Ive always loved Rockford coffee and, for the most part, have had positive experiences here. A few days ago I was sitting at a table and I saw a little family enter the doors (clearly from out of town) and were immediately with the warm welcome You HAVE to have a mask on to be served here! The young man behind the counter was extraordinarily rude to them. Its not what he said it was how he said it. It was so embarrassing. I felt so bad for them. I understand the mask policy but as always, its how you say it AND how you treat your customers. I hope management is not condoning this behavior but even if they are I wont be back for a very long time. We have 20 coffee houses from which to choose.Former 8 year fan of Rockford-
Baristas were super friendly and helpful, I got a dirty chai which was awesome. On the way out I saw the sign that said they had a rosemary caramel latte, which sounded delicious so I went back in and got it. It was SO GOOD. Currently thinking about how to make it for myself because we’re not from the area.
The cardamom and clove latte was phenom! Basically pumpkin spice without the pumpkin, which is perfect!
Drink was good but whats worse than all of Montanas nasty paper straws is not being offered one at all for an iced drink.
Clean, modern setting with great coffee and a nice, quiet ambience.
My FAVORITE place to study and the best coffee in town! The oat milk lattes are unbeatable and I love the ambiance and staff. 10/10.
Phenomenal service and accommodating, especially for my large orders
Cinnamon rolls on Saturdays and Sundays are one of my favorite weekend treats in town! Coffee cake was excellent, and the Spicy chai latte, (dirty, with an espresso shot added) is my current favorite drink here! Plus this place is one of my favorite coffee atmospheres in town. Somehow woodsy, clean, cozy and professional feeling all at the same time.Later additions: The nitro almond milk coffee they have on tap is amazing. Rockford you do not disappoint. (Summer 2018)
The coffee is great, but my favorite is the double shot sweet chai! The breakfast sandwiches are also amazing!
Found my way here because my hotel served their coffee :)The coffee is solid, and they have some creative flavor combos for lattes (ie Huckleberry Pastry).
Cute little place on a great street, but it doesnt feel as invested in itself as a great coffee spot should. Very limited space as well; it feels like it should open up/combine with the tea shop it shares an entry door with. Service and selection were both excellent during our visit. Great staff!
Goid coffee. Nice atmosphere!
For starters, this is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. Ive had coffee at shops in Mexico, Oman, Switzerland, Peru, and about all over the US - and the coffee here is excellent and the staff know their stuff. But MAJOR props for having the best vegan cupcakes in my experience. I cant have any dairy (real allergy) and these tasted fantastic and had great texture. They were so good that I kept wondering, Am I being poisoned here? while eating. Props to Jonathan for baking the best in the Intermountain West.
My husband and I love stopping here on our way through town. Best coffee in Bozeman!!
Favorite place to catch up on work, hang out, and sip some tasty caffeinated creations.
Really enjoy the coffee, chai, and baked goods here. Their roasts are also unique and always fresh!
Rockford has the best coffee and tea in Bozeman! Their customer service is amazing and its a great place to get work done. Their house chai and oatmilk lattes are fantastic!
Nice downtown coffee shop, with great spaces to visit or study. Good selection of hot and cold Bevs. Wonderful selection of pastries.
Nice coffee shop. Had a tasty espresso shot and chased it with a refreshing cold brew coffee. Not that much seating, but adequate. They roast coffee and have some for sale, plus a few baked goods.
Fosgate doughnuts
I like my mochas a touch sweeter but good coffee otherwise!
I am not overstating by saying, these guys made the best dirty chai Ive ever tasted. The service was great and the atmosphere was rustic and comfortable. Also, they sell their own freshly roasted beans. Loved this place.
Luke warm, dirt cup wiped off with wet rag. Bummer.
I go here at least 3 times a week and the service never wavers. They know what they’re doing and they make sure you know that your patronage is appreciated. I never feel like I’m overlooked or anything. Their products are amazing, made in-house, and never disappoint! HIGHLY recommend going here if you’re looking for a chill vibe with great coffee! the 6T is the best drink they have!
What a nice place! Looks like it would make a great study spot. The staff was incredibly friendly.I ordered an Ethiopia drip coffee and a bacon breakfast sandwich. The coffee had a very nice roast, which let all of those awesome floral flavors come through. The sandwich was a split biscuit with bacon, cheese, and an egg that looks like it was prepared in an egg ring. I thought the biscuit could have used a little more salt, but bear in mind that I am not a professional baker and don’t know what the added salt might have done to the texture, which was quite pleasant and light.I really like to stop by for a cold brewed iced coffee when my family and I go for walks along Main Street during spring and summer.
Great vibes! Come hungry, the baked goods selection is insanely delicious. Coffee is great, a little on the lighter side most of the time but still really good (Im a dark roast guy!). Plenty of space to relax with company or spend some time studying or reading.
Great coffee and atmosphere. Best breakfast biscuit sandwiches in town.
Great baristas
The best latte of my life! not even exaggerating💓
Had a tasty cortado and a comfy place to get some work done!
Delicious coffee!
Open, light, wooden, modern, good pastries, lots of room to stand while waiting, quiet, laptop friendly, slightly upscale without being pretentious. Parking on street.
Excellent espresso drinks and service! Prices are ok! Would definitely go back again😊
Nice coffee shop!
Wonderful Main St. shop with plenty of drinks for anyone. Also having a nice selection of pastries and food for GF and Vegan diets is a huge plus!
Great coffee! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have whole beans for sale too and they helped guide me to the right choice for me. Can’t wait to go back!
Love their 20oz pour over to stay. Since I had to leave the other day I ordered an iced americano and was slightly disappointed since it tasted diluted but at least the coffee wasnt bitter or burnt. I think the ice just melted too fast because of the heat outside. Next time I will ask for less ice. Otherwise its my go to place for coffee, definitely in the top 3!
Good iced coffee and breakfast sandwiches, but the wait is long. One barista per customer and theres a lot of slow feet and chit chat whether its busy or not.
For what it is worth. Up until recently this has been my favorite coffee place in Bozeman. Last visit, I observed a couple of health code issues. Parents sitting a baby on the counter the another parent letting an older child sit on the counter with dirty boots on the serving area next to the uncovered food items. Servers did not respond when we mentioned it to them and we never observed them cleaning the counter. Plenty of other coffee shops here in this town.
Stopped here for a cup of coffee before heading to Yellowstone and absolutely loved their medium roast. Ive had coffee from all kinds of roasters in Chicago, and this was easily on par with my favorite. In hindsight, I should have bought a bag of beans to take with me.
Decaf iced vanilla latte was delightful served for here in an actual glass. Fresh toaster pastry was baked just right. But the view of Main Street from the tables at the front of the shop is my favorite part!
Delicious coffee & scrumptious baked treats!
Rockford Coffee is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in Bozeman! I love their assortment of baked goods, and their grab and go breakfast sandwiches can be an absolute lifesaver. If youre looking for something a little different, I would recommend trying the turmeric Latte!
Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, and delicious coffee. Their spicy dirty chai is amazing!
Rockford coffee has the best coffee in downtown Bozeman. They roast their own beans and have a good selection of pastries as well as donuts from the local donut shop.
Awesome breakfast sandwiches and good coffee! The staff is always wonderful. My favorite downtown coffee shop.
Awesome vibe to this place. The workers were very friendly and it was just what I needed for my morning drive. I ordered the T6 and Ive been trying to recreate it ever since. Perfect mix of sweet, smooth, and caffeine!
Highly recommend! The coffee was very smooth.Nathan (Owner)Grovom Painting
Great local roastery with a broad number of offerings. I had the El Salvadoran pour over and it was delicious. Beautiful photographs sprinkled throughout break up the brick walls. This is a place Id hang out at.
This new location of the Rockford is comfortable and relaxed. The layout is spacious and the atmosphere is just right. Most of all, the 6T is still on the menu!
Maybe I need to go again but we havent loved their roasts! The times Ive tried havent been consistent sometimes theyve been bitter or burnt flavor but Ive had a couple great cups too.
Nice downtown location, pleasant venue, friendly staff. Btw, the coffee is pretty good too.
Nice new space on Main street for a classic Bozeman name in coffee shopping! Very modern feel to the space. Hope they keep adding art to the walls to give it a more lived in feel with time.
Its NOISY and LOUD. Looking for a quiet place to work? Keep going down the street. Want to have a conversation with a friend without having to scream across the table? Try the outside seating. Want to have a quick phone conversation to explain to your boss youre working remotely? Try the back hallway. Theres completely unintelligible background music just to add a few dB to the cacophony. The coffee is good, but the atmosphere is an acoustic nightmare.
Rockford Coffee really needs to think about expanding their hours. Its kinda crazy that they close at 6 o clock when they are a downtown location, in a college town. Really like the ambiance in here, and great coffee.
Easy place to sit down and get some work done with great coffee
Very vibey place with great coffee and snacks including gluten free.
Really cool place - great atmosphere. Chai latte was super sweet even after asking for it not to be too sweet. Our group tried 3 different pastries, all really dry.
Great coffee and yummy baked goods. Cool atmosphere, friendly and local. Owners are the nicest, most genuine people.
Clean and quiet with a modern vibe, this small coffee shop is fairly new to downtown, although it was located in a nearby place originally. Not a lot of variety or character, but its simplicity can help you focus on work if thats what youre there to do.
Hands down best coffee in Bozeman. The staff is so friendly, the baked goods are phenomenal and made fresh in house. Also, free espresso Friday is legit.
You have to try the house chai... The best!!
Service was friendly and fast. Their London fog was oddly bland and not very good. Very loud room with a high ceiling that echos everything. Good place for visiting, bad for school work. Walls are very empty and the room is dark and shadowy. Ill try them again for a different drink and not studying.
Honestly their artisan chai is really horrible. All the other drinks were great though!
Gorgeous store, great location, even better coffee and service. Love the coldness in the summers. Best breakfast sandwiches to go.
I was very impressed with this venue, topped only by its excellent service and delicious coffee.
Had never been before but its super cute and cozy and their coffee is good quality. Not at all disappointed.
I had a medium latte. Tasted like instant Folgers with foam. Not the friendliest staff, but the place was clean and well kept. I had finished an appointment downtown and had time to kill before my pick up. Knowing that at any other time I would have had to park blocks away, coming here would not have been worth it.
Great shop . Great coffee and good service!
Coffe has been burnt continuously. Though the baristas are kind, it seems they are only there for tips. They should also be there for the love of being a coffee barista.
Nice quiet setting, delicious dark roast coffee and Cherry scone. Their Wifi is fast, will be back there more often.
Nice place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Spacious, relaxed.
Rockford is a great! Coffee is good and their people are even better!
Good outdoor seating so you can bring fido along. Coffee options are varied.
Great new spot downtown to meet or get work done. Excellent coffee to boot.
Great spot to sit down and focus with the assistance of some delightful coffee.
Favorite spot in Bozeman for intro meetings - lets grab coffee - quiet, comfortable, great coffee
Good coffee, but the atmosphere is lacking
Amazing lavender latte. Their house made syrups make for drinks you cant find anywhere else.
Best place in Bozeman for coffee.
Always good coffee and good atmosphere.
Great hours, reliable wifi. Best all round coffee shop downtown.
Delicious baked treats, great coffee, and friendly people!
Sofisticated yet simple! Great iced coffee
Great coffee, friendly baristas.
Nice place...friendly service...but very hard to have a conversation because it is so loud inside.
Great spot right on the main drag, really enjoyed my coffee.
My coffee was great but service could have been better
Very good coffee, nice atmosphere, and home made whipped cream for the coffee.
Great study environment with kind people, chill music, and with the utmost importance and emphasis, excellent coffee...
Probably my favorite espresso in Bozeman. They also have an excellent pastry selection and nice atmosphere
WiFi password: pouroverDisappointingly diluted coldbrew.Rockford owners: ALWAYS store your coldbrew in its original, concentrated form. Dilute as necessary for the drink. Mine was coffee-flavoured instead, and I had Wild Joes barista dump it out after they made me a real one. Not your baristas fault; its yours alone.
The coffee is surreally tasty and the WiFi is solid!
