Chris did an absolutely amazing job restoring the finish on the hood of my Jeep Grand Cherokee after someone used a Scotch-Brite pad to vigorously scrub tree sap from it. The damage was so bad I knew the kid at the local car wash was not going to be able to buff it out and I suspected I would need to have the hood repainted. Chris examined the damage, measured the paint thickness on the hood and car and said he could fix it. After leaving the Jeep with him, Chris worked his magic and the hood (and the rest of the car) look brand new. If you have a tough challenge, Chris is up to it! Highly recommended!!
My son and I just picked-up his car from Nth Degree Auto Detailing and we are extremely satisfied with the outcome. Chris (owner) did a phenomenal job on both the outside and inside of the vehicle and the car looks better than brand new!The service he provided was a 2-step detail as well as paint-less removal of some dents and repairing a few minor paint chips. The car was immaculate after he completed the job - both inside and out. There really wasnt a spot that he missed, including the engine compartment.Besides the great job that Chris did, we liked that as he detailed the vehicle, he identified things that we had not really noticed, i.e., small dents and scratches, and gave us options to consider to repair them. He also provided a lot of additional information on how to keep the vehicle clean and answered all of our questions about his detailing process.Bottom line - Chris is a true professional and someone you can trust with your vehicle to do a great detailing job. We highly recommend his services.
Ive known Chris for years now as I used to have my own Professional Auto Detailing Business here within the Triangle Area. I reached out to Chris numerous times when I was in business for help or advice and he always answered my calls and provided help and his knowledge.I was lucky enough to work on numerous projects together in collaboration with Chris and have learned so many new things by doing so. Chris is a rare individual in todays crazy world who works around the clock to provide the best service and the best results he possibly can.Take it from another retired Detailer here in the Triangle Area...you will not be disappointed using Chris and his Luxury Car Detailing Services. I ultimately sent all of my previous clients to Chris when I closed my business back in 2018 knowing they were in good hands. I also now use Chris for my own personal vehicles.Chris is super old school in the fact that he truly wants to be the best Detailer, works hard every day, provides great customer service, and his detailing skills are amazing. Thanks for taking care of my previous clients Chris. I know they are in good hands!
Highly recommended and I trust no one else to touch any of my vehicles except for Nth Degree Auto Detailing, LLC.I currently own a black 2017 Chevrolet Silverado LT crew cab 4X4 as my daily driver with 32K mileage. Paint looked great when I bought it from the dealer a few months ago up until I ran it through a touchless car wash a couple times. Evidently, it stripped off quite a bit of wax that the dealer used and revealed disturbing swirl marks and scratches all over. I was very disappointed because of the blemishes considering the price I paid for the vehicle.I initially went with a detail shop in Apex for a so-called paint correction and ceramic coating. It was a huge mistake. They did a terrible job. It turned out looking hazy like it had holograms all over the clear coat and the actual coating covered maybe half of the paint surfaces if even that. Service was terrible and I had to fight with the owner to repair the damage they did. I was furious indeed. The owner was very rude and confrontational and I was an extremely dissatisfied customer.Contacted a few other detailers. Spoke with Chris and found that he is not only very professional but he has exceptional knowledge and experience with regards to auto detailing. Chris performed a true paint correction and ceramic coating which far exceeded my expectations. The results are absolutely stunning to the point where my co-workers and friends are left speechless. I dont even know how else to describe it but my clear coat looks like glass.I have been in contact with Chris on a regular basis for his expertise and advice. Excellent communication. He treats my vehicle as if he owned it. I brought my truck to him this afternoon for what he calls a maintenance wash. However, in my most honest opinion, I personally would classify it more as a fine exterior detail. Again, highly recommended and thank you again Chris for the excellent 5-star service!
I have a lot of great things to say about Chris. I will list a few that stood out during my interactions with him that I typically do not see from other businesses. Chris did an EXCELLENT job with the interior and exterior detailing. I care deeply about my vehicle (2006 Jeep Wrangler), and it is rare for me to say that his work exceeded my expectations. Chris was honest, transparent, friendly, and patient with me. I asked a lot of questions, and he took the time to address each one with me. I quickly sensed that he was knowledgeable and not only that but also he was eager to share his knowledge and experience with me. I could tell he enjoys what he does and takes pride in what he does. He treated my vehicle as if it was his own. It is hard to find someone so detail-oriented and actually cares about the vehicle he works on. I was not just a number to him. I will use Chris again in the future, and I recommend Chris to anyone who has not yet tried him.
After the initial meeting with Chris to discuss detailing my vehicle, it was very obvious he was the right person to meet my high expectations. I was not looking for someone to just wash and wax my vehicle. Instead, I was looking for a detailed-oriented, result driven professional providing professional auto detailing services.Chris incredibly strong drive to produce high quality results first and foremost set him apart from the herd. His industry knowledge of products and meticulous techniques drive his results to the pinnacle level. I am highly satisfied with the quality of the result and service my vehicle received from Chris. So if you have a favorite vehicle you want to have professionally detailed, then Chris is your guy. Very highly recommend. I plan on going back for future professional detailing needs for my vehicles.
Ceramic coating on the Raptor! Chris recently worked on 3 of my vehicles. All with different needs. Top notch as always. This is the second coating he has put on one of my cars. Previously I only used PPF (paint protection film). Now I prefer the ceramic in most cases. Chris is the best detailer in the area. Period. And a great person. All 5 star reviews for a reason. Thank you Chris!
After purchasing a used 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Ultimate, we had a laundry list of cosmetic and cleanliness issues with the vehicle. Ranging from headliner stains, heavy dust/smoker residue, leather seat wear-and-tear, and various other nagging issues, we knew we had our hands full and needed to utilize a professional. We reached out to Chris at Nth degree to get a quote. He was up front about things he could not do or was cautious to do (repair a cigarette burn hole in the headliner, and steam clean the headliner, respectively). Otherwise, to do a full-blown interior and exterior detail, the price was more than reasonable. Our goal was to have this new-to-us car returned to us feeling like a fresh set of wheels that had not been previously owned. Chris not only met, but far surpassed, this expectation and goal. What he turned over to us was a vehicle that looked and felt brand-spanking new. There wasnt a single speck of remaining evidence that this was a pre-owned vehicle (beyond the remaining burn hole). To say the least, now this Santa Fe truly feels like our car.For anyone who might be on the fence to pay for a professional detail, I for one can assure you that you will not regret the decision for one second by going with Chris at Nth Degree. Hes a true professional, openly communicative, and does impeccable work. Highly recommended.
In a nutshell, these guys are professional, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to provide excellent service.
Fantastic job once again. Communication, quality of work and high level of professionalism. Im convinced Nth is the best around and with reasonable pricing.
I attended a detailing course over the past weekend that was held by the owner as well as a friend of his that used to do this for a living. Between the both of them, they have over 30 years of experience in this industry.I have been a customer since 2016 and have never looked back. I have seen some reviews mentioning price, but lets be honest...today the cheapest car youre going to get is $20K and enthusiasts will spend more. If people are willing to buy something they love, then taking care of it just makes sense. For the work Chris does in my opinion, the price is VERY reasonable. Especially after taking the class and talking with him.My advice to new customers that are on the fence is to allow him to detail your car once and when you see what your car looks like when you return, well the work will speak for itself and more!I also recommend that when Chris does these classes, more people attend. Chris wants car owners to learn how to properly maintain their vehicles so that they arent spending thousands on paint correction every 6 months.Bottom line, more businesses and owners need to be like this one!
If youre reading these reviews, youre probably looking for professional detailing or paint correction work. Youll probably also notice a theme - clients who have had their expectations exceeded...Add me to that list because I cant say enough positive things about the paint correction Chris performed on my new car. New car? Yes brand new car...Many people think a new car needs nothing and should be good to go straight off the lot. Nothing could be further from the truth. In my case, the dealership had washed the vehicle plenty of times either using an improper method with dirty rags or I couldnt even guess what they used based on how bad the spider webbing and marring was. Needless to say, I couldnt start life with my new ride like that, so I contacted Chris with Nth Degree. Chris was very honest about what he thought was needed and I could see he was passionate about the work, so I scheduled an appointment.Today I picked up the vehicle and you can probably read the newspaper off of the paints reflection. All the swirls, spiderwebs, marring - gone. I was expecting to have to wax the car when I got home and clean the wheels too since I only asked for a paint correction. Chris took care of that and more. I could go on and on about how thrilled I am, but pictures speak for themselves.Do you and your vehicle a favor if you are thinking of getting this type of work done around the triangle - take it to Chris and Nth Degree. He has the knowledge, skill and passion to turn sad paint into a mirror - even on a new car.
Professional, top quality and premium detailing service.
Chris did an amazing job on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. He was able to get me in quickly, and his work was spectacular. Even though it had been put through a lot of abuse, Chris was able to get it looking like new inside and out. If you are looking for an amazing detail make sure to call Nth Degree. I havent had a better experience or outcome anywhere else.
Review of paint correction and sealantIve never been to anyone else and i still know Chris is the best. Hes professional and consultative when working with him. He provided options and advice based on what results I wanted. He will point out every detail in your paint and you should only perceive it as a expert providing a depth of understanding.Chris will not be the cheapest option but he will be the highest quality.
I brought my car to Chris because while I was in Florida a painter was spray painting equipment in my daughters neighborhood and got over spray on my 2017 Honda Civic Coupe Touring. I brought it to a detailer in Florida and not only did he not get all the over spay off he put swirl marks all over the car. Chis did a FANTASTIC job, he got all the over spray off and all the swirl marks out. I am very meticulous about my car and I could not be happier with the job Chris did. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Chris did an excellent job restoring the paint on my 2011 Acura TSX which was losing its shine and starting to show a lot of scratches and swirling. I love my car and plan to keep it for a while, so I decided to invest in some much needed TLC. He deep cleaned the inside as well and now it feels like a new car again! 😊
Chris work on our 15 year old Volvo wagon was amazing, really brought it back to life and it looks as close to new again as it possibly could, and treated it like it was a Ferrari. He gives attention to details that only an auto enthusiast would fully realize and appreciate. I do most repair and maintenance myself and there are only a couple of people in the area that I would trust to touch my cars. That said, I would not hesitate to leave any of my vehicles with Chris and I will definitely be a repeat customer.
I recently purchased a 2016 Corvette. Took it to Chris for an evaluation. He told me my options, pointed out some issues and set my expectations. Just got the car back today and OMG it looks amazing. He did an awesome job and really exceeded my expectations. It looks like a complete new car. I also took his detailing class several weeks ago and it was great. Now I know how to properly take care of my car without spending hours. Chris is extremely knowledgeable. Nth degree is the best. Thanks Chris for my gorgeous looking Vette.
Chris Chandler is by far the leading expert on automotive exterior maintenance in the Triangle (and beyond). His hyper-focused attention-to-detail approach and passion for cars has allowed him to hone his skills in all the niche skills of repairing/treating, maintaining and preventing future damage.I have had the pleasure of watching him navigate through the various processes that quite honestly, the majority of people are entirely unaware of. The time, energy and patience that it takes to bring a cars paint back to life and protect it going forward is staggering. Knowing this, Chris applies the same level of care and focus to a 20 yr old production car as he does a brand new performance car. Why? Because his passion and appreciation for this art demands nothing less than 100%. He jokingly once told me (and Im slightly paraphrasing) Until Im happy (and theyre happy), Im not handing the keys back. This is a business that truly takes pride in the restoration and maintenance of their clients vehicles exterior health.
If you understand the difference between true detailing and a glorified car wash, this is the place you want. Chris does fantastic work, and will tailor the treatment to the specific areas you want to address on your car. Every surface gets the right technique and the right product; the results speak for themselves.
Ive had nothing but great experiences using Chris to detail my cars. He is definitely a perfectionist which is great because I am very OCD. Ive used him for regular detailing and for more advanced paint correction. He always takes his time to make sure the job is done right. Far better than everyone else Ive tried in the area. I definitely recommend giving him a call.
Excellent service and very detail oriented
I own a 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, and it is Black Crystal Pearlcoat in color, which means you can see every single blemish or scratch or speck of dirt on it at all times.I first met Chris at Nth Degree Auto Detailing a couple of years ago when I hired him to polish out holograms from my paint due to a repair paint job performed by a national collision company. The overspray of clear coat and bad polish job by the collision center resulted in a ton of holograms throughout the driver side of the truck.Chris at Nth degree Auto Detailing meticulously polished and sealed my trucks paint after the paint had cured, which resulted in a perfect, blemish free finish on my truck. It was absolutely amazing!A year later my truck was practically totalled in a collision. Once repaired, and once the newly painted portions of the truck were cured, I again took it to Nth Degree Auto Detailing, and Chris again restored mytruck to its original blemish free state, and again the finish was absolutely impeccable! Chris also has helped me address some other issues stemming from my accident and repair, and has done additional fixes onmy finish at no additional charge. He also is very responsive to questions and emails I have barraged him with since on other issues related to my vehicle repair. He has also been very helpful in providing meadvice on how I can keep my trucks finish looking great on my own!If you have a vehicle you truly want to look amazing, Chris at Nth Degree Auto Detailing can get you there. He is the absolute expert on detailing and paint correction in the Raleigh/Cary NC area! Thanks for everything Chris!
Nth degree is right! Chris is a perfectionist and did fantastic work correcting the damaged paint on my vehicle. He knows cars, paint, and what it takes to do the job right. Id feel completely comfortable turning my keys over to him again and that is a rarity for me.
I took my recently purchased pre-owned Lexus to Chris of Nth Degree based on a recommendation. The work, care, effort and time he put forth shows. The exterior and interior detailing was first rate. That nagging dirt that builds up around the wheel lug nut recesses and is a pain to get 100% clean? No problem with Chris. The wheels alone now looked like they just came off the assembly line. That black plastic trim piece on a number of cars that runs under the exhaust? Completely treated and looks like it was when the car rolled off the assembly line, flawless. The interior? Not a spec of dust. I have two dogs. Had some dog hairs in places I could not easily access. Gone now. Seats and trim? A+, the seat belts were even cleaned. Bumper to bumper, inside and out I cannot be more pleased with the new car look now. This guy knows cars. He is a wealth of knowledge on car care. As others of noted he takes a personal pride in the job he does and takes the time to go over the car with you at pickup. (even when it is sunny and very hot outside). I have found someone who I completely trust with my cars and will use him go forward on a regular schedule for car care.Thank you ChrisUpdate May 2020. Took my Lexus again to Chris for detailing. Another five star job. I would not trust my ES 350 to anyone else for detailing. The attention to detail is supurb. The engine bay? Looks brand new. Thank you
Chris (Nth Degree Auto Detailing, if you’re looking for him on Google Maps) sees both of my cars - whatever they may be at the time - at least twice a year. He gets them the Spring, in the Fall, if I experience some major car-sullying event, and right after the sticker comes off of the window when a car is new. I’ve enjoyed Chris’ services for five years now, referred him to everybody I know, and will never let anybody else touch my cars. Here are my key observations of Nth Degree in a few main points:(1) Chris isn’t merely a perfectionist, he’s a fanatic. When my car is done, he dutifully shows me the rare spots that he couldn’t fix, and I can’t typically see them without very explicit guidance. Finding nearly-invisible swirl marks is one of his mystical powers. If I happen to touch the car while we’re talking, he absentmindedly reaches over and wipes my fingerprints off with a microfiber towel. I am not exaggerating.(2) Chris loves cars, and he wants them to look good. Seriously. Any car. Every car. Ferrari, Edsel, Yugo, whatever. He was just as super-picky with my 2009 Mazda CX-9 as he is with my 2017 Tesla S. The man does not discriminate. No matter what car you bring to him he’ll treat it like it’s his pride and joy, whether it’s yours or not.(3) Chris is a bottomless well of knowledge about the science and chemistry of paint, plastics, glass, and every other finish and material you’ll find in a car. He even teaches a class about this from time to time, which I find to be a more than fair trade for the nominal entry fee and half of my Saturday. I even get to use his supplies & tools risk-free on - this is important - somebody else’s car.Okay - anything else I say will be a reiteration of what you’ve just read. If you take your car to Nth Degree, you may actually find that I’ve understated some of my points.
You obviously took really great care of your car. Thats what a potential buyer of my car, posted to Craigslist, said when he came to see it in person. I laughed inside and felt a little bad. Some background: until recently, I havent taken great care of my cars. I get the maintenance, but rarely clean them. However, when it comes time to sell it, I take it to Chris for a pre-sale detail. It goes in looking like a hobo slept there and comes out looking as good as new.The most recent detail is a particularly good example of Chriss work, and is why Im posting this review. The car was our shuttle for 2 Corgis. To illustrate how bad the shedding is, we keep lint rollers at every door, in each car, and at work. I wish I had a before picture of the fabric. It was awful. I tried going at it with a shop vac and it didnt make a dent in the fur-carpet.When I got it back, there wasnt a single hair left. Even turning on the heat, none blew out of the vents. #mindblownNow that Im getting nicer cars, Ive gotten other services from Chris as well. He did paint correction on my Tesla, and has given me advice for what products to use to keep it looking good, and where to go for the best PPF application. The best thing about him is hes always honest. Hes talked me out of using his services when they wouldnt make sense for my situation.Highly recommend Chriss services!
Great job. Extremely thorough.
