YOU’LL READ TONS OF HORRIBLE REVIEWS ABOUT THEIR TRUCK RENTAL SYSTEM!!**6 hours before our reserved truck pick up time, we got a call from Debbie stating our truck from the previous renter was extended and is not here for us to pick up.Ok. Fine. So help us out?No.She tells us we need to wait til tomorrow to see if there is even trucks being returned for us to take, or call uhaul and figure out another solution.When asked if she is willing to help us out since we are MOVING, have MOVERS in place and need the truck at the reserved time, she proceeds to yell at me about how it is people like me that don’t understand the situation and give her a hard time and hangs up the phone.Debbie, claims she doesn’t work FOR uhaul but WITH uhaul, but sure does blame everything ON uhaul, as if she works for them, huh? Odd.If it is indeed a separate business and you work alongside uhaul and not for them, shouldnt that be more of an incentive to help a customer out that you left hanging?Initially the reservation was made through YOUR business, making this YOUR business. But when an inconvenience pops up, it’s easier for Debbie to blame Uhaul and have the customers pick up her garbage.It seems Debbie absolutely exploits this system. Because customers are desperate, like me, they will figure a solution out on their own even if Debbie isnt willing to help out. Even if the trucks she guaranteed a reservation for doesnt come in on time, she just has to say she has no control or responsibility over the matter and let the customer go through hoops and loops with uhaul headquarters. And once the customer finds another reservation going through hoops and loops on their own, on their moving day, the reservation gets moved and disappears out of Debbie’s life.Easy solution without having to put in any extra effort on Debbie’s end.Seriously. Dont rent here. Go down a little further south on Gilbert st. There are young men way nicer, more informed who will help you out a galaxy further than what Debbie will do.**reservation was under different name than the name of reviewer, just in case they spew the “we don’t see your name under our reservation” response. Our horrible experience was indeed at 11 Kellog ct. Castle Rock. **

I was in the process of moving and needed to store some things in Castle Rock until I figured out how to get the rest of my stuff shipped across the country. Everyone at the facility was super helpful when I contacted them searching for a storage unit.Debbie was very helpful with everything and made the process much easier than anticipated. I highly recommend using this facility for storage.

I rented a unit (113) containing household goods & furniture at CR Self Storage for 3 yrs. During this period the unit was maintained securely, and there were no water, insect or rodent concerns The rent was at a reasonable rate during the rental period. Thanks very much, LT!

At first I thought this was a good location until I found out that the managers run a side business out of the u haul they offer to help you move but you have to pay for the u haul and you have no control over it the managers son finds young teens and they offer them cash after the job they then have them go to the Uhaul and do tasks that the employees of u haul and the moving storage place should be doing so they can go do more jobs and get paid double for u haul and there illegal side business on top of that the manager lady and her son have unties full of person items they have taken for them selfs in other units this is a super untrustworthy place don’t come here

Parking to unload indoor storage is a little difficult and compact. Nice price and building though

This storage facility is great! The staff are very friendly and understanding. I had a unit there for three years and never had an issue.

We had a terrific experience with this place. Air conditioned office with bathroom facilities was available at all times. The manager was always available with helpful advice.

The prices here are not bad for what you get. The managers are wonderful people if i recall there names were Dennis and Tina. When Dennis showed me my unit i was very pleased with it. It was clean for an outside unit. When i moved out it was as easy as moving in no problems, you just let whoever is in the office know and thats about it. Compared to the other companies around i would say Castle Rock Self Storage is probably one of the best places to store your stuff for however long you need to.

Absolute TERRIBLE and FRAUDULENT company, DO NOT give this place your business.I rent a small storage space here and have been doing so since last August. I recently received a notice in the mail, this place was going to charge me 100% late fee, the entire cost of my storage unit, tacked on top of my regular payment. I called and spoke to BRANDON, who gave me the WORST, most disrespectful, dishonest customer service I have ever received. This place had my card of file to charge but they made an error and did not charge it. They wanted me to come in a fill out a form for no reason and refused to take responsibility for the error or take off the insane charge of the late fee. This place will find any way to take money from you and take off fraudulent late fees and refuse to work with you or speak to you in any kind of respectful way. They should be put of out of business.

TERRIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL, DISHONEST company. BRANDON is incredibly rude and tacked on fraudulent late fees onto our storage unit when HE made an error to charge the right card and then refused to take any responsibility. Why do employees think they can treat people and paying customers like this and think its ok and its not going to have any consequences? Ill just keep spreading the word on what terrible business this place is and how dishonest these people are. Bad reviews will keep coming in. Its just so astounding they cant treat people with any kind of honesty or respect.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the excellent service we received at Castle Rock Self-Storage. The entire campus is clean, well maintained, and felt secure. Tina and Dennis, the managers, create a small-town, friendly atmosphere. They are also very knowledgeable about area resources and go out of their way to be helpful.

Great couple running this post. Very up beat and answered all of my questions. I only wish that access to my unit was 24/7.

They helped us get rid of some of our furniture. They were patient with the return of their truck. They were perfect.

Over the years, Ive used U-Haul quite a bit. This is, by far, the best U-Haul facility Ive ever been in. Terrance and Crystal are doing a fantastic job. I will highly recommend this business to everyone I know.

Rented a unit from Castle Rock Self Storage for 7 years. Staff is so friendly and helpful, it was very easy to submit payments monthly, and the grounds and units were very well maintained. We had a storage unit for two years here and the experience was not bad or excellent. A majority of the units do allow dust into the unit. We had no issues with pests or water leakage. One thing that was inconvienenent is their gates close at 9. Overall a satisfactory experience.

I used this storage facility off and on for 10 years. I will never use them again.1. The units are not temperature controlled2. If you are extra nice to the managers and staff and bend over backwards, they will treat you like a halfway civilized human being. Anything less than that and they automatically treat you like crap. For example on my first visit, I was a new tenant looking for my unit. Lynn, one of the managers, confronted me on the lot with the words, Who or what are you looking for?! Not, Hi, can I help you? or Hi, I know youre a paying customer who just signed up and you used your keycode to get in. Can I help you find your unit? It was, Who or what are you looking for? Rude. Over time, I realized this was normal for them.3. I vacated my last rental unit on the first of the month. They exercised no leniency whatsoever on rental charges. I was charged for the entire month, even though I informed them I was leaving and the charge had not even settled through my account. That, to me, is extremely poor customer service. It is borderline stealing. They could have easily cancelled the charge. Obviously one months rent is more important to them than my return business! I expect better as a loyal customer.4. There is a new storage unit facility opening up down the street. If I ever need storage space again, I will go there instead.

We have been storing here for 10 years. We were not notified that ownership had changed and that prices had gone up. Our unit was originally $120 and now its $150. The staff is super nice and everything but notice about all the changes wouldve been nice, especially since late notices go out the first day of the new week. If they can send late notices that fast then a change of ownership and prices shouldve gone out with it. The unit is also in my husbands name in case the owners need to verify that im putting a review on the correct storage unit. Terrance Gonzales is his name.

Very poor experience. Units are not air tight and there is a tremendous amount of dust that gets inside.Ownership is unethical in charging of late fees. Change rent slightly so they can charge late fees when old amount is paid. Do not do business with these characters.

Place is clean, staff is not the friendliest. Beware. If you move out on the 2nd they do not prorate and you will still have to pay the entire month at $180. Public storage is cheaper and prorates.
