Brought my car here off a family member’s recommendation. George was super friendly and knowledgeable about what was going wrong with my car. My new part and labor was extremely affordable for this 25 year old teacher. This is now where I bring my car whenever I have a problem because I know I won’t be price gouged.

1 star is way too high... DO NOT ALLOW THIS COMPANY TO SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE... George (Manager/OWNER) is a UNPROFESSIONAL, Money hungry SCAM artist. I had two vehicles at this shop 5/21/18.2009 Vehicle #1- (Wouldnt Start) George stated the gas gauge was broken. He quoted $598 for new fuel pump + $220 for labor. George stated the car was out of gas, once he put gas in the car started. Charged $220Dealership price for fuel pump $455.2014 Vehicle #2- (Wouldnt accelerate) George stated it needed a new Transmission. He suggested I get a used one to replace it for $1700 + $800 for labor. I took the vehicle to the Dealership, Transmission is fine. Cooler lines needed to be replaced and Transmission serviced to remove debris $1000.Once George became aware he wasnt going to service this vehicle he got an attitude.Please explain the charges for vehicle #1 of $220 without servicing. Also, the incorrect diagnosis for vehicle #2.George you should be ASHAMED of yourself, charging for services not performed, OVERCHARGING for parts and IMPROPERLY diagnosing vehicles. Very UNPLEASANT experience. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND

George is the owner of the shop and George rocks!!My car broke down on a highway and it was towed to a dealership. They wanted to charge me like crazy for some parts I needed and some I didnt. I called the towing company and asked the owner for a recommended auto shop, and that was how I knew this Fletcher auto repair shop. I really glad I made the phone call as George and his crew fixed my car with a very reasonable price. I replaced a new alternator and a new belt, and the price was $500 less than the quote from the dealership. George didnt charge me the labor fee for the belt replacement. Also, according to the diagnostic report from the dealership, they claimed my engine mount was broken, but George said it was fine. I really appreciated how honest he was as he could have said I needed a new one to charge me for extra money. I drove my car for a 1600 miles road trip after I visited the shop. I was worried the whole trip but my car was doing surprisingly good. It actually has been running great since then.This was my first time visiting Fletcher auto repair. If I didnt move out of Maryland, I would taken my car to this shop for every service. Highly recommended!! I am really happy about my experience here. Oh just a heads up, the place is not very easy to find. It is located in an industrial neighborhood and its the building behind the Budget truck rental.

They tightened the lug nuts on my tires for free on the spot and were super nice.
