My wife and I went in with questions about our bill and for me a new phone. Issac was working that evening and boy was he a great help! He was very knowledgeable and had the best attitude! Thank you Issac for helping us understand our bill changes and helping me with my new phone purchase.
Never thought I’d say this about any wireless carrier but after getting abysmal customer service via phone support I went into this AT&T store and their customer representative named James fixed both iphone and apple watch in mere minutes as if it were child’s play, and he did it all while carrying on a convivial conservation. Thoroughly impressed. AT&T needs to buy this employee a company car because he commutes in from Elkin. If they’re not careful, AT&T might lose their best employee in my estimation.
Willam the sales representative at the Boone NC store had great customer service skills. He answered all of my questions and helped me get what I needed, which was getting a first phone for my high schooler ! While he helped he also was able to carry on conversation that was natural and made me feel very welcome and appreciated as a customer !
I upgraded my phone and needed help with another phone. I have never written an on-line review before, but I was so impressed with the customer service I received from Isaac, I felt he deserved praise and recognition for being so kind, helpful and patient (I’m not tech savvy at all!) He resolved my issues and explained things as he went along, so a novice could understand. He had a winning personality and was a joy to work with. His associates, William and James, were equally extremely pleasant (and funny!) AT&T Boone NC. I had a great experience replacing a telephone recently. William in Boone, NC, greeted us on entry, asked open ended questions, listened carefully-remembering and answering all of our questions and meeting all of our needs with multiple suggestions, carefully explaining the options and how he could make our plan work best for us. We bought an extra phone and extra equipment and services above our intended visit, yet received better services coverage thanks to Williams thorough explanations. William removed any thought we had of moving to Verizon. Thank you for thoroughly training and making AT&T an enjoyable environment.
They just kept transferring me to another department over and over again and had me caught in a loop for over an hour. I never resolve the issue. I have a fall an AT&T line on my front porch and theres absolutely no way to get them to come to pick it up. I called every number post a bowl and they keep telling me 2 hold on for another department. Finally I tried to report the issue online and the system would not let me do it there either. Total waste of time and still have a falling AT&T line on my front porch
I had the most amazing experience here thanks to two employees: James and William. I had destroyed my phone while skiing the night before and even though James and William would not be getting any extra pay for helping me fill out the insurance claim, they did so anyway with tons of advice and great attitudes. They helped me get the best deal for a new insured phone and even gave me tips on what to do with my last day visiting their city. I am very thankful for both of them!
DO NOT come here!Went to switch from at&t to first net. Originally told they can’t help me and I should do it online. After having issues online and over the phone I was told to go to the store. I spent three hours in the store going in circles. Manager admitted to not knowing how to set up the phone. We asked for a supervisor and he said he was the manager. Instead of calling his resources, he tried to figure it out on his own until I suggested calling first net. The only thing I accomplished after three hours was upgrading a phone and not even put on the right account. I was told a new SIM card would be delivered the next day. It has now been three days and I have not received it. When I left the store I had been told that my first net account was set up, I was off the at&t plan, and a first net account number was created. None of this was true. The next day, I received an email that additional action was needed and my account for first net had never been set up and that I was still on the at&t plan. I had to spend an additional hour on the phone with first net in order to set this up and finally feel confident that it actually is properly set up.When we called to speak with the managers manager a different employee was very short with me and told me she doesnt want to hear from customers.Staff was patient but the helpfulness stopped there.Don’t expect speedy service here. While we were waiting multiple customers came and waited, though many (smart ones) left. In the staff’s defense, he was alone. But he should have said that he didn’t know how to do it and sent us to another store instead of wasting our time.Do not come here to setup an account or change plans. Wasted half an off day to get nothing accomplished. Ive since spent 10 hours in a week trying to undo/fix what was done in the store.

Ethan was AWESOME! He made a normally difficult process of switching carriers easy, fast, and efficient! He was able to multitask without taking away from each individuals experience but instead adding to it by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere! He even had a new employee who hadn’t been there long but I could tell was already taking after him because he was just as respectful and professional! 5 STARS!!!!!!
The rep was VERY knowledgeable and personable, I would go back here ANY time I need something from ATT he knew what I wanted and was very polite as well as friendly.
I went to the store to upgrade my device. They left a new employee there who didnt know how to do barley anything. Although he was nice. The manager who was not there decided upgrading my device was too hard and didnt want to deal with it. So they turned me away and were unable or refused to refund the accessories purchased for the new device. The worst experience Ive ever had with an att store yet.
William was amazing! We walked in 30 minutes before the store was closing and William took great care of us. He didn’t try to push anything on us that we didn’t want. We felt heard and he patiently gave us our options. It was a win-win situation.Thanks, William!
Amazing! Best in-store mobile phone assistance I’ve had from ANY carrier in years! Friendly, helpful, didn’t try and up sell products and services I don’t need. Offered money saving advice & walked me through sign up for my online AT&T app so I could start using it immediately.I had my own device (iPhone 8 plus) and wasn’t harassed to purchase a phone or start a contract. I was in and out with new service working perfectly in only 1/2 hour.***For comparison: I spent 6 hours at Spectrum in Greensboro, NC last week attempting to do the exact same thing and left with no service. I picked my child up after school, went straight there and didn’t finally leave disappointed until well after they had closed @ 9:00 p.m. Most of that period of time was spent WAITING for my turn to see a rep, as I was told I was REQUIRED to visit the store to add this additional phone to my preexisting service with them.
Customer service at this stop is awful. Save your money and don’t waste your time. James was short and rude. They could invest in some customer service skill set lessons.
We have been very happy with AT&T since we switched 3 years ago. Service in and around Boone is great and the staff at this store is excellent! Dylan is particularly knowledgeable and so helpful. He helped us figure out how to upgrade for the most value at the best price. Definitely recommend this store!!
After three days, I’m still upset with the treatment by Ethan at this location. He has no customer service skills and I told him that, to his face. He has an overbearing, loud and unpleasant manner in speaking. Rude doesn’t fully describe his personality. I have been a loyal AT&T wireless customer for many years. I have never received this type of poor service. When we returned home and contacted AT&T customer service, they got our problem fixed immediately. After reporting our experience with Ethan, customer service said he was dead wrong and could have helped us, if he chose. It appears that Ethan only wants to sell new services and not stand behind AT&T products. We will not return to this store location.
Today we upgraded three phones. The service was amazing. We are from another town and have never had such a great experience! They set up our phones while we ran errands! I will always go here for my phone needs. It was vet clean and safe ragarding COVID.
Walked in with cash to buy a new iPhone with no strings attached. States “we can’t do that we are a franchise not corporate” dooses I took my 1200 some where else to buy the phone.

I am totally dissatisfied with my experience at this location. In November, I went in to get a new iPhone since mine (iPhone 6) was no longer holding a charge. The store manager and an employee (I was there 2 days) told me there was a special promotion happening and that I qualified for a FREE iPhone 8. I was NEVER told by either employee that for the phone to be free I’d have to add an additional line. Here it is February and I am being billed $15 a month for 30 months to pay for the phone ($449.99). I would have turned this offer down as I don’t need an additional line.To make matters worse, I am now in another state (Florida) and went into the local AT&T store to see if they could help me. The manager at this store called the manager at the Blowing Rock store and was totally disrespected and verbally abused by the BR store manager. After being rude to her, he refused to continue speaking with her. I tried to talk to him and he refused to speak to me also. The case has now moved to the district manager but no progress has been made. I refuse to pay for this phone that was promised to me as a FREE phone by 2 AT&T employees.By the way, the manager and employees at the Florida store (Tavernier) are excellent. They are professional, friendly and tried to help me as best they could
William was very helpful. This is not an ATT store. Got a Samsung galaxy s20. Problems with microphone and speaker. Finally took back to store. Outside of two week warranty period. William went above and beyond and got ATT customer service involved.

Exchanged my Galaxy S7 for a Galaxy S9 Note at a retail store. Very courteous and professional. Seamless and quick transfer of data and apps to my new phone with very helpful points of interest of the new device. Great rebate for old phone applied towards bundled accessories. Great experience.
I came in today to get help with my account and Norman was SUPER helpful! He provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever had from a salesperson when I wasn’t buying anything. He didn’t rush, he explained what was needed, and he didn’t pressure me into a sale. Thank you, Norman! Keep up the great work!!

They hung up on me when I called the store because I was confused on how the payment plan each month worked. He (the store manager) kept cutting me off on the phone and was super rude. I asked if I could speak to someone higher than him since he kept cutting me off and wasn’t actually helping so he decided to hang up. The customer service here is awful.
Super great service. Went in and a very nice lady named Mary helped me. I think I spent around an hour in there trying to get a phone that was in pieces replaced with a brand new phone on a brand new plan. The service is a big factor for why I stick with with this company. Super friendly and patient!
Norman at the AT&T store was extremely helpful. Less than 30 minutes to get Uverse set up for installation. Installer(s) were there on the date and time they said they would be. Spent hours but when it was done, everything worked the way it should. They came and buried the line within 2 weeks as well. In the past, I have had less than stellar service from AT&T but this Boone crew was the best.
My I phone was stolen at a gas station while on vacation! I was totally distraught! Norman helped me immensely and was wonderful with all info I needed to replace rapidly! After I received the new phone he helped me set it up! Could not ask for better service!!!

Went today to purchase a cable. There were two employees and two customers in the store. They were both helping other customers. But mostly one of them just seemed to be chatting with the customer. I asked if I could jump in and pay for the cable. Employee said no that he was in the middle of something. I waited another 10 mins or so. Still chatting. I left without purchasing cable. I give two stars because the employees seemed very friendly, just not very good at multi-tasking.
Evan is a real problem solver and has helped us on two occasions. I would highly recommend dealing with him.

AT&T is not a great service provider to work with. They do not return phone calls and offer services where services should be available. Would never recommend to anyone
As a business owner I hate leaving one star reviews but I also hate not being informed of add on charges that would be added when signing up for a service. When being told my bill would be $40 I recieved a $70 bill they then told me I was locked into because I didnt cancel before 14 days. I recieved my first bill after 30 there was no way to know of them overcharging and adding things until I recieved the bill. The store refused to tell me the name of the person who opened my account and did these things as well. Completely unprofessional and they have screwed me over with a 20 month lock in. All I can say is either get the name of who ever you do business with or just do not do business with this store at all. I have been an At&t customer for 12 years and this is completely unacceptable .

Every time Ive been there the customer is consistently very slow even though theyre never busy. Give yourself at least an hour when you go, no matter what it is that you go in for.
Terrible Internet service. We have called and had them fix our Internet several times and it never seems right. Its about time you do your jobs or Im switching to Charter. I am in school and its frustrating that I cannot study in my own house. This is ridiculous. Your customer service is awful too. Never talked to anyone so rude before.

I would not recommend At&t to any one I got robbed sold a phone to me stating it was unlocked luckily I found out that it was not when I take the phone back got penilised for something that was not my fault and on top of that I had taken a plan which was non refundable my advice to everyone is not to buy At&t phones robbing me of the money I worked so hard for
