Excellent experience. Pulled into a hotel on the same block and the car was starting to overheat. Called them, dropped it off. They fixed it the next day and we will be on the road Sunday as planned. Thanks for your friendly service.
Review is for the car wash only. It literally just lightly sprays water - theres nothing that touches your car. Car came out just as dirty 100% as when it went in. Do not waste your money on this car wash.
Nice professional place, Alex Maryland inspector went out of his way to get my car done today while waiting. I highly recommend this place
What service! After I jumped my friend’s battery we came to this gas station because it was the closest automated car wash to DC. The guy had no problem jumping our battery again after filling up with gas. The air for her tires was FREE. Free! Then the guy hand washed her car before it went through the car wash. It was like it was personal for him. Let’s get this filthy car looking it’s best. Filthy! Her car is looking good for a ‘91 Civic!
Having just moved to the area, I needed to find auto I could trust to do routine maintenance on my vehicle. The service shop at this Sunoco was recommend to my by several people. After my visit this morning I found out why so many people recommend coming here. Ian was my service advisor and was so friendly and helpful as I dropped off my car. Within an hour, the work was done and the mechanic, Oscar, even topped off my fluids and air in my tires. I could not have been more pleased with the experienced that now I too am recommended this Sunoco to others in the area. Special thanks to Ian and Oscar for making my day!
Recently purchased a used car in Virginia and needed to get a Maryland state inspection. I dropped the car off midday and was met with very friendly staff. The mechanic (I believe it was Edwin?) was very helpful and finished with the inspection much earlier than expected. I immediately received the results summary over email and a call to come pick up the car, and I was able to pick the car up after the mechanic shop was closed but the convenience store was open. It cost $95 which I feel is fair. The overall process was fairly easy and I value that as a first time car owner.
My car is 7 years old. I began using Bethesda Sunoco about 3 years ago. Whenever I take my car in for service, I know I will be listened to and know that the evaluation of the car will be thorough and accurate. Only the work I need will be recommended.Everything is explained to me in language I understand. All services I have had done there were done well, reliably and on time. They will review the general condition of the car and discuss what will be needed in the foreseeable future. I love this because it eliminates surprises and worry down the road. Its like they treat my car as though it is their car.Service is polite and respectful.I wont go anywhere else and will continue to recommend Bethesda Sunoco to everyone I know without hesitation or reservation. They are the best there is. And they will get you to and from the Metro if needed.
Fair, honest, and very personable! I took my Mercedes GL450 to the dealership and they quoted me $4,400 for the work needed. I called Ian at Sunoco and told him exactly what the dealership said and he quoted me $2,200 (without knowing the dealership’s quote). When I brought my car to Ian, they assessed the problem and concluded that the dealership was incorrect in the work needed - they were right! Dealership never again.
I made the mistake of getting my car washed here. “How bad could it be” I thought, since I’ve had decent luck with places like these that offer a quick car wash. Boy was I in for a surprise; you can’t even tell that I got a car wash. It’s almost as if nothing at all happened with my car. I could’ve done a better job with a bucket of water and a toothbrush! I can only imagine what the $8 one would’ve done if the $10 did this. They probably would’ve thrown a bucket of dirt on my car.
I come to this station often and there are frequently problems. Often you have to go inside to pay because the pay at the pump machines are broken.
I stopped in and made a purchase. I asked to use the restroom and was disappointed to be told by the attendant that the restroom was out of service.
I like the location.
Ive been a gas, wash, and SERVICE customer for a long time now. Theyre pros in every regard. Id send my Mom here. Actually I have sent my Mom here! Great, easy, convenient location too, so its really the best option all around.
Id never been here for service before, but decided to give them a try. While trying to find out where and how to drop off my car, the service manager came out and yelled at me for parking in front of the service bay, which I thought was a logical place to park. After he came out and yelled at me, then told me where to park, I stopped to pick up an orange cone that I knocked over while moving and he came out and yelled at me again. Terrible customer service, if you ask me. I can only imagine how they operate once they have your car in a service bay. With so many options for service, why go to a one-off gas station who will treat you with disrespect when there are top-notch operations nearby who will appreciate your business.
Excellent rest rooms even if you have to go number 2.
Took my car at the inspection here. The good part is that you can leave car by night and they will do inspection next day and call you when its done. The bad part is that they account good expensive parts as broken (rack n pinion and shocks with total cost of labor + new parts in about $3k, considering that the car itself price is under $5k).And re inspection in this place costs $45...SO cant recommend to choose this location for inspection.
Not too bad of a place I needed gas and they had it. The service was ok and they have a lot of amenities at this location. The prices were average. So all in all good place.
I have been taking my cars in for service for the past 8 years and the quality of service is above and beyond. You will be hard pressed to find such quality of service coupled with the honesty and integrity that comes with every repair. I honestly cant imagine taking my car anywhere else. Thank you Bethesda Sunoco for keeping me on the road!!
This is just a great place I always fill up my tank at this place. Great service great location and always accessible For all of thee above the prices is well worth it.
This location appears to be closed and is no longer branded Sunoco.
MIKE IS THE MAN!Im new to the area and I needed my car to pass the Maryland Safety Inspection. I went elsewhere and was quoted for something ridiculous at over $3,000 in repair costs to pass inspection. I had Mike from Sunoco redo my inspection and he quoted me honestly at a little over $1100 in repair costs.Ill take my car to Mike for anything in the future. Im a woman in my 20s unfamiliar with automotive work, but this experience convinced me Mike wont pull wool over my eyes. Ill continue to refer him to anyone I know. Thanks, Mike!
I never been here before, but one of this days a was working in bethesda and had to buy gas, well I fill five gallon in five galon containers and I got way les about a galon less then the five gallons mark I showed the gas representative and he did agree with me that it was not five gallons in my container, but I paid for five gallonsIf I was the owner I would have the pumps checked, the gas representative did say that they agriculture department comes once a year and they passed i dont know when they came i do have video and pictures
Great service and FANTASTIC mechanics, I have taken several cars in for everything from an oil change to a new transmission. I highly recommend at least getting a second opinion from them before doing any work on car.
I went there for a flat tire and figured can also get the oil changed. One of the mechanics, Ian, told me tires need to be changed and gave an estimate for $250 over the phone. When I went back to pick my car the actual bill was $373 and when I pointed out that is not the estimate he gave me and insisted for the price to be corrected, Ian told me just do not come back.I ended up paying $290.
Great place to stop and get a drink Im use to the cheap prices stuff here is high dollar not just here everywhere in this area
Conveniently located off Wisconsin Ave. And gas is always reasonably priced.
Jan 2018 - Car wash prices are $8 or $10. Got a $1 discount with gas purchase. Car wash entrance is a bit hard to find - you have to go over by the garage service door then loop back from there.
Great location, easily accessible, and the prices arent bad.
Clean gas station but not cost effective for fuel prices.
The worst service ever I have¡¡¡¡
Very clean restroom
Lots of products, car wash and repairs.
Very expensive
