Frustrated with trying to purchase a mattress online, I stopped into Mattress Mill on a whim. Very glad I did because the service I received from Katie and the entire team was wonderful. Katie took a lot of time explaining details about mattresses that Id never known or understood and was so accommodating in letting me try out the different options without trying to steer me in one direction or another. delivery and communication throughout were both great and if it werent for mattress mill, Id probably still be miserable on an air mattress. thanks guys!

I noticed the Mattress Mill as I was going down the highway. I decided to stop in because I need a better mattress for my Toyota Sienna that I use for a one-person camper. I noticed just what I wanted but the man who waited on me, Stacy, told me it is was an extra long. He said he recently had a customer who had a mattress similar to this one cut down to fit. I told him I really wanted a nicely finished standard twin mattress. Stacy was very nice and certainly understood what I was trying to do. I am not from this area but I would highly recommend this store to everyone. I am sorry I wasnt able to spend my money there.

Great info, advice and service from everyone I spoke to. Mattress Mill delivered a new king box spring set to our mountain home in Big Sky and took away the old set to recycle. They provided a 15 minute delivery window and were right on time. Amazing! The new box springs work like a dream.

Theres only one adjective to describe our recent shopping experience with Mattress Mill: exceptional. My initial contact when I called Mattress Mill was Katie. She took a considerable amount of time to describe their various available mattresses--the differences, the attributes, fabrics, components and benefits. She inquired about our sleeping styles and what our expectations are for a mattress. The call concluded with me purchasing two mattresses--sight unseen--and we couldnt be more pleased. Mattress Mill delivered the mattresses the following day, dropping them at our front door for a contactless delivery. The mattresses are made locally, and are well-designed and very well-made. I cant say enough about our experience with Mattress Mill. We will never shop elsewhere for mattresses.

We just took delivery of another mattress from MM. In spite of all the shortages and the chaos in supply chains, Jack Thanepohn gave us a specific delivery date for a mattress for our guest room. When our expected guests moved up their arrival and we needed that mattress a few days early, the MM team pulled through. We couldnt be happier with MMs service and quality.

While working in MT and staying at Bucks in Big Sky I noticed how comfortable the mattress was so I looked for the label and had taken a picture getting details of the mattress and where I could purchase. Excellent customer service while placing my order knowing I would be driving from Pocatello ID clear up to Bozeman for this amazing mattress. Double wrapped and ready to go. I purchased the Royal II very firm. And we both love it. You guys have a customer for life no matter where I live!!!

I recently purchased a new queen mattress from Mattress Mill. Their customer service was impeccable. From the moment I walked into the store I was greeted warmly and shown items at different tiers within my budget, based on the features I was seeking in my new mattress. The sales staff was incredibly knowledgeable, expeditious, and never once pressured me. Two young men delivered my mattress a week and a half later; they took their shoes off before entering my home, and were very polite. I was quite happy with my entire Mattress Mill experience; glad to have local businesses like this. (And, Ive had great nights of sleep on my exceptional mattress purchase!!)

My wife and I were dreading the process of shopping for a new mattress. We planned on visiting all of the mattress stores in Bozeman, and began at Mattress Mill. We were greeted by Stacey when we walked in, and it was immediately apparent this was a “no sales pressure” store. He listened to what we wanted, asked pertinent questions, then directed us to two mattresses he thought met our requirements. As we tried both, he walked off, out of earshot, and left us alone to discuss the merits of both. He answered all of our questions in a friendly and informative manner. He never tried to sell us anything, and there was never any pressure for us to buy. We selected one of the two mattresses, and decided to buy for the following reasons: 1) They are a local business and manufacture their own product. 2) They have been in business for a long time. 3) The price point was very fair and there was no sales pressure. 4) Why should I spend a day or two trying mattresses at all the stores when I already found what I was looking for? After the purchase, we were advised of the build time and their expected completion date. I received a phone call two days earlier than expected and the mattress was ready for me to pick up (I didn’t need a delivery, which they offered). I would definitely recommend Mattress Mill, and will definitely do business with them again.

Over the last 5 years we’ve purchased multiple mattresses from Mattress Mill. We started with a custom queen mattress and box spring and then recently upgraded to an identical custom king. Both experiences were very enjoyable. Stacey and his team are incredibly professional and accommodating. When we purchased our second mattress, we had done so a few weeks before our son was born and due to delivery complications we were unable to be home at the time we had originally scheduled to have them deliver the mattress. The team at MM worked with us to deliver the mattress on a day that they typically don’t make deliveries to ensure that we had the bed set up when we returned home from the hospital. I really enjoyed working with this company. Their sales rep was knowledgeable and offered thoughtful suggestions, and their delivery schedule was flexible. Since they manufacturer all their own mattresses, it took a week or two for it to be ready, but they bumped up my delivery date when they had the option (dont worry, they called me first to make sure it was ok)Their delivery guys were great. Before they even made it in the door, they asked if I wanted them to take their shoes off. They were polite and fast without bumping into everything, and set up the bed frame for me. Overall it was a pleasure to work with this company.

The guys here are simply awesome. They put up with me coming in on four different occasions trying mattresses for at least an hour each time, until I picked one. Its been about 2 months now, so Ive had some time to adjust to the new bed, and I absolutely love it. These guys really know what they are doing and how to make a good mattress. Warms my heart to know that these guys are small and local, and I am happy to have done business with them instead of one of the major companies.

Having initially bought one of their custom-made mattresses in 2012, we recently did a mattress rotation and noticed a softening in one area. After consulting with Stacey, we found the issue - which was under warranty. Just a few minutes later, utilizing a replacement foam pad, we are back to near new. The mattress is absolutely amazing. I have the option to adjust the inserts any time I want. They explained how maintain the bed and prevent it from feeling like an older bed by just swapping out a foam insert (which is apparently super cheap with them). But there was zero pressure during the sale. The only thing they pressured me about was that if I got it that day it could be delivered the following day for free and avoid a fee and I was very desperate for a new bed. Great local company and awesome sales team and was half the price I was expecting to pay somewhere else.

I have been trying to buy a good mattress for 2 years, and severe chronic pain makes that way harder than it should be. My preference is to buy locally, so I headed into MM to try some of their mattresses that I hadnt yet, in hopes of *finally* finding the one. I was horrified—and horrifically embarrassed—to be asked to leave the store (!), however politely...by an employee who decided I was somehow using their store to shop for an online mattress. That...doesnt even make sense. And its an offensive accusation, however nicely you put it. Ask people questions before you take the massively assuming step of asking a polite, well-meaning customer with a decent budget to leave...your completely empty store. The employee offered to let me stay if I was planning to buy but I was so deeply embarrassed I could not stay or support a business who would treat a customer so unkindly. I contacted the owner, and he did listen to my story and express sympathy towards my condition, but ultimately, there was no apology from either the employee or the owner and the damage was done. They seem to be a beloved Bozeman institution with many excellent ratings, and I received excellent hands off non-pushy service from them prior to this. I was looking forward to supporting them if I could find the right bed, but alas, since I was asked to leave before I could try anything elseI can only speak for the latex models, which I didnt personally find comfortable.

Wonderful place. Showroom is well it and spaced out pleasantly. Staff is very friendly and you never feel forced to buy something. They know their material and do not sound like robots reading off stats. All the mattresses and box springs are made on site and everything is much cheaper than Bobcat across the street, who gets all their mattresses shipped from out of state. I ran out of gas in their parking lot once and an employee from the warehouse offered to run me to the gas station and back, wouldnt even let me tip him. Promised him I would be back for a mattress and would drop his name. Finally made good on that a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier with it. Would recommend this business to anyone and everyone in the Bozeman area looking for a mattress.

Love my mattress. They made it to specific (unusual) size. You will never have any other company come to your home for fixes or repairs. When my back began hurting because it wasnt soft enough they sent their man out to check out the problem and before he left he changed out my side for the softness I needed for my specific back problems. Youll never get better customer service in a box store. They are called mull because thats what they do. You ask and they make it to your specification. Their warranty is unsurpassed.
