Sandy was so kind and helpful. The set-up was easy, and the unit was very clean when I moved in. She helped me figure out the perfect size for what we needed and made sure the codes and all worked before I left. I highly recommend this storage facility!

Have been there way too long. Over the years most of the staff have been excellent. I believe the space is adequate for my needs. I recommend a air conditioned unit for the finer furnishings stored. JM

Sandy, Mark and the whole team at Compass In Buford Ga are absolutely amazing when it comes to keeping a customer satisfied and feeling welcome, they went above and beyond for me, I left my new boat in the parking lot for several months, I felt very secure leaving there. My storage unit that I run my pressure washing company out of never had any issues, I have friends in Conyers Ga as well that stores with Erin and her team.... my friends say the same thing. ....we all know that customer service is a big deal, they carry out a very good name with my friends and I.

From the first initial contact via phone to staying past office hours to wait on me to showing me different units and doing paperwork, Sandy was such a pleasure to work with. I am not happy that the units are not climate controlled but Sandy makes you feel like family and you cant walk away. The rates are competitive with others and their initial move-in specials are not as good as surrounding storage facilities. But, I have already recommended compass to friends and I havent even moved all of the things in my unit yet. Thank you, Sandy. Its people like you that show others there are still genuine and caring people out there.

Harrassment regarding monthly payments even when made on time. Horrible and rude customer service. Truly cannot wait to make a final payment and get out of there. Aggravating and annoying since day one. And they raised storage fees from approx 80 to over 100 a month. Do not rent storage here. Find a mom and pop and support small businesses. They are the worst.

Upon walking into the facility you will notice the cleanliness of the building and the smiling faces behind the counter. The employees were kind and considerate, while acting in a professional manner. They made sure to give us the best deal they were offering, at the time, and even allowed us to view the storage units, wanting our approval. The units themselves were clean and acceptable, so overall, this was a great experience. Thank you

First of all, management is wonderful. They ride around all day everyday making sure everything is clean and people are happy with their storage unit. Also, security is up to date and there are cameras at every corner. Knowing that there are cameras everywhere makes me feel comfortable. I’ve been here for a year and haven’t had any problems. If there is anything you need to get fixed in your storage unit they will fix it right away. This a clean and secure place with very nice people managing.

Ms. Sandy is by far the friendliest and most helpful person I have encountered at a storage facility. The only thing better than the units is the great staff and amazing pricing! I wish I could give more than five stars because if any place deserves more credit and recognition, it’s this one.

Ive rented several times from here and Ive Never had any issues! The employees are very friendly and helpful with any of my needs! However I did reserve a 26ft truck with them on the 28th of July for a move that I thought was only going to take one day of truck use, but we had a closing issue and I was not able to unload the truck until the 1st of August which most likely interfered with other customers that had pre reserved this truck! So If you were one of the customers that got affected by this I truly apologize for the inconvenience!!!

I have been renting 3 units (since 2013 now just one) here in Buford, Ga. I have seen many improvements over the past 6 years all good. The property is well maintained, I recall them cutting down a long row of trees along building 1 to eliminate pine needles getting inside our units and debris on their roof. The office looks great and the staff has always been nice and professional to me. I have no complaints about this location and with Compass Self Storage.

RATS!! A lot of RATS! After deciding on Compass Self Storage in Buford for our temporary need to store some office furniture, filing cabinets & cabling between moves we started to notice rat feces In the unit. After notifying management we decided to set some traps ourselves since they only treat the outside! After catching several large rats In our unit we can still hear them running through our property walls, & ceiling. They want to lay blame it on someone’s else’s unit that might have trash in it. After requesting a refund or help moving our furniture to another unit they declined so here we are letting you know to look elsewhere that doesn’t have RATS!

The lady at the office was so nice! We were in out of there in less than an hour!

The staff here is great. Josie and Porsche are super helpful. The pricing is fair for the area and the location is always clean. You can always find the girls out on the property cleaning and picking up trash.

I was moving and in a crunch for time. I arrived minutes before they closed for the day, but they were able to get me a unit. Thank goodness too as I had to have my stuff out of my house by the next day. They have a huge dumpster too. So no need to pay someone to come and remove junk from your house if youre moving. You can bring it here and dump it for free. Nice!

Rented uhaul truck. I received a nice email the night before with instructions.Picked up early before they opened. It was the first time I rented a Uhaul truck that was clean and actually smelled clean. When I returned I did not have to even walk in the office. The nice lady who worked there was able to get me checked in from the parking area. It was a very smooth experience. I will definitely recommend to others. Thank you

Amazing experience

Came in today to rent a uhaul truck that ended up being changed to another location through the uhaul system through no fault of compass the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and helped us find the right place. Went above and beyond to help us out even though we didnt rent from them. We did end up buying some boxes from her but i appreciated the great service!

First time renting a storage and great good experience SANDI was very kindness i will recommend to my family and friends.

Today, after waiting in line for 30 minutes, we were told that our confirmed U-Haul truck reservation was no good... that they did not have truck to rent us. The woman behind the counter said that it was not her fault. When I pointed out that we had a confirmed reservation and that not honoring that could cause us to miss our move out dat and incur financial penalties. The woman behind the counter began to yell at me. I was calm but left very dissatisfied. Avoid this place.BTW: another U-Haul dealer gave us the truck we needed with smiling gracious service in about 10 minAvoid Compass Self Storage

We stored an RV on the property. Two times the RV was vandalised. Someone took a propane tank then returned it later empty. After that, they stole the RV battery. Both instances were reported to management. No reimbursement was given for the cost of the propane or the new battery. Looks like someone was watching to see how often we came and checked on our RV. Took propane tank hoping we wouldnt notice. Could have been someone who worked there. Not a safe area. BEWARE!
