Curbside pickup was extremely slow. Our initial order wasnt going to be ready until after we specified. Checked in twice, called in three times before we got someone. Our other location is much faster. Waited almost 30 minutes in the car with our kids before the manager came out to talk with us. The order hadnt been filled yet due to them being shortstaffed. We decided to come back to pick up our order the next day.

Their curbside stresses me out too much been waiting almost 20 minutes and I even hit the “on my way” button and gave them like 15 minutes to get everything ready there’s no other people picking up curbside what’s they delay? Is this a way to get people to stop using this service cause I definitely am. Gas is not cheap to be having me idle out hear for almost 30 minutes

Today self check out person older Caucasian lady was in my face going through everything and asking are you sure that was scanned. Lifting and touching my stuff because of water. I scanned all of the water and she said Im trying to help! Just let me do my job. When asked to help with digital she had an attitude. Told her to not come but she returned. Feel harassed and annoyed

I’m giving a 1 for customer service in this store and because I couldn’t help but to hear your front end worker( I won’t mention his name)but he was the only male cashier on 6/30 between 8-9:00, be rude to another coworker. His words to the other worker was “Get over here”. He was very unprofessional at speaking to the young man in this demeaning manner. He needs to be mindful of his actions and who’s watching and listening. The other young man was in fact working and did not deserve to be spoken to that way.

I don’t feel comfortable shopping here. The customer service is absolutely horrible/nonexistent. No friendly faces or greetings. They stare as I shop(self check out older whites females and the florist) to the point that it makes you feel unwelcome. I come here mainly for flowers but I’ll have to find somewhere to retrieve them from.

Had to stand in a line that stretched half the length of the store. It took 42 minutes to buy my stuff. There was only 1 checker working and she was clearly stressed out. To me this is totally ridiculous . I have to drive 40miles to get to this store in Midlothian. Kroger has always been my choice of grocers but after yesterday my choice is going to change. The checker attempted to call for help and couldnt get help. Where was these over paid store manager,s.Sitting behind thier desk collecting thier money.I will never use a self checkout unless i get a discount on my purchase.I don,t want to work for kroger,Walmart or any other place..

Let’s just say this review was initially one star until “Mirene” (manager) came out. I had been trying to get my vehicle registration all week. Both times, I called ahead of time and staff members told me the money center was open and working. They were closed both times when I came. The second time I was so frustrated because I had my 1 year old with me and had taken off work again. Mirene politely explained the problem (they had a new machine) even while I had a bit of an attitude and actually had the lady come out and do my vehicle registration for me. I appreciate her, because I was very upset. Happy now though lol.

Worst Kroger store I have been to. Poor selection and layout.Other stores have better cheese and other items. Needs remodeling.

I like most of the employees and they are usually helpful besides one cashier that works in the evening. I have began to use pick up orders and every time they are out of such basic things like organic whole milk, seasoned black beans. organic celery. I put down for substitutions and they send notifications that there are no substitutes. Really, so y’all don’t carry these simple items non organic or any other brands? I won’t use delivery anymore because it’s a $10 fee which is fine but if I place a $100 order and you only bring me $30 worth because your inventory is wrong or slowly updated it’s highly annoying and not worth it.

Its a decent place to get groceries and some items for your family. I must have come on a fundraising day as they were asking every customer for a donation. When someone would make a donation they would scream donation made at register 2 whoo hooo.. I noticed several cashiers taking their masks down to hollar out challenges to the other registers. Now if wearing a mask 😷 is sooooo important why pull it down to scream your challenge to the other registers while spreading massive super spreader germs in doing so????? I would have made a donation and shopped longer but I was so annoyed with the behaviors I just made my purchase and left shaking my head 🙃. I also noticed several used masks in the parking lot and was appalled. I am soo shocked that senior management allows this behavior.. STUNNING!!

Shelly the florist was the best. She created a beautiful arrangement for a friend who lost a loved one. Not only did she create the arrangement, but she took time to explain how to best take care of the flowers. Shelly made the experience personal which honestly made me forget that I was in Kroger. Shelly has made Kroger my new place for floral arrangements. Thank you Shelly, you really made someones day special!

Isles unorganized, bathrooms reek of piss and feces, staff no where to be found, and not enough ones open, would be nice if they had a lane just for Instacart/shipt or shopper services, had a few batches cancel because I took too long in the store even though I had no control over the situation, either items not in stock or the lines are long and there’s only 2 lanes open, smh absolutely hate coming here but what to do when that’s the store your sent to to pick up your customers order

This is my first and last time to be in KrogerI came in Friday at 2:30 pm no body was in customerservice i asked some workers over there they said ask about mis( chari )And when i found her she before i said anythingShe said i am closed no more customerservice today i asked what time customerservice service should close she said at 8 but i dont have time to be at customerserviceThats ridiculous 😒Never again

Lots of options and choices. Good selection. Check your expiration dates on anything that is so-called fresh packaged like the nuts in the sour candy and the pretzels and the trail mix that are in the produce section they have stuff thats expired for months still on the shelf. I bought peanut butter pretzels that expired/best used by the FIRST OF AUGUST 2018.

I had to change from 5 stars to one. Used the curbside pickup this week. My pick up time was between 1 and 2pm. Received a text at 12:30 stating my order will be ready on time. Arrived at the store at 1:10pm. Check in and thought everything was ready. Called the number after waiting 10 min. I was told my order was on the way out. After another 10 min called the number again and was told my order would not be ready between 3 and 4pm. Arrived again at 3:15 order was brought out and through all this no one never apologize for the problem. Very disappointed all loved using the curbside pickup. I will not be using this service or shopping at Kroger no longer.

I ordered online on Sunday and had quite a big order. I was told my order would not be delivered until Tuesday between the hours of 6-7 P. M. I felt that it was a long time for delivery, but since we are going through some rough times it was worth the wait.When the delivery person pulled up with only two bags my order came to 40 dollars and some change instead of the hundred and something. This bag of food did not include any of the items we thought were import.Mind you out of the forty that was paid ten was for delivery. When the driver was asked about the groceries we were told to shop at HEB.Krogers if youre going to give me the courtesy of shopping and delivering my groceries and youre out of stock on everything then give me the courtesy to call or shoot me an email so I wont waste my time.

Went last night the service was terrible in the self checkout the young man that was helping was terrible then double charged me for some cherries but before that a short lady with gray hair let me stand there in Her line and behind 2 customers and wouldn’t even help me told me she was closed and was going home. Observed from looking around to many young people not very tentive to the needs of the elderly I have been going to this store for years and never had i had to complain about this store!!!!

Wish this Kroger was as good as the one in Arlington. It constantly runs out of popular sale items and we found on multiple occasions that items we purchased were already expired. The Arlington Kroger may take a little longer to get to, but it is consistently a better experience.

I picked up a grocery order yesterday from the Kroger in Cedar Hill. I have not had a problem until now. Look at the pears they gave me. They are all bruised! To the management of Kroger this should have never happened.

Young man was very pleasant in the fresh seafood section. I needed some fish he ask me what kind right at closing. Thank you so much last minute guests wanted fish. He cane through for me. Meal accomplished everybody ate well!!

Ive only had a couple of problems with a couple people who worked here in the 13 years Ive been going here. I love this store. They have great sales and customer service. I love the people who work here they treat you like family.

I dont like having to do this(*self check out....capable but not always willing). Ive visited a lot of Kroger locations and this one always seems to set the standards for all of the others. The employees are always friendly and just about every trip I always see one of the managers on the floor making sure everything around the store is being done correctly and kept up to par. Ive never had to wait in line too long to check out. I get great savings with the online coupons and I use the app to help me save even more and stay up to date on the latest deals and sales. The deli department always has friendly people working. The produce is always fresh and usually well stocked. I do my grocery shopping here before I go to any other grocery store every time!

Kroger was exceptional. The way morning hours a lot is going on with stocking and all. Overall the staff were very nice. My cashier was the most friendliest and even made sure I was getting the most out of my savings.

Horrible customer service at meat department

I stop by here in the morning on my way to work, The cashiers are always rude, condescending and act as if you are bothering them. I have gotten seafood from here a couple of times and had to return it for being rotten. Its surprising that this Kroger is so horrible compared to the other Kroger stores I shop

I enjoy the consistency of the entire Kroger chain. Everytime I ask an associate where a certain product may be; I am attended to in a expeditious and courteous manner. I shop at Kroger on my job for the fire station meals and personally for my home. I access five different Kroger stores and I have great experiences in them all.

Always busy, but self checkout is quick. Difficult to find helpful store employees.

This particular location is top notch to me! Love how its been remodelled and its very well stocked. Lovely produce section. Beautiful floral Dept. The employees I engaged in were very friendly and helpful.

Last minute Thanksgiving shopping!! I was able to find everything i needed and wanted. I appreciate the shelves were stocked and neat. I only wish the staff was more friendly. The customer service has terrible customer service. The cashiers seem ok. I had to say hello to get their attention.

We been going to buy our groceries since 2000 but 2018 something has changed. On a Saturday afternoon high temps 99 degrees The AC was only working in the cold areas but 80 degrees around the dry good, candy and snack areas. They have changed the locations of products so you are now hunting for products which is big mistake. Only 2 full service checkout lines and everything else is self service.

If you get there early they have great deals through out the store that go quickly. The store is very clean. Most people working there are not that social early in the morning. There is only self check out early.

I love this Krogers. The employees recognize me every week, and always say hi. It is so easy to find great deals, and save tons of money.

Nice store but lots of empty shelves today. Very little fresh produce that I needed. Ive often shopped on Sunday morning without problem.

Overall only store I go. Only problem is occasionally lack of checkout. But employees are fantastic, very helpful and extremely polite. I drive 10 miles passing other stores to go to this location.

Never ever ever order a pick up order. None of my items were available and deducted from my bank account. Then I call up the 1-800 number to be told because of all the problems with online orders it could take up to 15 business days to receive my refund.

Went in the other day and passed by the bakery and there was a lady and a guy screaming at an employee back there. I stood there for awhile talking to my wife to see if maybe we should tell someone but I think they were both managers yelling at her. I had no idea Kroger treated its workers like that! I hope that poor girl finds another job. I definitely wont be supporting Kroger after seeing that.

No one at this location smiles and it starts with the management. If you ask any manager a question their answer comes with a bite and a snarl. Ive always loved Kroger until I moved to Cedar Hill Tx. I hate spending my money anywhere I cant get a smile and respect.

Layout used to make sense, that ended a year or so ago! Stopped shopping here because you cant find anything logically placed.Cashiers are usually great! Staff is polite & helpful, especially Jonathon Saucedo! Friendliest guy youll ever meet! Hes almost too helpful, almost!If not for the layout, wed probably still be shopping there. My husband left mid-shopping once in frustration over the changes & layout (diapers & formula were on opposite sides of the store, may have been mid-change, but still unacceptable)

I wanted to give Kroger in Cedar Hill 5 stars in the bakery. I placed my order for my son’s cake 4 days in advance. My son’s party was on a Friday. I was doing my running around and my last stop was to pick up the cake. When I arrived the cake was not what I ordered. The employee Maria noticed I was not happy but did everything possible to make it right. Maria listen to what I order fixed the misunderstanding and had me out the door and on time to my party. Thank you Kroger’s for doing the righ thing.

Except for 7 people waiting for customer service. I left without getting help. I called back and spoke to the mgr about getting rain check and she apologized and said to come back anytime and mention her name.Everything else was fine. Oh. Also you were out of the Krogers starlight mints.

They make the best birthday cakes and they always have the freshest cakes. I had my 25th anniversary cake made by there bakery. It was very good.

I went to self check out and had the most disrespectful experience. . I used my coupons. I did the 10 for 10 beef jerky with 2 different type of coupons. Air wick, huggies wipes and pamper, toothpaste and toothbrush. . All within the coupon policy. When i checked the prices I noticed that i didnt get the promotion sell. I told Jessica who was in charge of the self check out and she snapped at me saying its the sale or the coupons i cant do both . ( which is a lie ) she than she continued to say very loud that if i could not afford it i shouldnt have gotten it . So i went ahead and paid for it even though i didnt ask for my coupons back and for it to be voided. Just very distasteful for a someone to try to belittle someone else. I will be doing my shopping else where

Good sales and prices though sale items usually cleared from shelves by coupon shoppers. Lots of parking. Difficult to get back on the freeway due to traffic and nearby lights.

I did not know they have a pharmacy. The staff were helpful, fast and friendly. Brian had me in and out in five minutes. Afterwards, I even picked up a few grocery items.

This place has been here a long time. Lots of services. I found hard 2 find items. I was pleased to see them. I got vehicle tax sticker @ customer service. Minutes earlier, i was in the county tax ofc in a long line.The store is clean and well organized. New feature is the click and go program. Download the app, shop-on the app, then drive in the designated parking space and ur groceries are delivered 2 ur car.Enjoy it

Im providing a 4 star review rather than 5 based on the fact that this store was recently converted from a Signature Kroger to a Value Kroger despite exterior signage to the contrary. The employees of this Kroger are motivated and helpful. A warm and friendly environment. Unfortunately the clueless upper management of Kroger took it upon themselves to take a very nice store selling lots of Organic and clean unprocessed foods and reduced it to selling pedestrian depopulation food which can be purchased anywhere. Customers and employees are frustrated with Krogers race to the bottom in order to compete with Amazon. Leave it to the experts in Cincinnati to break something that worked brilliantly. For those of you who think Velvetta is cheese this is your go-to store. If youre looking for higher-quality food, like the Nolan Ryan grass-fed beef or Simple Truth proteins Kroger claims to sell, upper management has deemed you not worthy. I rate the recent store reset a 0 star Epic Fail. We need to see if upper management admits their blunder or if they dig their heals in deeper. Based on modern business practices I suspect the later...

I ordered a cake for my daughters 8th Birthday. A Red velvet to be exact. I usually order cakes from the Cedar Hill location and they have been ok. When I ordered a cake this time not only was Maria rude but she didnt decorate the cake properly, I assume her attitude was a reflection of how my cake was decorated. I was annoyed and very upset. I told Pete the manager on duty and still felt my issue was not rectified. In the future I WILL NOT order another cake at Kroger in Cedar Hill

I shop there atleast five times a week, they have excellent, helpful, advice and they almost always know the answer to questions asked, especially if u cant figure out where an item is..👍👌✌

We have reported her to upper management and they dont seem to care because she is still working self checkout!!!Also they never have anything restocked for the next day!! They are always out of everything! The managers or supervisors never smile or talk to you...Everyone at this location just seems angry and you can tell they hate their job! Very unhappy customer with Kroger at Cedar Hill!!!

I have been going to Krogers for over 10 years these past couple years we have had a problem with the same Mexican lady she always thinks we are trying to steal something she will make rude comments and go as far as calling the person at the register​ we are at and tell them to make sure we are not stealing. Idk if it is because there is alot of us or what we are a family of 10 and we shop at Kroger up to 3 times a week and we only have problems with the Mexican lady always working the self checkout​. Everyone else is amazing they know our family watched most of us grow up even.

Luv this store, always have great variety and great courteous customer service, go out of my way for Nonni s biscotti of which they always have at least five varieties in stock at all times, other stores could learn from this location, please keep up the good work

Clean and open shopping, I was actually surprised finding several great priced outdoor items for a bbq. Better prices then home depot and IKEA.
