I found the battery I was looking for here and the employee were pretty helpful. I came to this Best Buy location after checking on their website that they had the battery I wanted in stock. I tried another Best Buy location and they didnt have it. The parking at this Best Buy is great, alot of spaces and roomy. I wore my mask inside and it looked like everyone wore theirs as well. I asked an employee working the camera area where the battery location was and he directed me to the tablet area. I was able to find the battery I wanted and was out within like 3 minutes.
Decent selection and prices. The staff is what it is. Not rude by any stretch nor impersonal, but nor especially helpful, either. True initiative and proactive isnt necessarily the deal over there from a customer perspective, but if you know exactly what you want, theyll help you, for sure, and not begrudgingly.
I’ve been coming to this Best Buy for a while now and I have nothing but positive experiences every time. Great customer service. Last time I came I received my computer that I ordered online and there was a loose bolt in the PC. The tech team said if any problem comes up, just bring it and they’ll replace the entire thing. Their enthusiasm to help made the process that much better.
My wife and and son went down for the restocking of nvidia cards this am. Read at least 20 ads saying TODAY was the day for this this to happen. TICKETS would be for TODAY!They left at 4am! Waited in line. Clerk came out said they gave away tickets night before! AFTER all ads said they would give out tickets today ! The used the fine print excuse. I work in marketing and know this excuse doesn’t hold water. This is clear case of false advertising and they should be held accountable. Just like when the airlines misprinted ticket prices, 400 tickets for 50 dollars. Best Buy screwed up, people left their house early in the morning g knowing they had school and work! Everyone should keep calling this store until they get satisfaction, will! When you say OCTOBER 1st!It means OCTOBER 1st. Purely false advertising!!!!
Product selection seems to be waning and absolutely next to no customer service accept for my cashier who went extra mile to help. Customer service has gotten worse on my last visit. Go there only to touch / see products then find better price and ptoducts online
I used to work at this best buy back in 2013 and it is one of the better retailers you could work for and I have worked for many. Great location and very friendly and engaging staff. The check our clerks are also very nice. Young kids who are working summer jobs and making a future for themselves. Great products. I just wish they still had the gamers ub discounts. 😪
Went into get a fridge, dryer and washer. Already knew what we wanted online. Sales person in appliance was friendly and offered financing. The best buy credit card is a joke. $500-1000. Might as well just pay cash for it all which is what we did. Delivery and installation scheduled. Pretty easy process.
Ahh the sort of ok priced and never in stocksuperstore. Well they had what I needed and I found it. The staff are hard to come by to ask questions unless you throw large fluffy objects at them to get their attention off of their Tinder swiping madness.
Very sad, I use to be a customer for life, elite plus, but the policies now where theyre money hungry and automatically enroll you into protection plans that bill you annually make me cringe. Its taken me hours this morning and i still havent been able to cancel it.. This place use to be the spot, they actually cared about the customer and tried to help them but every time I shop here now i feel like the sales people try and manipulate customers to upsell something. I was looking for a TV a few weeks back but the only person that came to help me was from the mobile department while three other employees stood behind the answer center on their phones. To make it even more weird, the Mobile employee was asking how many phone lines I have. I told the employee I was just looking for a TV three times and had to get a little stern with them, I ended up not getting the help i needed and left.
Whats there to say, its best buy. Nothing in Danville or memorable.
Availability could be better but service was good. I was able to get in n out even though it was busy.
My husband purchased a laptop from me from best buy, and forgot to put in our elite member information. The computer began overheating and showcasing issues of screen problems and device malfunctions. We attempted to return the device within the elite member return policy time frame (30-45 days) and the manager refused the return, as my husband forgot to enter our phone number at checkout. We have an elite account with our names, and we provided the original receipt, and had the matching card and the manager refused. Instead, the manager immediately issued a store credit. We declined the store credit and he advised that it was processed and there was no going back so to take it, because thats all he could do.We do not want the store credit. We want the refund per the return policy terms and conditions. The manager refused even though we are elite members because he did not want to process a refund.
It is Best Buy. They are all pretty much the same from what Ive seen. So much stuff that it can be hard to stay out of sensory overload. Not sure that the items are truly the best buys out there, but still, fun to browse. Through the years, the sales associates demeanor has changed. From what Ive seen in the past 5 years or so, most of them spend time on their devices or talking with one another. They will help if approached, but rarely approach to ask if I need help or have questions. I have changed as well though - I am older and dont seem to fit that typical Best Buy buyer demographic anymore. Best Buy for post 50 year olds that have questions might be a good spin off. Parking lots are usually large and accessible, even in L.A., which is a selling point for sure. Truth be known, I typically will peruse items I am interested in to get a hands-on feel and then often purchase online through their site or get something similar online through another outlet.
I actually had to go to the Geek squad area to get my laptop repaired. Everyone was nice, professional and helpful. The atmosphere is great.
Been a rewards member for 15 years. Products and services are always great. Love coming here for tech.
Best Buy had always been the perfect place for your electronics needs... but lately their availability of products are NOT the greatest 🤔 😕 but Best Buy of Empire Center in Burbank, CA had way better selection than the store in Sherman Oaks, CA...
I was just shopping for an audio cabinet. A decent one to hold your equipment is NOT going to be cheap...from anywhere;;;. IThe gentleman PETER COLATO took time away from what he was doing here in the theater design to help me.He was VERY helpful and can order you one if needed from an array of Colors designs and many choicesHonestly, employees like Peter Colato is why I retern and continue to support Best Buy.Thank You Guys!
Best Buy announced they would be restocking graphics cards and giving out tickets for people to collect said graphics cards, but when I arrived at opening hour on the day, as described by Best Buy’s online posting, I come to find out that all of the tickets were given out yesterday and that I wasted my time coming out for something Best Buy screwed up. It’s not hard, figure it out!EDIT: this is coming from someone who used to work for Best Buy
This morning they got a shipment of PS5s and Xbox series X, website and everything said they would hand out tickets at 7:30am 9/23/21. Apparently a bunch of people lined up at 9am 9/22/21 and they decided to just give all those people the vouchers to purchase the consoles. It was really sad to see so many of the consoles to scalpers (yes some people literally loading up to 10 consoles into one vehicle and seeing one person pay off the rest of the group). Then when all the consoles were gone a manager came out and told everyone to leave or she’d call the cops on the people still in line. Incredibly disrespectful especially since some people lined up at midnight (I’d been there since 5am) and no one said the vouchers were gone till almost 6:30am. Once again the biggest disappointment wasn’t not getting an Xbox, or even seeing them all go to scalpers, it was the disrespect attitude from the manager that threatened to call the cops on customers just trying to purchase a product from their store.
I always have loved best but, since I was little and my dad taking me their. I would love to play on their devices. Nice customer service, nice employees they help when you need something because normally you cant find it.
I like Best Buy as a corporation, but this particular store lacks quality in presentation and customer service. The shelves are usually empty, and finding knowledgeable individuals in their department is a rare find. They dont go the extra mile for service and rarely ever try to keep you as a customer here. Everyone seems to have an attitude or pompous demeanor. Its Burbank, and youre working retail. Chill.
For two days I visited the Burbank Empire Center Best Buy Store #137 looking to purchase a laptop computer. On the second, I finally decided which one I would like to purchase. I had previously asked an associate how can I make sure the computer I’m looking at is in stock. The associate said if it wasn’t in stock it would have a sign on the tag next to the computer. Before I asked for the computer I asked associate Angie that if she knew if there might be an open box which cost less. She said to look at the tag and if there was an open box it would say on it. I looked at the tag and didn’t say there was an open box available. Again this is supporting that associates are referring customers to the tags by the computer for certain information. After checking I approached associate Angie again and told her I wanted to buy that computer. She came over looked it up on the phone and said that the model was sold out. I asked her if they might have it at another store. She then answered with attitude, it’s sold out it can’t be bought at any store or online. I told her they should put a sign on the tag so customers are aware that model is sold out and can’t be purchase or order. Instead of apologizing or saying something positive, she flap her arms up and walk away with attitude. I approached the desk on my way out and asked to speak to a manager. That person there said he was William the Specialty Sales Manager. I told him what happened and that I wanted to file a complaint. I also told him I wanted to show him who the associate was. He said He knew who she was and would talk to her. However, he said it in a non convincing way. I also told him as a Manager he should be on top of what items are sold out and put a sign so customers know or remove them from the floor. He answered, oh well. I told him I was going to file a complaint with corporate and started walking out. As I was walking out I heard him laugh with another associate and told him, I’m going to lunch. As I was walking to the car, the manager William passed me by. To me that seemed as he was not concerned about my complaint and most likely would not talk to the associate. I am a regularly shopper at this Best Buy and was surprised by the bad customer service I received. This review is of my personal experience and in hopes that higher management become aware of what happened. I will also be contacting corporate to make them aware of what happened and incase the manager Willian does not talk to associate Angie.
Best Buy is a great place to pick up electronics. Im used to the one in Canoga Park. The Burbank store was really nice and had all the cool stuff you expect to find at Best Buy. The store was really really clean and the staff were super helpful.
Bought a new phone there, they always have a great selection as well as a great selection of cases and screen protectors in stock.
We had a nice informative Sales guy. We bought our new washer & dryer here LDW:)
You get 5 stars for the foreign girl (English I think) who works returns/checkout here! I shop here once a week at least and she’s always working hard yet is never anything but upbeat and helpful. MUCH different from the employees in the computer section who never want to help me unless I’m spending big$$$$.
Great place the person that helped me was very courteous and knowledgeable I think his name was Giovanni
Went in with only 3 minutes b4 closing. Was looking for a Samsung TV and just when they closed the store I found the TV I wanted. One of the associates at the door helped me get the TV and loaded it in less than 10 minutes. Phenomenal service.
Bought open box laptop 💻. It was easy, get consultation and good service. 👍
I have shopped here many times and have had really good experiences. Today was quite different. Being Memorial Day weekend, my partner and I decided to go in and see if there were any deals. We both need new laptops and he needs a new headset. So we walk in 11am-ish and there are more associates than customers. Great time to shop, right? Not once were we greeted or approached while we were looking at the laptops. There were 3 associates, 2 in blue shirts and 1 in a black shirt (manager maybe) just chatting away in that area. They never came over. Nice to know that our business is not valued here anymore. New store manager maybe?
Order online + pick up was so easy! Highly recommend. Was ready w/ in the hour, pulled up and notified them that I was there and only waited a couple minutes. Arian was so sweet! Speedy, attentive, safe service.
They already got things ready for Black Friday!Um, I like that they have an Alienware M17 on display. These puppies go for $2,199 (plus an insane tax), so like a car, you need to test drive it first. Well, same concept with high class laptops, you need to see what your buying. And Im happy that Best Buy provides a display model on the sells floor. Now, having said that, someone needs to program the Spectres. One of the selling points of that laptop(the Spectre), is the screen can flip, and it turns into a tablet, and you can start taking notes with the touchscreen pen.Well the 🖊 pen isnt activated on the display models you have. And this feature is something the public is not aware of, but it is something that will get them to buy the Laptop.
Best Buy is almost practically the only surviving major merchant of home electronics & appliances with a chain of brick & mortar stores after the recent demise of Frys Electronics. The store associates I interacted with during my visit yesterday were courteous professionals that were highly knowledgeable about their products. Nonetheless, I rated the store 3 stars b/c of the lack of variety in the brands & models they have in stock. For example, I had less choices for an AV receiver, and when I found a model that could satisfy my downgraded requirements, it turned out that this was out of stock without any probability of being re-stocked near term. My store visit was not a complete waste, I actually managed to buy a computer mouse to replace an old BT mouse. I think its okay for Best Buy to dominate the electronics market for now but it will do us consumers if they have a strong competitor, other than Amazon, that has physical stores that can cater to the old school shoppers like me and the on-demand generation of today as well.
Employees are quick to size up customers based on their appearance.
Large selection, everyone kinda running around took a bit to get service. Helpful folks all the same though.
Very patient personnel very friendly knowledgeable charming helpful and familiar with the products only flaw is the lack of merchandise specially in the car audio dept. Need to pick that up guys and its handicap accessible to. And clean
I like to visit this Best Buy every time I can and see real electronics, not just pictures like online shopping. Specially if you want to look at the details and have a real perception of size.
Mr. Giovanni one of the service clerk helped me a lot. He was best service worker. I really appreciated it!
Dont support businesses that waste your time.Like many other folks, I lined up early on the morning of the 26th to try and buy an RTX 3000 series gpu. I waited for 7:30am to roll around so I can get my purchase ticket - JUST LIKE THE COMPANY WEBSITE SAID TO DO.At approx. 6 am, the manager comes out and tells the 100+ crowd they gave away all purchase tickets the night before contradicting what the company website said would be their protocol. They claimed the process of giving out the tickets wasnt company mandated and they didnt want people loitering all night. Thats fine, but what a terrible way to mislead and treat your customers.Worst customer communication and relations Ive ever seen. Theres so many other consumer electronic stores - Id suggest choosing a better one. I know I will.*edited for grammar
Ive been shopping at this Beat Buy for over than 15 years, in which I have found that the employees at this location have always given there best efforts when it matters most!! They are very eager to help with any questions/concerns you may possibly have, and they do a great job of making sure they are well staffed in order to meet any demands that may arise at any moment. They are well stocked when it comes to their inventory of items and also are very well experienced in orchestrating and executing a solid sale during the holidays and occasions such as Black Friday. Its also conviently located in a shopping center that also has a Costco, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Jamba Juice, Panda Express,, Chase, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Party City, and a few more stores. Theres plenty of parking for everyone including wheelchair accessible individuals, and all the store entrances are also accessible for everybody as well. I would highly recommend this location for all those looking to have a smooth shopping experience at any of these stores, especially Best Buy of course!!!!!
Why bother?! I went in for a laptop. I knew basically what I wanted. I asked about a particular one. They didnt have it in stock. Ok acceptable Can you show me what you do have in stock then? oh well we would have to order pretty much anything on display. Moral I took from my visit to Best Buy If its something you want you can find a better deal and get it quicker ordering online elsewhere.
Low in stock and assistance via customer service. I wasnt greeted by any associates or asked for assistance until I was ready to check out. The video game section is bare bones and the movies and entertainment isnt too far off. The store is very cleaned and spaced out. The layout near appliances and kitchenware is a bit clunky. The checkout time was pretty long despite being the second person in line, with one cashier on duty. The geek squad is pretty solid and the curbside pickup is very efficient. Not the Best of Best Buy, but also not the worst.
Me and my Fiancé ordered a computer Tower and a Laptop on July 2 2021 and we got screwed. I went into the Burbank store to pick up the tower and it seemed to have been problems with our payment but they took our payment but our products where delayed do to Best Buy’s problems. I will never order anything online with them again. Not good customer service and they take your money but delay on a product being delivered because of their mistake. We paid for best day delivery and now we are not getting it on our day we paid extra for. Worst service.
Kinda empty shelves, i was looking for blue tooth speakers and selection was small. Good service though.
Always the best place to go right up there with like going to an amusement park lol! Love Best Buy. 😊
Bought an HP for 219.00 Runs great and its not a chrome book either thank God. Super nice staff and conveniently located off the 5 freeway in Burbank
Asked adapter to change from 220 v to 110 v they gave me but it was wrong it was opposite way round so had to return it. And staff not helpful sometimes careless
Great customer service and friendly staff
It was good just asking bonus deals after bonuses deals makes me not to come
Was there at 1 am for the Nvidia event to try and get a graphics card and they post a sign that says they they already sold out. When I called yesterday they said they were going to sell them in person and start handing tickets at 7:30 am!!
I have been coming to this best buy for years. Never had an real issues. items are overpriced. Customer service is also good here too
Customer service is good, but the computer I bought there didnt work.
I may be wrong on the name but front security Brendan was Ive the top in the best way possible. Friendly, courteous, knew exactly where the 2 items were that I was looking for. I asked about a xbox controller and a universal TV remote. He was accurate to the shelf location!
I got there with 2 minutes to spare, coming from 30 miles to pick up a game for my kid, store would. It work with me. Never coming here again! I’m biting from Amazon better!
I walked into this location for my first time ever a few days ago and had to return quite a bit because of other items like an old laptop and external harddrive I had to bring in to the Geek Squad to have transferred into the new laptop I purchased. And every single time I was greeted with great customer service. They made what would normally be a very annoying experience to my type (someone who doesnt enjoy big purchase typically because of all the extra headaches that often come attached with them) actually very pleasant. They were friendly, great at resolving issues and offering other resolutions and wonderful at communication. And I didnt just get lucky, because I received the same level of service from 4 different employees. So I would highly recommend visiting this location. Hope you find a great buy! Happy Shopping!!!
Great customer service, someone always around for questions.
They were sold out of the TV I was looking for.... but they have lots of cool stuff so Ill still give them 4 stars
Was at the work out section and met a guy named Jaylen super nice and helpful just all around nice guy. Showed me some great products I’ve never heard of and was a super big help. I’ll be coming back just to talk with him again about anything I need. Wish more people were like Jaylen!
What a shame I wont be returning to this best buy as it is very close to my home. I would rather drive 20 minutes than return to the service obtained here. As a new buyer of a dash cam I had several questions. I was assigned to Kevin a member who to say the least was not very helpful. While I understand some individuals may not have the proper knowledge within the department to answer all my questions I expected some sort of guidance and model comparison. When checking out he never asked if I wanted to put warranty on my items or even offered the best buy member discount.Furthermore when my camera was installed they did such a poor job. My front camera is placed extremely low and my back camera is positioned oddly that I can only see the top of a car, so no use there if I were to be in an accident. After testing my camera I returned and explained to them that the dash cam wasnt what I was looking for. And they informed me that I can have an exchange done and no installation fee would be charged. However what is really bothersome to me is that when I was helped a second time the man assisting me couldnt explain to me the difference between the products. I had already sought out advice from a different Best Buy location but wanted to double check that this time around i would be happy with my purchase.
Placed an order online for in store pick up. It was ready within the hour as promised. Although there was a slight wait in the pick up line, one of the staff that was checking out routine customers came to me & got my item. The line is very effective in this time. Theyre doing good rotating customers in and out. There was no line to enter store.
Lots of new devices on display to see!!
Always good customer service to buy anything here my next goal is to get surround sound in my room going to u guys
There was a ear pods that I wanted to purchase but the price where I got the ear pods was different when the cashier rung it and the manager did not honor the price I was really disappointed that the manager did not honor the price I even took a picture of it where I got the ear pods. Bad customer service.
Its bestbuy but not enough inventory. Found nothing I was looking for and had to go to the one in Atwater.
Good customer service.
I had a problem with a laptop I bought in August. I spoke with David at the Geek Squad. He was wonderful. He figured out the problem in a couple of minutes. It could have been repaired but would take several months because of COVID & gave me the option of getting a new laptop & handed me to Erica. She explained the difference in laptops that I was interested in & finally chose a Microsoft. I thought it would be a nightmare getting my previous laptop repaired or replaced. One with the knowledge & patience, Erica found a couple of discounts she was able to apply & save me money. Erica & David, thank you!
Trash gave out tickets 6+ hours before said time couldn’t get gpu
Nice and cool inside good service
More lousy service, workers have no product knowledge. What a mess Best buy is!
Man! What can I say about this particular Best Buy, in Burbank. From having incredible patience to customer service, to being knowledgeable with their answers. I definitely had to give them a five stars. The sales associates, were amazing! Especially Christine, that works with Chromebook, and Erika that works in electronics, as well. As the floor supervisor Armen, they exhaled in being super awesome, accommodating their customers needs. Definitely, recommend this location. Its definitely about them making that money, but they went above and beyond on giving us great answers and deals! Crazy part! They dont even work Commission! Although I believe they should. Thanks guys!Cj
Friendly staff good prices
Good selection of electronics now that most stores are gone. You can touch and experience the product which lacks with online shopping.
Selection of headsets wasnt great and no iPads
They have many items on display that are often not actually available. Online supply may also vary from whats actually at this store
Dan and Gina are absolutely incredible. I lost faith in Best Buy after dealing with some terrible CSRs over the phone, but when I went to this store, these two went above and beyond any expectations I would ever have from any employee anywhere, especially a big corporation like Best Buy! They deserve everything good in life.
They had a mouse, that was a better deal than I was expecting.
5.0 star ratingI dont get all the bad reviews. I had a wonderful experience. Special thanks to Remi (I hope I got her name right) she works at the phone service area and to the manager, Johnathan. When above and beyond my expectations. Remi sat there with me for a hour on a phone I bought online. Thank you for your patience. Johnathan gave me his approval and gave me confidence to open my s20 box which i bought online. Such a beautiful phone and deal. Thank you Burbank BB. Ps... All the bad reviews I have read is because people didnt get it THEIR way because BB didnt break store policy that are there for a reason.
Still a fantastic place to go and by electronics. Just make sure you know what youre looking for and youve done your homework before you go in.
Jack was the best. Very knowledgeable and super friendly.
Buy most of my electronics from here and am pretty satisfied with the service. Dont forget they price match !
Very understanding despite me going to the wrong location first for my online pickup....yeah.. I spaced out...lol
Charging cables were pretty picked over. But the employees were friendly and helpful
I got a great deal on a brand new flatscreen from this location. The staff was very cool and helpful.
Wonderful staff helped find a good laptop for 2D animation! very patient
They had what I needed. Decent price and their service was okay.
Bought a dishwasher at the Pacific located inside. Set up a deliver date, the appliance never arrived on the date. Made multiple phone calls to dispatchers of the appliance company and nobody gave me an answer. Now have to wait over a month longer then the original delivery date for the unit to come if it comes. Terrible service.
Im always going to this location for manny years. Good size, great customer service better than other around the area
Kevin at Geek Squad helped us with our Iphone situation and I gotta say, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. He was patient, he knew exactly what the problem was and how to help us. Went above and beyond. Loved the service!
Experience was good they are being pretty responsible with how they are managing the pandemic. Put my order in online and picked up at the door. Fairly quick process. You can also walk up and request items.
The staff at this particular location are just beyond professional. The amount of knowledge and helpfulness is the reason I personally shop at best buy, the cleanliness is perfect and the protocol theyve set in place amongst these hard times due to COVID-19 is just an A++ in my book. The wait is worth the experience to feel a bit of normalcy.
I don’t know if they’re understaffed, or under educated about there products, But if we can get a handle on that, I would give them four stars.
Its starting to look like circuit City before the fall. I think they might be going out of business.
They sometimes have cheaper prices than Amazon.
