Problems with my carpet purchase and installation from start to finish. Not yet resolved because no one will return my call. My carpet was installed in such a way that two long, very apparent seams run right through the middle of my living room. The carpet on my stairs pulled up the first time I vacuumed.

Helpful and friendly staff members made shopping a breeze. I had a long list of items from all over the store and the associates made short work of filling it.

Rarely go there. Only went since they had the basin wrench I needed and Lowes didnt. Hard to find any help at any given time.... had to look for the wrench (plumbing dept) and self check out... not a single person said hello or acknowledge presence... self check out also, 2 employees there talking to each other & did not acknowledge me either. Got 3 stars simply because they had what I needed.

The sales person in the appliance section did not know anything about dishwashers, that did not really matter because I did my research on-line. I was told the dishwasher I wanted was in the warehouse and would be delivered to the store within 2 weeks. for me to pick up. However, after 2 weeks Home Depot called and told me the sales person filled out my order wrong so the order was never processed, and that the dishwasher was now sold out and I would have to wait 5 months for delivery. Typical poor Home Depot service and experience.

The WORST customer service I have encountered in a store!! I was guaranteed a return on a defective product and was told to wait for them to pickup at my home. The NDS Company (useless!) kept emailing but never came to pick it up. I drove 35 miles to return it to the store 10 days later and the young kid at Customer Service refused to give me a credit. He said store credit only and refused to get the manager. I am now a NEVER AGAIN HOME DEPOT CUSTOMER. You idiots just lost a customer who spent over $5,000 this past year over a $120 issue....and I will get it back from my credit card company. Learn how to treat a customer by LISTENING AND USING YOUR BRAIN.

Always hit or miss with customer service. Most a miss. Closed isles for no reason, when asked I was told I couldnt go in even though no work was happening. I guess they dont want our business. Inventory is always scattered. Once I looked for a door for over 45 minutes. Online said they had 5, they really had 1. Go across the street instead.

I was doing a job in Bozeman and Im from Arizona...I just wanna give a shout out to the young fella with kinda longer black curly hair and the middle aged fella with an Australian? accent who was in the plumbing dept/area...you both were always so very kind, professional and knowledgeable and helpful too. I dont get upset when thats not the case because we all have to learn somehow...however, its always a pleasure to be assisted/helped by folks like yourselves...yall helped me incredibly. I dont think they could possibly jam any more product into the aisles it makes it incredibly difficult to walk from one end of the store to the other people are literally bumping into each other its ridiculous. I know they want to get products out to get them sold but there has to be a better way my advice to shoppers is stay off the main aisle go one Ill over at least that is free of products and junk theyre trying to push.

Home Depot generally has whatever we go there for. Whether its plumbing related or outdoor bbq, or indoor plants,they have always had what we needed. Knowledgeable staff as well.

I would not buy appliances through Home depot they cant get them and there policys prevent them from refunding your money to you in a timely manner. It took 2 weeks for us to get our money back for a washer and dryer after waiting for 3 months for them to be delivered. We ordered them on March 7th they called end of May stating they would not be delivered June 2nd as they said the new delivery date was July 5th maybe. So we canceled the order and bought the same ones from Freds appliances and they had them in stock picked them up the same day. Homedepot would not refund us till they got there money back from a third party, I bought these from Homedepot not the third party they should have refunded me immediately.

Very limited on items. The person we asked to help was quick to tell us how they were the 2nd smallest Home Depot in the country and that I could order items at their kiosk. When Im working on a project I dont have time to order online. I need it when I need it. Otherwise, I would just order online and not go to the store.

If you purchase any item that requires delivery dont. They use a secondary company which they have no control over. They promise items will be delivered between certain hours. They cannot tell you if it will be late or delivered on another day or time, they have no control over the delivery company and cannot call them on the phone they can only message them and hope they respond. I canceled a $1400 + order because they could not tell me when it would be delivered. Went thru all sorts of hoops to get money returned.

Francis not very good manager. Had an order they said would be there. Did not arrive And when my client went to get materials they had made the trip for nothing. How about calling to let people know their order didnt come in. Store offered no help and in fact was rude about causing me time and money.

Home Depot is great for its good deals on tools and always having the supplies that I need to get a job done. I had to go to Home Depot yesterday at 6 in the morning to pick up 12 sheets of Durock and although I bought this last nine off the floor customer service was willing to go above and beyond and find me three more that way I could finish my job for the day. They also always seem to know exactly where everything is at in that store no matter what employee that you ask.

Aint as pretty as Lowes and half the time you cant find anyone who works there, regardless of them being wrapped in a pumpkin orange apron, but they have what you need, usually better prices, and their sales seem to always be better than Lowes. Dont bother trying to shop here. I was looking at garbage disposals and had a staff member and a customer literally walk right in front of me and act like I wasnt there. They proceeded to have an entire conversation while standing in front of me backing into me to where I had to move and my husband walked up and said lets go to Lowes.

Employees are kind, about half of them can help you find something in the store, and there are a small few you could ask for expert advice, but lets face it: one does not go to a Home Depot to learn how to do complicated home repairs from an employee there.I mean, I love Wal-Mart and shop there all the time, but I wouldnt go to Wal-Mart looking for fashion advice or tips on how to decorate my home.If you want expert advice or specialized parts, go to Owenhouse.If you need supplies they dont carry at the hardware store, if youre a do it yourself kind of person, the project isnt too big, and you need lumber or generic hardware, plumbing or electrical supplies, its great to have a Home Depot (and the store across the street) in town.And, as Ive said, while not everyone there will send you in the right direction for what youre looking for, the people there are very nice.

Staff very helpful store is clean had everything we need

I was originally super happy with the price of both my washer/dryer and flooring purchase plus they had free installation on the flooring. I paid for everything in November 2020 and due to covid deliveries and installation was pretty far out. I completely understood. My washer/dryer was set to be delivered at the end of December. I called the day before to make sure everything was set and magically the truck got into an accident and my washer/dryer was damaged. Not only was I out a washer/dryer but they couldn’t even tell me they could get another set sent. I just canceled the order. Then my flooring was set to be installed on January 26th. Again I called the day before the scheduled day of install and what do you know. Their installer was sick so they had to cancel and push it back. That was fine I understood emergencies but then they called again the day before the rescheduled installation date to cancel again. This time vehicle problems. I guess you get what you pay for. Never purchasing anything from Home Depot again. I learned my lesson. If I could give zero stars I would.

The bathrooms are almost as clean as back in the day when I used to clean them! On the day I visited the staff were cool as hell.....so of course I had to stroke the engines of industry...I got a real good pair of gloves for this winter and at a decent price.

The store manager was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with in retail. He would not talk to me like I was anymore than a lowly piece of dirt on his shoe and I was an inconvenience to him by me just being there. Between myself and my family we spend $1000s of dollars in this store every year, and they have never charged me a delivery charge. I feel its only right not to charge me a delivery fee when Im spending $500 _$1000 a trip to your store, and lately that has been once a month, but as of today 11/15/2020 I will never spend another red cent in your Bozeman location, at least until I get a formal apology from your so called manager...A very long time customer, but no more thanks to the rude manager,Sincerely, Cactus Junction

I went in there to buy a small chest freezer I happened to find one on sale Spanish mark sales associate take me to the checkout counter and I brought the freezer to my car and loaded it for me. I was back home Im 20 minutes from start to finish! One and done. Now thats my kind of shopping

Despite warnings I received from my general contractor and others, I still used Home Depot because they had a good sale on Andersen Windows and Appliances (Black Friday). However, it is not worth it. A window came damaged and they did replace it but it was a major hassle, both for the schedule of our remodel and also in dealing with Home Depot. We also bought a whole houseful of appliances, which turned out even worse. Apparently there is only a 2 day window after delivery in which Home Depot feels they are responsible for helping replace or fix an appliance that was damaged from the factory (they never expressed this to us, but say it is somewhere in the fine print of our receipt). Yes, it took us significantly longer than their 2-day window to take it out of the box and install it, but it still has most of the protective wrap, etc. on it. We have never used it and we did not damage it. After multiple phone calls including to the store manager, they say they will not help and we need to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer says it is Home Depots responsibility. Do not make any major purchase from this store! It is not worth it!

I ask to be shown a power planer and I asked a man in tools (who had confirmed that he was a tools salesman ). He then showed me a table sander and confirmed to me that it was a Power Plainer. ARG. Maybe you could find someone who may know the difference. Because of this I didnt spend over 450 dollars in your store. I will take my money somewhere else, until I can get true help in you store.

I recently made two large purchases with the Bozeman Home Depot, huge mistake! I ordered window shades and a washer/dryer back in September and dealing with Home Depot has been persistently frustrating for a variety of reasons and I still dont have a dryer. Home Depot has terrible communication channels with its suppliers and third party installation folks. If there are any issues with an order, guaranteed you will spend hours on the phone trying to sort things out. I will never purchase anything here again, luckily Lowes is right across the street.For anyone who cares about the specifics:Window shades: Placing the order for the windows shades was a hassle. I was told I needed to have someone measure our windows and place the order in person at the Bozeman store, only to be sent away to place the order myself online. After I made this original order and received confirmation it was unexpectedly canceled. The cancellation was not communicated to me at all, I only found out by calling to check the delivery status the day before the shades should have arrived. I spent hours on the phone with both the Bozeman store and Home Depots customer service to get things sorted out and even more time reordering online.Washer/dryer: The original delivery for these was in October which was delayed to a date mid November. The dryer arrived damaged and a replacement will be delivered in December, maybe. Replacing the damaged dryer also took hours on the phone with both the Bozeman Home depot, the dryer manufacturer, and Home Depots customer service line. We were finally able to get something to happen by going to the store in person. The customer service employee we worked with at the store was the only person who has ever called us back in this entire process, shes cool.TLDR: Home Depot sucks, save yourself the trouble and make large purchases at a different store.

I have always given this store my business and it used to be a place worth shopping at. Recently I have had extreme difficulties getting my order delivered and after several attempts to call and resolve the delivery for the items that I waited 3 months to receive, I called the store and spoke with Kevin. He was very short, curt, and would not listen. He dismissed my frustrations and resolved nothing. We will no longer be shopping here and would much prefer to support a more local company like Kenyon Noble.

April 24th got help from Perry. He found all the parts we needed for our bathroom spout and handles for the tub. He was GREAT. We had piece and he was calm and funny, too. THANK YOU>

I recently had a problem with my vacuum cleaner and I happened to ask a guy named Dennis for help. He was extremely helpful and I will be forever grateful to him for everything that he did for me that day! He took time out of his busy day to help me unclog a stuck marker and a couple of others items that my roommates happen to suck up on accident while cleaning. The whole process probably took about an hour to find a screwdriver attachment head that specifically fit my vacuum cleaner, get it off, unclog it, get the marker out through the other end of the hose, and put it back together. No matter how difficult it was, he was willing to try anything to help and I really appreciate it. So next time anyone needs help with anything, even if it seems like a little problem, ask for Dennis!

We frequent this store and can usually navigate and take care of things ourselves, so the lack of customer service isnt of much concern. However, this week we went in to buy an appliance and were completely ignored. It took 20minutes to find an employee that would actually talk to us, then were told he couldnt help but hed call someone to help us. Help never came. After wasting way too much of our time, we went across the street and purchased the appliance from them. It was purchased and loaded in our vehicle in less time than it took us to find an employee at Home Depot. So frustrating, we will probably be using the other store for our home improvement needs from now on.

Ok so the sales rep Kendall was really really helpful in buying our new GE electric range. We looked at every stove in Bozeman and decided that this was what we were looking for as well as the reviews on this particular range were absolutely excellent! Price point was perfect for us, and we got to use it as soon as we got home I hooked it up and ran it through its cleaning cycle. Cant hardly wait to use it tonight to cook my artisan pizza! Thats right, we rock the pizza world!? Happy, happy day! PS the staff here actually know how to have fun and I really appreciate that! Brandon and the no neck dude with the mohawk were awesome help getting me loaded in the back of my pickup! Have fun and stay cool!

I called ahead and they had the water heater setting on a cart everything good to go. They were just out of some common stuff that I needed to install the water heater and then they were overstocked on other items that you never need

We bought a washer and dryer set and when it was delivered they were 2 different colors. We were able to keep the washer that was needed more, but was told we needed to order the dryer again through Home Depot. The delivery service was a contracted service that Home Depot hires because we were a few miles outside their delivery zone. They were extremely nice and helpful but could only deliver on Saturdays. I tried contacting Home depot the next week and continued to be sent to voicemail. It took quite a few days for them to order a new one and then they wouldnt deliver it for another 3 weeks on a Saturday again. The week before it was due for delivery I received 3 calls on Friday at 4 pm that it would be delivered the next morning (a week before I was told). I tried contacting them back to reschedule since we had already made plans. Of course it was 5:05 and it went to voicemail again. Needless to say we had to cancel our plans. No rush delivery or apologies. Home depot obviously doesnt care about customer service and they will be hearing from me yet again but will probably just get a voicemail.
