Sometimes when I’m on the other side of town I go to this location bc its more convenient after work. They have the WORST customer service, managers included. Don’t bother asking them a question when you need help because they might roll their eyes at you. The Webb ave location is much more friendly and helpful.

Been to the place maybe like 10 billion times. It has always been a consistently good experience and I’m sure I will return in the future.

Cheap prices, but limited selections on many items. The produce is iffy as far as freshness goes. Good butcher shop. FL is the bargain basement of grocery stores. They do not offer a choice of paper bags unless you ask, and they do not offer to help you with your grocery carry-out. If you do ask for help, you will find yourself waiting at the front of the store for 10 to 15 minutes while they convince someone to help. Also, the checkout people seem stressed and exhausted. Is FL making their employees work through their breaks?

The cash register associates are very helpful and polite.

Always crowded never enough people for check out and the self-checkout is always closed whats the point of having it if its not convenient for the customer I thought we was still practicing social distance I try not to go there when I come to Georgia they need to do better

Its nice that food lion has self check out areas now but their customer service has dropped because of it. There wasnt one register open that was not self check out and I saw at least 3 employees just standing around talking while me and at least 2 other shoppers had to check ourselves out. One of the shoppers buying alcohol literally had to walk towards one if the talking associates just to get their attention to assist him with the purchase. Looking forward to the new food stores opening in town if this is how food lion operates now.

Food Lion, many years ago was known as Food Town.Its a regional grocery store with a small town feel,yet has a wide variety of food items for everyone. Most have the usual produce and a deli/bakery. I feel that they have an excellent meat department. A caviot about the meat department... back in the early 1980s a local TV station ran a investigation about the out of date stamps being covered over with later dates. This changed their meat departments way of operations thus completely, turning around to be transparent and in terms became known as the best meat to be had. To this day,if I want a good steak; this is the first stop I make. Did I mention that most Food Lions have a chicken wing bar. Also the produce is kept on a fresh rotation. In summary; the prices are fair and the stores are clean. I would recommend Food Lion for your grocery needs.

Very well stocked today with the specials of the week. You run into low stock on special pretty often at some stores. Friendly atmosphere.

The plaza has Food Lion, with Low prices and great selections. Almost a separate entity from Food Lion, their own unique place and a few restaurants and hair salon place in the plaza .. Also Deloche showroom with some nice, trendy clothes for women (jewerly and shoes . ) Discounted prices with designer lables from China .

I moved to Elon two years ago and this is one of the stores where I shop on a semi-regular basis. The employees are nice and service is generally okay when Ive been there. I have had several recent frustrating experiences with some employees who were restocking shelves. As long as you know where to find stuff on your own, youre probably okay. Its been consistently difficult for me to find employees there who can check on items that arent where they usually are. If you dont mind a gum-chewing high schooler telling you, If it aint on the shelves, we dont have it. then youre probably fine. In the age of computer inventory, no one there has yet offered to try and look it up on their little handheld inventory device. Funny, just last week at the nearby Target store, I asked a young employee about an item that I purchase regularly and that seemed to be out of stock. The kid immediately went to his official Target e-device and within 15 seconds told me specifically what day they were getting the product in, AND how many they were receiving. Go figure. Ill probably continue to buy some things at this Food Lion location but two days ago I purchased a two pack of NY Strip steaks. I grilled them (medium rare) tonight and they were inedible – tough as shoe leather ... no exaggeration. So, in the future Ill avoid buying beef there and stick with the great butcher department just down the road at Harris Teeter. Ive genuinely tried to like this store but it just comes up a bit short too often.

The store at 3535 S Church St, Burlington, NC has had employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 recently. Despite this, they dont want to provide testing or time off for testing to employees that were in close contact with these people. They only told them to be on the lookout for symptoms and to continue working. The managers name is Tony and despite their early assertions that there would be paid time off to quarantine and test, that hasnt been the case now that someone has tested positive. My friends that work in this store are very worried as they all have high risk relatives. The management at this store has failed to protect its employees and is negatively impacting the health of our community.

Food Lion is a regional grocery chain which prides itself on lower prices. Stores are clean and spacious. Staff is pleasant and helpful at the store I use. The produce is fresh as is the meat. The chain does not carry furniture or shoes, etc.

Observed numerous employees with masks pulled down and some with no masks at all; interacting with shoppers and even bagging their produce! Shoppers were doing a much better job than staff. Lots of elderly people from Twin Lakes get groceries from here. If you know some, let them know to shop elsewhere. Guess what; if they dont want to wear masks or wear them properly; they probably arent washing hands either. Thanks about it...I complaind to manager Mike.

This store never has everything I need so I end up having to visit Lowes Foods or Harris Teeter afterwards to get everything i needed.

Love this store for its size, arrangement, location, and nice staff. The produce quality is always good as well as the meat selection. The store in general is always very clean. Unless the word snow is in the forecast, the checkout is usually speedy. I prefer shopping here for groceries as opposed to dealing with the Walmart crowd.

Store food shelves are a joke, never harldly have I been in this store when it was completely stoked.yesterday the shelves were pitiful yet half the help was out side eather gossiping or smoking. The teller at the 12 or less counter was ill at the world . I had a problem with the card reader and she just stud there with her arms crossed frowning .She didnt want to be there and I will never ever again. Other stores have there selves stocked why not foodlion.

Employees dont follow the direction of markers on the floor and come right up on you NOT social distancing themselves or wearing masks. Was there awhile while I patiently did the route and never heard 1 reminder announcement to customers reminding them as well to follow directional. for the many offenders I witnessed. I guess everyone thinks they cant get COVID-19, be a carrier or pass it on to you. Droplets can pass INTO the eyes infecting you so a mask is only a partial effort.

I felt it was crowded. Too many people without masks even though they supposed to be wearing them to enter the store.One way paths not being observed by many and the register area was not sanitized before I was checked out by the cashier.

DO NOT USE TO GO at this location! Pick Up Time was changed then employee who was RUDE and very unprofessional came out to the car FINALLY and said my order did not come through the APP. Mind you they took $143 out of my checking account. Employee tells me there is nothing she can do and gave me a number to call which was incorrect number because I DID NOT use instacart I used Food Lion direct website! Now I don’t have groceries that I paid for. The Company that handles the To Go said Food Lion is waiting on me to pick up but Food Lion said it’s nothing for me to pick up!!! Hopefully this will help someone save time and money by going somewhere else or maybe it will help Food Lion by training employees to be more professional and use direct sources instead of third party.

Dont get a job there they threatened to fire me for not talking to a customer who had walked behind me when i was putting stuff on the shelf. They hardly gave me any hours to work at the start of me working there i was working on average 12 hours a week then down to 6 and then 2 weeks later they fired me because i did not make the cut. They do very little training they constantly get on to you if you dont know where stuff is no matter how long you have been there. the only thing i liked about working there was getting payed $10.00 an hour

I like this location. They typically have enough cashiers to move you through quickly. Everyone seems to be friendly and courteous.

I shop here every week and its always clean and well stocked. They also have good manager specials a lot of the time.

The front end manager with the nose ring just told me she was not open as she was ringing up a customer. I went another line and before I could get checked out, she was already ringing up another person. I had 4 items in my cart which would have taken 30 seconds to ring up. Good job nose ring, you have just solidified the reason why Food Lion is in trouble in the grocery world. But what do you care right? You clearly have no people skills.

I felt very unsafe in Food lion today. No one was wearing masks, including employees. No one was wiping off carts. It seemed there was no protection from COVID19.

Stop in and pick up dinner regularly! Rotisserie chicken, slaw or Mediterranean pasta salad. Oh my gosh, it’s soo good! I like taking advantage of the MVP items, cause it’s a wonderful way to stay stocked up and keep great prices in your budget. Shop regularly and stay stocked up! Nowl there’s this new buy certain items during the month and accumulate points that earn money to be spent by the end of the following month. It’s great cause I’m buying things I’d buy anyway and get money to spend back on my groceries! Also it’s not stressful like Walmart AND in my opinion..better produce and meats! Food Lion stands behind everything they sell! I spend most of my food dollars here and I’m always satisfied with my purchases!!!

I not only frequent the liberty NC branch but the south church street as well. I tried their grocery pickup today and they are delightful even in pouring rain very knowledgeable and accommodating

After shopping at Aldi the last few times, going into Food Lion to shop was a breath of fresh air. Getting fresh deli sliced meat at a great price is something Ive missed.

Clean store, friendly associates, decent prices. Not a low as Wal-Mart, but lower than Harris teeter and Lowes grocery.

Went in to get pastries. Asked the bakery attendant if they had anymore of the songle pastry I was looking for and she showed me to a rack where they were in bulk packaging. As I go to buy one she says they are bogo so I think to myself score i collect my pastries and proceed to checkout. The pastries were not bogo and the employee had lied to me about it even though there was a sign indicating the sale as well. In my dissapointment i politly declined my entire order. Because I feel that I had wasted my time. They were not accommodating about the incident.
