Dont recommend this place at all. Had soft brake pedal. They inspected the brake for free. Came back in and told me there were air in the lines. Told them to bleed them. Waited 3 hours and finally they pulled it out. 86.00 and brake still the same. Took back next day cause of fluid spots on drive way, possible leak. They charged me 12.00 to put it on rack and WIPED off fluid they apparently spilled on back springs. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will be telling people what they did. Jack leg workers!!
The manager Ryan Larkin doesn’t know how to treat customers at all. He was very rude with 3 customers right in front of me, he said he was having a bad day. The service manager Cameron Wicker would be a better fit for general manager and customers would be better treated. Please fire Ryan and I’ll be back, otherwise I’ll never go to this store again.

On 6/22/2021 I have a new tire put on my Chevy Silverado at 1403 University Dr Burlington NC 27215. I drove it to the airport on 6/30/22 (first time driving it on the highway with the new tire). The tire makes a loud pop sound and the tire pressure starts to drop. I change the tire and on 7/2 bring it back to the store to have it replaced. The guy tells me that my story isn’t true and that “he 100% guarantees that the tire didn’t blow out”. There is a hole in the sidewall of this “brand new” tire. I did not hit anything, there was no debris on the roadway where I was driving, and to come in and basically be called a liar just adds more frustration to an already bad experience. This should be made right and I’m really disappointed in the way this has been handled.
I have been a valued multi-car customer at the Elon, NC for over 6 years. During that time, I experienced steady management and skilled and consistent technicians. I developed a positive relationship with them all. However, in the past two years, I have seen a steady decline in management and service. Recently, I took my minivan there for an oil change and discovered that I needed a headlight and air filter. Other services such as tune up were recommended. I had to return because the headlight was not fixed. Later that day after the visit, my minivan sounded like a truck. I took it to another shop near me (Firestone in Elon is almost an hour away) and they discovered that the bolts on the exhaust were either completely off or half off, invoking the obnoxious noise. I am writing this review with the hope that Firestone in Elon will get it together and return to doing great work again. I no longer trust the mechanics there to work on any of my vehicles.
Called to have my ac system evacuated so I could replace my compressor myself. They charged me only $40 bucks and this was after I first called Champion Automotive in Graham and they quoted me $190, dont ever go there. Firestone told me it would probably take an hour and a half to do the job. They finished the job in 20 minutes from the time I got there and I couldnt be happier. Reviews can be taken with a grain of salt, there are always good and bad reviews and I noticed Firestone had a bunch of bad ones. Not my experience at all, Very professional, honored the price they told me. Didnt see anything but hard working guys getting things done. Answered all my questions. There is a big difference between $190 and $40 dollars. Either place did not know if I was knowledgeable about auto repairs when they quoted me the price so you figure out who is honest and who tried to rip me off. Any company that is honest and saves me money is 5 stars in my book. Highly recommend.
They won’t repair tires with fix a flat in them.I told the employee at the counter I put fix a flat in the tire to get there. Nearly an hour later I’m told by a separate employee they don’t repair tires with fix a flat in them.A waste of time on a Sunday when many tire places are closed.Of course they offered to sell me a tire. I declined.Discount Tire up the street will repair your tire with fix a flat in it.
We got a really bad flat on our way home from a road trip and needed a tire replacement immediately. We called in, said they have the tire we need, and Cameron was already waiting outside for us. Got the tire changed in less than 20 minutes. He even checked the other tires without us having to ask. Definitely come here, theyll take care of you.

Being new to the area, I am grateful that I found a place that I can trust and get great vehicle service.
I get most of my work done here. Ive had spark plugs replaced, tires, rotors and even an axle on my wifes escape. The only downside is the labor is charged by the job and not hourly so you pay a little more, but the job does get done well.

My wife brang her mother’s vehicle here for inspection.Her vehicle had some fuse issues which we had straightened out at a electrical shop.On the way to this Firestone in Burlington.Now we were in here waiting for an hour for them to inspect the vehicle.One if the technician come out and tell us the vehicle failed.He told us the check engine light was on.Now I know it doesn’t take and hour to see a check engine light on in a vehicle,and if so why would you even consider doing an inspection if that was the case.And by the way,when they gave the vehicle back,no check engine light was on,just like when she first brang it in.My wife spoke to another costumer,who said they did not charge them for a failed inspection.My wife feels she was discriminated against,because the other customer was not charged.

Super customer service and quality work
Went for a simple oil change. Our vehicle was done for 20 minutes before they even noticed because they were to busy talking to their friends. Also had an employee racially profile a customer and same employee made fun of my mother. By the way the employees name is Jacob. We will not be back. I do not recommend this place to anyone. With everything going on in this world you’d think people would be a little more sensitive with what they say on the clock.

Very disappointed in the service here!!! Took my car for what i thought was a brake issue. They said it was a rotar, replaced it $400. As soon as I left it was still making noise when i braked!! I brought back next day...they kept it all day..2 hours past when it was due to be done!! Still didnt know. Poor customer service!!

This location displayed phenomenal customer service to me. My car was serviced in a timely manner despite them being busy. When I spoke with my technician he was willing to offer affordable solutions and it was clear he was not trying to push a sale but to work with me go promote the best outcome for me and my car. I will always return here for the stellar customer service.
While returning to Michigan from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we encountered a tire problem. The store manager SUPER RICK and his awesome crew solved our problem as and got us on our way quickly. An A+ for SUPER RICK. I would highly recommend this location for all of your automotive needs.

Do not go here for an inspection only. They do not take appointments and prioritize appointments over inspection only, even when they say first come first serve. They said that my wait would be at least 40 minutes when I arrived at opening, then when I said I would wait, they guessed that it would be 2 hours but could not say for sure. Went over to the quick lube across town and was in and out in 15 minutes.
Me and my fiance needed to get our ford focus worked on and inspected. Every time we went they found something new that needed to be replaced, after spending 2000 dollars on repairs we thought we were good. Until two days later when my car stopped dead in Gibsonville. They got an attitude when I told them what happened. We are never going back there. They didnt care and they kept finding things wrong with it except for what they should have found.... TERRIBLE PLACE TO PUT YOUR TRUST IN.
Awesome staff and I have never had an issue with work they have completed. Used to take my fleet vehicle here. Take my current vehicle and my wifes vehicle here if there are any issues, and not a problem. Highly recommend an appointment though, or you will have to wait.
Took my truck in to solve a vibration / wheel balance problem. $52 and it made the problem better but not solved. Took the truck somewhere else and 3 of 4 wheels still off balance by an ounce or more.
Above and beyond customer service! While waiting for my vehicles oil change, I watched first-hand how Jose went out of his way to download an app to be able to converse with an Asian customer, and assist him in handling having to salvage his car, and get a rental to continue his trip to NYC from NC. And, the customer gave him a difficult time, but he handled with professionalism and patience. Kudos! The are always fair and honest!
Went there a couple months ago for new brakes and rotary changes, came out squeaking like a pig, went back a least 4 times and still have the same problem. They either not change the brakes or the rotary, the service was awful. Never will I go back there again😡😡😡
Others may have had a better experience from the reviews I’ve seen. But my experience wasn’t pleasant.Customer Service and transparency was great.After getting an oil change and wheel alignment the cap of my transmission wasn’t placed back on properly and I didn’t realize it until I got a warning of no transmission oil from my car. This little mistake could have cost me a lot of money.

Terrible customer service! Just spent an hour pst my appointment time sitting waiting for a simple tire rotation. After 45 minutes of noticing my car has not been moved to a Bay Area I asked what the hold up was. The man in the office went into the shop but never returned with an answer. After waiting another 20 minutes I decided to leave and go to discount tire, where I was promptly taken care of. Do not recommend this place at all!
I went to firestone last week because I needed my brakes replaced and they did it immediately. Today I went to get my oil changed. Both times the staff was extremely nice, informative and efficient. Also, both times I went they offered me coupons! I will be going there from now on.
Would recommend for an alignment. Go early to be first in line as there popular. There coupons make a difference.

$135 for one tire. This better be the kind of tire that a nail cant even make its way through. Had it not been an emergency situation, I would have certainly gone to a place that does just as good of work, but without robbing their customer.

Had a couple of auto issues: needed alternator, new tires, and upper arm ball joints. Chris, the technician provided superior work and communication. He is an asset to this shop. So, the ball joints (and oil change) came first. Returned two days later for a new alternator and new tires. Patricia and Carnell gave expert advice, great price on the tires and repairs. Have been coming to this location for 5 years without a complaint. Excellent work. Huzzahs to Chris, Patricia and Carnell.
$850 for pads rotors and calipers. But not for all 4 tires. That $850 is for the rear brakes only 🤔 Get better buying power thus reducing consumer prices and I might be back.
Check engine auto failed the e-check. New to the are and didn’t know. Store kept my car for 4 hours. Then offered to do a diagnostic. Walked out paying $129. Now another $400 for sensors. Priced out sensors online for $40. Not my first bad experience at this location.

This place is always trying to upscale you on something you do not need. Also will charge you more on parts when factory parts are available from the dealership. I have pretty much relegated them to oil changes and state inspections because they are close to my home although price for oil change is always higher than there coupons and you have to them no thank you when they want to sell you unnessary stuff. Now I take my car in for inspection and they try to upscale me on 3 different things.when I say no they say my 6 month old wiper are torn and will not pass inspection and they happen to have them on sale for 29..99 I refuse and they insist that I have to pay for inspection and refuse to give me my keys. I inspect blades with flashlight and find no tears on them. Will never be back again. They like to prey on women and overcharge for stuff you do not need.
I had a timeframe to meet on this day and the service was over and beyond as always. I was able to meet my timeframe with no setbacks which is why I highly recommend this location. All my vehicles are brought here for great service and your more like family the a customer.
My experience has been mixed. Recently had a major repair at the Burlington Firestone that two days later on a cross country road trip with a breakdown on the interstate that another Firestone location tech said the cause was unfinished work from the Burlington location. Burlington said not true. I paid heavily.
Went here 4-27-19 to get a truck inspected was told they had 3 cars to do and they wouldnt be able to get to it and that they can do it on 4-28-19. So I leave and come back on 4-28-19 to learn that they dont have the funds I guess to buy ink for a printer to do my inspection. What a waste of my time.... I will not be back. And I debated about coming here in the first place because one of there inspectors named Corey a couple of years ago drove one of my trucks into there bay and used my truck to move the oil drain can out of the way with my front end. And was driving crazy in the parking lot to do the safety test, you dont have to burn my tires off my truck to do a safety test.
Fuel pump issue turned into major head gasket issue. Good for 15 miles on first visit before car would no longer run. Drove 20 miles after 2nd visit. Still not running properly. $1600.00 down the drain.
Air filter from a company vehicle that was serviced (see pic). We also had a mirror knocked off the truck, that no one said anything about until I called back in. Had issues with my personal truck at this location. Spoke to manager and showed him the filter, did not seem to have much care. Will not be back.
Arrived at 7am when they open with no one in front of me, told them I needed an oil change and rotation. They said Id need to leave it because they had a lot of over night vehicles to do first, that they couldnt get to it until 10:30am. I told them Im going somewhere else because obviously yall do not have clue. My service would take them 15 minutes tops and all those over nights were commercial vehicles that werent going to get picked up until Monday. It blows my mind the lack of business savvy and let of customer service this service center has. It would have been an easy and quick service, but no they decided to pass up on money and a repeat customer. Hope the owner reads this and educates his employees.
This place is customer focus. Its not the cheapest place but look for coupons for good deals. They do a very good job.
Just visited today 8-9-18 although doesnt matter when I go because they are ALWAYS Slow, terrible customer service and no need to set an appointment because you will wait so long it doesnt matter! Firestone listed at 140 University Blvd, Burlington NC is the worst! They are extremely slow and do not value your time. All I ask is if you are running behind which I know car repairs sometimes will do just be courteous to tell me so that I may decide if I am able to wait or if I need to reschedule. Also this location is rude! The employees at this location have smart mouths and I experienced one of the employees talking about me and my complaint loudly on the phone with other customers in line. After I said something to him about it he continued to say harsh things as if I wasnt sitting there. I purchased lifetime alignments for 3 of my cars and unfortunately will have to deal with this location. Next time I just know to take lunch and dinner because they are so damn slow!
Called to price a set of tires. I was given an out the door price so I came to store to purchase. Upon arriving the sales lady could not find the phone number or remember which tire vendor she called. Then I was quoted almost 300 more. Was so disappointed after I already got the out the door price on phone. The store wouldnt honor the price that I was quoted so I called corporate number in which they called and spoke with store manager then tell me they will honor it. Problem is I as the customer should not have to call a corporate number to get the problem resolved. So clearly customer service is not at the top of the list.. you lost out on a 1,300 sale congratulations!
They claimed I needed 2 new tires. Ok, fine. This is the second time theyve put tires on the car. However, first, the car was shaking and shimmying after I picked it up. Brought it back and they supposedly fixed it. Not really, no.And now? I had a flat tire and took it to another place - turns out, the Firestone staff was too lazy to open the car door and check the correct tire size. I had 2 tires on the front that differed from the 2 tires on the back, and ALL of them are the wrong size.I paid for free alignments for life on this car, and will continue to use them for that. Otherwise? Heck no. Never again.
On vacation, first road trip in a year. Jeep pulling hard left so I goggled Tires Plus first to find the only one was behind us. The great thing is Bridgestone owns all Tires Plus, Firestone, expert tire and even Wheel works out in California. Total of 2300+ store. Well my point is I called this location and talked to the manager and explained what was going on and he said no problem bring it on in we have one on the rack now youll be the next one in and turn around should be 45min. Great looking store great service.
Glad I didnt go hear. I went in to see how long an inspection would take an inspection would take and the lady who checks people in was so dry and stale. She was overly nice to the lady infront of me but when I stepped up her entire demeanor changed. After reading the reviews, Im glad I decided not to go with Firestone.I ended up going to Cox Toyota. Which had great customer service and made me feel like my business mattered.
Great service. I am taking off a star as the Wifi is not so great. I sometimes go in during the morning hours on a Thursday or Friday and always end up using my phones wifi as I cannot get connected at Firestone. Highly recommended for their work and you should make an appointment. If you just show up, you may not get in - especially on the weekends.
Went on a Sunday. Got 2 new tires. In and out in about an hour. Salesman was very nice, did not try and push additional products on me. Will visit again if need be.
Went in for a inspection and failed because of two rear tires. The tires looked fine so I got a second opinion and rear tires were fine. Feel they ripped me off and wanted me to buy tires. I will not be going back as there are plenty of other options.
Needed a tire replaced that was not covered under warranty. No big deal. Its gotta be replaced. Told me they could not do oil change because I would not pay 30.99 for an oil cap that cost 3.97 at Walmart. Yes I looked it up. He said he would have to stop them from emptying the oil. I said stop then. He came back and said they already started emptying the oil. They would figure something out. I paid for my oil change. Looked at my paperwork when I got in the car. He did not order the tire!!! Wow! Never going back there. I got the Walmart parking lot checked to see what they figured out, nothing, they put the same cap back on. Hmm seems strange. All good Im at Walmart they are replacing my same exact brand, and type for 60.00 not the 100 Firestone wanted.and my 3.00 cap. I never declined the tire. Oh well lost a long time customer over something simple.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Still waiting after being told my wait is only 30 mins, and I’m JUST seeing it now being worked after 2 hours. They lied about parts that I need and upcharge everything. All I need is a quick inspection and they just talk back with complete disrespectful tone. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Called them when we were in need of a tire for some one stranded in greensboro. We had 2 option. Here or Winston Salem and we should jave went to Winston Salem. Said they had the tire but when we got there they searched for and did not have it. Blamed it on computer error. Said he didnt go looked when we called because they just done inventory last month. Really put us in a bind. Then we still had to drive all the way to Winston Salem. That is just poor customer service.

Had an appointment ton 1.28.19 for a state inspection, oil change and alignment. My appointment was at 4:30 I didn’t end up leaving until the shop closed at 7. When i was called to check out I figured I passed the inspection because if I didn’t surely it would have been brought to my attention beforehand. I pay and the front desk clerk is trying to find my paperwork for the DMV, she couldnt find it and then looks at the diagnostic sheet for the inspection. Come to find out my vehicle failed due to having a check engine light on that was not illuminated. I’m just diasapointed because I feel as though this should have been brought to my attention hours ago or whenever they found out. Not when I’m leaving and the shop is closing. Poor communication between the technician front desk. I feel like every time I come here in the future it’s going to be this nonsense. If I didn’t have the lifetime alignmentI can assure you this place wouldn’t get anymore of my business.
First and last visit to Firestone on University in Burlington, NC. No toilet paper in their unisex bathroom. No coffee made even after another customer asked at 9:00am. They gave me the basic oil change when I wanted synthetic. The clerk told me the oil change would last 5,000 Miles, yet the sticker in the my window said 3,000 Miles. Workers not friendly. Crappy place.
A three at best a year ago, had to pop in again quickly this year. Customer service still very lacking. Go elsewhere.
Poor work. Had to make 3 trips in and complain to corporate offices to have my Truck repaired correctly. I will never go back and recommend no one go there for mechanical issues.

This operation deserves a 5 Star rating.My daughters car recently stopped near this store. She was driving home from college and had almost 3 more hours before reaching her destination.This Auto Care Center diagnosed the problem and made a major repair in roughly one (1) hour. She was literally back on the road in less than an hour & 15 minutes. We could not have been more pleased with the customer service.They went over and beyond the necessary requirements. The nice thing, we got the impression that going over and beyond, going the extra mile, is the stores standard.Thank you!

Worst Customer service ever, had my car towed there on Sunday because of a flat tire. I was there for about three hours just for them to tell me that the only tires they had for my car were $700 plus alignment. When I refused those high priced tires they told me I would have to wait until Monday when the warehouse opened for cheaper tires. Monday morning they quoted me tires for $540 but I knew they could get me some cheaper and were trying to get over on me. The tire manager Denise called me and said she found tires for $400. Huge difference from the $700 tires they tried to get me to buy. These male dominated companies love to cheat women. I will NEVER return.
This was my experience with Firestone in Burlington. Got appt to have my truck aligned at 4:30 on 2/24/19. While they were aligning my truck I was told that it was pulling to right when you apply the brakes, I have back pressure in the brake system, it needs work. I tell them I just had all the brake components replaced last month, everything is brand new brakes work great. It pulls to the right all the time, not just when applying brakes, I just need an alignment. So right before they are closing at 6, I pay $108 for alignment. However, on the highway headed home, I notice that my truck is pulling to the right way worse than it was when I took it in to Firestone. Take the next exit & head back, but they were already closed up for the day. So I head back to Firestone Sunday morning to have them correct the alignment. I ask if there is a tech or manager available to drive my truck with me so they can see the problem. I was told that no one was available & it would be 3-4 hours before they could look at my truck because they have appts for today & will have to work me in. I explain to the guy that I had an appt yesterday & have already paid for my work that is not correct & feel like they should be able to correct my problem before working on appts from today. He didn’t seem to care much about what i thought, & again told me it would be 3-4 hours before they could work me in. I asked about an appt for later Sunday & was told they were already booked & I could get an appt for Monday. Get an appt on Monday for you guys to fix work that is wrong from Saturday that I’ve already paid for?? What a joke!! So I hope this review helps, wish I would have done some research & read some reviews before I went there. Seems like I had the same experience as others who left bad reviews, poor customer service & trying to sale me some work that I didn’t need.
Not a great experience with these folks today. Apparently they cant even do a simple tire rotation without using an air hammer. Took my car, which has nice aftermarket wheels and lug nuts, to this shop for a quick rotation and they informed me that they didnt want my money, they couldnt take the risk that they would screw up something this simple.If you want somebody competent, apparently youll need to try someone else. I gave them an extra star for admitting they would screw it up before they did so. Our technicians are prepared for all your vehicle needs.. Not so. Clearly not so. Businesses shouldnt represent themselves to the public one way and then act another. It is a low standard of practice.

Made an appointment for a new set of tires for 11:30. They said theyd have me out in 30 minutes. Tires didnt show up at the store until 12:30. Turned into a 2 hour ordeal which I didnt have time for. Would have been ok if they had just communicated with me but I guess they didnt want to miss the sale. I despise it when people waste other folks time.
Their customer services leaves something to be desired. I typically drive to Greensboro now- I would rather go that far for better customer service!
