Clean and very well stocked. Employee assisting with self-checkout was very helpful and friendly!

First time there, great selection. Butcher was super helpful with processing chicken breasts into cutlets. Not from North Carolina so my opinion of staff training may be different than what happens, but tomatoes under heavier vegetables, sharp packaging spearing other packaging. Store end caps making transition to next isle difficult to exit isle and enter register area.

Very nice grocery store in town. Clean with friendly service. Had a solid beer selection, which was my major motivation for visiting.

Only reason I dont give them 5 is because its expensive but everyone knows that. Plus if you hustle their deals you can still do good. Its an awesome store. Bring back the weekend DJ in the wine section

Harris Teeter has one of the best selections especially foods I can find. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but the prices are hi. However, they reflect the quality of their products.

Shopping at Harris Teeter is such a pleasure; the store is very well organized and always stocked well. I moved to Boone 7 months ago and discovered Harris Teeter where the Staff made me feel very welcomed. I look forward to checking their App for the weekly specials and preparing my shopping list. My daughter looks forward to our weekly trips and going to the Starbucks inside the store. So happy we found Harris Teeter.

H-T is regarded as one of the finest groceries in the community. It offers lots of organic and ethnic foods, has its own pizzeria; gourmet bakery, huge selection of cheeses, made-to-order sushi at lunch, a large floral department, and a Starbucks!

The store is wonderful. Some of the other shoppers are incredibly rude. Ive had more run-ins with rude people there than any other place in this town. But the service is here is wonderful and they have some great deals if you know where to look. Just be prepared for some snobs.

You can find about anything youre looking for. The deli/bakery is great! The fried chicken is the best!

Known locally as Harry Teeter, this exclusive hardware store has it all. The shopping carts are conveniently located by the magical automatic doors which are kept operational by a staff Shaman. Just inside is a wonderful playground for your inner checkout clerk - stop by after you visit its sprawling wine country to be carded by a Philosophy major.

Im an ASU student and I do all of my shopping at HT in Boone. The store is always clean and organized, and the products are good quality. They also have happily helped me with some issues with my VIC card, and I am able to save a good amount of money shopping there with the student discount/other deals they offer.

Great place to shop. As always Harris Teeter puts Publix to shame. Better all-around shopping experience. Only thing that could make it better is a face lift for this store. The remodel that was done many years ago is starting to show its age.

The only downside is that they dont have a pharmacy at this location, but the product selection and quality is always above expectations. I have never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes to check out with the exception of one time about 7am when I had to wait for the clerk at the self checkout to come help with a coupon override, but even then it was less than 3 minutes. Very nice, clean, well staffed and stocked store.

Monday is pizza day in the deli. The pizza is awesome!!!

The place to go in Boone for quality meat. Chad is a great butcher and always recommends the best!

Great stores but terrible to their employees. Our local store is telling their employees (mostly students in Boone NC) they have to cut back hours. Then, I see ads everywhere that they’re hiring part-time. Makes no sense and unfair to the kids that actually want to work.

It used to be so great, Ive been coming here ever since I was little. We came here today and could smell the fish from the entrance. Walked to the back and there was slimey chicken breasts touching seasoned wings. Disgusting, hope to see this place return to its former glory.Update: Today we went back, entire deli area being cleaned and scrubed, excellent

Produce is nice and fresh as is the meat selections too. Has an expansive selection of alcohol. Also has a deli that makes fresh food daily. There is a Starbucks inside also. Associates have also been nice and friendly. Would recommend to everyone to shop here.

I’ve been a happy customer for years, especially as someone who works evenings and can only get to the grocery store late at night. Harris Teeter was the only grocery store in Boone open past midnight and I loved that they were open when I had the time to shop. The decision to change the hours was a huge mistake and I am now left with no option other than Walmart with their piss-poor selection.If Harris Teeter extends their hours again, I will happily change this review to five stars, but as it stands they have lost a longtime customer and the business of any service worker or student who needs a 24HR grocer.

This Harris Teeter is always nice and clean. They also have a good selection of gluten free items and other foods for those with special dietary needs. My favorite thing is the make your own trail mix bar!!!

Love this store. Great customer service and product selection. Cashiers always very friendly and they go out of their way to keep you from waiting in line. Spend $100 and get 10 cents off per gallon of gas. Also get email notifications of great “eVIC” member special pricing 😀

I look forward to my trips to Boone so I can swing by HT. The salad bar is one of my favorites. I like the Starbucks option as well. The bakery is great. Store is clean. Overall atmosphere is above average. I love it. Keep up the good work.

I had a rain check for 3 of the deals where you buy 1 6 pack of Mtn Dew and get 2 free. I went to Customer Service Desk and everything was fine. He told me I could just go through the check out and they would take care of me. Well, the cashier, Sierra, wanted to argue with me about it. I finally told her to do what ever so i could just get outta there. I have been a Customer Service Manager for several years now, and her I wish I was anywhere else, Im too good for this job attitude turned me into one of those customers that as a manager I hate to deal with.Then when she tells me not to get an attitude it almost put me over the edge. She then just walked off to the Customer Service Desk without saying a word. When she came back, I did get 3 of the deals. No explanation of what she was doing or apology for her extremely poor customer service. So for customer service I give you a zero or less. She obviously needs to grow up and learn to pick her battles. I had to give 1 star in order to post this but dealing with Sierra is less than 1.

Very nice grocery store in all aspects except 2 in my opinion. The first being that over in the deli area where, sub sandwiches are made to order the department runs daily sandwich specials for $3.49 I believe yet, they do not mark the particular sandwich special I order on the actual sub sandwich packaging which, causes a conflict at the checkout lanes or at least in my personal experience. The cashier rings up the 6 sub sandwiches special at the regular $4.49 price as any other 6 sub. I do not have a Harris Teeter discount card however, the cashier used the stores courtesy discount card yet, my sub sandwich was still priced at $4.49 plus tax so I had to go back into the store to receive my $1.00 refund. The daily sub sandwich specials should be marked on the sandwich packaging or barcode to avoid this overcharge in my opinion. Secondly, I feel that customers should not need numerous grocery store and pharmacy store discount cards which, overrun ones wallet. I totaled my cards up and I have more than 9 cards which, is ridiculous and a waste of plastic in my opinion. All stores should offer their best and lowest price everyday as do other major stores in my opinion. It clearly works for the other major grocers so we know it is possible to operate without all of these discount cards. If these cards didnt fill ones wallet there would be more room for cash in our wallets to spend in the store. Therefore, I now avoid these discount cards and request the stores courtesy discount card to be used to free up space in my wallet. Examine your store receipt carefully is my advise. I feel that if the store is going to promote or offer specials then make sure that the customer actually receives the special price or have the cashiers ask if you are purchasing a store special.

Great customer service. I love the employees in the meat department and the produce department. If I need anything anywhere in the store I go to them because they always are willing to help. Harris Teeter has the best Bakery Pizza in town. Great store with great people working there.

The harris teeter of boone is a very nice place. They offer a wide variety of products..... but these store favors the college of app state and non local consumers. Or at least that was the impression I got from them

I love the Buy 2 Get 3 free sales. My only complaints are that they sell things that are expired and sometimes I forget to check the dates and get home to find I cant eat the food; they also CONSTANTLY rearrange the dairy section and its extremely annoying because every week items are in new locations; and thirdly, one of the managers degrades the cashiers and I am offended for them, they dont need to be treated badly because they are so nice, but the manager is really rude and needs an attitude check.

Used to be the best grocery store in town. Competitor comes to town, and beats them. Lots of empty spaces on shelves. Out of several items resulting in my having to go to that competitor. Competitors staff is friendlier and better trained. Needs to step up their game in all areas.

This store is always excellent. The people are friendly and extremely helpful. Even on really busy days, if there is a wait, it isnt very long and the cashier isnt rude when you get up to them. Though this store is a little on the expensive side they have good sale items and BOGO. Their shelves are well stocked and organized. I most always find what I am looking for.

Harris Teeter is my grocery store. The placement of items makes sense, and the meats, veggies and fruit are fresh. Michelle, a manager who has been there a long time, always goes out of her way to greet folks, speak and people feel good about shopping at HT!

Best grocery shopping in Boone. HT runs great weekly specials, with many BOGO items, and often buy 2 get 3 free specials. I stock up on coffee with these, and even shrimp. Speaking of shrimp, HT has a great selection of seafood and steaks at their meat department, and their deli has half-price sub sandwiches--even available as wraps--all day Friday.

The employees are hard working trying to keep up wiythese crazy times. Thank you.
