This location in Burbank is one of the most understaffed locations I have ever come across in a Home Depot. I constantly hear all around me on the speakers someone repeating the same department that a customer needs help in. Seems like Home Depot needs to upload some hiring forms on Indeed to find better employees that care. And same goes for me. As Im waiting for help, I am writing this review, knowing that the appliance department apparently has only one person working at 7 PM and that I have to wait one hour for their lunch time to finish up. I asked several employees to help me purchase an appliance and out of all of them, only one has been trained to do so in the evening? Very unprofessional if you ask a regular customer such as myself to perform such a simple task. I am giving this location two stars partially because I also have Covid-19 to blame for businesses failing at providing exceptional customer service, as a result of being understaffed.
Ordered online and picked up same day at lunch. Parking was easy and there were barely any people around.
Order online or through the app, it’s fast and fab. Otherwise, like every other big box store, if you’re lost or looking for something specific, just hunt someone down and ask! 90% of the time employees are helpful. Only four stars because it’s a standard affair, needs more flair.
Where are the employees?! We need help other than the front of the store. My shopping experience has been horrible, disappointing and aggravating! This will be the last time Im shopping at Home Depot.Issue after issue, after issue just to deliver & install new appliances. 1st of all, customer service skills at the appliance department, and Ive dealt with all of them, are lacking. Experience was just extremely horrible! Secondly, the 3rd party delivery company that they contract with is the worst. They dont install carefully and properly. The warehouse they use have busted appliances. For over 2 months, Home Depot, their contracted warehouse, their contracted delivery crew and the technicians could NOT get things right. Issues with installation, busted appliances at delivery, scheduling, and customer service. Extremely Horrible Experience with Home Depot. The company really strives for Extreme Customer Disappointment. I want my $5600 back!I miss Sears and I should have gone to Lowes.
Amazing service! Brian is a master of the fork lift and the team was insanely helpful in getting our decorative rock loaded into the back of the truck. Highly recommend this Home Depot and the team there.
No stock on kushlan concrete mixer I wanted. Everywhere else they want gauging prices. Home depot has the best listed prices, but non in stock. I heard some items will be in short supply because of shipping problems.
Nearly always enjoy my visits to the Burbank Home Depot.... The associates are courteous and willing to help as much as they can... The store appears orderly and well stocked most all of the time. Despite the bygone days of the corner hardware store and how everyone knew you, this is now the next best thing!
The level of cordiality and know how was good for doers like myself. Thank you from the toolbox.
I needed something from here.It was easy to find.In and out quickly.
Went to 2nd location bcs. 1st location did not have needed part instock vs. their website said 5 were instock @ 1st location
Francisco M was a huge help we were trying to locate products for Halloween and he gave us excellent customer service five stars thank you Francisco
Axile in pro Serv was kind, efficient, courteous and was so busy but still seemed to give each of us amazing service from what I saw. These guys are all great but I thought he deserved extra stars especially because he was young and we need more of these fellas following our footsteps! Haha at least those of us who are in the service industry, it seems like it is dwindling over the last decade. Thank you again
My dad and I went to this Home Depot to pick up a pipe fitting and my goodness, I never knew there were so many different sizes! No wonder Home Depot is heaven-sent for people! Theres something for everyone. We were able to find the missing piece with some help from one of the employees and we were out the door. For now, there are two long lines being directed by an employee where there are clearly marked tapes in the floor directing people to stand 6 feet apart. It doesnt matter if you want to do self-check out or not--everyone is directed to wait in the two long lines. Just an FYI.Also, dont be intimidated by the long line outside. It moves pretty quickly. Another nice thing that we saw as we pulled into the line was another employee diligently sanitizing all the carts as we were walking in the line. There were some things missing that we wanted, like a regular room freshener. We settled for one of those refill ones for automatic dispensers and figured wed use it til the regular one is in stock. Hand soap was also difficult to find but there was plenty of dishwashing soap. Its all due to the current situation so its understandable.Thank you Home Depot!PARKINGAvailable in the lot
We went in to buy a second area rug and we were directed to the garden section where it was moved to. Since we couldn’t find the item we were looking for we called for help and Andrew came into the scene. He was so very unhelpful and couldn’t care less if we bought anything or not. His response was that some items were moved to the discount section and if we didn’t find it there it’s not available. We were surprised with this response because only 6 days ago we bought the first one and there were many more. So we decided to look around and we did find the rugs. This was a very disappointing experience.
Not crowded and good customers. Polite and considered towards others.
Amazing service. Great selection. Easier to park in comparison to the hollywood location.
This store is so well organized more so than the San Fernando St. store. Overall clean, stocked, prices parked, and employees are easy to find.
Clean and well stocked store with friendly staff.
Friendly, helpful staff. Always fund what Im looking for.
Staff blatantly ignores you even when you ask a direct question to a specific individual! Same girl, on several occasions, just looks at you and then starts looking around without addressing your questions. Most of the staff just stands around doing nothing. There are two good employees, but you only get to experience them if you order online for curbside pick up. I did use my receipt numbers to give them glowing reviews by name. Items are not in proper places
HD is closer to me than their blue competitor, and 3 out of 5 times, I am disappointed in not finding parts that I need for home repairs. To make matters worse, they are usually understaffed!Came here for a simple dual outlet stop valve and sure enough, non existent. Made the longer drive to Lowes and found it readily available there. What good are lower prices when you dont carry such DIY items?Thumbs down, Home Depot!
Still the DEPOT I was loading heavy material away from the front of the store. When a lot atendendent. Came to my assistants offering help. My pride said no. But he still grabbed material and help me......thanks
I believe there is room for improvement from everyone. With that being said, the customer service was mediocre at best. There was 4 cashiers and they were all huddling around one trying to figure out a return that only the manager could handle. This happened for about 15-20 minutes. I believe this could have been handle different to assist the rest of the customers in line. When I finally made it to the register the cashier was pleasant but seemed irritated and didnt have patience to assist me. The whole process took over 35-40 min and when I arrived there was only 3 people ahead of me. I hope i dont have to return anything anytime soon.
They didnt have exactly what I wanted, but had something that would work if I wasnt being too picky. Price was more than I would expect for what I got.
This store is an absolute mess! Placed a large order online (WA93992654) and this store was assigned with fulfilling my order. Order was cancelled without a notification to me because apparently they did not have the items in stock. Another store 5 miles away shows all items in stock which is closer to my house but this was the store who got my order and i had no control over. Not acceptable at all. Take your business to Lowes or Amazon.
Its extremely fun to go to Home Depot. You get to look at everything! I especially like the plants, the chandeliers, and the refrigerator section. You should bring your boyfriend or a friend because that will make it even more fun. Btw they also have candy if you want, even though I didnt get any because Im trying to be healthy.
Objectively this home Depot is fine, but in comparison to some other home Depot stores, its a bit lacking. Very unorganized (many items in the wrong place) and has a smaller variety. Sales associates were friendly and tried to be helpful, but werent quite as knowledgeable as the ones at some other home Depot stores.
I must admit I think the selection here is better than Lowes. I needed a basic medicine cabinet to replace my existing one and I found a fair few of identical dimensions. Signing up for the store card brought the price down to 8 bucks! (Sign up bonus). Lots of easy parking. Lots of appealing seasonal items to browse as well.
Just love this place very helpful peaple but only in the morning after that try to get some help from someone good luck
Excellent service from Gladys! She was helping me out with a quote for a closet door. Also she helped out Leslie, Kevin and Kevin to take this pre-hung door down from the very top shelf. Also Kevin helped me out to load it up in my truck. Worked out great! Would highly recommend. Thank you guys!
I hade a question about Milwaukee tools pricingThey transferred me to 5 different people then no one picked up the phone I waited 28 minutes then they hang up the phone, they have horrible phone service
Have everything I neededBetter price than Lowes
Best HD in the Valley. Well stocked, amazing customer service, and the average person shopping here is respectful of your personal space.
We came to purchase some garden stones on Tuesday June 6th around 5-30 pm. My mother who is 84 years old was redoing her garden and we needed quite a number of the Vigoro’s Golden Sunset stones. We had walked to the area where these stones we located and there we three assistance standing and talking and to be exact two males and a female. None of them offered any assistance because they were so engrossed in their conversation and finally my mom said, “ excuse me can someone help us over here.”NONE of them looked like they really care what she was looking for and the one gentleman turned his head slightly and his comment was “ what’s up”….. really WHAT’S UP …. This is the way your workers address co-signers and then as we asked about the stone his reply was “ YA WE DON’T CARRY THAT” he has no intention to look.I have to say that I will never return to this store again. I would drive to Pasadena where they know how to address clients.I have never had service like this at LOWE’s or ACE or any other store. This was awful and disgusting to say the least.
I had a great experience with the nursery department in this homedepot. Thanks to Andrea who was patient and helpful in finding the right product for my citrus trees here.
Home Depot trips are always good. This particular branch is always clean, organized and the workers are very helpful and knowledgeable..
I like the store it self but mostly it is hard to find some one to help to find an item
Best experience great customer service
I was able to get what I needed but unfortunately none of the associates greeted me. What happened to the days of greeting customers and being friendly 😕...
Needed paint. Employee needed to open locked case. Helped me pick out what I needed. Very helpful staff
As usual, I walked out with fewer items than I needed, because its almost impossible to find what I want, and theres no one to help. Then when I do find someone, 9 times out of 10, they dont know the answer. Time to go to the DIY store. Actual knowledgeable humans to help me. Why do I forget this every time?! 😯
The Burbank location is much better than Glendale and much better than the unsafe one in Hollywood. This HD has more inventory and more items. The employees are still clueless and no help.
Parking is not a problem.Helpful staff.Lots of plants and flowers.Multiple self-checkout = in and out of the store.
Why oh why do i go there. To make my self feel like gardening and building with wood
The friendliest home depot Ive ever been too theyll help you with anything you need
Very good home depot.
Watch out when in the parking lot! ..cars trucks are careless
Not bad.. Lots of Cust service.
Home Depot is our go to for home project materials. Great customer service!
Great Home Depot always stocked with anything one needs for DIY’s at any time I shop there constantly
A very organized and stacked up home depot. The staff are very knowledgeable and handy.
I was attack by loss prevention
Found what we needed for the project. Did need to return because the purchase item was broke. Hassle free exchange.
Rental dept out to lunch. vacs not prepared with all parts. wasted my time
Its a home Depot. Just like the rest of them. Yup.
Very nice doctor.
Came in here to get some extension cords. Place was a mess with all the Christmas items. People were all over the place. No regard for anyone, looked like shopping cart drive bys. Asked an associate for some help a out a Christmas raindeer and he kind of said he didnt know where it was. But I get it. Its home Depot and people are shopping for Christmas. Chaos!
Everyone there was super helpful! My son was excited to receive his first project kit and I was able to find everything I needed and more! Great staff and definitely recommend this location!
Great staff good prices
Hey, its Home Depot! Whats not to like.
Its a home depot. One of the nicer in the area. Nothing fancy or different from the many others.
Great support staff.
No employee to help. They were talking to each other.
They have the great set up for the carts in from like a huge corralThis is how all home depots should do.Hey! Its Burbank great city clean home depot
Excelente service &fast thank you
I deducted one star because simply theres not enough staff to help you find whatever it is you are searching for.
Waited 20 minutes for the rude woman to call an employee to help me trim my blinds only to have them show up with their mask below their nose and tell me the blind cutting machine was broken. Rude customer service, zero concern for time OR safety.
Rented a 100 foot snake and it broke down half way through the job. Told manager my situation and he said that there was nothing he could do.
Great if you know what you want/need, but not enough staff if you truly need assistance.
I deal with a lot of Home Depot because I run my account through you guys I have dealt with Home Depot skinny wear from Lake Forest to Pasadena and Burbank your Burbank store was absolutely fantastic I was helped quickly and got out of there without any wait a girl named Mia in your Burbank store and the gentleman did help me to get the tool I needed to get me out of there and get my job done was refreshing cuz most of your Home Depots just point especially the one in Pasadena big shout out to Burbank store
I always find what i need! Customer service might need some improvements!
Wasnt busy, workers are super helpful and knowledgeable, and self check out areas were sanitized after each use!
I can understand if they are understaffed but to ignore customers with this isnt my area of expertise, then get someone who knows and help the customer.
Got our tree Oscar was absolutely the best . Very helpful. Tied the tree to the car. Great customer service. Oscar is a great asset.
Can be hit and miss on getting help but not the employees fault. Through pandemic having been doing well.
I never like home depot but my husband do, so we went to return a box of recess light cause it was too bright, so I need to use the pin pad, so I put on a plastic over my hands, and one of the worker ( older woman) start being sarcastic and said people think our store are dirty, so why do they come to the store I was not mean or did anything for her to say that, I am just being careful and protect myself. So I told her it is to protect myself from somebody like you who dont care about safety. I am not going back there. I like Lowes anyway.
Tool rental. Bathrooms. Easy parking.
I spend at least 300 dollars on plywood ALONE during every trip there (and thats just on plywood!). Great customer service, too. Would recommend going there for any construction project.
As always under staffed and no cellphone reception, so you have to wonder around to find what you need.
They used to hire employees that learned the store and the products
Great products and service😎
You know how you always find that store you like. I like this one. Yes its the same as most Home depots but this one seems to have faster lines and the staff seem more knowledgeable
All home depots are just ok. At least with curbside pickup you can be spared from having to go inside to rummage through their stock, barely if at all find what you need, and wait in the checkout line. I order online almost exclusively now.
When to purchase coaxial cable and other needed stuff for the project..easy.
Well what can i say is close were i live plus its ok.. But yhea theres alot of mexicans looking for work
Julissa treated me so well, she helped me find a tree that I like!
I love this place so much! People are great there so helpful especially Flooring apartment the best, there employees there and know what they were talking about. Will definitely shop there again
I thought they were understaffed at first, having asked an employee for someone to help get some plywood down that was topped stocked because they didnt have any accessible on the floor, then after 42 minutes of waiting I went to the front find about 7 employees watching on guy put a couple bags off concrete on a shelf. When a man who had also been waiting g for something else and I asked Lorenzo if he could help I got the reply of I have work I need to do. Then o watched him walk over pull out his phone and start surfing the web pretending like he was spotting someone even though there was already someone spotting. Then they both proceeded to look at this guys phone instead of making sure nothing g was falling on a kid! I just left, Id rather hunt down a Lowes than deal these guys.
Way overpriced for plain pizza. Over $7 for a big slice and drink, but the gimmick is the pizza is nothing like NY..THEN they have the nerve to have a tip cup. For what??? Since when do you tip a pizza place? Stop supporting tip cups...its greedy filthy wrong.
