After buying my car from Butler and always getting it serviced here it only made sense to get it repaired at Butler Collision Center after a semi had hit my small car. Melvin did a thorough estimate and kept me updated every step of the way as my car was in the shop. Would highly recommend! My car looks as good as new as you can see from the before and after.
Butler Toyota collision center made my 2107 Tacoma like new. I had a small dent near my wheel well. But as you know when it comes to dents there is no such thing as a small repair. I had gotten two estimates but I couldnt bring myself to turn over my truck even though they had good reviews. So I decided to go to a Toyota repair shop in Carmel IN. The cost was higher than the other two estimates but as you know you get what you pay for. They did an amazing job, from Michelle the team leader to the workmen ship on my truck. Im so glad I decided to use a certified shop and the work they did was fantastic. Thank you.
Excellent customer service. They were professional and made extra effort to get my car repaired quickly because I was from out of town and stranded in Indianapolis. Their waiting area is clean and comfortable. Everything about the place was inviting. Having a car rental agency on site is also a plus.I would recommend this business to anyone.
Over the winter I bumped into a concrete planter hidden by snow. Caused enough front-end damage that I wanted to get it fixed. Not enough to warrant an insurance claim, so I was paying for this out of my own pocket.The place that services my car recommended Butler Auto Collision Center, so I called them. They got me right in for an estimate. Dave was my advisor, got right to it, I was in an out in 15 minutes. He e-mailed me the estimate later that day. I then set up an appt. to get the work done.They did the work, beautifully, in the time they said they would do it and in keeping with the estimate. Dave was great about going over everything they had done. Checkout was efficient. Theres an Enterprise Rental Car location in the same building which was very convenient.Fortunately I rarely need body work done, but when I need it again, I will definitely come back here. Friendly, professional, efficient. What more could you want?
What a great experience! Had a minor repair and Loren treated me like a friend or neighbor and I had only just met him. Loren was so fair with the pricing and helped as much as he could, since it was an out of pocket expense instead of an insurance job. Work was excellent and timely. Took my car in after a fender bender this winter. My insurance company recommended them because Butler will take photos of the damage and submit them for you as well as repair with quality certified parts. I also liked that there is an enterprise connected. I dropped off my car and picked up a rental with ease. Great partnership. Thanks for excellent service and a job well done.
Minor repair was done to side body molding and David noticed my headlights were oxidizing and suggested to get them polished. They now look brand new and improved visibility. Great price and good service.

Repair was on time and looks like new again. I had no problems with their service and was kept up to date with the repair via email as my truck went through the process. I would definitely take my car back if I needed collision repair again (hopefully not though)
Horrible communication from the receptionist to upper management. They talk very sweet to you until they get your car keys. Drove to 2 hours to get Certified Toyota work done.
I noticed an error in their work after they originally did a repair for my wife’s car and was not happy about it. After I finally got ahold of Shane he was able to get it in the shop the next morning and had the job done by the end of the day. Thanks for putting up with my frustration, I appreciate the friendly service when we dropped the car off this morning.
They were terrible. Gave me 4 different finish dates which they missed. Was supposed to be a 2 day repair took 7. I had to contact them each time. They were not prompt returning calls. The paint did not match color well. I will never use them again and was shocked that they were certified. Church Brothers is way better.
I selected this place to do the hail damage repair in my car and I had a very bad experience. I dropped my car three business days before the scheduled date because I had to travel on business and the repair took 4 weeks to be accomplished, when the estimated time was 2 weeks. I was told that I would get regular updates by e-mail about the status of my car, but after waiting 10 days I decided to call. The person that was responsible to provide the update was never available. I called several times (I mean, A LOT OF TIMES), always provided my contact information to get a call back and nothing. In the few times that I was able to talk to the person, there was never a reliable status about the repair, estimated delivery date. The blame was always transferred to my insurance company, but there was no evidence that this was true. Anyway, the lack of availability to provide feedback, the lack of care about calling back is unacceptable to me. The quality of the repair was ok, but they lost the radio antenna that was in the roof. Again I contacted the person and asked if they could look for it in the shop. Its about a week now and no reply, as expected. This is a very bad example of customer support.
Wow! Similar to the Butler Toyota dealership, this place is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people. Dave Smethers took one quick look at my car, (I swiped the side of the garage and had a lot of paint on the door and a few scratches), and immediately knew how to go about getting things into presentable shape in about 15 minutes. He then explained my options with regard to buffing out the scratches and further possible steps, taking into consideration my budget and my taste. I look forward to the quote!
We had to have my daughters new RAV4 fixed when we discovered a radiator leak when she was home from Chicago. Quite a bit of work was needed to repair stuff under the hood. We were under some time constraints based on when my daughter was able to come back to Carmel. Barry Hanna and his crew was able to get the work done with high quality in the time frame necessary. I had to email or speak to him a lot through the process and he was always professional and responded promptly and kept me posted of the progress. He made things happen so the work would be finished on time. I am sure he got tired of hearing from me but the timing of the completion of the work was essential to getting the vehicle back to her.The quality of the visible work was excellent and the under the hood stuff was repaired correctly. The overall customer service aspect of this repair was excellent.
Dont make the same mistake I did. I was quoted $1500 and 3 days. A week later the price jumped up to $2000+ and I was told the car wasnt driveable unless I did the extra $500 in repairs. I conceded. They said it would take 2-3 days to complete. Literally 3 weeks after the initial drop off, I got the car back. In hindsight I should have called the BBB. I think this was incompetence more than it was a scam. When I asked them to make it right at the end of my experience. They agreed I was mistreated, they apologized. I told them I wanted to pay the original quote of $1500 considering the 2 1/2 week delay completing the work. They said, No, we should have charged you another $300 for a part we forgot to include in the bid, so technically you saved that money. I almost lost my mind and walked out the door.
I took my acura SUV for an urgent fix on the broken back door. I received a reasonable estimate for the repair Despite being late in the day, Dave accommodated my request and agreed to fix my car immediately. They did a fantastic job and also did it in lesser time than promised. I was surprised when they charged me less than the original estimate as the job was done sooner. You dont find such honest auto mechanics anymore. Dave is the man!- Highly Recommended!
Jack was very responsive. Work was done right. Outside check verification was a 1 hour disrespectful drama where I was treated like I was trying to steal by the verification company. Get a check mailed from insurance rather than a deposit to pay with your own check. I showed up in plenty of time to get out of rush hour dodge and the verifier put me out in the middle of it.
I can not say enough how wonderfulthey are at Butler Auto Collision Center! I stopped in here after I ran over a large object. There was something hanging from the bottom of my vehicle and I had my toddler with me so was nervous to continue driving. I saw Butler collision center so pulled in. They got my car in immediately to look it over. In the amount of time it took me to bring mydaughter next door to eat some lunch and come back, they not only had looked at my car, but also fixed it. Luckily for me the damage was minimal, but I was blown away when they said they were not going to charge me for the work. What wonderful people! If I ever need work done I will go back there and I will tell all my friends. Thanks Butler Collision Center!
The girl at the main desk has an amazing personality. The personnel goes downhill from there. Every other staff member we met there is rude and unprofessional.
Our 2002 BMW Z-3 had a big dent in the passenger door and Dave Smethers, Team Leader and Estimator, at Butler Auto Collision saw the big dents and said they could make it look like new without us buying a new door. During the quick initial analysis process in the parking lot he involved a couple different people from the shop to confirm things about the paint, making sure it would be matched all over and the repairs not be noticeable. He was also great at picking up on a few other things he would fix as part of the deal to ensure like new. Dave is good at this because he has been on both side of this business... in past years he was doing the repairs himself... this place is full of great longterm high quality experienced professionals.Then the good news.. the price was very competitive.. actually best price we had seen. We trusted him to take care of our baby.. I showed him a couple more things to fix while he was at it on the power seat, front lower scoop and missing knobs in the interior...and he was super fair with my addons.As they were working on it we got a call each morning from Jack in customer service outlining what they were doing and how they were progressing. We never asked for that level of service. It was reassuring.Finally in less than a week we had it back, went over it with a fine tooth comb and discovered they did more fixing than we bargained for.. it was beautiful, the repairs were invisible.. it looked new..... and no price change.. WOW! We recommend them highly.
Ive had 2 cars worked on at Butler Auto Collision Center and they have be professional, courteous and on time and in budget.Ive had a deer hit: repair was done very well....I had a difficult tri-coat paint repair due to rock chips and I had a minor got hit that required the plastic rear bumper cover to be repaired and repainted, again in a tri-coat (which is really tough to match)...all done very well.Thanks Butler!

Wont ever go back again, team leader didnt care that a 1 week job took 4 weeks and then there was no quality control, which resulted in returning for more work multiple times. Also, they refused to follow the insurance estimators repair sheet instead went off of their own, which of course lacked all of the details.
I have been taking my vehicles to Ken W at Butler for the last 4 years. I have taken everything from Porsches to Acuras to Chevys to Ken and no matter what the problem has been, he has been very honest, quick and upfront about the solution. If for some reason they cannot do the work, he is always quick to refer me to someone who can and even his referrals have been top notch. His quotes for both time and the expense of the repair have always been accurate and in the rare occasion it was off, it was due to a lower fee than what was quoted. I have taken vehicles for body work and also for repair, again, with the end result always being positive. I recommend this operation to anyone I come in contact who needs work done and even take my vehicles to him for a once over before I buy them. For the first time in my life, I have a business I can take my vehicles to that I trust will be honest, fair and fast. Dont listen to the negative comments on this site. They have to be coming from a former employee or something because this place really has their business dialed in. Keep up the GREAT work!
Do not go here if you like your car. They take forever and damage your car while fixing it. When I got my car back, I had paint chips and interior damage, plus my car was filthy. So I took my car back and showed the manager everything that was wrong. I got my car back 2 weeks later and it was still damaged, just in different spots. So now my car is back for a third time, for who knows how long.

I received a call from Butler to schedule a time to get my car in just hours after the insurance documents were faxed in. They kept me updated daily and even brought me into the shop to show hidden damage that the car had before I purchased it. I’d go back here 10/10 times.
