There was not very much sponges to try out foundation or tissues to take off makeup. i have seen better stocked at sephora, was surprised since they have more selection than sephora. We went the whole store and no help was offered. Maybe next time they are better prepared.

Associates were rude, unhelpful. Attempted to make a purchase 3 days in a row... computer system down... could not accept credit cards, could not verify purchase made online. Long line to make purchases. Ended up leaving without buying anything, requested refund for online/pickup at store purchase!

I had Agnes do my makeup for my sister’s quince and I absolutely loved it! She did both mine and another one of my sister’s makeup and did a great job! We both used the same colors on our eyes but she gave us different looks and they were both really good. She was also super friendly and worked in the requests I asked for. I would highly recommend her!

Hi, I want to commend a young man at your location, who was greeting customers. The day was Jul, 9,2020 at 12pm. He was such a knowledgeable, polite and friendly person. Wish all your team members were as amazing!

During my shopping, a worker would follow me through out the store. Everytime I picked up an item to read a lable I was as interrupted. I spent $109, I guess I wasnt there to steal.

Made an app at the salon they said they didn’t have any appointment under my name. They failed to put the correct name. A HAIR CUT that took forever. The Mexican older lady that was there put me in the back and started doing highlights on someone else. She didn’t seem to care much since she was left alone.No apology no nothing. Do not go unless you have time to spare. Appointment are not honored and to top it off if you have an appointment at a certain time you have to wait outside to go in the building. Which defeats the purpose of an appointment it’s really more like a walk in.

Love this store. Yes, there are a few employees that are rude and essentially useless... but for the most part, they’re helpful and listen to your needs. I also love their services! I had a resurfacing peel with Kira and it was amazing! She recommended products that she thought would work for my sensitive skin and she was 100% correct. My skin looks great now. I’m going back for another session next week!

Hello everyone! Today I decided to do a buy online pick up in store and I was so disappointed! 15 minutes after placing my order I decided to head over to the store (another 15 minutes to get over to the store). Upon arriving I was informed my order was still not ready. I work in retail and we do buy online pick up in store. Let me just say it does not take more than 5 minutes to do gather the items. I was informed that I would have to go back later. I am extremely disappointed with the pick up system. Hope they improve it soon!

I had a 30 minute facial with Nicole at the Brownsville, TX store and although she is very young she really knows her profession very well. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable with her knowledge of my skin and the products she used. Definitely will not miss my already scheduled appointment in December. 👍🏻

Ulta Beauty is the absolutely amazing, especially when you have Elizabeth as your hair stylist! She is the absolute best! I’ve been to many salons paying over $300 for highlights & with her get the best of the best deal with the top of the line quality service! Bad customer service, just because inclement weather they cant fulfill curbside order, i understand if it says in the app of the confirmation email but nowhere on the app or email it said that!

Marlene, the salon manager at the Brownsville Ulta, is a wonderful hairstylist and color artist. One great benefit of Ulta salon services, aside from Marlenes talents, is their ultra flexible salon schedule. Need a Sunday appointment? No problem. Get an urge for highlights on Independence Day? Lets do it! The shampoo area has adjustable shampoo bowls and comfortable chairs, which is great for those with neck and back problems. Im very impressed with Ultas salon.

Service was good but when I went to the restroom paper was over flowing from a small container trash. ☹

Go to the dermatological spa with Kira!!! Ive been going there and I have been able to see an amazing change. My skin feels so nice and the acne cleared out. She is amazing!

Love their products and what they sell. I did have an issue with one if the employees as far as her thinking my son was playing with one of the brushes. I accidetly dropped it and he was picking it up. She only saw him trying to put it back and right away in a very rudely manner told him not to play with the brushes. Being the mommy that I am I emediately corrected her. No one is going to disrespect my son especially when he didnt do anything wrong. Other than that I like the store.

Ulta and Samantha in particular saved a wedding bridal party!! We were gratefully able to book 4 spots back to back (very last minute) for hair and makeup when right in the middle of them, we needed an emergency spot for the bride! (Her original stylist bailed last minute) needless to say, Samantha did AMAZINGG work with our hair and makeup. She was able to fit all of us in and make us looks like goddesses! Definitely, definitely recommend hair and makeup here.

Samantha from Ulta saves the day!! The day of my best friends wedding the lady who was supposed to do her hair cancelled and so one of the bridesmaids gave up her appointment so the bride could get her hair done. Samantha was so great she was able to still fit us all in. Not only was she flexible the work she did was AMAZING!! She was very nice and worked very hard. It was a relaxing moment during a stressful day. She did our make up and hair and we were very happy with the job she did! Thanks to Samantha! Definitely recommend her if you need hair or make up for an event!

I called this store to inquire about blonde highlights. I spoke in detail with a young girl there and set up an appointment after it felt like she understood what I wanted. After my appointment, I was really upset because I spent almost $200 and couldn’t tell I had anything done. I gotten foils or less on the top, and they were toothpick thin. I was so bothered still the next day that I called and talked to the manager, who offered to fix it. I went back in so she could see what she was going to be fixing and set up an appointment with her. She got me closer to what I wanted, and I was happy with her willingness to make me happy, but still didn’t have exactly what I wanted. And, months later, I’m really upset with the integrity of my hair, every single time I wash it, it gets so tangled, I have to spend quite a bit of time untangling it. It’s very unhealthy now, and I’m not accustomed to my hair being this way. It’s frustrating and saddening. I would not recommend this place, at all. It’s pretty standard for Brownsville. I’ll be going to Austin to get it fixed.

This Ulta is sooo nasty and dirty. You can tell they don’t change out their testers because all the testers are finished. Lipstick testers are smushed, liquid lipsticks or lipglosses are empty, and powders are hitting pan. They also have no q tips, napkins, or spoolies available.

Everyone there are super helpful and I would definitely recommend this to anyone driving by the place

Okay well im a person who likes to dress not girly but long shirt shorts and tennis shoes, and i was carrying my daughter in the baby carrier and my son was in his pajamas, i had in mind to waste $500 that day but as i walked in a lady was handing out bags and as i was walking in she rushed like a track star to ask me if i needed something instead of giving me a bag but oh well so i told her what i was looking for even though i knew where the item was, in other words i didnt think much of it, until we got to the area of that certain product, okay so the product is almost $200 dollars and she looks at me and tells me are you sure its this one and i smiled with a giggle, yes it is, and she opens her eyes wide open and stares down at me and says, how are you going to pay that, and i look at her and i just grabbed the item and walked away she literally followed me to the cashier and waited till i paid.. To be honest i dont even remember her name but she was hell of rude, ill keep going but if i see her ill just ask someone else for a bag. Peace&Love Yall ❤💕

Everything is good only thing is that it’s uncomfortable to shop there, because they ALWAYS staring at you like if you’re going to steal. Yes it happens but it gets annoying and rather not shop there anymore.

My experience at this location with getting my makeup done was honestly the worst! No personal connection with the lady who was doing my makeup, worst guest experience ever! There was no communication about prices and had did not listen to my request on my make up. I let her know I don’t wear a lot of make up and was looking for something natural because I am attending a wedding and had not have color of dress picked out yet, so natural and not wild crazy eyeshadow, which I got the complete opposite on. My eyeliner is uneven oh and what a coquisidence she used a lipstick that could only be purchased in a three pack(again no communication about price of lipstick or choice of what I would want). Ive always enjoyed getting my makeup done at ultra but this is the worst by far! Plus I even got make up in my hair!!!!!! I have a wedding to attend in 1h and half.Ps, her name is Elizabeth!
