We bought a used 2011 Jeep Compass from Chad Estep. Our experience was excellent. Chad was not pushy and went above and beyond. He stayed almost an hour late so we could come pick up the vehicle. About 1 month after purchase, Chad called and said that they had a record of a check engine light that they had not addressed. He also said that he had found a spare key for the vehicle. The following week, the problem was fixed free of charge. Patrick in service was professional and fast.I appreciate the honesty and work ethic shown by these individuals. In this day and age it was refreshing to have them reach out AFTER the sale to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase.

Ive been doing business there for years under multiple owners. Todays service experience was the worst. I initially called to make an appointment for an oil and filter change. I made the appointment and when the service scheduler read it back to confirm, stated that a tire rotation was also included. I didnt need or want a rotation but was informed that it was in the price of $60, so I might as well get it.I scheduled the appointment for 9:00 am. I got a confirmation email stating that it was for 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:30. My car sat in the service queue until 9:45am. Apparently, there was only one guy there changing the oil. The whole thing took an hour, and my tires werent rotated, but was charged for it.

Don’t buy from here, especially the 2013 civic si for sale, the thing is a lemon, it doesn’t idle properly the alignment is completely out of Wack. The window seals are completely rotted out, with many other issues I don’t need to go into. The best part is the throttle completely cut out on me during a test drive. After the test drive I told the salesman what price I wanted to pay for it. Not 5 minutes later he handed me my keys and said sorry 18.5 is the best we can do. Didn’t appraise my trade, didn’t even attempt to show me numbers/ work with me on the numbers. It was a complete waste of time!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I brought my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder to Friendship Nissan for a CVT fluid flush, a great experience everyone there was very helpful and very welcoming, they finished the flush a lot sooner then I would have thought it would take.
They tried to rip us off on the purchase of our nissan lease. We saved $600 dollars just by making a call to wilkesboro nissan. If we had known that your fees were almost double of a neighboring dealership, we could have saved the drive and our time. Why would we pay another $150.00 to inspect a vehicle, that we have been in possession of for 3 years? Maybe being upfront on the phone, that the dealership is 90% higher on fees, would be more efficient than trying to trick them in your office.
Made appt. they got me in real quick. When I arrived they took car right in.
Great team of salespeople. They got to know us and made recommendations based on us and what we needed in a vehicle. Michael worked hard to get us in a vehicle. I just stopped in to get air in my tires. They were happy to help out. They had a nice waiting area and the showroom was really clean. As far as anything else, I couldnt comment but the man in charge of maintenance was very cordial and happy to oblige.

My car was well taken care of and staff were polite when speaking with me. However, I was shocked to see that hardly any staff members were wearing masks. Few clients or patrons were wearing masks either. I will not be returning here during the COVID-19 pandemic nor will I recommend Friendship Nissan to anyone at this time.
I bought my last three cars here and the staff has always been great. Got an oil change today and felt the price was way too high. Will have to shop around for service prices in the future.

Very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, and their HONESTY! My Nissan, so I was told elsewhere, needed a new air bag sensor. Nissan ordered the part, and scheduled my appointment. An hour later, they told me that it was the bracket holding the sensor, not the sensor itself. It was hundreds of dollars cheaper to repair the bracket! Their honesty is commendable! Another dealership or repair shop could have used that as an opportunity to rip me off. Not AutoStar Nissan! My hats off to you all! Great work!

Original spoke with John on a Saturday morning and drove 3.5 hours to look at a truck that he knew I was coming to see and hopefully buy only to pull in and him be selling it to some one self.Flash forward to meeting Jeff the sales manager and Marian the saleswomen who worked very hard to find and work a sweet deal on a beautiful truck for later the next week and her and Jeff made the number work for me. To be able to get the truck. Super nice people. And when I spoke with her and Jeff about the truck and then drove 3.5 hour to look at it it was still there. so if u want a sales person to work with on a nice vehicle and make sure ur happy call or go by and ask for Marian.
Called about the Rogue SV internet sale price. Was told by the GM the internet price is just a price point and was quoted another price about $3000 above the the internet final price. not including the doc fee, tax and title which I know are added to the total. I purchased the 2015 Rogue at another dealership by shopping internet sale price. I had no problems with the 2015 transaction. Im losing faith in Nissan.

Thank you to Kevin, Chris, Matt, Bill, and Tj for really taking good care of me while on my visit up to Boone where I lived and called home for 20 years. After a nightmare of an experience and one hassle after another with another Nissan Dealership in a different region, I reached out to Friendship Nissan to see what could be done about the problematic certified preowned 2017 AWD Rogue I had purchased from the other dealership less than 60 days prior. After driving their AWD Rogue models, I realized what a safe vehicle was supposed to feel and sound like. Chris and Kevin listened to my concerns, collaborated with their corporate division, and consulted with my last dealership to ensure that I would have money coming back to me from the previous purchase. They were able to line me up with Nissan financing at even half the interest rate that I currently had. The experience was such that anytime I am ready to trade my vehicle, I will take the trip back up to Boone to do so. I generally am not a fan of having to deal with salesmen and car dealerships, but everyone at Friendship made the experience positive and hassle-free. Considering this is my first ever public Google review, that is definitely saying something. Thank you!!

I had to have an oil change...they offered to rotate my tires and told me I needed to change my air filter, also my battery was beginning to corrode. Our inspection was out at the end of June and I had forgotten they took care of that too. Great experience.

You guys did a great job, as always.My car was low on oil, and it was due an oil change anyway, so I came in and Thomas helped me schedule my 30,000 mile service checkup. I didnt get his name, but the younger mechanic with a beard saw me adding oil to my car, and gave me some helpful advice about checking the other fluids in my car -- it turns out the engine coolant needed to be topped off, and it might be the reason my car was low on oil.On the day of my appointment Reed checked me in, went over a few service options with me, and helped me pick the one my car needed most. Fortunately you guys help me take care of my car, so it just needed a basic service for now. Before I left, your mechanic Daniel, and the Parts manager Chris, made sure I knew which engine coolant my car needed, and how to keep an eye on it in the future. They were right, by the way. I could tell my car was running cooler after being topped off -- even the A/C was cooler!I really appreciate you guys helping me stay on the road. I will definitely be back, and recommend you guys.
I highly recommend that you go anywhere else to purchase a car. They are a bunch of no good lying thieves. I was looking at a used Frontier that was traded in the day I was there looking. I was told it needed to go through service before we could do anything. I was told by Gary that the car was mine and that they would not do anything with it until it finished the service. Several days later I went by there to check on the status of it. I spoke to John Martin and Gary and they said they had someone coming to buy it before it came out of service and my only option was to go ahead and purchase it without even getting to test drive it. DO NOT GO HERE. Gary and John are the worst.

Went in to get a new to me car and walked out with a brand new one in addition to the new to me car! I was absolutely dumbfounded and elated.
I needed the tailpipe to be clamped back on, only to be told that I didn’t have a muffler! I did report a loud noise coming from the front end when booking a service, then it stopped. I was told that I had lost the Muffler, that was why the noise had stopped and that the tailpipe could not be attached. My husband checked, the muffler was still in place, we sent 3 pictures to the general manager.I knew I needed new spark plugs as per last service so asked for them this service. Still didn’t get them until I asked if I had new ones. Was told no, even though they told me mine were burnt out! So they took my Titan back and replaced the spark plugs.I reported during the service call that the tire pressure warning light stayed on, I was told that it had been repaired. However when I went to leave after this lengthy service it was still on. I went back, to be told that a sensor was bad! What the heck, go here if you want a simple oil change. I drove from Grassy Creek NC to Boone because I believe in Nissan. 2nd time this has happened.General Manager knows about my complaint and still no communication from him.All they want to do is sell you a vehicle.
I have been searching for the perfect car for over a year, I have been to many dealerships and have never been treated the way I was treated by John . I walked in ready to buy, I fell in love with the rogue after my year long search. I however was treated with no respect and pushed to the side.. John was working with another couple and the man in the office with the big glass windows and a northern accent asked us to wait over there ( And as far as I could tell there were several other agents available), I was not shown to the lounge or even offered water/coffee. I waited for around 45 mins and no one ever came back to help me so I left. Go to one of the many other dealers in this town. Autostar- especially John dont want your business
I brought my Honda to the Nissan service center for years before buying a new Nissan. Ive had great experiences with service through a number of issues, including an instance where they were up front about the fact that I needed to go to Honda for a problem they couldnt definitively diagnose due to a cryptic computer code (and which then took Honda several days to correctly address). The sales people were pleasant, helpful, and communicative when I bought my Rogue.

I used the coupon I received in the mail for an oil change on my 2015 Versa. Service was quick and thorough. I would suggest, however, that a complimentary vacuum of the cars interior at the time of service would be very welcome. My dealer in CT used to do this and we loved it. A week or so later, I bought a new 2019 Nissan Kicks at Autostar Nissan of Boone and am very happy with it. This is the 3r car I have purchased there.
I have had several unpleasant visits. Last one had discounts (which were used and given) BUT they chose to do a FULL SYNTHETIC,(which is the most expensive) and they have ALWAYS DONE A SYNTHETIC BLEND) no one asked me.... So instead of a $25 oil change it was $50..... This place has hoodooed me beforePLUS....A FULL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE IS A WASTE ON MY CAR...... U STILL ARE RECOMMENDED TO CHANGE OIL EVERY 3OR4 THOUSAND MILES..... might as well do synthetic blend.....I may be a women, but Im not stupid......

I came to University Nissan after dealing with a local dealership that, to put it lightly, treated me like I was an idiot. As soon as I showed up at University Nissan I was greeted by Josh who I quickly explained my previous experience to and within minutes we were sitting in his office talking numbers. I had spent two days at the first local dealership trying to tell them I was not paying the outrageous amount they came out with after falling in love with the 2014 Nissan Sentra. Josh understood my situation and immediately introduced me to the manager, Steve. Steve was beyond courteous and since Im a visual person, he showed me his computer where everything was calculated-my down payment, interest rate, monthly payments, etc. There were no secrets and the first monthly payment he offered me was already lower than the first place I had been after 2 days of negotiating! Neither of them put any pressure on me to make a decision and I even told them I would have bought my car here regardless if he was a little higher on the price because they made up for everything with the level of customer service they provided. My allergies were giving me a fit that day and they even went as far as bringing me a pack of Kleenexs and a trash can so I felt more comfortable! As a former Customer Service Manager, Im a firm believer in how you treat a customer and this dealership definitely knows how to win someone over. I have and will continue to recommend this dealership to all of my family and friends that are in the market for a new car. The next day when I went back to pick up my shiny new ride (since it was transferred from another dealership) Josh sat in the car with me going over all the latest technology and made sure I was comfortable with all the cars new features before I left. Even while I was waiting outside to leave, the Service Manager (apologies as I do not remember his name) came and introduced himself, congratulated me on my new purchase, and assured me they would take care of me and my car whenever needed. I give this dealership a perfect rating because that is exactly what they earned! Thank you to everyone there-- Keep up the good work!
Quoted a price for service. Actual price MUCH higher. Received coupon in mail for $100 off. Service manager “that’s misleading I know. It’s only 15% off”. Been getting my 4 Nissans serviced there for years. Not going back. I complain with my wallet. I’ll never spend another dime there again and will direct my friends away from there. Good luck with service like this. Y’all will need it.

Wow!!! I took my vehicle for an oil change. Never again!! My dad warned me when I told him I dropped the truck off. He said that he stopped going there because they always call him and tell him that a bunch of other stuff is wrong with the vehicle and they never used to do that. They told my grandpa and my uncle both that the oil drain plug was stripped out and they needed a new oil pan. I mean what a coincidence that they both had that same thing happen to them. Anyways, I brushed that off and didnt think anything else about it. Sure enough, it wasnt long after that I get a call from them saying that I need about $250 in additional services. Classic oil change scam. I thought they cracked down on that crap after the whole jiffy lube scam was exposed. Apparently not. I expressed my concerns to the service manager and I cant believe how rude and unprofessional he was. What an ass. I strongly advise this dealership take a hard look at who is representing them. I could rant about this a**hole all day. What a nasty individual. I recommend that everyone who takes their vehicle here be on high alert. Better yet just go somewhere else cause your gonna get robbed.
The buying experience at Auto Star Nissian of Boone is top notch. The vehicle had a few minor repair issues that were found during the test drive and the dealership addressed them promptly and to my satisfaction.They actually over charged me for the vehicles tags but sent a refund check a few weeks later. How many dealerships would do that? They could have kept that money and I would have never known the difference. That is honest dealing I appreciate and respect!I would recommend looking at the Boone and surrounding areas for purchasing a Jeep Wrangler in particular and I would definitely recommend you shop Auto Stars prices and service before pulling the trigger anywhere else.They treated my family fairly and I expect they will do the same for you!
