Yum! Our food was fresh and was definitely made to order. There are many options for customization, and the front staff are wonderful at assisting you in ordering. My grilled cheese had delicious bread and the cheese combo is delightful. Others in my party were equally pleased with their wrap and bowl. This is a must for those looking to eat lunch on the healthier side in Cedar Falls!

I absolutely love this place!! The warm cozy environment and friendly staff make me a regular customer. The coffee is amazing and the food is unlike anything you can get anywhere around. Its a great place to meet friends or for business. And they have board games available if youre there for leisure. Definitely recommend you check out this hidden treasure!

Masks Not Required! Today is a beautiful mother’s day in Cedar Falls. We took our family of seven out to breakfast here. The food has been amazing both times we have came here. A brief encounter with the owner showed genuine compassion for his customers. The chef’s preparation of our meal was nothing less than superb! You can actually see and taste the care taken to ensure that every bite will be savored. However, the wait staff or gals at the counter are like the earlier reviews stated, overly WOKE. The mask double standards are despicable. The owner who I believe to be a genuine and caring person, talks to customers out side with a mask around his neck not socially distancing. The chef who you can see preparing food while waiting in line also is not adhering to the strictest of face covering standards, wearing his mask over his mouth and not his nose. Yet the Woke girls want to remind customers they need masks and to point to signs and tell the customers about the number of signs they have up. Unlike other reviewers, I will be returning and hope they will in time, do so as well. I will not let a few bad apples spoil this experience. Nevertheless, I am writing this review because I want to see this business be successful. I hope the next time I patron this establishment I will not exposed to this ignorance. Please remove your mask signs and let your customers ware them if they choose to.-A question to the WOKE girls... why don’t you make your customers put their masks back on every time you wait on your tables? Is there a scientific document that states COVID cannot be transmitted by people sitting? Please take your signs down and stop the ignorance... and I will be happy to generously tip you again.

I had the southwest wrap it was very good. With covid I had my mask on but it had dropped below my nose a the young lady that was working today snapped at me which was totally unnecessary, I wont go back. Its not what you say its how you say it. If u have good customer service you tell a few people. If u have bad customer service you tell everyone

We love Cottonwood Canyon and go there as often as we can. We love the owner and staff. They’re always warm and friendly and the food is always outstanding. They make their own pastries as well and are the best in all of Cedar Falls. We don’t eat out very often but we enjoy the food and atmosphere so much that we will be going there tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. Atmosphere is very relaxing- love their patio.

My friend and I were visiting Cedar Falls from out of town and had lunch here. They seemed to have the best selection of vegetarian options in downtown Cedar Falls. The food was delicious! She had a veggie wrap and I had the curry chicken rice bowl. Both tasted great. They even made me an iced jasmine tea. They had a great selection of pastries and baked goods, but the portions were so generous I didnt have room left to try any. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy, its actually located inside an old home. The father + son who owned and ran the restaurant were super friendly and took great care of us!

The most amazing breakfast burrito I have ever had in my entire life. I’m fully addicted to the food this place makes. I crave it for breakfast every single morning and go there at least once a week. If you love a comfy breakfast place with great food this is the place to go!

Staff very friendly, but prices here outrageous like $12 for a bowl of chicken noodle soup and cup of coffee for lunch. At this price not even a free refill on coffee either. $5.00 would be more reasonable...I wont be back.

In town for a wedding and We were surprisingly delighted to Enter what looks to be a place of someones residence, turned into a cozy unique coffee cafe featuring alot jerk flavor options and array of coffee flavors. The chunky monkey was delicious with peanut butter & banana.

This may be my favorite restaurant in Cedar Falls. I have not had a bad thing here. I love the grilled cheeses, they are definitely a favorite, but the curry bowl is also so good and in the summer, you cant go wrong with jerk chicken on a salad. Everything is homemade and fresh. Do yourself a favor, and have the house dressing on the salad - it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. And the coffee is out of this world! The atmosphere is homey (its in a house, after all) and casual. The staff is always friendly, smart, and funny. Sometimes it takes a little time to get your food when its busy, but its always worth the wait. My dad hates to go out to eat. But if we say we are going to Cottonwood Canyon, he cant there fast enough. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Wow! Came here for breakfast and left so excited about the coffee. They roast their own beans (the only place in the area that does) and make fantastic pour-over coffee. Food was fantastic as well. Got the breakfast scramble which was served over fresh greens with a really nice dressing. My husband got the Caribbean pork bowl. So good! the pork had a nice kick and the potatoes were done well. Will be back for more coffee and to try their jerk chicken bowls!

I loved my whole experience! The setting has a very small town feel and is cozy. The food and coffee selection is large and all sounded so good! I had the jerk chicken wrap which was excellent! I had the milky way coffee (mocha with caramel) and that was very good and smooth as well! The staff was very nice and the chef brought out the food directly to us. He even checked on us a few times to see how we liked the food. Excellent and friendly service. I will go back!

What a great atmosphere. We were in town visiting from Michigan and gave it a shot. The food was amazing and the coffee and tea was awesome. The owner makes you feel right at home. The food is truly authentic with great flavor and spice. This is a must for places to hit when youre in town. 5 stars all the way!!! The Jerk Chicken rice bowl is fantastic!!

I have never had one complaint I can think of for this place. The food is to die for. The service I recieve from the employees is beyond excellent. And the atmosphere is perfect for working on a project or visiting with friends or simply just enjoying a cup of coffee and people watching.

My favorite lunch/dinner place in Cedar Falls! The jerk chicken is wonderful whether you have it in a salad or sandwich. Ive enjoyed everything Ive ordered here. Portions are filling and the coffee is very good. The lavender mocha was lovely. Very close to the library and other downtown shopping opportunities. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the deliciousness waiting for you.

Food was only bright spot of my first experience. Service was terrible as cashier spoke too quietly and gave impression that we were a bother to him. He never explained food options or advised us that drinks werent included until after we had paid. Dining area was like a maze and was way too warm.

Food is great! Coffee is delicious! Great for small groups to enjoy coffee and Jamaican food. Tables seat two people but you can always push some together. You order and pay at the counter and they bring your drinks and food to you pretty quickly depending on how packed it is. Very nice environment for studying between rushes or later at night. Free WiFi. Open 7am to 9pm Monday through Saturday. 10am to 3pm Sundays.

What a cool place, with friendly and helpful staff, an excellent menu for a vegetarian like me, awesome coffee drink menu and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I just ate here for the third time, having a Mediterranean Wrap (with hummus) and squash soup - it was tasty and spicy! This place fits any type. I highly recommend visiting any time of the day.

I stopped In because it was recommended by my boss, I was looking for Ethiopian bean and they did not have it on the shelf, so I grabbed a pound of Columbian beans and after a minute they brought me up two pounds of the Ethiopian, and informed it was all roasted on Sunday. They were really friendly and gave me a sample of fresh coffee why I waited. Definately my new coffee supplier.

Cottonwood​ Canyon is one of my favorite places for coffee AND food! I love their curry wraps. Anything Ive ever gotten at either Cottonwood locations has always been really good!

I love the house and the atmosphere, the coffee and the food as well as the music. However, this morning my eyes were stinging from the food cooking smell, so I had to leave. You might need to work on the ventilation. I could smell the food smell on my clothing after I left.
