The 6 of us, Just drove thru on hour 5 of our 7 1/2 hour road trip home. We had the Best Customer service from a very polite, friendly, and efficient young lady.. Her experienced showed and she knew what she was doing.. Not to mention, some of the VERY Best Coffee we have ever had. I would absolutely recommend this coffee stop and we will stop again.

Warm and friendly local coffee shop, beans roasted here in the area. Nice atmosphere for studying or meeting up with a friend. Seasonal lattes are always spot-on.

The baristas are always friendly & the coffee is always good. Sometimes they have drink specials that are unique and a palate adventure. I highly recommend the Van Fleet with a orange-cranberry scone!Theres also a ($2) cappuccino Happy Hour from 3-4p

My family got 3 different drinks, and we didnt like any of them (we like most coffee drinks). They were too sweet/had to much syrup, and they just didnt taste good. The shop is small, but flows well. There was one young gentleman working, and he was professional and welcoming, but the next customer had to wait until our 3 drinks were made before he could take his order.

This is a pretty cool place to stop for a good coffee. Single origin coffees that are interesting roasts and yes, you can get a pour over. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about roast and brewing methods and can pull a solid espresso.

First time having this coffee. Hubby picked up a coffee for myself and him, and brought them home. Mine was suppose to be a mocha, his a hazelnut. Mine tasted weakly like butterscotch. Yuck, i hate butterscotch. I didnt get my mocha. Plus, they were both almost flavorless! Never again will we come to this place... :(

The chairs were so dirty. Lady I ordered coffee from did not say I had to eat only outside. The food was old, greasy. And absolutely terrible. Never go there again.

I love this place. I always make it a point to stop here when I am in town. Their coffee is delicious. Skip Starbucks and go to sidecar, you wont be disappointed. They also have yummy pastries and breakfast sandwiches!

Awesome place!

The coffee is excellent. I prefer the light roast, but their lattes are very good too. I especially like the Christopher Robin, which has lavender and honey.The quiche is also very good (both the bacon cheddar and spinach tomato muenster). I tried a breakfast croissant today, and Im not a huge fan of the croissants they use.The building echoes quite a bit and the seating can be limited, so I wouldnt recommend going there to study if noise bothers you, but that being said, plenty of people seem to do it. I really like the music they play as well.

Simply awesome coffee served by real college kids. No artificial anything including sentiment! They take making their locally roasted coffee seriously and it shows. Easily the best coffee in town and quite likely in this corner of the state. Try to find the Sidecar truck for equally awesome coffee and service!

Oh man, the coffee here is to die for! Came this last Saturday afternoon and got a normal dark roast. Perfect. Not bitter. Hasnt been sitting on a burner all day. Perfect. Two others in our party got lattes and those were also great, with great latte art as well! (no pics, sorry!) Not too much space, which is the only downside. On the afternoon we came, most seats were taken up with college students doing homework, which also means it was pretty quiet.

Super impressed with this great little shop. I had a Honey Latte, and the only bad thing about it is that is so far away from me where I live. I just wanted more! The flavor was rich, natural, and super comforting. My husband had an Americano, and it was also very good. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely be stopping again.

I stopped by here while on a trip to Iowa for a coffee to go, but the atmosphere really won me over! I had hands down one of the best lattes of my life here. Wish there were more locations!

I stopped in to study. Coffee was good. Inside it was actually really hot for a winter day. Unique ambience, overall it is a good coffee shop.

Had my first date here 5 years ago and had the coffee at my wedding. Though sidecar CF is good, Im now a ridgeway location convert ;)Thanks for doing a super job you guys keep it up

Definitely one of my favorite local coffee shops. They always serve the coffee strong, and the flavor is so unique, almost with a tang to it. The food can be a bit pricey depending on what you get, but the quiche and a lot of the pastries are fabulous. Its often crowded and loud at this location, so its not always comfortable to stay there for long. They often do community events and lit readings, and they support local artists by hanging their for-sale art on the walls. The baristas, with the exception of one in particular, have always been friendly, prompt, and professional. A really great coffee shop and much better than Starbucks or Caribou, even though it might cost a little more.

My London Fog was not overpowered by lavender. Lovely.

The blueberry green tea is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Coffee is quality and has many of your standard drinks, plus some unique concoctions.They have many pastries, all locally made. Quiche, danishes, croissants, muffins, etcWiFi is great. Seating and plugins can be hard to come by during the college school year as it is a popular place to study and gather for conversation.Parking can be found out back as well as out front, though the streetside parking is often hard to come buy and isnt free as opposed to the lot in the rear.

Great coffee selection and reasonable prices. The only complain that I will make is that it caters to the young hipster crowd and it shows. Not a reason to take a star that is there customer base. I cam here from time to time during my undergraduate.

We stopped in the other day and my husband ordered a shot of espresso. The barista recommended doing sparkling water to clean his palate. The espresso was perfect and I had a lavender latte. Both were amazing. She spent the time to make sure I had a feather on my latte and it was so delicious. Favorite place for coffee. You might be a college student but you are an artist with coffee whoever our barista was...and you were very sweet!

If you’re looking for well made specialty coffee, look no further. The morning I went in, the baristas clearly knew what they were doing and made me a fantastic espresso and Ethiopia pour over.

Best coffee/espresso in town, possibly in the state of Iowa, and even yet, in the midwest. They roast their own beans right in town. Artwork on the wall is SPOT ON (ahem), always friendly baristas. Kevin is the best/nicest/best looking. The owner, Andy, is also a top notch guy.

Sidecar has the best selection of locally roasted coffee across several styles, an incredible bakery selection, and of course all the teas, lattes, cappuccinos, and more. There are over 200 public parking spots within a 1 block radius, so you are never more than a 3 minute walk into Cedar Falls best coffee in town.

The speciality drinks here, such as the Mexican mocha are real solid, but lots of the basics arent worth the money. Things like the cappuccino or Americano are sub-par and overpriced. The chai is good, as well as most of the cold drinks. Ive only had one of the pastries and it was very mediocre. The bagged coffee they sale have a good price, but it is good. Lastly, the aesthetic and location both do a lot of favors in the overall experience, its a nice place to stop in or even stay for a date.
