I came to Stokes to examine a used vehicle I’d previously seen on the Autotrader. The nice lady at the front desk introduced me to Ryan, & we took a test drive. Not much suspense involved since I’d already owned earlier versions of this car. My research was made a bit more convenient in part by Stokes having provided a free Carfax on Autotrader.We filled out the paperwork for purchase of the newer car and trade-in of my old one, and then completed the financial part of the transaction with Glenn. Again not a lot of drama there either since I was paying cash for the car.I was however, impressed by the demeanor of both Ryan and Glenn. They were both courteous and professional. In the world of auto sales, where everyone doesn’t always have the best reputation for honesty (sometimes deservedly so), they both impressed me as being open and straightforward.So much so, that I decided to give Stokes the right to do the maintenance on my new vehicle, even though it’s not a Toyota. I’ll see how that goes, and can indeed offer further reviews as time goes by, but at present, my initial assessment of Ryan, Glenn and Stokes as a whole is quite positive!

I went here to look around for a new car for myself since we got my husband’s truck there. The man that “helped” us wouldn’t acknowledge me.When I asked a question he would not look at me but walk up to my husband to answer it. I know more about cars then my husband and the vehicle was for me, so it was disrespectful to constantly get ignored and have them only communicate with my husband.Then the employee told my husband that it would “make your wife happy if you got her that car.” Then looked at me, for the first time, and said “Ain’t that right?”I was livid, so I told him no and tried again to get information on a car I was looking at. He didn’t answer me and led my husband to a different vehicle.When we went inside the manager was called over to “sweeten the deal”, but by that point I was angry. I never got a single answer to any of my questions, I was used to get my husband to buy a car, and when I tried to get the employee’s attention he would go out of his way to ignore me.I told my husband to get in the car and we were leaving.Then the manager and employee had the audacity to act like I was angry for no reason. I told them goodbye because I didn’t want to be rude.The manager asked with an attitude “Can I at least give you our number?”I told him yes and when he did I stormed out of there.I only took the number so I knew what numbers I needed to block. Then the manager texted me from his personal number. I didn’t give him permission to text me. So he went into my husband’s account and got my number. I blocked him too.I have never been so disrespect in my life. I’m never buying a car here again.

Drove an hour and a half to look at a Jeep. It was abused and used and in poor condition. They had it listed at the top of the KBB value.vehicle had alot of issues. Salesperson didnt know a thing and had to walk off and ask someone everything I asked. Left us standing being eaten by Gnats while he went to ask if they would fix any of the issues. After 15 minutes we left.
Horrible experience!! If you need anything but regular maintenance on your vehicle don’t go here. They were very rude. They knew when I scheduled my Sequoia that I needed the seat upholstery repaired and the tailgate lift had to have the paint touched up. When I arrived there they said I was not scheduled and who did I talk to. They finally found me in their system. They told me that the paint guy was not working today due to rain ( Even though I called On Monday and asked If they were going to be open due to the storm arriving). Then they said it was two thousand dollars to fix the upholstery on the seat and gave me a card of a guy to look at the seat and sent me on my way. If I could I would drive to the Toyota dealership in Greenville! They would never treat their customers this way!!!
Gentlemen Stoke Toyota Beufort really very regrettable the way they treated and humiliated me as a customer, by not agreeing to sign a vehicle that is not in their facilities, and that they offered me for the month of August, they asked me for $ 500 which was for I gave them to reserve the car, they set quotas and they preferred to return them to me and find another client who would agree to sign them without giving me the car. I remind them that if I signed it was against my legal principles and it represented a loss of almost $ 100 for the days that I did not I had the car. Really, thank you. You know how to lose customers, thank you

Roger, the sales manager, and Brian Nowlin, our salesman, were both absolutely incredible! We had just experienced a horrible situation with Butler Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Beaufort and these two gentlemen literally just turned a horrible situation into an amazing one. We could not have been happier with the customer service, professionalism, knowledge, fairness, negotiations, and just the overall friendliness of the entire dealership. These guys won’t let you down! I highly recommend this dealership, and these two gentlemen specifically. Toyota vehicles are safe and consistently rated the most reliable vehicles on the road today. I looked at the Subaru and found some dings and paint missing on front right bumper. Also cloth tare in upper center left of tail gate area. We wanted a specific new 2021 Avalon Limited and a specific color. Our local dealer could not find one so I called Stokes Toyota in Beaufort and was referred to salesman Luis Almanzar. We live over an hour away so most of our contact was via telephone. Within six days, we took delivery of the exact new car we wanted which Luis found at a dealer in Florida. We know Luis to be an honest, courteous, and very helpful person.

Our “salesman” knew little to nothing about the car. He didn’t speak once on our test drive to us other than the answers of “I don’t know/I’m not sure”. The car we were interested was on their lot for 2.5 months so we asked if there would be any negotiation on the price and his response was “our prices here are aggressive”. All we were looking for was a few hundred dollars off since the rust/dents/scratches were not advertised online. It wasn’t a great experience and I wish we had a different salesman that could have helped us get into the car we wanted.
We have been dealing with Stokes Toyota for years for a many good reasons. The sales people have always been polite and professional. They have always ensured that our vehicle needs and budget have taken center stage. We have both leased and bought from this dealer and will continue to do so in the future as our needs change and our children get older.
Found an oil leak while on a road trip and this service center was excellent. Diagnosed the problem within a half hour of getting on the lot, and the tech hooked me up with enough oil so that I could get my car to the campground and make it back the next day without issue - he even scoured a few half bottles from around the shop for me in case the leak was worse overnight. Got parts delivered by the next morning and had me out within a day and a half for an issue that required dropping the transmission out in order to reach the problem area. Having an older vehicle (1988) it can be a bit nerve-wracking when issues like this come up on the road, but this crew had it handled and I was super thankful for all their hard work. Plus they had rentals for $35/day and I got a brand new Tundra to try and figure out how to park for the day while my truck was in the shop 😂
Stoke Toyota change pricing 410 to 500, didnt see it then but now after getting home home check paper again, oh well but someone could had told me the price when up and no explanation for the up charges for the service given
Bought a car for my daughter. They company sent us to a place to have a key made. That company absolutely destroyed the electrical system in the car. We had to pay out of pocket to correct this expensive error. We will NEVER use this dealership again. Poor customer service. Extremely disappointed.

I only gave 1 star bc I had to give something. I called Toyota in Beaufort to inquire about warranty work for Silver Rock. CJ in Service informed me that the mechanics were out rest of that week and told me call back. I called back on Monday she told me I can bring it in but they do not like doing work for warranty companies and said my company takes too long to pay. I dropped my car off the same evening. They supposedly looked at it and she claimed it needed a track & motor for the sunroof and claims she contacted my warranty company and they had to send an adjuster out and also claims they declined to fix it... I called the warranty company myself & Toyota never even did a claim. CJ told me she would call me I had to call her every day to get a status update.. I then called the Toyota dealership in Bluffton & spoke to Rob the overall Service Manager he got my car right in with Lorenzo & I got a call the SAME day from Lorenzo told me my drains were clogged and I did NOT need a track & motor for my sunroof. He then sent the claim in & it was paid the NEXT day. I would not recommend going to the Toyota dealership in Beaufort, you will be lied to!

Christopher Wern was amazing. He worked for over a month to find the exact car I wanted. There was no monkey business. He was honest and fair in his dealings. The Beaufort Stokes Toyota dealership also didnt add a lot of non-essentials that they could bill for lowering the price to be where we wanted it. I highly recommend this dealership and specifically Christopher Wern and his counterpart Donnie. Good guys who are willing to work hard to find you exactly what you want.

Recently had some major work done on a brand new Tundra that another Toyota dealership sold me that was defective off the lot.The service department at Stokes Beaufort took care of everything and got the truck back to me with effectively a new engine on a very tight time schedule. Dev and everyone else on the service team were very professional and if I find myself living in Beaufort again in the future Ill definitely be bringing my vehicles here for service.

The new management in place is awesome and willing to go the extra mile to make sure their customers have a great experience. I had one bad experience back in 2019, but I gave them another chance and what a difference it makes to see new people who are their for the customer not themselves.I dealt with Darian Gregory and he was very responsive, courteous and responsive to my questions, always checked to make sure his responses where accurate not just to appease me. I have been a customer of Stokes since 2016 . Always had great service. But today they dropped the ball. Didnt want to admit to any wrong doing on something that happen with my car. No follow up phone back after being told that they would get back to me. So that meant a extra trip to the dealership to have them fix the problem . 😠

Purchased a 2011 Prius. Less than two months later the AC died. They wanted to charge me $2,000 to fix it which was 1/5 the price of the vehicle for a single part. Extremely high pressure sales. Within 2 minutes of entering the showroom they required I sign a letter of intention to buy. Management acted disinterested in my plight, continually stating the vehicle was sold as is. Apparently their vaunted pre-owned inspection is little more than turning it on and if it works, its good to go. The vehicle also reeked of animal urine which was initially covered up by copious amounts of air freshener. For 10k I expected more. Would not recommend this dealership.

Take your money outside of the military town youre in.Bought a car here two years ago, roughly. When I test drove it, it was fine. Not even two days later my ABS lights, my brake light, and my (!) light was on. Theyve been on since. Turns out my brake actuator is cracked and they cleared the codes before selling it. My brakes havent properly worked since, and when I told them about it they stated clearly that they wouldnt be doing anything with the vehicle because I hadnt purchased a warranty. Im now located in another state, and had a mechanic look at the car when I had the chance because they refused to touch it, and every mechanic in Beaufort said everything was fine when the dash lights were still clearly on. You can see the crack in my actuator, and when tested there are large amounts of nitrogen in my brake system. When I tried to call again to at least let them know, the repairs department very swiftly said well. You drove it off the lot so that isnt our problem. So now Im either facing an accident or having to go upside down on a loan.
I initially visited Stokes Toyota in January to check out the new Camry. I was not ready to purchase at that time, so I informed Kayla (my salesperson) that I would return when I was. I truly felt that I wasnt just another sale when she consistently followed up with me to ensure that she was still tracking on what I wanted in my vehicle. When I was ready to purchase, she met all of my expectations. I was a bit indecisive on which car I wanted at first, and not once did she seem impatient or rush me to get into anything I didnt truly want. When I did finally get my car, it was everything I wanted and MORE. I am in love with my new vehicle. Kayla was so kind and professional, she answered every single one of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. She is very down to earth and I was very comfortable for the entire purchase process. The stokes staff was a bit flexible when I put my down payment towards my car, which was tremendously helpful. This has been the best experience Ive had while purchasing a vehicle, and I know if I have any additional questions or concerns I can call or text Kayla and shell get me taken care of. Ive been recommending that my friends who are on the market for a new vehicle go to Stokes. I would definitely return without hesitation.
Kept in contact with me about a car for about 4 days while I was working with my financing. Then proceeded to text me and said they had sold the car. Out from under me. Fast forward a few weeks and I’m still searching for a car of the same make and model. Come across one in my state. Ran the vin and quickly found out that the dealer had sent it to auction out from underneath me. Needless to say I go pick the car up for $2k less than what they were asking. Not a reliable dealer.

Honestly had the best service I’ve ever had. I pulled up and drove around just to look at the new 2020 corollas and Jarleen came outside within a blink of an eye to help me. Had no intentions of buying a new car that day but her service and the great deal she offered me I just couldn’t say no. Rick the GM was awesome gets involved with the customers and made me feel at home I never once felt like the employees were more interested in the money than the customer and the finish off Scott with finance was so legit great guy we got to talk and get to know each other before he talked about money such an awesome experience overall I hope this same team is still around in a few years when I’m ready for something bigger!!!!!

Let me tell you guys something we are from Tennessee we drove 6 1/2 hours to purchase an Audi A4 for my stepson these people went above and beyond I don’t even know how to explain how good the customer service is here we drove so far they were so quick with us knowing that he had to drive home 6 1/2 hours the car was beautiful the service was great they had great coffee free popcorn and everyone there was extremely nice the financing was great I don’t know how else to explain this But this dealership is definitely where you want to purchase a car the finance manager was super nice and explained everything very clearly not one time did we feel like we were getting screwed over in anyway I know that’s very rare in a car dealership but I’m telling you right now this Toyota dealership is one above the rest I wish I could give them 10 stars we are very happy with our purchase and the customer service we were provided I mean the man asked us if we needed cookies who does that I mean only people that care do that we had not eaten since breakfast and they were worried if we were hungry if anyone reads this know that if you come to the Beaufort Stokes Toyota you will be very well taken care of Nick Perkins from Tennessee I stand behind this company 100% no only that but I think I need to add that this dealership also employees United States veterans and to me that’s very important the salesman we had was a Navy veteran and we as Americans appreciate his service He served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan A real American hero

Great experience working with Mark Bernhard. Very knowledgeable and was able to explain the all of the new high tech features. The dealership didnt have the specific color we were looking for, so he had it delivered from another dealership in two days. Hes a Marine Vet and understand that schedules are often busy without much free time. He had our paperwork done in 30 minutes, and James the finance manager had us out in under an hour.If youre in the market for a new vehicle, head on over and ask for Mark. You wont be disappointed.

So far the best car buying experience Ive ever had! Chris Werner was absolutely outstanding to deal with, mostly because he was real with me, which is something I genuinely appreciate. Theres always this weird vibe between car salesmen and the buyer, and for once i didnt experiance that. Im loyal to Toyota as this was my second Toyota truck ive purchased, and Stokes Beaufort has earned a loyal customer. Make sure Werner gets a good bonus, dude deserves it!One side note, to the middle aged women, fellow Stokes employee, on the shorter side with glasses, dark brown/black hair that I watched openly chastise Mr.Werner over something that from what I could over hear wasnt his fault, Id recommend if your going to have a conversation with an employee over something you disagree with, make sure you do it behind closed doors so customers within ear shot dont see/hear it. Leadership 101.

I had a wonderful experience with the dealership. They were very friendly associates. Walter Simmons is a wonderful salesman. He did all he could to make sure that I would be happy with the purchasing of my new 2016 Toyota Camry. Before closing the deal he wanted to make sure that I was a completely satisfied customer. I havent yet experienced the service department but I feel they will do just a wonderful job as the others did. We definitely will be considering purchasing another vehicle from Stokes Brown Toyota of Beaufort in the future for our SUV or truck. If you ever think of purchasing a Toyota, be sure to ask for Walter Simmons...he will definitely hook you up with a deal that you just wont turn down.

My wife was the one who went in and spent the time buying us two cars over a four day period. However, I appreciate how well the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff worked with my wife to not only work as fast as they could but helped get out of two undesirable cars and Into two brand new Toyota’s that we love. The new 2018 Camry is beautiful and I love it. My wife is driving the 2018 Corolla and she loves it as well. The interior for both cars is very impressive for the price range of the vehicles with a lot of emmenities. My Camry looks and feels like a Lexus, at least that’s what a friend of mine said after riding in it. The customer service of our salesperson, Karla was very personable and helpful. Which, after interactions some of the other people employees there, I could tell those traits are shared by the entire branch. This was easily the the best car buying experience we have had in ten years. I hope this helps anyone who dreads the car buying process. They made it very easy

I was able to step into my dream vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma, with Stokes of Beaufort. My husband and I came here looking for a used reliable, newish car under 10k and Ms. Jarlene and Mrs. Sherri went to work! Keep in mind we have shopped and bought cars at other dealerships and they didn’t come close to these guys. These ladies were amazing and went out of their way to work with our budget! They brought us chips and water while we waited and kept conversation very interesting aside from buying the vehicle! They didn’t treat us like customers, they treated us like family. Christopher Wern is your guy if youre looking for a new car.Long story short, he did everything he could to make something work for our family. When it came down to it, due to factors outside their control (national inventory shortages) we couldnt find anything that would work.The whole way through it was all about the customer, not the sale.Class act. Were going down to Beaufort for our next Toyota!

Great staff, they were so helpful while I shopped for an SUV with my 2 year old daughter. The staff gave her a Barbie and sunglasses, a balloon, turned a show on for her, and even pushed her around the vehicle in her stroller while I checked out all of the controls with my sales person. They really went above and beyond to make it possible for me to be able to look at a vehicle with my daughter in tow. However, I do feel like my chances at buying a car here were ruined by my salesperson and her manager avoiding giving me prices. I was frustrated to have spent so much time looking at a vehicle, and even testing driving it before getting an answer on how much the vehicle was priced at. It ended up being more than 11,000 over my budget, so I felt like my time was wasted looking a vehicle that I would never purchase. By the time I got that number, I needed to leave so that we could eat lunch, but they did try quickly to find me some used vehicles within my price range. I did drive one of those home, but again they wouldnt give me a price until I really pressed, they just kept said, I am sure we can get you into the payment you want with this vehicle. I understand why they do this, but Im not concerned about the payment. I budget and I need to know the total investment. Overall, it would have been a better experience if they just gave me numbers so that I could decide what I could afford, rather than THEM telling ME what I can afford. I ended up taking that vehicle back that night because it wasnt exactly what I wanted. I do appreciate their diligent follow up as they received other vehicles that they thought I would like, but in the meantime I fell in love with another vehicle at a different dealership. Of all the dealerships we went to, this one was the best with my daughter and that meant a lot to me, that is why I rated them so high. I just wish that my time there had been better spent.

The sales department is pretty good, however service is not. Every time I make an appointment it takes over an hour to just change the oil and do the service. No warning on checking in that it might be that long. Be glad when I can get it serviced when the warranty expires - at a different business.
My representative was Luis. You’ll know him because he’s the most well dressed one in there. Him and his team worked tirelessly to get me in my dream truck with a super low rate of interest on my financing. They even beat the military rates I’ve gotten in the past! I absolutely recommend Stoke’s Toyota Beaufort to anyone in the area looking to get into a ride they’d be proud of.

Superb personalized car buying experience!No one really looks forward to purchasing a car and you dread all the tacky sales tactics. You will not find that at Stokes Beaufort nor will you find that with Kayla, our sales person. The entire process was very personalized including going above and beyond to help us surprise our daughter. Kayla took our financial and safety concerns and found the perfect match for us without the typical pushy sales tactics. She was extremely genuine and you can tell she truly has a passion for what she does! The manager was super helpful and checked in on us from time to time which is always nice to see. Every person we worked with to include the finance office was phenomenal! Hands down, I would not go any place else and will be referring everyone to see Kayla!
