Kru is an outstanding venue, with its perfect corner location on Church and Pearl and a gorgeous interior. Burlington Writers Workshop was so very pleased to hold an event at Kru this past Sunday (our first gathering in many months!). Lisa and Tommy were exceptional hosts, and our collection of writers was jubilant to be celebrating the launch of our latest book anthology in such a beautiful and dynamic environment. The specialty coffee drinks and artisan pastries were delectable, the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Kru!!

I want to love this place.. the location and atmosphere are great, food and coffee are good, but unfortunately the wait times are long and it is way overpriced.

Second time checking this place out and I love it. The cappuccino is very good, great ambiance, friendly staff. I love the decor & high ceilings. Actually the best cappuccino Ive gotten in the states. Great atmosphere and the furniture is very comfortable. Expertly trained baristas. I will visit again. Bathrooms are very nice and well kept.

Tommy and Lisa were incredibly generous when they donated several coffee pots and boxes of pastries to our charity motorcycle ride. It was blustery day, so the warm coffee warmed us up and fueled our spirits. The treats were a topic of conversation because everyone wanted to know where they could get more! Whether you’re visiting Burlington or a local, definitely check out Kru.

Great place to sit and work. They have plenty of seating and outlets. I will note that I was booted off the wifi after two hours, which was a little annoying.

Not impressed, I was referred here based on the excellent donuts and coffee. They were out of donuts, I then ordered a breakfast sandwich and they were out of biscuits. How about if you are so great try not running out of everything. I’m quite annoyed

We got coffee and hot chocolate from Kru for our toddler’s COVID appropriate sledding birthday last weekend in Burlington, where temps were in the single digits. The coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and hot! The Kru team did a great job in creating a sledding party drink package for us- they even gave us a cup full of marshmallows :) We will definitely do this again!

Kru is one of the first local coffee shops that my girlfriend and I went to when we moved to Burlington, and not only was my Nitro Latte *incredible*, but the Warm Sugar donut I had was hands-down the best donut I have ever eaten. GO HERE GO HERE!

Ive visited Kru twice since it opened and have been disappointed each time. My first visit was back in the summer when there was still seating inside. There was a long line but the workers were speedy and the wait wasnt long. My matcha was alright and my breakfast sandwich was small, but amazing. Pretty expensive for what youre getting, but so is everywhere on Church Street. My second visit was last week and it was much more disappointing than the first. They only had two workers in the front, so there was a long wait. My chai was not good and I couldnt even get a breakfast sandwich, which was the whole reason for going, because they stop serving them after 1pm. I dont drink coffee, but each time we went, my friend said her coffee was always disappointing as well. There are way better spots for drinks on Church Street, Im not going to bother with this one again.

Try the nitro cold brew! Its silky and delicious! The baristas are always so friendly and they seem to have a good grasp on this COVID precaution stuff. Thank goodness for baristas making our lives seem semi-normal again.

I just couldnt help but love the Cardi Bee 🐝🍯 Great atmosphere, comfortable mixed seatings with plenty of windows. I really liked the hands-on approach of the baristas.

I have been twice since they opened, both this summer and I enjoyed going both times. I stumbled acrossed it when a friend was visiting and we loved it. Serivce was quick, coffee was good, loved the sandwhiches!

Beautiful space and good coffeeJust had a cup of regular joe - light roast. The price was right and the atmosphere was great. The space is open and airy, tastefully decorated. Wi-Fi interface, without using Facebook as a sign-on, is somewhat cumbersome. Only open between 7:00a to 5:00p. Hopefully, longer hours soon.

I went their Sunday as I love their Nutella lattes. The girl at the register was positive. There were 4 of us waiting and they made us plain lattes accidentally. In the meantime the two of them were joking amungst themselves ans didnt ecknoledge any of us in the room. I asked and the manager who made them, took them back and poured a little nutella in them and handed them back instead of apologizing and making new drinks. There was a little grosse piece of excess something in mine. I run a cafe and was really disappointed. I threw mine out as soon as I walked out the door and saw that floating something plus it wasnt a nutella latte. Poor service, poor lattes. Not what I experienced last summer-

Stopped in for a quick cup of tea today. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it was properly steeped and then added to my cup, instead of the typical Tea in bag, bag in cup, hot water in cup, lid on, ... aaaand go! Sure, it took 3 minutes to steep my tea, but all good tea takes time. The atmosphere inside is very nice. Im looking forward to going back regularly.

The nutella latte is absolutely fire, the donuts are SO GOOD, and I just like the whole vibe of the place. In retrospect I think they used cream instead of milk which is actually my preference but it would technically be a breve🤔

The coffee quality was 3 outta 5 stars but the price was outrageous 5$ n change (6.15 with the tip) for barely 6 oz of cappuccino...needs to be bigger in all honesty especially rt now i feel like they r taking advantage because they know quality coffee is limited in downtown burlington...i dont think that 12 oz for $5 isnt too much to ask...break a neighbor off some coffee!

Such good coffee with a variety of flavors / special orders but I think my order got rung up wrong because I ended up paying $8.18 for a small Cardi B iced coffee which is nearly triple the price of any other iced coffee Ive purchased in Vermont. Otherwise it is great.

Was really hoping to like this place, especially since uncommon closed, but i’ve gone several times now and i’ve yet to get a latte that didn’t taste super weak. usually i can taste the leftover spices from the previously mixed drink more than the espresso.

Very good spot, delicious cookies. A bit disappointed by the Nutella latte that doesnt taste Nutella at all... would come back to try a different speciality drink.
