Honest review here Ive had to take my duramax to jbj about 3 times now. 1 was for electrical 2 others were mechanical. The mechanic had no problem finding the electrical issue huge thumbs up there. The mechanical issues were also fixed without any headache. Everyone is very friendly. Best mechanic I have been to in the valley by far I will definitely be going to them for my problem child truck.

I had a big list of things i wanted done and they performed perfect to a T. Clean install great techs and staff.. had a question/issue that was resolved in the most professional manner I have ever dealt with, wasnt even an issue just a lack of knowledge on my part and was explained to me along with a dyno test to show truck was performing as intended. Even was given a loaner truck as had issue to drop off/pick my truck up for this . In my opinion this is the best service/quality install/and follow up on product I have ever seen... will and have recommended for anything diesel this crew is top notch and in future as needed will be back. Really great shop! Really great team of people! Jake and his crew did an amazing job on my 2006 Ford f250 6.0l. I had some injector problems and they replaced them fast and at a good cost! Then few months later I blew a transmission and I called Jake and he told me tow it down and we will get it fixed right away! I loaded it on the trailer and brought it to him. We talked about transmissions and pricing and he helped me alot! Him and his crew got it done really fast timing and even did a over check of everything for me! This is BY FAR, THE BEST SHOP i have been ever.Cleanest shop you will ever see, all the staff is more than profesional.Show up on Monday with a damage VGT ACTUATOR on my Ram 3500 2018; Justin (Tech) scanned the truck and in fact the VGT ACTUATOR was bad. After Jake and Tony make few calls, they were able to find me a BD DIESEL PERFORMANCE VGT TURBO, i use this truck for hotshot trucking, so i had to have the engine brake working. Long story short, turbo show up next day, and Justin jump into right away and knocked down in just 7hrs.Price was fair, Customer Service was OUT OF THIS WORLD, all the team was super friendly.Couldn’t expect more out of a shop! Please Tony and crew, next time i visit y’all, make sure you have a coffee maker machine! Lmao!Thanks once again for all your dedication!!

Awesome folks and speedy service. Had them swap out my fuel filter on my 98 Cummins 24 valve and they got it done in one hour, no leaks and quality work, even though they had to get a specific filter for my application.... I would highly recommend them for any diesel mechanic work!!

I went to JBJ Diesel to have dyno testing done on my car. The first thing that will standout to you is how clean and professional the shop is. Jake and his crew were awesome and they were very careful with my car. Jake explained the dyno process and exactly what he would be doing.They have a big screen that shows you what your engine is doing throughout the whole pull, which is really cool to see. They keep an electronic copy of your run and give you a printout to keep. That way in the future you can use it to compare against new runs. Overall excellent experience at JBJ, highly recommend!!

JBJ Diesel and his team are very knowledgeable people that really know how to take care of their customers! The shop is high end and also has a dyno. I took my 2016 RAM 3500 6.7 Cummins in with a problem and check engine light. The guys diagnosed the issue and replaced the sensor causing the problem next day. I’m new to the Boise area, but am happy to say that I found my new diesel mechanic!

My friend and I were informed that these guys had great reviews which is very true and I don’t understand where they get them from because we went in and were told to wait for a gentleman that sat at the front desk and took care of the appointments and billing. As we sat there we saw several different guys come in and out of the building and finally a gentleman was standing at his desk and we started discussing about my light having issues and he said “what do you want me to do“ I don’t know buddy but I’m pretty sure I went to a mechanic for mechanical work on my vehicle I will never ever bring any of my vehicles here with that kind of attitude wasted not only my time but thank you for showing me not to waste anymore time with you guys in the future! Word of advice take care of your customers if you want to continue growing don’t just pick and choose to people you want to favor that’s not human.

You can tell a lot by a company and how it’s ran just by how clean they keep their establishment. If anyone has been around a shop before they know that it’s not uncommon to see oil stains, grease everywhere etc. This shop looks like it was built yesterday! The employees are courteous and knowledgeable as well. Will continue to do business with them in the future. Jake and Justin are top notch guys.

Found this company through great reviews online. As soon as I drove up, I was greeted and taking care of. They gave a rough estimate on the spot and called within a few hours giving a direct quote. My truck was ready within a couple days. I highly recommend them if you want great, fast, and upfront customer service.

After taking my rig 4 times to the local dealership for the same problem with no resolution, I googled diesel mechanics and came across JBJ Diesel. I gave them a call, explained the issue and was told to bring my vehicle by the next day. So I did. They were busy; really, really busy... but they remembered talking to me and said they’d be right over. And they were. They pulled the code which came up ambiguous, then actually took the time to lift the hood and do a visual inspection. These guys are mechanics, not just technicians who read codes and are lost if the code doesn’t tell them exactly what the problem is. The best part of it is they figured out the problem and didn’t just didn’t do the minimum to get me out of there. The place is clean and organized. Really nice people too; Jake, Tony and Justin. Highly recommend this business.

What impresses me the most about them and their shop is how organized and clean it is as well with how much they care about the people and not just about the vehicles. We are traveling cross country in our motor home. Had loss of power issues through the mountains and our wipers wouldn’t work. Everywhere we called, we were given an estimate of 3-7 days before it would even be looked at. Called JBJ Diesel and spoke with Jake. He told us to bring it in the following morning and he’d take a look. Fixed the power loss problem within a couple of hours. Overnighted a part for the wipers. By 4pm the following day, we were back on the road. Jake and his team were exceptionally friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He kept in good contact with us during the repairs. The price was very reasonable. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Highly recommended. We are happy campers! :)

I had been traveling across the state to have my previous work done, they were great, but I needed to get established with a local reputable shop. I know Jake and Justin and their reviews are awesome so I went in to get established and have them check over a few things. I was very impressed with their customer service, honesty, and timeliness. I’ve since had other work done and still have the exact same positive thoughts towards the shop. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs regular maintenance or performance upgrades. I had my truck towed in to get it serviced due to a no start no crank issue. I told them what concerns I had and they addressed every issue with care and even found more pressing issues that could have left me stranded. Turned out I had a crack in my trans cooler and they found it while they were replacing the trans cooler lines. Brought my Cummins in for some work on a Wednesday expecting a delay to get to it. The shop got on it immediately and had the head work machining, parts, and labor lined up to go returning my truck by Friday with a bulletproof head setup! Ive been looking for a diesel mechanic.found these guys online and called them and there was no answer.i left a message and no one called me back so i decided to go there.i walked in and talked to the front desk.front desk was real professional.he took all my info and said someone will call within the day.that was 3 days ago.so thats how customers are treated??ok so this makes me feel like these guys make up their own reviews online to seem better then they are.i guess my business is not good enough.their shop was clean and all that but their customer service is piss poor.i wish i can give less than one star but unfortunately thats as low as i can go.

I recently purchased a used Chevy Cobalt and being a single woman, I needed to take it somewhere I could trust. Jake did a top to bottom inspection on my car before purchase and gave the car a thumbs up, said it would be a solid purchase and I would only need to get some new front brakes eventually. I went ahead with the purchase and the car has lived up to his expert opinion and it has been a gem! Really good bunch of guys that do quality work and know what they are doing. They have fixed my Cummins ISX power problems to the point that I now pull cabbage at 40 mph dragging 104,600 pounds up the hill. Our Cat 6NZ isnt far behind it. They are definitely the Pittsburgh Power of the west coast.

After reading all the reviews on how clean Jakes shop is, I had to go and find out for myself. Boy is it clean. Its actually cleaner than my shop.I had a bad injector on my 2006 F250 and needed my truck for a Scout camp out this weekend and they said no problem. They did everything they said and then some. All the guys are super cool and they have some really neat projects going on.The price was more than fair and I now have my go to shop for all my projects.Again, thanks Jake, please tell who ever worked on my truck A Big Thanks.
