Mikal at this storage center is fantastic!! We were desperate for storage space during our move and she was able to get us a unit quickly and efficiently. When we moved out of our storage unit into PODS, she was so helpful! She let us use a couple of moving carts and checked in on us from time to time throughout our moving day. Ive been a renter for a few years, I currently have two rental units. The staff is accomodating and the place is newer so its very clean. Seems secure and safe. The price is about right given the options in Castle Rock. Its the most convenient location for my residence (Meadows).The problem I have is their exclusive lock system. You have to purchase their lock and you cant use it anywhere else. The locks are junk and very fickle. Often (like 50% of the time) I have jiggle/mess with/curse/beg the lock to work. Several times more than 10 minutes. This is a drag since as Im in my unit often. The locks arent cheap and as far as I can tell when you no longer rent there you throw them away. I think a better policy would be to loan the locks to the renters with a deposit. When done the renter hands back the lock and gets the deposit back. After todays frustration I have decided to drive a little farther and put my name on a waiting list down the street. Frustrated... :(

I must say my experience was above and beyond whats expected with storage facilities. Kara was exceptional and knowledgeable about anything and everything concerning the establishment. I needed more space and she made it happen even while I was working unloading. I would refer Meadows Self Storage, and the place is immaculate with easy access. My company mistakenly sent a shipment to this facility and I haven’t rented there in over a year. Rather than calling my phone number which was on the label on every box, Mikal placed my product outside of the storage unit so that it could be stolen. Very unprofessional. She was not willing for me to come down the next day and retrieve them she wanted me there today and I am out of town. I will definitely be speaking to Dan in the corporate office!Too bad the old management is not in this facility they were awesome!

Over the last three years we have rented storage space from the folks a Meadows Self Storage. They have been tremendous to work with and their facilities are top-notch (and incredibly secure and well maintained. We recently finished a new home build and no longer need to rent storage space, but if that changes in the future we will return to Meadows Self Storage. They are number one in our book!

Manager, Kara, was very very helpful in explaining every detail and what was expected of us while renting the self storage unit. She went out of her way to walk with us to the unit, show us the use of the storage lock and explain how to get into the facility via the gate. She answered all of our questions in detail . She is very knowledgeable about her work and before we left absolutely made sure we knew how to proceed. What a pleasure to work with a manager who puts the customer first and is so very very kind.

Kara helped me secure a storage unit, she showed me how to unlock and lock my unit, and she was always reliable on the phone. She made everything easy to understand and she directed my movers right next to my storage unit. Moving/storage is always stressful, but Kara and meadows storage removed so much of this stress for me by making things so easy. This facility is fairly new in the area and the units are in great shape. They offer ample RV and boat storage spaces with plenty of room to maneuver around. Regular storage lockers are available as a drive up unit or within the building. The isle between buildings is wide and flat so everyone has plenty of room and stacked items arent at risk of falling over. Kara, one of the receptionist there, was an absolute pleasure to work with. I contacted them through email at first and she responded very quickly, answered all my questions, and when I arrived she made the leasing process quick and very pleasant. She is very professional and went above the status quo to ensure my needs were met. There are so many choices in Castle Rock when it comes to storage but I highly recommend starting your search here.

Great new facility

We moved to Castle Rock over 5 years ago and we recently decided we need to rent a small storage shed. Ive been to all of them in town and have been renting from one for a couple of months now. I decided to check out the newest one in the area and I decided to change my storage facility right then and there. I was instantly the main priority, was given a tour and sat down and went over sizes and pricing. Very professional and down to earth. I spoke with Kara and she was terrific Im so glad I made the switch!

Just got a notification that rent is going up. Less than a year in operation and they raise the fees.Did everyone else get a notification?What can possibly have taken place to raise rates so soon?Edit: I have to first say most people understand that rates increase, but I just cant justify your response to my post as I have made my payments without missing a beat and the fact my rate was offered to me as a special. To say that it was under the standard and then to offer your explanation as you did is certainly not customer service at its best.I will say, I have upped my review since the manager of the property called me and we had a discussion regarding both points of view and felt it was a professional conversation on both sides. We came to understand each other and have closed any further discussion until a later date.She was very nice, respectful, and professional, thus the increase in stars.I will leave it at this for now.

The place is very clean, but can be rather a tight fit when trying to get into some of the units. I believe that the staff along with the facility it’s self is very new and they are still learning how a self storage should be run. We have our tools,and materials stored there that we use for our business. We,often are called out at all times of the day and night. When we rented the unit the gentleman who took care of us was a very nice and polite young man. But when it came time for him to program the security gate he told use that he wouldn’t be able to program the gate for a 24 hour access that someone else in a more senior position would have to do it once he came in on Monday. This was Friday afternoon. But we could work around that for the three days. But as of three weeks later we still do not have access after hours. It has interfered with do our job and taking care of our responsibilities to our customers. NOT A GOOD THING. They can do that to their own customers, not mine.

We have a huge storage unit for storing our home staging items and real estate signage.We chose Meadows Self Storage because it is easily accessible, near The Meadows neighborhood, has video surveillance, has secure access, has paved roads, and is staffed during the day.So far the staff has been very pleasant and accommodating. Beyond frustrated! When I went in and signed up in October I did auto pay. We had a discussion on what day of the month it would come out and I signed the paperwork etc. Well it didnt come out automatically and I was charged a $10 late fee. So once again I signed up for it and paid the fee. Well looking at my online banking and now there is a $4+ random charge from them that I have no clue what that is for and I received my invoice today and they are charging me $9+ for insurance! I sent them proof of my own insurance when I signed up in October that covers my storage unit!! So now I will have to call AGAIN to figure out how to fix this mess. I am about done with this place.Update 10/19: I know places have to do rate increases but they just DOUBLED the amount to pay!! BEWARE!!!
