It is so funny to me that this Walmart is directly in front of such majestic mountainous views. I have to say that it blends in pretty nicely with the color of brick they chose to the lower portion of the mountains. The Walmart itself had some good options and prices as well, and I was happy to see there was a gender-neutral restroom in the back by the photo studio.

Walmarts policy of allowing travelers to stay the night on long travels is very nice and very useful as I myself have taken advantage of this on occasion. That said if left unchecked it can quickly get out of hand and this walmart is proof. There’s a full on homeless encampment in the side parking lot near hotel that includes sketchy people with what looks to be junk from every trash dump in the state, pet birds cats and dogs with a few addicts passed out in cars all blocking the parking lot hindering movement throughout.

I found great toys here for excellent prices. Its not often that I shop here, but I was pleased. I found a beautiful necklace for my granddaughter. Already shopping for Christmas.

Lately the store has been a mess. Cluttered. No bird suet, empty shelves. No bird seed I like to get.

Traveling from Mt Rushmore to Glacier National Park and needed a place to rest for the night. THANK YOU WALMART for allowing us to park in your parking lot, this allowed us to get the much needed rest and grab some groceries as well. Sorry you have to deal with all the negative Nancys out there but we really enjoy your hospitality!!

Two stars only because they do have merchandise in the store. There is a LOT of employees in the store. Just not many doing anything. Absolutely NONE of them checking people out. Walmart better have good prices. Sure as hell doesnt have any customer service.

I was simply astonished with the pallets of GM all over the store. Could hardly move due to the handful of employees seemingly just chilling out by a pallet, and not breaking the other pallets down. Tons of empty space on shelves, and in a city like this?? Makes me want to transfer and straighten things up.

Wow this place needs workers. No checkouts were open except for self checkout because they dont have anybody to man registers. There are boxes of inventory in the isles. You cant get down the isles and if you need an item in those boxes is not put out for purchase. You have to feel bad for the people that are working and not waiting for the hand out. They are mobbed and most seemed to be working as hard as they can.It seemed to be well stocked with no empty shelves. You dont have to wear a mask so that is good and the point of vaccinations. Lets get back to work America, the govt isnt going to bale you out, they lied to you.

You are better to shop at Helena then Bozeman. The people at Helena are better to help you out.

Great place to spend the night. Their are kind enough to let us camp in the parking lot. In the morning I went and shopped.

Went to buy a charger from the electronics section, a worker was there when we were trying to find the charger but as soon as we needed someone, there was no one to be found. Myself and another two customers waited way too long for someone to show up. This is only a problem because everything was locked in glass cases so nothing was able to be opened. The claim was to protect against shop lifting. The irony was that they had multiple pallets overflowing with electronics, tvs, computers, which makes the cases a complete joke. They called for someone over the intercom and no one showed up for 10 minutes. Walmart isnt amazing in most cases but this was attrocious

The staff was great, and it was pretty clean, but despite its best efforts, the Waltons still make 1000 times more than anyone who actually helped me out today.

Such a horrible place to go now. Half stocked shelves of the important stuff. Overstuffed aisles make getting through with a cart difficult. No customer service at all. Had to ask a stocker twice to help me before she acknowledged me. No checkout lines open except for the self-service ones. Stood in line for over 40min to then have to do the checkout myself. And because I bought alcohol, had to wait another minute before an employee came to clear the purchase.Walmart used to be the go-to place for almost everything. What a horrible way to represent Sam Waltons vision. 👎 😢 😠

Im from Ohio visiting Montana. I loved the different items that we dont have in Ohio. 3 stars only because of only 2 cashiers. Self check out is the way they do it here.

Yeah, this is not the Walmart that gets made fun of. The staff is EXCELLENT. The customers also seem nicer, because of the environment. I moved here to work and I need like 9 different things. I got all nine, from a surge plug to a rain slicker. Fast checkout. Zero qualms.

Dirtiest Walmart I have ever been to. Not a cart in the store just ALL over the parking lot. And not ONE cashier.Grab your own cart. Don’t get stuck on the sticky stuff on the floor while shopping and then check out your own items. Not a great experience.

The Westend walmart is going through a remodel currently, so its a little bit of a mess as far as where the merchandise has been moved to. This store is the busiest of all three in the area, and the checkout lines show. Be prepared during the reno to be there a little longer than expected. With that aside, the associates have always been willing to assist when I cannot find what Im looking for. They are a bit short handed currently, but where isnt? Once the remodel is over the store will look great!

Thankfully it wasnt too busy and the store was running smoothly even though the store is extremely understaffed. But, they did have a lot of the aisles blocked off with nobody in them are stalking them

This Bozeman store was terrible. They are obviously having supply chain and staffing problems but there needs to be better local management. Overall disarray throughout. We managed to shop our list but we wanted out of here as soon as possible.

Rating is strictly a convenience issue. They had a car part crosswise in the Drive-Thru and the doors were locked on the building. The sign says that the Lobby is closed please use the drive-thru. We obviously could not, and there was no sign saying anything else even the hours werent posted. We finally got someone to come to the door and tell us that they dont open until 11 a.m. and this was at 9:15 a.m. we had driven 60 miles one way to have Burger King for breakfast. Huge disappointment Factor. There should at least have been a visible sign stating that they didnt open for breakfast.

Probably more than 100 people trying to check out and ONE cashier!!! Even the self checkout lanes were way overloaded. Come on Wally World... You can do better!!!

Good place to find cheap items if you are not really looking for brand names. If you hunt and take the time to stroll through the clearance alleys you can find good deals at low prices. You can also find good quality items at the grocery department or at the hot meals section. Good place for bargain hunters.

Worst walmart I have ever been to. The isles are always clogged with restocking pallets, and you can never get any help. Ive spent over an hour waiting for someone to come open a case for me so I could get a phone cable. Asked multiple people for help and they called for help on the intercom for me but no one ever shows up that can help me.

I dont normally like Walmarts. But today I had a couple of the nicest ladies Ive ever met help me out when going through a hard time. Just little things like smiling and listening and being helpful in spite of circumstances (remember you only have to visit sometimes, theyre here all day).

Only the self checkouts are open (not including the broken ones), and the lines are so long that you have to wait at least 30 minutes, even If you just need to buy one item.The lines for the mini self checkouts are long and the carts are completely full.Walmart should either use the old school checkouts, or replace them all with self checkouts.

Terrible! Theyre shelves are always bare. They close the home/pharmacy doors at 6pm and shuttle everyone down to the one side of the store to checkout. Which is ridiculous to have everyone coming and going through the same doors especially during this covid pandemic!! Were all lined up into one small area to checkout. Miss the way Walmart used to be, so I rarely go anymore except for a few things once a month.

No cashiers, self checkout only. Low inventory. Aisles that you couldnt pass through due to inventory in boxes stacked in aisles. I wouldnt shop there but I needed a variety of things and didnt want to go to several stores to obtain them.

Great store, very clean and well organized. For those of you in RVs they currently do allow overnight parking. Talk to the manager on duty first, spend some money there to say thank you and follow the rules so you dont ruin it for everyone else!

This store has went downhill fast, bad produce, bad meat and extreme prices, not to mention they are always out of items. Great place for people watching and the few associates are friendly.

The bathroom and the store were absolutely nasty. There were so many empty shelves throughout the entire store. When we arrived there were 3 Walmart employees checking customers out but when we went to checkout there were none. We were told by the manager that everything was self checkout. I wanted to leave the basket right there and walk out but my wife convinced me that we needed the groceries before driving to Big Sky.

We picked up our grocery order here on our way through town. They did a great job. Friendly staff too.

Nice Walmart, had pretty much everything we expected. The only downside was we were looking for a charging cord and they only had expensive models stocked in electronics. After we purchased a $25 cord in electronics we found an $8 cord in the impulse buy sections next to the cash register on the way out. We had to wait in line at customer service to return the expensive one and purchase the cheaper one.

Big store with everything you need. Also nice to have a big parking lot to park your RV overnight.

I had to put 1 star, I would have put 0. Again no check out( cashier) workers. Lines for scan and go 10 miles long as only 1 side was opened. Items in boxes in isles not stocked. No assistance. I will not be going back. This was said by other people in line as well. Very disappointed in wm.

Just like the majority of Walmarts, they say theyre to short handed to have people on the register in the middle of the day but if you walk around youll see they have far more stockers than they need. All over the store youd see 3-4 people hanging out slowly working 1 pallet while they talk. Had 1 register that was just closing and she wouldnt ring up the 2 items I had. I dont work there and theyre not giving us a discount for it, so I refuse to use their self checkout lanes.

The hotel is crazy expensive for an upper middle lower proletarian but the access to the water park is nice and easy to find from the interstate. Kind of small for a theme park but it has a little bit of everything crammed into a small area. Quite the design and engineering spectacle. I give props to the maintenance crew

Ive been shopping here for a lot of years. It seems as though the staff dont have enough incentive to enjoy their jobs. There are often huge stacks of pallettes consuming certain aisles, and they become impassable. I know that they really struggle to staff employees, especially for restocking, but I go out of my way to shop here for specific items, so if I cant reach them or they arent on the shelf, my trip is pretty much wasted.I wish the corporate chain would put more effort into making this a more rewarding place to work. That would make this a great place to shop.

What a horrible experience! Shelves were practically empty, no employee offered assistance, the pharmacy cashier wouldnt let us pay for all our selections (only 4) when picking up a prescription, and the only way to check out was in self checkouts, which had ridiculously long lines. No wonder WinCo, Costco, and Target are getting more customers....Walmart is the worst place to go for ANYTHING!

Me and my husband bought a tv pretty late in the evening and had other things to check out and he went above and beyond for us. I would probably die for him he was so nice and helpful he even helped put it in our car! If you get rid of John you lose me as a customer!

I was singled out while over night parking my newer truck and Rv I received a notice to move or be towed in this parking lot although no one else did.Spoke with management. She said only one over night parking in one year.Ironically enough, I used to Rv giving Vaccinations inside Walmart. I even picked up others trash and collected the shopping carts as theyre shouldnt have to .Looks like Rv Walmart parking has been abused.To bad for others who dont set up camp.

Couldnt check out! Lines were huge! When we finally got to the check out the machine wouldnt take any of our credit cards. Really held up the line. Ultimately took cash. Luckily we had enough.

They called this supercenter because they it is indeed a huge store. You will find almost everything you need. A good store.

Like most other Walmarts. However, the difference we noticed is that the staff here were very friendly and helpful. A stark change from the Walmarts back home, it was refreshing to see genuine courtesy and politeness that were not accustomed to experiencing.

This store is obviously mis managed or under staffed. Shelfs were empty with new stock in isleways throughout the store. Went to the mens restroom and it was disgusting water all over the floor no paper towels it was filthy. Corporate should be ashamed of this store.

If I would of wanted to Scan & Go I would gone there instead of being forced to because their werent any cashiers!! You pay me for doing your job! I rarely go to Walmart and from now on I will not step into a Walmart again!!!!
