I smoke a cigarette that is not carried in common places. Goodfellas carries the cigarettes and the owner told me he will make sure to have them in stock for me. He not only always has them in stock and on the shelves but the store has a punch card reward system for frequent purchases of cigarettes. And I like that. He also extends 1/2 carton price to those who buy 5 packs of cigarettes. The store keeper is always friendly and eager to help plus they have some of the coolest smoke items Ive seen in a tobacco shop.

If you try to ship a USPS flat rate envelope from this location be warned you will be charged double. When I tried to ship a flat rate envelope that normally runs around $8.50 to ship I was told it would cost over $16. When I questioned why it was so much I was told they weren’t supposed to accept flat rate envelopes. I had never heard of that before, so I took my package and went to the post office the next day. I asked the postal worker if they had ever that postal annex locations can’t accept flat rate envelopes, his response was “I’ve never heard that and it sounds like they are just after extra money.” So I shipped my flat rate envelope from the post office for $8.55. It’s disappointing that the postal annex would have let me pay double the amount of postage if I didn’t question what they were doing. Even if it is true that they can’t accept flat rate envelopes, then at least be upfront with your customers before they start the transaction that it will not be flat rate prices. I’ll take the extra wait at the post office over deceptive business practices.

Do not send USPS here!This location scans your item but their scan does not actually update the USPS system. They assured me that the items brought there for USPS would be scanned when it was picked up and dropped at the depot. Now it has been a week and still USPS tracking shows the item has not yet been received. Part of this is USPS problem, but you need to know that the PostalAnnexs USPS scans are not actual scans.The reason I mark down this business instead of USPS is that they were not interested in all at looking into this issue. They just blamed the USPS. That might be true but their employees could have looked a little closer into the issue.If you want USPS tracking, do not bring it to the PostalAnnex, take it to the USPS across the street directly, even if their line is a bit longer.

Great service! I came in with 16 packages at 4PM that I needed shipped by 5PM. They started packing right away and made the deadline for me. I highly recommend using the PostalAnnex for your shipping needs. Thank you Paula!!

Came here yesterday to ship something to my family. A flat 8 1/2 by 11 canvas. I asked the lady what the cheapest way to send my item would be and she recommended a regular bubble envelope that I had brought with (I did make it clear that I was ok with using another envelope/box). I just wanted the cheapest option. She charged me $13 for it. I then came home and spoke to someone else who told me that a priority envelope would have been cheaper. I verified the cost on the USPS website and it would have been about $8. The people that work here are nice but might need some more training. I have shipped from here before and now I’m wondering if I have been paying twice as much for everything.

BEST customer service in town! I’ve been going to the Postal Annex since they opened, in fact Paula signed us up as the very first mailbox way back when! Brian, Paula and Shannon are like family to us. They go above and beyond to let us know when packages come, when special mail arrives. We have 2 little girls that Love our daily visits so they can pick out their treat in the treat box. Can’t tell you how many times we’ve had a “bathroom emergency” and Brian and Paula graciously let us use their personal facilities. During the holidays Paula bakes and puts out her famous “Cheese Ball!” Can’t think of many businesses that treat their customers so much like family. We’ve been coming to the Postal Annex every day for the past 9+ years. Love these people and what they do for the community!I recently saw a negative review saying Brian got in a gentleman’s face and yelled in front of his child....I can honestly say I have Never, in 9 years, heard either Brian or Paula so much as raise a voice to anyone. Brian is a very quiet reserved person and I find it highly unlikely that he would ever exhibit such behavior. In my experience. they are very professional and have always put the customer first.Highly recommend this business and the people that run it are considered family in my book!! 🤗🤗

Agree with the prior reviewers - best customer service in town. I’d run all over trying to find a notary all morning to no avail. Alas, I consulted Google and found this location offers the service. I love this place!! And thats because the people are AWESOME!! I went to a box store a while back for copies, and the employees treated me like I was a inconvenience. A few days later, I went to Postal Annex (in a hurry, I might add), and not only were my copies cheaper than said box store, everyone was so friendly I felt right at home. Highly recommended!!!

Best shipping for the price. Much better more personal service compared to UPS store or Fedex. I’ve shipped everything from 200lb to an envelope from postal annex. Wrapping fees are always cost effective, and done right. I’ve used there notary recently and shipping a notarized letter. They threw in tracking for free. Great place! Wish I knew it was there a long time ago. I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now and highly recommend it. It Can get very busy on weekends. But can’t beat the service.

Literally the worst customer service in my life. Actually have one of their employees Brian walk up and getting my face when I had my 3 year old child with me. Send a package for $75 and it was returned. they never told me it was returned and its been at their office for 5 days. Just took a guess at that might be where is so I stop by. I guess what thats where my package was. Employee actually got into my face because he didnt know why that was so come here if you would like to lose money have them not tell you that your package is there and threaten in front of your three year toddler.

This place is great. The staff is fabulous, they spoil my kids with fudge and suckers and always have smiles on their faces. A+ customer service.

Sadly I have used this location to ship multiple items. Today was by far the worst and will cause me to never use you again. Needed to ship a sign 48x24x1 had it packed up then told it was $285 to ship. I have shipped this item multiple times before for $36.00 with fedex. What I didn’t appreciate was the clerk rolling her eyes and being rude and disrespectful when I said I was not shipping it for that price and it was over packaged in a 58x28x6” box.Poor service for sure which is sad for a small business.

This tiny private post office is one of the dearest spots to me in Castle Rock.When my original PostalAnnex+ in Colorado Springs went under, I was relieved of the shorter commute, yet concerned the remaining subscription wouldnt be carried over without hassle. I was wrong. The owner, Paula, a kindhearted Malaysian woman, took care of me as if I was her own son. The process was seamless and, although I quite liked my old PostalAnnex+ place too, this one unexpectedly beat my high standards.Not because I probably order too many packages or love their dog mascot, Copper---although all of the above is as well true. What makes this PostalAnnex+ special are her people and their hearts, which spill into customer interactions, quality of service, and the business as a whole. Its no wonder theyve been going strong here for over seven years! When the bell rings after you walk through that door, you stumble upon a humble assembly of team members who genuinely care about what they do and who they serve. I often contrive unnecessary excuses to visit, as I have hardly found anywhere which will welcome me more warmly than this place.

Wanted to charge me for one strip of tape to seal the box. I purposely left the box open in the event the clerk had to verify the boxs contents. It had a prepaid label by the manufacturing company so perhaps it was a means to make a quick buck($1.00). I ship alot of things via FEDEx and they never charge me for taping even with prepaid labels. When I told her I did not have $1.00 for the tape, I asked her where the nearest UPS was located. She shrugged her shoulders and said she did not know. Actually I found one in the next shopping center less than 2 mins away. They gladly taped my box, which by the way, was the size of a toaster. (One strip of tape)This was not my first experience with this place and I will never go there again. The experience at the UPS facility across from Keller Williams in C.R. was very friendly.
