Its good to have a Auto Repair shop in Caldwell like 4Motion....Dennis, Alan and all of the Garage Mechanics are outstanding. I have only been taking my car there Since March, and they fix whatever is needing done. They keep you informed if theres anything you need to know about ahead of time. Great service! Took a Passat bought at auction to them to make sure it could be a lasting vehicle. They were extremely thorough and called me with updates often. They car needed a lot of work and they cleared all errors reported by the vehicle (67 I believe). They have provided a serviced vehicle I am comfortable that my son driving. I gave them a price point and they called me with updates when it got close. This car will be going to this shop regularly. Thank you 4 motion!

Class, intelligence and patience. These guys a are the real deal. Brought my Westy for a transmission seal replacement and they did not disappoint. After the instal, I was super paranoid about a separate leak and not only did they tow me back in, they even paid for part of it. Turns out I was the buffoon and all it needed was some coolant. Props to you guys, my go to when in Boise.

These guys are great. Up front and honest. I came here for a second opinion. Another shop told us it would be $5400 to fix. More than I paid on the car originally! 4 motion fixed it for $1400 with a used differential which worked for me! Thanks guys! It will be so great to have my car back.

Honest, ethical, affordable, flexible. All words to describe this shop and the staff that run it. Most other places always try to nickel/dime you and hike up prices. Not this place. They hear you out, and work towards finding a solution while keeping prices fair. Can work around scheduling and are always cheery and full of joy. They take the time to explain to you whats going on and how they intend to fix it, as well as addressing anything else along the way and give quotes before proceeding. Best peace of mind someone could ask for. Fantastic customer service and I cant think of a better place to treat your pride and joy than this group of incredible beings!

After my Audi Q7 spent 5 months at another shop I was refered to the guys at 4 Motion Automotive. After dropping off my Q7 they found the problem and went over my options. After picking up the car it drove smoother and ran like it should. I would recomend 4 motion to everyone. Great personable service with no BS.

I was referred to 4Motion by a good friend. They could have sold me (since I know basically nothing about cars) on a pricey repair due to a lit icon on the instrument panel. They checked it over; faulty sensor. Repair isnt necessary. Trustworthy. Honest. Ill be bringing my daughters car back as needed without a single worry of being taken advantage of.

Brought my 2012 VW CC in with intermittent oil pressure problems. The history of the car was not clear which didnt help with troubleshooting. Regardless of its history Alans knowledge of Volkswagen engines quickly resulted in a solution. Reasonable prices, excellent communication and overall service. Ill will definitely be bringing my CC back for future services.

Dennis at 4 Motion Automotive goes up and beyond for his clients. 4 Motion Auto has worked on my VW Passat Diesel. Besides getting my balance shaft redone, I recently broke my turbo. My Turbo went out and I needed my car the next week to go to Bozeman for the holidays and they werent going to be able to get it done because the earliest the turbo could be sent was a week out. Dennis and the Owner at 4 motion, took the brand new turbo off there own car they were rebuilding and put it on my so I could go home for the holidays. 4 Motion Auto is an exceptional place to go and my family and I really appreciate everything they have done.

When I had a problem with my car; I was able to get it in the same day. Allan is honest and doesnt try to replace things that dont need replaced He is the only one I trust with my car and hope that he is around a long time. I would recommend him anytime to anyone.

Quick & friendly service

My car thru a belt while passing thru on the freeway. I first called another shop that referred me to these folks. They were able to look at my car that day (it was close to closing time) and get the replacement belt ordered and had it installed the next morning. I simply cannot say thank you enough. If I lived here, I would certainly use them again.

So far Ive had nothing but extremely positive experiences at 4motion. Allan has been super friendly, respectful, clear, and pleasant to deal with. I brought in my VW TDI with a leaky transmission pan and he fixed it quickly for a very reasonable price. A few months later my car wouldnt start and I called him, and rather than having me tow it into his shop, he shared a tip with me that helped me get it running myself. A+ mechanic, hes got a new committed customer!

The heater motor on our Audi Q7 failed in the middle of January. Not only did the staff of 4Motion see us same day on a Friday, but they had the parts on Monday, repaired the car did a full service and had it back to us Monday afternoon. We will not go anywhere else.
