HORRIBLE experience. Will never shop at value city ever again. Bought a couch in November, comes in February and it is the wrong lengths. We go back to tell them to reorder us the right size and they tell us it will be 45 days. 45 days pass and they tell us they never even ordered the new couch!!! So I call customer service to get the right couch ordered. She tells us it was take 3 months. 3 months later they sent us the same couch!! Wrong right and left setting again!! Manager at the store didn’t say sorry, offer us any incentives, and even kicked us out! Customer service wouldn’t come pick up the couches for making 3 mistakes and told us we had to pay $100 for a pick up for the wrong couch!! 3 mistakes in 10 months for one order. Beware of shopping here. Make sure your order is correct before trusting anyone there.

My Bed just came after 5 month since I bought it. Wow! If you need your furniture quickly do not bother to go to value city. I am not just saying it because it not just me. I have someone who had the same experience. It is also noteworthy to mention they refunded my delivery fee as compensation. However the bed came as described and I like it.

The service we received from Sid Zepeda at the Burbank location was outstanding. He accommodated our delivery request and the pricing was superb. Efficient, friendly, and professional. Ask for him should you be in the area.

They got nice furniture but it is expensive for me so I cant afford it. I would recommend you take a look and see though.

Decent place as far as furniture stores go. We came here with my in-laws and we purchased them a nice bedroom set and mattresses. I cant remember the salespersons name but she was very nice, patient and helpful.

Great. I just wanted a chair for my desk just a hard wood chair with the sturdy back a walnut finish able to with stain grand baby jumping up and down or a grown up stepping on it to change a light bub or smoke detectors you know something like that.Wouldnt you know it, they had just one waiting on me the sale clerk said hi my name is victor my i take you money 😆 i said yes you may for the right chair 😆 lol

Ordered my furniture online May 5,2021 received my furniture May 26,2021 without the legs and pillows for my sectional. I was informed by the delivery driver someone would be in contact with me which no one never called. I called them several times and was hung up on twice. Finally spoke to someone who then told me I have to wait 4 months for the legs and pillows to my couch. Now one side of my sectional is sitting on the floor and the other half sitting up. It look so tacky. I’m completely dissatisfied. This is unacceptable for the money I paid in full for my sectional. I would never recommend anyone to shop at value city because they do not value their customers.

Typically get furniture from VCF and the service is always great butttt this time was different. Elliott was a great sales person and I wish the other part of my service reflected in the same way. Original delivery date was July 1st 2021 and I was told that I was lucky to get that. May 25th 2021 was my purchase date. Come 4 days before my delivery date, I get a call from a woman saying my delivery date changed due to manufacture not having enough workers. Remind you I knew this already because I checked my tracking number a few days before the woman called and noticed. I was a little taken back because she notified my so late. She was late to inform me! New delivery date was 7/29/21. 5 days before delivered I noticed that they set a delivery person and everything was scheduled to come on the delivery date. One day before delivery was schedule I received a call from the same woman saying that my bed frame won’t be delivered tomorrow. I asked her why she would notify me a day before she says I needed to take it up with the manufacturer. Customer service was a horrible experience this time around, minute Elliot being a great salesman. I’m never able to speak with a manager. I would no longer recommend this location!!!!

Terrible communication by the employees at this location. They barely answer the phone and an employee said they would call me in 5-10 mins. 30 mins go by. I call back and ask to speak to him and I’m being told he’s currently helping a different customer. What about the issue you were helping me with and said you would call back in 5-10?? They never called me to confirm my furniture being picked up either. I had to call the night before and they couldn’t give me a straight answer. Then, they gave me a queen headboard when I ordered king size. I had to find this out when I was unloading everything at home. Trying to fix this situation is currently a hassle because I’ve been told many different things. Was told they will have a guy deliver the correct one last night. Now they are saying tomorrow. Incredible inconvenience and such a headache due to the staff here.

On May 27th 2021, I was in the value city furniture store, I paid cash for my order, which I was told that I would receive on July 3rd 2021. I later got a phone call from a lady who told me that my order had been pushed back to the end of July. Today I called to recheck my delivery date, and someone picked up the phone five times and put it back on hold without saying a word. After waiting a few minutes, I called back and finally got someone who told me my order has now been pushed back to August 17th 2021 this is ridiculous. Never again.

We placed our bedroom furniture order in April with a delivery date of May 28 and received a call a few day before our delivery date saying they had not received the headboard piece but they had the rest of the stuff. They said we would have our furniture all together and delivered July 8 which we receive a call Tuesday saying they have received everything and set up a delivery date for this Friday July 2 from 10am-1pm and TODAY we get a vm saying they dont have the stuff that we have an estimated delivery date of August 27, 2021. Like did the furniture disappear Because I have no idea how they would set out a delivery date and confirm and then they call back and try to setup a different delivery date. What kind of services are these so unprofessional its going to be 4 months and we have been paying and no furniture SMH!!!

I made a cash purchase of 1500 and I conduct business here regularly and the manager did not want to negotiate the delivery price of 180.00.

Toleda was very knowledgeable and helpful for our bedroom purchase. She took her time, answered all our questions and gave us all her attention.

They lie about when the furniture will get to you!!! They just tell you an earlier date so they can sell and when you call about why they haven’t arrived they hang up or leave you on hold worst place to get furniture will not recommend HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

First of all I was there today with my mother who walks with a cane due to severe medical problemand I have Epilepsy. We had one of their staff members almost knock her down while we were shopping. I was walking next to her holding her one arm while she used the cane with the other. All that he needed to do was walk around a chair, or wait 10 seconds for us to pass.. I called back on my phone to speak to the manager several times after we got home was nothing but trouble. The first time I asked for the manager and was put on hold then disconnected. The second time I was directly put on hold then was hung up on.The third time they answered then I was disconnected. They would never let me talk to whoever was the manager.I have never seen anything this ignorant at a store, especially in times like now... I will NEVER go back to this chain again.And the saddest thing was going down the street to Ashley Furniture and being treated with respect and purchasing a new front room set...

Delivery men brought in my sofa and kitchen set and put it together and were out the door in 10 min! They were fast! Thank you

Value City Burbank Illinois has given me the most positive experience. The sales staff is engaged and shows concern for your selections and budget. They are ALWAYS courteous and respectful, clear in their communication, and attentive. The Lansing and Niles Illinois stores were not as great in my shopping experience. Hats off to the Burbank store!!!

Went to purchase a recliner I had gone before so I already knew what I was getting with the same person that took care of me the 1st just waited patiently for her she was a bit busy with other customers which was no problem with me the transaction was done smoothly and she was thorough with explaining everything about the insurance and picking up the recliner and when it would be available for pickup.

Purchased furniture from the Value City in Burbank IL. back on January 3, 2021. Poor service & delivery. When the coffee table arrive March 20, 21 it was defective. They sent a service tech out 4-4-21 that could not fix the table. A replacement was to be sent in June. Called today, May 13, 2021 and was disconnected 3 times and still no information on when the replacement is coming. Never buy from Value City. Terrible customer Service at the Burbank location by the ladies who answer the phone.

I bought a queen size bed from Value city but the legs was broken. My wife and I had purchased the insurance, witch was honored. Value didnt have the same bed so we were given x amount for a new bed, so we upgraded to king size.When they brought our new bed they were supposed to take the old one back but it wasnt on their paper work. They took it anyway even though it took from their time. These guys were quick and personal. Thank Jerry and team!
