The store is clean and has a great selection of fairly priced spirits. Very solid craft beer selection and a great place for bourbon hunters to get as close to MSRP priced allocated bourbons. I called other places and most independently owned package shops are way more expensive for harder to find allocated bourbons.

I popped in here yesterday Fri 7/23 for a few things and Dantae and Jax were so helpful! Jax helped me pick out a vanilla vodka for my sister and Dantaes whiskey knowledge was impressive! I ended up going with Jameson because Im sort of basic but thats my fault ;) Also Dantae is very tall and helped me reach things on the top shelf! And they say chivalry is dead... Will def be back! 10/10 would recommend. (Total Wine is trash.)

This store is amazing. The people whom work within Star Liquor in Brandon are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I enjoy that there is a local small business that I know I can rely on to make sure Im getting not only the quality, but the best value, as an option for what I am purchasing as well. No other liquor store compares. I went to one that stays open until 3am on causeway... You need to tell them what you want from outside of the store, hand them your card for then to take inside, where you cant verify what theyre doing, and then I ended up paying $28 for a 750ml bottle of what I can buy a liter of at star liquor in Brandon for $18. I will never shop elsewhere, and I havent for a long time; I recommend Star Liquor Store to anyone in the area. You will not be disappointed with the quality, value, and service while you shop there.

There are other liquor stores close by with better selection and better pricing. This one has the basics though and will work if youre short on time or do not feel like going out of your way. My personal favorites are ABC or Total Wine

False advertising on the time. Drove all the way there thinking that it was open to 11 on Saturday April 2nd and they were locked up at 1005 telling me to come back another day. Its pretty easy to change the time on Google.... I have to do the same with my businesses that I managed. Front door also says open till 11. Should have at least let me grab what I needed, would have been in and out.

Tucked nicely within shouting distance from West Brandon Blvd (60). You can find a wide range of your favorite beverages, rum, liquor and spirits. Very well-stocked shelves and a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Get in, get out and get drinking without too much fuss.

It is a clean place but they only had one person working behind the register. The line went as fast as it could but maybe have 2 lanes.

This is a really nice liquor store. The store is very clean, and it has a very large selection of different liquors, wines, beer and more. If youre looking for it, they most likely have it. The staff is very helpful and know what they have and where to find it. The store is very well set up and is one of the most upkept liquor stores Ive seen in the area in a long time.

Was not impressed they didnt have a big selection of beer or liquor and only had small bottles and only 12 case of beer nothing larger

For the first visited it was okay.

Nice place. I need to go back into bartending. Just looking at all that liquor brought me back into my bartending days/nights. I need to go get my bartender license again.

I hope this place sticks around. Where are we going to go when you have a rough day and need some tranquility? This place is a hard liquor playground. Beyond that it has your general staples if old reliable beers and them IPAs the younger crowd likes.

UPDATE: The owner contacted me and corrected the situation. I greatly appreciated that.Usually good, but they had an item priced incorrectly on the shelf and would not honor the price. It clearly listed the correct product. They will be seeing less of me.

One of the larger Selections in the area, sometimes I can find stuff here that I cant find it Total Wine. Only four stars because their bourbon selection is not that big. Some stuff that will actually have the best price in town, others they might be a couple of bucks too high but theyre always at least acceptable.
