My experience with Conlee-Garrett Moving & Storage was good at first when they came by to see what it was I was taking to CA. Then, the day to pack everything including furniture was not okay. One of the men packing up the dresser broke one of the legs and said it was already like that when I had bought everything in excellent condition NOTHING WAS DAMAGED until I got to CA and the shipment came in to my apartment as soon as they were unpacking we told the movers that the movers before had damaged a leg on the dresser and to be careful with the other furniture. As soon as they were done unloading everything and unwrapped everything there was so much damage to our furniture. The kitchen table looked like it scraped against something on the side, the headboard has a deep chip where you can see the actual wood color, the dresser had many many damages on it like it was POORLY taken care of. One of the couches leg is chipped because the mover dropped it on the way in. I feel betrayed because I honestly thought I could trust a local long distance moving company. And we received a paper to list anything that was damaged during the move and its been 3 weeks since weve sent it in and no response of getting money back for the damages. I ONLY GIVE 2 STARS because they at least got it to where it needed to be but not in the condition I hoped it would be in.
