I went today and was helped by a new employee. She was great, I didnt catch her name. There was an issue with their system not clearing out our email address off the screen after the transaction. Not very safe to have it there for the next person to see. Could lead to bad things. She got the manager out who rebooted the whole system to get it cleared. Very awesome customer service from both of them! Im glad they have a manager who keeps it respectful!
I went for a major haircut cause my hair got bleached out over processed by a new buetician cause my gal of 30 yrs went off the grid cause of Covid. I though there was no hope so cut cut it off I said. Maria gave me suggestions of how she could fix my issues so I let her. I absolutely Love my hair again. She is awesome!!! Recommend Maria at the Ceder Hill Ulta I almost cried at how fantastic my hair turned out
Genuinely the worst salon team I have ever encountered. Left in tears. The manager was great though! Otherwise, very unprofessional and rude. They made a scheduling error three times within 3 days and caught an attitude about it even though it was THEIR FAULT. Don’t give these people your hair until they get a new salon team. I was there from 4pm-9pm for highlights and she didn’t even get to cut my hair. My hair was also literally orange even though someone else at the same ulta was able to tone my hair previously with no orange. She was supposed to be “redken certified”. She didn’t even show me options before mixing the toner. I KNEW THE TONER WAS WRONG. None of them are competent except one who is just unprofessional in place of her competency. Terrible, terrible salon.
This location is not keeping track of the 50 perfect capacity in store during this pandemic. Specially with holiday shopping they expect it to increase. They have an officer standing at door to prevent shoplifting but nothing on the regulations of covid19. The line was ridiculously long and no one was 6 feet apart. The store was packed jammed. I will share a picture of line from where I was standing but there was about 6 others behind me. No space what so ever. No giving directions and cashiers where moving super slow. Its better to shop online then go to the actual store. Not in compliance at all! So disappointing.
Had a great experience here, after encountering a bad trip with a different Ulta (lied to about a product being there) I was a bit hesitant when I called and they said yes, it was there and that they would place it on hold for me, I got there and not only was it ready for me but everything else I needed in stock and I was asked politely more than once if I needed any assistance while there. Checkout process good too.
I bought wonderful things! Im so happy with my experience, the MUA who work there are amazing and color matched me perfectly! Anything that doesnt match can be tried and returned. 100% will return and highly recommend
Please shop at Sephora. Ulta always have a gimmick. Coupons cant be used on this or that. So frustrating. Get your make-up else where.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, even during the closing rush. They still took the time to thoroughly help each customer. They were also exceptionally knowledgeable in answering my questions! Awesome, hard-working ladies. Thank you!
Cashier told me if I dont get a member id they cannot issue returns even I had the receipt with me. This is not how their return policy works from how it is stated online. Customers are not fools! I shopped there on July 11th 2021.

Horrible Ulta Experience. This location is inside an outside mall type location. This made it almost impossible to find a parking space. So on a Sunday afternoon at about 2 o’clock I waited for over 30 minutes to get around the parking lot because there is only two lanes... it was set up poorly.Next problem was with the people in the store they were utterly rude. obviously there were not enough people there because I again waited in line 30 minutes because there was one person checking out I was asked one time as I was looking through the store if I needed help finding anything and they could not help me find the item I was looking for even though it said they had it online. no one said they were sorry for the inconvenience no one said thank you when I purchased another item from them. it was very very low quality customer service and i as a manager would want someone to tell me if anyone in my facility acted that way towards them therefore that is the reason why I chose to write this review.I have been to this location before and know that at other times it is much nicer environment and more people are kind to you. Today was just a mind blowing experience which is why I felt the need to let someone know.
Ordered full rack of baby back ribs, they were horrible, tuff, unfavorable. I had to bring home & simmer. The waitress was great, but I will not be returning to this particular Chilis in Cedar Hill

Worst Ulta location Ive been to. Minimal assistance was given after I requested it twice. I asked about an exchange and was only acknowledged that I could indeed make one. Associate saw me lost looking for the items and didnt provide additional assistance. I couldnt find two of the products I came in for. I told the cashier she just said we should have it i told her I checked twice and instead of offering additional assistance, like Ive been offer in other Ulta locations, she just proceeded to say well it should have been there. Then I encountered a problem with an exchange ii came in to make, cashier used my rewards without my permission to fix said issue, an issue on their side not mine!Forwarding my concerns will do nothing. Ive already emailed corporate in regards to this store. Never have I been charged for an exchange and never has any other Ulta used my points without my permission.

Came here for a hair dryer. They are practicing social distancing and had everything clean and sanitized. Hand sanitizer at the door. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I got the dryer and flat iron I wanted. They also helped me select some face cream and perfume. It was a really awesome shopping experience. The face cream works great too!
Excellent customer service from the General Manager Jessica and the sales associate Celeste. I always have a great experience when I go to this Ultra. The store is nice and clean and the staff is very helpful.

I had an appointment at 5:45 I sat there for an hour...talked to 2 different hair techs and the manager that I was waiting for my hair cut and Sarah “didn’t know”. There could have been ways she just assumed. I “didn’t show” but yet she didn’t even look at the computer, call over the megaphone, or walk up to me sitting there at the chairs right next to the salon. Very disappointed and unprofessional I had high hopes for Las /Irving Ulta.

Poor customer service from when I first walked in. I was greeted by the cashier once I walked in. I returned a sample hello & then proceeded to ask for the product that I was looking for. While asking for the product, I was cut off once the brand name was stated & told that it was located in a specific area of the store. I go to look for the product & I can’t find it.No one in that area to ask for assistance so I end up having to go back to the cash register to ask for help or if someone was working in that area. The young lady who greeted me when I walked in, interrupted me, & told me where the product was located, seemed very put out by me coming back to ask for help. She even had to stop & put her tennis shoes back on before helping me to look for the product. Once we made it to that area, then I was told that they do not carry that specific product.I could have been told all of this when I first walked into the store had I not been rudely interrupted while asking for the product. And maybe she could have kept her shoes off a little longer.Please listen to your customers. I already knew what I wanted when I walked into the store.
If youre black; they will follow you around the store and constantly ask if you need any help when you say no, the white cashier will pretend she is restocking around the area youre browsing, this is the 3rd time this has happen to me here.I even went into the store with NO purse and still was followed around...By the way, I do not look homeless, poor; well dress casual black woman; I looked better than the employees working there in my opinion, not a person youd suspect as a thief especially if i came into the STORE with absolutely no bag .Every black person does not steal. we love high end products as any other race..but my camera will be on next time this happens.

2Havent been here in a long time and what a pleasant surprise. All the colorful, neatly displayed merchandise was so appealing to the eye and it smelled good too. We went for the gift set with any Ulta brand purchase. Discovered a few new items and then some. Gave the free set to a friend and made her & myself happy! Very nice sales people as well.
First time actually visiting the store, everything was organized and the staff was helpful, friendly, and willing to help. Their online presence is very good as well as this has my previous way of shopping there. Definitely a place I will be returning too.
Simone was rude. Obviously if you are a cashier you have to be proactive. I had to tell her I was using a coupon. She cancelled my transaction like 3 times. I asked her if I had points I could use .. she rolled her eyes and told me I need to tell her before the payment part. GIRLLL THAT IS NOT MY JOB. She seemed like she was in a rush too. The person who helped me pick out my stuff was nice though! Simone didn’t have very good customer service at all!
Very talented and highly skilled master hair colorist, Marie. You cant go wrong with her. Shes fantastic. Everyone leaves her chair happy. She gives great cuts too.
Bella assisted me with my shopping during my visit and was super helpful! She was able to find products that were exactly what I was looking for and even if the first product was out of stock she had additional recommendations that still fit what I needed. I will return to this ulta just because of the amazing customer service she provided me.
If I could do a negative 5 star, I would. Please do not go here for any beauty salon services. They are very deceitful and misinformative. My daughter scheduled an appointment with Marie for a hair trim and was not inform on the cost for the trim. My daughter being young and gualabe was charged $65.00 for a hair trim. They are very deceitful and will charge unauthorized tips to the total. Please stay away from this place. The manager isnt any help.

I was seriously so disappointed last time I visited this Ulta. It was the end of October and my husband had just ran out of his regular cologne. We had some last minute shopping to do for myself and our daughter for a family members wedding we had the very next day. Of course I’m done with her shopping and mine then he reminds me he needs cologne. We were already that cedar hill target so I thought yes Ulta is right by here let’s go there I have points maybe they have a sale or deal of some sort. I myself years ago worked at the S Arlington Ulta location so I am very aware of policies and types of people that come in. Anyways, we went in quick and asked them to point us to the cologne area cause we were trying to get in and out quick. They pointed me in the direction and I’m pretty sure then pointed security to follow us as well. There was a woman manager and I believe a free lancer man that kept coming up to us and to each other talking. I could already tell they stereotyped that we were going to try to steal cologne cause yes that’s what a lot of people do at all Ulta’s but again they weren’t even professional or discreet about it. My daughter is only 3 and she even asked me “why is the police officer just watching me” like what the hell Ulta! Again I understand policies but working in retail you should have proper training on how to discreetly do things or just STAY assisting the customer the entire time. Not going in circles whispering to each other. So unprofessional. Then when I’m actually asking for the bottles and pricing they had no clue on any of that 😂 I used to really like the cedar hill store and it was were I regularly went cause it is small and quiet but I will never return here because of how uncomfortable it made my family and myself feel. Luckily my husband really doesn’t care about stuff like that but it really sucked my daughter feeling that way to the point where she asked me that being only 3 years old. They didn’t have the size I wanted which is the largest bottle of Versace so I ended up just going to Dillard’s down the way and spent my 134 dollars elsewhere. PLEASE GO OVER OTHER WAYS TO TRAIN FOR LOSS PREVENTION AND ALSO REQUEST A NEW FLOOR SETUP FOR YOUR PERFUME/COLOGNE SECTION, IT WILL HELP TO MONITOR THAT AREA DISCRETELY WITHOUT MAKING CUSTOMERS FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE IN YOUR STORE.

Neisha is a great hairstylist. She is experienced, nice to talk to, and shes good at evaluating the needs of your hair and skin and showing you the products that would be beneficial to you, whether you choose to buy or not. Very understanding and helpful, would suggest her to anyone!

The staff here are SO friendly, much more than the Waxahachie store. Now I wait to shop at Ulta until I am going to the dentist in Cedar Hill because they have us spoiled! My daughter had her brows done at the Benefit brow bar there and I cant remember her name but she was amazing and super sweet!
Went there to get bath bongs for wife for mothers day. The security guard was very helpful. The staff was not very helpful in helping finding stuff. The bath bongs were a good price and ladybat register helped me get the beat deal possible
Customer service isnt that great most of the cashiers are rude and the design of the store is chaotic way too much product in such a small space, i went today for a product that was marked as in store when i checked online i go and im told we dont have it no knowledge of when and if they will either.. this is the second time iv went to an ulta and was told the same thing and sometimes i wonder if the employees are just too lazy to look for the product in the crazy mess of a store..not only that but iv walked around the store on numerous occasions clearly frustrated looking for a product and was passed by the sales associates not once have i been asked if i needed help. Took my business to sephora got like 7 or 8 free samples with my order what was i doing wasting my time at this store lol!

She gave me the color Ive been wanting for ever!!!!! She is so nice and explains everything. This store is dirty and super unorganized. The employees are not willing to help and have such a bad attitude when asked for help. Usually there’s one employee that’s disgruntled, but it seems like all the employees here (working in the front) hate being there. If you don’t like servicing customers, find another job. Also, anything you’re looking for is probably not there because they NEVER have their shelves stocked. They really need to work on their Customer Service Skills and inventory.
I was in this location today for a total of 13 minutes and no one greeted me nor asked if I needed any assistance. There were too many associates that were present for such lack of customer service. Maybe if I was a little “lighter” like every one else I would’ve been acknowledged or maybe not. 🙄 I’ll continue to take my money elsewhere.
I come to this location, because its the closest. I wish the staff had time to assist, but they walk right by you. Theyre never fully stocked, so sometimes you have to just ramble around until you find something close. It doesnt feel good to spend money somewhere and not be acknowledged.*To add to my previous review: For the last 3 visits, Ive been watched and followed. Still with no help, other than a pointed finger in the right direction. To have a security guard standing at the door is an insult to hard- working. To also hear the associates literally talk about how people had been stealing and how they need to be watchful is even more of an insult. Over it

I’m new in town and decided to give this salon a try. If you are in need of a color and cut or your brows done you have to book with Ashley B or Crystal M. They are the BEST at this salon. They are so nice and they know what they are doing! I have been to a lot of salons in the DFW area but they by far are the best. I had so much fun coming in.I had a cut, baylage and a blow out and I am getting so many compliments. Can’t recommend them enough!

Just no. Super crowded, uninterested staff, disorganized layout. Fan out further into the suburbs for your beauty store needs, or better yet, just hit up the JCP around the corner with a Sephora inside.

I wish I could give no stars. I have never had a bad ulta experience til this one. No one helped us, everything is very messy and the cashier when I was gonna say something she cut me off rudely to say the rewards system was down to try another store. Ulta is my favorite store and it sucks to have to give it a bad review. I will now travel to another location when this one isnt far. Id rather do that then to have another bad experience where it brings out the ugly in people.

Laura (the night manager I guess) is not helpful at all. I asked her if they had any more of the John Freda shampoo I needed because the only one they had out on the shelf was opened and had been sqeezed to where the shampoo was coming out the cap. She said no without actually looking and had an attitude. Asked me if there wasn’t any more on the shelf... obsviously there isn’t if I’m asking her for any in the back. I then asked her if I could get a discount since this one had been opened she said no but was sort of rude about it. She had been rude from the beginning too. No wonder this location has such poor reviews and ratings! Also my husband and I were two of 4 people in the store and not once were we asked if we needed help or a greeting which I usually get at other Ulta locations.
I would not recommend getting a facial here at all. I went in for my 60 min facial, arriving approximately 5-10 min early, as that’s common curtesy when going somewhere for the first time. I told the ladies at the desk I was here for my appt and they told me they were just waiting on the esthetician to arrive and that she should be here soon and for me to just shop around until my appt time. So I walk around the store for a little, until my appt time comes and goes. She ends up being at least 10 min late & don’t get taken back until probably 15 min after scheduled. Now I can understand being behind schedule & that things happen, having worked in a similar environment. I finally get taken back and I get an iffy facial, other than the fact that she couldn’t get the steamer to turn on (which is a major part of opening up your pores in order for the facial to ACTUALLY WORK). Then she tells me she’s going to start extractions. This is when she starts going in on my face with her BARE HANDS??? I have had several facials, both from Ulta and other providers, and everyone always uses some type of tool; I assume to avoid transferring bacteria and such. It was almost laughable at this point how awful it was. Then, after she’s finished rubbing her hands all over my face, she finishes the facial with another product or two and I’m just happy to be done. When I get done, pay, and get to my car, I realize I was only in there for 30 minutes when I paid for a 60 minute customized facial. Even WITH her being 15 minutes late, I walked out 10-15 before my appointment should have ended. Overall, I think anyone hoping to receive a quality facial should look elsewhere.
Hate this ulta. Every time I go they never have anything in stock. Like I get that they run out of things but I literally went back every two weeks and it looked the same everytime. I overheard one of the workers say that the got a shipment yesterday but theyre still out of stock on a lot of things. I just wanted a concealer and a new highlighter. Very disappointing.
I have decided to stop going to Ulta. My first time I went to this location it took an hour for me to get any sort of help. Even then the girl that had been talking with her co-workers this whole time about going out that night, seemed very annoyed with helping me. I had wondered around the store aimlessly for an hour looking for a specific product that I had used in a different state. Come to find out this location had never carried this product. When I asked if she had a similar product she rolled her eyes and said no. Well now, I didnt know a simple question would put someone out like that. Interesting even after this little rude encounter, I just attributed it to teenage girls having an off day, it happens. I was 16 once nonetheless, this is an occurrence that happens every time I go there. No help on the floor, displays in shables, I actually found myself organizing the buxom display. Because, I couldnt find the color I desired in the mess. The store is a madhouse, employees out rightly doing their makeup in mirrors meant for guest, customer service is lacking at best. I tried for the past year... Broke down and went to Sephora due to not wanting to encounter attitude, indigence and worst of all unorganized mess. My heart goes out to retail I worked in it, but because of this I know what to expect from certain stores typically, if your nice to the employee their nice back. Not here.
Bad customer services. No one great me at the door instead they just kept staring at me but after another person walk in they great them. Took a while on the check out line since there was only one person checking out a person and other 3 employees where in the register chatting like I wasn’t there. Smh how this people really judge you by color & wha you wear .
I visit this store often and have found that the products that Im looking for are rarely in stock. Whomever is the purchasing agent for THIS store needs to do a better job on inventory control.
The rude manager and unknowledgeable staff gets this place a thumbsdown. Your items are too expensive for you to not provide stellar customer service.

I wish i wouldve taken pictures of this disastrous store. It was absolutely disgusting. Every sample on display was utterly filthy, i didnt dare touch any of them for fear of staph. Foundations were caked with goop. products were smashed and unusable and unsanitizable. Not only were the samples filthy beyond cleaning, they must have an issue with stocking the shelves because everything was empty. If there was a product stocked, it was tampered with. Products for sale were sticky and also caked, presumably from the handled samples. Store employees would ask if my companion and i were alright and immediately walked off before we could get a word out. 0/10 i will never be back, ill stick to sephora or any other beauty store for that matter.

The beauty products in the lower priced sections are kinda messy and all over the place and some of the brands are desparately out of stock.
Testers in the Ulta makeup section were disgustingly dirty as if they hadnt been wiped clean in a long time. Items in this section were also very disorganized with colors put in wrong slot. Also, even the testers in the higher priced name brand makeup section the testers were dirty and disorganized. Wont be back.
Shopping for perfume, I picked up the CoCo Chanel tester to smell. I few sec. Later, the intercom makes some type of announcement Attention to cosmetics, CoCo Chanel to be exact.....Let me remind you, I am African American and will NEVER shop here again. And by the way, can I assist you was never asked by a live person. But on the over head recording... It was needed attention to CoCo Chanel section, 🤔which was were I was currently standing. Hahaha. Took my money somewhere else. How do you direct attention to me, but dont come assist me???????? Never shop here!

Shopping here feels like punishment. Worst customer service EVER. Theres been a couple of times that no one speaks to me until I reach the register and then its only to ask for my phone number. They are extremely inconsistent with their policies. The store is always a mess and its never stocked. Today I decided I need to stop punishing myself and start shopping at Sephora.
The staff was friendly but the store was a complete mess with almost nothing in stock for any brand of makeup, and absolutely no IT brushes in stock. Disappointing since this is the only Ulta Beauty store in the area.
Never have anything in stock. Never have enough employees to assist you. The last 3 days in a row that I went there wasnt any sponges/supplies to apply testers or any napkins to wipe off the makeup. Just empty boxes of napkins lying around. They also dont have enough or good testers. They are broken or empty. Also on their shipment days, or the day after they receive shipment, they still dont receive everything they are supposed to because they are still out of stock on something that they should still be carrying.

I have been a faithful Sephora shopper for 2 years (which is how long Ive been wearing make up). Well ive had skin problems for some time and I was looking for find a anti acne or mineral based foundation to help me on my road to acne recovery. Sephora accommodate suggested ULTA as they did not sell anything that would cater to what I needed. I went to ULTA and asked a woman behind the counter for an associate to help me. Stood in the same sport waiting for 25-30 mins before a girl passed by and asked me if I needed help.She was very polite and knowledgeable about what I needed. If it wasnt for her help, I would of just went back to Sephora.In all honesty, ULTA reminds me of like a walmart. The reason why I never shopped there was because its so packed, so cluttered, and it seems like no one is able to help you. Ive stuck with Sephora because I dont know alot about makeup, and they always educate me and show me how to do or use something. The review would of been 1 star had the nice girl not helped me find exactly what I needed. But I can assure you, Ill only be shopping at Ulta for that foundation and nothing else.

One of the main reasons I pick Ulta over Sephora is their promotions..... until now. Today I brought a $30 hair serum that was advertised in store to come with a free gift. The sales woman wasnt even aware of this, unless she just pretended not to know because they didnt have any in stock. The worst thing was that they wouldnt replace it with something else, give ulta points, or even let me receive the gift after it came in. I think this is very poor customer service.
