer bulk printing deals. I get that 56 cents has the price of convenience, but what about 15 cent Per page for the print jobs that are 60 pages. Geez, take my money dont rob me blind.

Ive had Fedex packages redirected to here for pickup. Everything has gone smoothly and Im out of there quickly. Parking in front of the place can be hit or miss, however. I have no need for printing things but for redirecting packages for pickup this place works great.

The representative who helped me was very kind and friendly but they charge $10 for every package they ship as a convenience fee. Theres another FedEx on Charles street 5 minutes away that I definitely recommend using instead.

Its mail, mail isnt something that is exciting or wild... if youre mailing it. HOWEVER, the staff here is on point and by staff I mean Jason. If you want an amusing guy that will make your mailing experience less dreadful, look for him. The tattooed beacon on the dark journey of endless lines and boxes.The cherry on top is that his smile, friendly sass and dry humor come at no extra charge.

If I could give zero stars I would! Horrible experience with Fed Ex! I was merely returning a package that was delivered via fed ex. The package came with a “pre paid” return label and this store still charged me $10 to take the package. A “convenience feee” they called it.A big inconvenience is what it is! And a rip off!!! I will never use fed ex for shipping ever again!!!

Came to this one after a FedEx Office where I live in San Francisco couldnt get a print order done in time before I came out here for a con. At first I was a bit disappointed their printers couldnt replicate the art print I sent that well (I asked for an oversize one, but they didnt use it for the first few attempts), before switching to the oversize printer which produced it fantastically.I didnt get his name, but the person who helped me understood my urgency and needs being a big fan of comics and cons that he went above and beyond with my print, even if it was just one. I didnt even need to wait an extra day with the lack of traffic or orders like I did in SF; they just kept going back and trying again with the printing until I was happy with the result.Honestly Im surprised I wasnt brushed off because even I felt I was getting a bit pushy or even a bit ungrateful. Definitely a great experience and left a very happy and fulfilled customer! Employee even threw in a little something.

Every time Ive been there, its been an awful experience. If I had any other option to go to now, I would never give them my money again. Id go out of my way for another place if there was one. Today the clerk decided to be condescending to me for no reason, after being in obviously no hurry to do anything quickly. Customer service has never, and still isnt, a thing here.

First - 1 star because that is the lowest. I have never experienced such terrible service at a fedex. The person helping me leaves into the back area. I am left waiting and waiting while a semi-not-quite retarded gentleman takes 30+ minutes scanning 5 boxes for shipment. After he is finished and then yells at me for asking for assistance (Because you see he cannot stop scanning his packages), he says he doesnt know how to print my pdf. Then....the first person comes out of the back room talking on her cell phone. Saying something about her headphones being awesome. I ask her one more time for help and she walks away saying her shift is over.

Employee was inept and did whatever he could to not do his job. I had a few prints I wanted to make and since Im very finicky I wanted the employe there to run some test prints. He refused and told me to go use the self service kiosk. The store was not busy, I was the only person there.I tried the kiosk and the first print came out looking like garbage. The machine was clearly not calibrated. I told him this wont do and I need to be able to mess with the brightness and try a different machine. He refused to help me saying he was the only person working there.Nonexistant customer service, garbage print quality, do not go here.

Wow.. this guy is sleepy or something. I have a package prelabeled and he takes one look and mumbles something like some of those we take.. some of those we dont And when I tried explaining that I had sent a package of the same kind last week, he didnt listen to me and just made me wait. I wouldnt walk all the way here if I didnt know I could return the package to Fedex.

My experience at this location was two fold. I am a from South Carolina, so perhaps the customer service standard is different, however Terita that works at this location was absolutely the most subpar in customer service that I have ever seen in any industry. The first visit on 11/18/14, there was a gentleman in front of me at the service counter and she was at the shipping counter sorting through boxes. After standing there for 10 minutes, she finally voiced that she could help anyone they would come to her counter( a mere few feet away and she couldnt come to the customer). After the gentleman and myself walked to that counter, she never made eye contact, never smiled, and never looked like she gave even a fraction of a care about anything but her current boxed task at hand. The gentleman asked if they were short staffed, obviously concerned about the unsatisfactory service, and she told him no they were not short staffed. Being that I was going to be running late for an appointment, I left with nothing printed as she went back to THE ORIGINAL counter to assist him further. After my appointment I returned, and a tall older African American gentlemen with glasses was very helpful. He assisted me in retrieving resume paper for copies very rapidly and was extremely efficient in his duties. For that, I thanked him. After making my copies, I returned to the counter to be taken care of by, once again, Terita. Again, no smile, as few of words as possible, and just looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but there. Overall, if you want to use this particular location, use ONLY the self service functions of the business. Luckily, printers that accept auto pay are not expected to have a personality. To the one gentleman that was helpful in my endeavors, I thank you again.

I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and three of the four times it has been drastically understaffed with two employees to deal with a line of 20+ customers. Theyve done as well as anyone could in that situation but it needs way more staffing.

If I could give it less than one star I would. I talked to the Fed Ex center in Dundalk, who were very helpful and forwarded my package. When I went to pick it up, they flat out told me there was no way to look up where my package was based on my last name and without my tracking number. While asking for options besides calling that national hotline, the woman hung up on me.

The pictures and Google location are wrong.. this is one of those small, fake hotel ones that charges an extra fee to ship anything. Theres a real FedEx barely 3 blocks away. Use that one instead.

90 mins and they are incapable of printing one doc. Off their app, off Dropbox, off goggle docs or email. Jackie and Edwin literally have NO idea of how their technology works. And since I only put enough $ in the meter for an hour I got a parking tix. Go anywhere else.

This customer service at this location is terrible! I had a package delivered at this location (Fedex tracking website stated that it arrived in Saturday 3/7/15 and was available for pick up) I went to the store and the clerk told me that the package was not there and he had no explanation as why the website said it was there. He told me to come back on Tuesday 3/10/15. I called on the phone to confirm that my package had arrived on Tuesday and got put on hold 3 times before I had to raised my voice to the person that answer the phone the 4th time so she would pay attention to what i was saying. No apology or anything. I will not be coming back to this location.

Staff was hopelessly overwhelmed with 4 people in the store at the same time. I was the only one picking something up, there was one person sending something, one person using the copiers which were all broken, and one person on the computers. Still waited more than 15 minutes to pick up a prepaid print job which took her 4 trys to bring up on the computer.

Yeah the service isnt all that great, but still better than this other place I normally visit. Let me tell you, the last time I came by to make a print, the young lady was having a conversation with her coworker about her butt itching like CRAZY despite taking a shower. I asked to see the manager and she told me, and I quote, you might can help me with that. I mean, unprofessional, and rude service, I will never step foot into another POPCOPY again in my life, they only use Linux computers and that doesnt really help out anyone but a small minority. So, count your blessings, this FedEx/Kinkos is worlds better than Popcopy.

The manager at 9 PM this evening was rude. He talked to his employee in a very unnecessarily condescending manner. Then, when I said that my package was not delivered and had been rerouted to the FedEx, he said this was not possible. I gave him my tracking number, and of course it was there. These managers need better leadership and skills training before they are allowed to talk to their staff and customers as he did.
