Updating my feedback as a rebound from previously unpleasant experience. Got a call from management and received a very nice complimentary offer. Will visit again to reinstate my impressions from Ritz. Will update again in early October, when I come back.

Stayed 2 nights at the Ritz Carlton Astana. The building was excellent and what we expected of a five star hotel. Room was of good size and pool was very nice. But the gem of the hotel was the staff. They were genuinely warm and welcoming and made every effort to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one. Kudos to Tom and his team! Well done!
Excelent service from the reservation until the check-out. The staff made me feel like the most important guest, always ready to help with any need. Amazing breakfast. Very good location, near the best tourist attractions. Great SPA facilities. Perfect!
This is an exceptional hotel! Their staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure their guests have everything they need at their disposal. The staff is courteous and friendly yet not overbearing. The breakfasts are delectable and will please even the most demanding of foodies. The gym is well equipped and does not feel like a hotel gym at all. I spent 4 very busy days at this property and could not give them a high enough rating. I would like to specifically mention Sumbat and Viacheslav from the Mokki restaurant who have given myself and my boss incredible attention and truly made us feel very special. Also, I would also like to give kudos to Olzas from the front desk who ensured that out check out process was smooth and pleasant. Overall, staying at this hotel is a phenomenal experience!!! Would absolutely love to come back and stay here again!
The managers and staff at this hotel were beyond fantastic. We were there for seven nights so we got to know the staff well and they made us feel like family. They were fun to talk to during our stay and they also gave us great information on places to shop and visit.
My stays with the Ritz-Carlton have been nothing short of SUPERB! The staff at the Ritz-Carlton in Nur-Sultan (Astana) are simply AMAZING! They are kind, courteous, and they always make me feel like I am the only person in the venue! Well done! I will most certainly book my next stay with the Ritz-Carlton!

One of the best hotels in Kazakhstan. Nice, posh rooms, very comfy, always fresh fruits at check-in. Breakfasts are amazing, can always find what you need. Fresh salmon, red caviar, amazing waffles. Even simple eggs are masterpiece, 5 stars to that. Should definitely include south-east asian food into the menu, which since the opening havent changed much and getting boring. Unfortunately, some of the rooms are getting old, broken glass on the table, loose mirrors in the bathroom. Very good gym with nice equipment and amazing pool. Spa is a hilarious, very nice entrance to the spa, but when you enter into a massage tiny room with barely no air, all the sensation are drifted away. Would not reccomend spending money on Spa, not worth it at all. Overall, its a very good hotel in a center of Astana.
After flying halfway around the world, it is delightful to end your journey at the Ritz-Carlton Astana. The quality of the Ritz-Carlton Astana property is exceeded only by the warmth and professionally of its staff. I told friends afterward that while Ive never been a guest at someones palace, I feel like I have now. Though I arrived at the beginning of a long holiday weekend, the hotel was in top form. Everyone seemed to know my name and greeted me personally throughout my stay. The spa was beautiful and helpful for conquering jet lag. Mokki has a wonderful breakfast buffet and I enjoyed a terrific steak there. If you go, be sure to try the local Arba wines. I found pinot noir outstanding.
The service at the Ritz Carlton is superb. Every person is courteous to a fault, engaged, enthusiastic, cheerful, responsive and helpful. People anticipate your needs and desires, and then they assist you in satisfying them, in comfort. For those of us who travel at the whim of a client and have to change plans, flexibility in scheduling is critical, and no hotel does it better than the Ritz Carlton. The bathroom lighting is excellent, and the mirrors are of high quality, clear, without distortions, and properly spaced from the front of the counter; a person can actually see their face when shaving (and that is not true in most hotels). Luxurious showers. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. The internet works well, and at speeds that allow viewing of movies without disruption. There are an adequate number of electrical and USB outlets, and they are located for convenience of use (which is rare in hotels, and a matter of frustration for those of us who have to work out of our hotel room). The pillows are like home.
Definitely the most stylish place in Nur-Sultan, nice lounge in the lobby, nice sunday brunches. Very good food in Selfie-restaurant, although staff might appear a bit on the arrogant side sometimes.
I only visited their restaurant, great experience!The service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. Great location too (restaurants on the top floor, a great vantage point to see the baiterek area). Its definitely spacious, not overcrowded and easy to access.I recommend it especially at night when the city lights up.Super experience, I recommend visiting that restaurant.
I spent 12 days at the RC Astana and had a wonderful experience. The staff was first rate, especially the folks working in the executive lounge on the 14th floor. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Astana who needs a 5-star hotel.

This was my first stay at the Ritz Carlton in Astana, I have stayed at most of the good hotels in Astana during my numerous past trips to the city, I found my stay at the Ritz Carlton to to be very welcoming. The hotel is located very central, saves time to go to meetings. It is modern and comfortable. They can improve the internet speed!
Excellent hotel right in the centre of the city. They have a very nice spa well. For those looking for global cuisines they organize periodic sunday brunches with chefs from around the world :)
As I mentioned before we had wonderful 3 days and We have decided to come back and stay in summer, thank you all the hotel staff making our stay pleasant.

People at Ritz Astana were amazing with the way they treat you and eager to help during my stay. I stayed several times before. Rooms are specious and design is great. It is obviously being managed very professionally.
The place lives up to its 5star status. Been to the Ozen lounge only, but can feel the difference from the entrance. Would love to stay a night or two just for the experiences sake

The hotel is good, the front desk service a little less so.I arrived at 8:00 am was given my room, and charged for 2 nights, while I only slept for 1

The Astana Ritz-Carlton is a beautifully maintained property with all the usual extras, however what really stood out was the superb service - staff here meet the highest international standards of the sort more often associated with South-East Asian countries. Astana itself is primarily a business destination - perfectly pleasant but without significant tourist interest other than some striking modern architecture.
Unfortunately only on place one night. Would have loved to explore the services of the hotel more. Overall impression, GREAT!

Good food.I tried business meal-buffet with main course can be selected from 4 options-I tried lamb which was served with rice..Nice ambiance. Friendly staff.The restaurant manager a Russian guy,called an Indian Chef and told me that he will cook if am looking for Indian food-i was very touched with that.
Nice interiorbut the service, serving dishes, dishes, etc. below the level of st regis astana (as I remember, the price category is identical)there is no hand lotion in the latrineswaiters, room and dishes (at banquets) do not match the level of the institution

The Ritz Carlton exceeded my expectations and my only regret is that I only stayed one night. My wife and I were doing a day tour of Nur Sultan before I flew back to the US. Next time we visit, we will definitely stay at the Ritz longer!
If you consider a journey to Astana, you have to stay in this hotel! This hotel provides the next level of luxury and hospitality.I have never seen such elegant and classy rooms before. The rooms are fully smart home connectable, with futuristic control panels and sensors plus an extra fast wifi signal.The entire hotel is exclusive and highclass, not only the in/exterieur, also the hotel-staff. They are well educated and very diligent. A great hard working crew, that made any tiny detail perfect for us.The spa is well endowed and super clean, what is very very very important for me.I did really not expect this perfection. It is the best hotel Ive ever been in.
