The staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful! From checking in thru choosing eye wear, everyone was awesome. Best of all was Dr Riya Paranthan! Dr. Riya is smart, beautiful and kind - all the qualities you want in a doctor.She treated my mother with great insight and a gentle manner. We are very glad to have found this medical office.

Dr Paranthan appears to be knowledgeable about eyes in general, eye diseases and eye conditions such as cataracts. She is courteous and patient. She is very willing to answer questions and explain procedures.,

Dr Riya Paranthan changed my life!Ive been going to Bellingham family eye clinic for about ten years. I have never been happy with the experience but I assumed it just was what it was, that vision was not in the cards for me. I was about to check out a less expensive eye center but my friend who sees Dr Paranthan insisted I saw her before giving up on B.F.E.C. So I made an appointment and I am so glad I did. My vision is amazing. I get more done in a day than I used to in a week. What a precious gift.Oh yes, and Dr Paranthan had beautiful bedside manner. I think she acting cares about her clients.

Dr. Glen Green is transitioning into retirement (enjoy, my friend) and has found an excellent replacement, Dr. Riya Paranthan.And the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful.My visit yesterday was perfect.I was experiencing blurred vision and the Dr found that some cells had grown on the artificial lens inserted during my cataract surgery. Shes referring me back to those folks for a simple laser procedure and Ill be good to go. Thanks Dr.

We find that the staff is not only very helpful, but the level of competency is beyond what I have yet experienced. I have been wearing glasses for about 75 years now, so my experience with Eye clinics is vast.BFEC has tests and equipment that they use to perform their examinations, which I have never previously seen or experienced. I heartily recommend them to anyone wanting an eye check up and examination.

Had a lovely experience at Bellingham Family Eye Clinic. I sadly didnt qualify for the night contacts I wanted due to my eyes, but they helped me get fitted for what works for me and listened to all my concerns and questions. They were friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable!

I went to 3 other places, none of which would allow use of my medicare contribution toward post cataract surgery glasses and all of whom told me that it was not possible for actual glass to be put into the frames I choose because of size. However, these folks went far beyond the call of duty to actually call the company that grinds the prescription to discuss with them the limitations and whether or not it was possible to make the glasses I wanted. After 1/2 hour on the phone, the glass people said possibly and they would be willing to try! I am so impressed with the willingness to take the extra step to serve the customer that I cant recommend them high enough. Wont go anywhere else again.

I have been going to Bellingham Family Eye Clinic since I moved here several years ago. Actually, Dr. Greene is a mainstay for all of my family here in Bellingham. I am a Type 2 diabetic and Dr. Greene makes sure that all the tests necessary to make sure my diabetes is not affecting my eyes (such as glaucoma) are done on a routine fashion. The staff is unbelievably accommodating and friendly. I would recommend Dr. Greene and his office to anyone.
